FRANK JOSEPH CABIBI, IV
Frank Joseph Cabibi IV, 46, a native of Metairie, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004, at North Oaks Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Hinkle Cabibi; his children, Frank Joseph Cabibi V and Melissa Jo Cabibi; his mother, Lilithia Sampere Bonvillian; his stepfather, Freddie Bonvillian; his brother, Yancey G. Cabibi; and his sister, Elizabeth Cabibi.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank J. Cabibi III.
Visitation will be Wednesday at Lamana-Panno-Fallo, 1717 Veterans Memorial Blvd. at Bonnabel Boulevard at 10 a.m. until the funeral at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans. Relatives, friends of the family and officers and members of Realtor Association of Tangipahoa Parish are invited to attend.
ANTHONY G. MARTINS
AMITE -- Anthony G. Martins, 40, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at Hood Memorial Hospital, Amite.
A native of Chicago, he is survived by his son, Kedron Martins of Amite; three daughters, Chanel, Stephanie and Mercedes Martins of Maywood, Ill.; two brothers, Frank Martin of Chicago and Darren Martin of Fort Wayne, Ind.
His parents, Frank and Stephanie Martin; his grandparents, William and Edlena Easley, and Henry and Ruth Martin, preceded him in death.
The Rev. John Mabry conducted a memorial service Monday at Richardson Funeral Home, Amite.
DAWN DIANA LAIRD
HOBESOUND, Fla. -- Dawn Diana Laird, 36, Martin County, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, at Martin Memorial Hospital South in Martin County, Fla.
She was a native of Ponchatoula.
Survivors include her parents, Woodie Vernon Laird and Anna Nell Bazelle Laird; and a sister, Kala Laird Martin all of of Hobesound.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Nellie and Gaines Bazelle and Woodard and Ethel Laird.
The funeral was held this afternoon at Geisler Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, and burial was in Collins Cemetery
in Ponchatoula.
WADE WARREN SPEED
Wade Warren Speed, 45, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, in a plane crash.
A native of Hammond, he was the owner of Speed Financial Services, a local provider of insurance and investment products.
Survivors include his parents, Carl and Toni Grand Speed of Hammond; two sisters, Teri Speed Gore of Ocala, Fla., and Carla Speed McNeil of Bowie, Md.; his grandmother, Sybil Burgess Grand of Baton Rouge; two half-sisters, Jennifer Teal and Amanda Richardson Thomas, both of Houma.
His grandparents, Luther and Lillie Rhodus Speed and Ross Anthony Grand; and one brother, Douglas Carl Speed, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be at Grace Memorial Episcopal Church Wednesday from noon until the Rev. Paul Bailey conducts a Mass at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Grace Memorial Episcopal Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, family members request memorials be made to Grace Memorial Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 1086, Hammond 70401, care of "In Memory of Wade W. Speed."
GERALDINE MARIE BRUMFIELD
FLUKER -- Geraldine Marie Brumfield, 58, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, at her home.
She is survived by two daughters, Shannon Burton and Maxine Brumfield, both of Amite; three sons, Rayfus Brumfield Jr. of Amite, Jessie Charles Brumfield and Malcom Dewayne Brumfield, both of Kentwood; seven sisters, Betty Jean Alexander, Charlene Ross and Carolyn Ruffin, all of Fluker, Debra Perry and Joyce Womack, both of Tangipahoa, Helen Ann Moore of Laurel, Miss., and Sybil Ridgley of Richmond, Va.; two brothers, Charles Moore of Fluker and Marshall Cook of Tangipahoa; 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rayfus Brumfield Sr.; her parents, Charlie and Eula Moore; one brother and one grandchild.
Visitation will be Friday at Angelic Funeral Home, Roseland, from 2 to 8 p.m. The Rev. Bobby Showers will conduct the funeral Saturday at 11 a.m. at Community Missionary Baptist Church, Fluker.
SALVADOR CUTI JR.
AMITE -- Salvador "Sal" Cuti Jr., 52, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, at his home.
A native of Independence, he was a distributor for a cookie company.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret "Rickie" Cuti of Amite; two daughters, Donna Cuti Kelsey and Marcy Cuti Cutrer, both of Amite; one son, Darrell Cuti of Independence; one sister, Carla Pourciau of Ponchatoula; three brothers, Vick, David and Mike Cuti, all of Amite; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Darren Cuti; and his father, Salvador "Sam" Cuti.
Visitation will be Wednesday at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. until the funeral at 11. The Rev. David Fortenberry, the Rev. Matt Pearson and the Rev. Bradley Rushing will be in charge.
Burial will be at Amite Memorial Gardens, Amite.
ELLA TONEY WILLIE BENNETT SITMAN
AMITE -- Ella Toney Willie Bennett Sitman, 100, died Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, at her home.
A native of Independence, she was a retired nurse.
Survivors include, two daughters, Ruth Willie Bennett of Baton Rouge and Joan Bennett Jones of Amite; one son, Charlie Edward Bennett of Independence; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ado Willie; her second husband, Leon A. Bennett; her third husband, Charles Maston Sitman; her parents, Anthony Phillip Toney and Alice Eva Hoover Toney; her son, S.H. Bennett; two brothers, Willie "Bill" and Henry Phillip Toney; two sisters, Ruth Toney Robicheaux and Alice Eva "Moody" Hayden; three half-brothers, Matthew, Marcus and Morris Hano; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be tonight at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. until the Rev. Kenneth Istre conducts the funeral at 2 p.m.
Burial will be at Bennett Cemetery, Independence.
LINDA BLAHUT TIMBERLAKE
SPRINGFIELD -- Linda Blahut Timberlake, 45, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, at Guest House Nursing Home, Baton Rouge.
A native of Springfield, she is survived by one daughter, Angela Timberlake Phillippe of Hammond; one son, Joseph Charles Timberlake of Hammond; her father, Julius Charles Blahut of Springfield; one sister, Cathy Blahut-Harris of Springfield; her grandmother, Mary Duczer Blahut of Hungarian Settlement; and a grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Furca Blahut; two brothers, Jesse and Charles Blahut; and her grandparents, Julius Blahut and Raymond and Lucille Furca.
The Rev. E. Rand Guy conducted the funeral today at the Springfield First United Methodist Church, and burial was at Efferson Cemetery.

EMMA MARSHALL BANKSTON
Emma Marshall Bankