MICHAEL LEON SNYDER
LORANGER -- Loranger resident Michael Leon Snyder, 37, died at Lallie Kemp Medical Center in Independence on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, due to complications from previous surgeries.
He was a native of Husser.
Visitation will be on Monday, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, from 9 a.m until the religious services at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Burial will follow in Carter Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Ann "Frannie" Threeton of Loranger; a son, Shawn Michael Snyder Threeton of Loranger; two daughters, Amber Michell Snyder Threeton and Michaela Ashley Snyder, both of Loranger; his parents, Wilbert and Norma Webb Harter, of Picayune,Miss.; a sister, Tina Louise Woodard, of Albany; a brother, Robert Dale Snyder of Tulsa, Okla., and his grandmother, Luetha Gonzales, also of Tulsa.

THOMAS "TOMMY" MICHAEL TALLO
Thomas "Tommy" Michael Tallo, 42, of Hammond died at his home on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council No. 2952, an avid drag racer and a member of the NHRA.
He worked as an assistant manager for Coburn Supply Company of Hammond.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Mulkey Tallo; his son, Chad Michael Tallo; his mother, Carmelite Ragusa Tallo; a sister, Diane Tallo; a brother, Robert "Bobby"Tallo; a niece, a nephew, and a great-niece.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard "Benny" Tallo; his grandparents, Joseph and Mary DePaula Tallo and Thomas and Frances Alfonso Ragusa.
JOHNNY MARION BANKSTON SR.
PRIDE -- Johnny Marion Bankston Sr. , retired county agricultural extension agent for St. Tammany Parish, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004.
Born in Tangipahoa to Levi Houston Bankston and Ruth Lee Vine, he obtained a master's degree from Louisiana State University.
He was a contributor to the 4-H program, Louisiana Cattleman's Association, Farm Bureau and St. Tammany Parish Fair Association.
He was also a member of the Covington Ward of the the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is survived by his wife, Eula Mae Kelly of Pride; his children, Johnny Marion Bankston Jr. and Linda Beth Cruz, both of Covington, Janet Lyn Windom of Mustang, Okla., and Larry Lane Bankston of Folsom; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, Covington, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until the funeral at 11 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Covington.
Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Washington Parish.
LEOLA DALE JOHNSON BELL
BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. -- Leola Dale Johnson Bell, 89, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, in Pass Christian, Miss.
A native of Tickfaw, she was the former secretary with the federal government.
Survivors include her son, James J. Bell of Bay St. Louis; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewitt Stephen and Lillian Johnson ; and a son, David A. Bell.

DOROTHY BRIGGS
KENTWOOD -- Dorothy Briggs, 70, a native of Sunny Hill, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004.
She is survived by her husband, Oscar Briggs of Kentwood; six sons, Rayford Burkhalter and Roger Briggs, both of Portland, Ore., Edward Charles Burkhalter and Oscar Briggs Jr., both of Kentwood, Michael Briggs of San Antonio and Andre Briggs of Tylertown, Miss.; three daughters, Gloria Briggs of Franklinton and Sharon Briggs and Debra Goodloe, both of Kentwood; five sisters, Augustine B. White of Dayton, Ohio, Georgia M. Bickham of Franklinton, Carol Jean Bell of Columbus, Ga., Gwenda Dyson of Los Angeles and Willie Tammy Burkhalter of New Orleans; five brothers, Weston Burkhalter of Kentwood, Willie Earl Burkhalter of Los Angeles, Leroy Burkhalter of Franklinton, Curtis Ray Burkhalter of Roseland and Allen Burkhalter of Mount Hermon; and eight stepbrothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and M. Burkhalter; and one son, Alvin Briggs.
Visitation will be Friday at Richardson Funeral Home, Amite, from 5 to 8 p.m. The Rev. Sherman Berry will conduct the funeral Saturday at 11 a.m. at Union Chapel AME Church, Kentwood. Burial will be at Union Chapel Cemetery, Kentwood.
GENEVA CYPRIAN
UNEEDUS -- Geneva Cyprian, 87, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, at her home.
She was a retired cafeteria worker with the Tangipahoa Parish School System and a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church where she was the mother of the church, a deaconess and a member of the choir.
Survivors include two children, James "Cyp" and Kathy; and five grandchildren.
Dismissal was today at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, Uneedus, and burial was at the church cemetery.

BEATRICE Washington HART
Beatrice Washington Hart, 75, a native of McComb, Miss., died.
She was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church of Hammond.
She is survived by two sisters, Mildred Johnson and Aline Wells, both of McComb, Miss.; and one grandchild and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Clara Grant; and her husband, John Hart Jr.
Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Hammond. The Rev. Larry Cross will conduct the funeral Saturday at 11 a.m., and burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Hammond.

IRMA KNIGHT
AMITE -- Irma Knight, 58, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond.
A native of Brookhaven, Miss., she is survived by survived by two daughters, Jennette Knight of Amite and Alice Meadows of Hammond; three sons, Jimmie Knight of Independence and Melvin and David Knight, both of Amite; one sister, Inez Williams of Springfield, Mass.; and three brothers, Willie C. Knight of Houston, Arthur Knight of Greensburg and Henry Lee Knight of Hammond.
Visitation will be Friday at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, Hammond, from 6 to 9 p.m. The Rev. Morris Payne will conduct the funeral at the church Saturday at 11 a.m., and burial will be at Butler Cemetery, Amite.

ANGELINA CONIGLIO MANNINO
Angelina Coniglio Mannino, 97, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, at Belle Maison Nursing Home.
A native of Independence, she is survived by three daughters, Laura Ianetta of Metairie, Phine Westmoreland and Rose Ann Spitale, both of Independence; two sons, Salvadore Mannino of Metairie and Anthony Mannino of Independence; 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Mannino; her parents, Anthony and Josephine Mellitelo Coniglio; one brother, Frank Mellitelo; and three sisters, Josie Ferrara, Rosalie Labat and Josephine Biamonte.
Visitation will be Friday at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 8 until 10 a.m. The funeral will be at 10:30 at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, Independence.
Burial will be at Colonial Cemetery.
NORMAN R. ZANDERS
NEW ORLEANS -- The Rev. Norman R. Zanders, 56, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at his mother's home in McComb, Miss.
A native of Roseland, he is survived by one son, Chad Rogers Zanders; three sisters, Fochia Brown, Barbara Zanders Dawson and Lelia Z. Strozier; and four brothers, Larry Zanders Jr., Alton W. Zanders, Willie M. Zanders Sr. and Timothy T. Zanders; and his mother, Lelia Varnado Zanders.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Zanders Sr.; and his grandparents.
Visitation will be Saturday at Butler's Chapel AME Zion Church, Amite, from 9 a.m. until the Rev. Francis Williams conducts the funeral at 11.
Burial will be at Rosehill Baptist Church Cemetery, Magnolia, Miss.
Richardson Funeral Home, Amite, is in charge.
DENNIS LEON CAMARDI
PONCHATOULA -- Dennis Leon Camardi, 45, a former Calvary Scott who served 3 1/2 years in the U.S. Army, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, at his home.
He was a native of New Orleans.
Survivors include his wife, Vickie L. Tenhaaf Camardi; three sons, Keith, Leon and Kenneth Camardi; a daughter, Melissa Camardi, all of Ponchatoula; two brothers, Freddie Seibert and Ronnie Camardi; four sisters, Sharon Seibert Roberts, Lauren Seibert Jones, Iva Seibert Hatter and Tara Seibert Baker all of Liberty, Miss., and two granddaughters.
His father, Charles Levi Mason; a brother, Ricky Pinkston; and grandmother, Cora Taylor Smith, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. when the Rev. Stacy Morgan of Jerusalem Baptist Church will conduct the funeral. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery.
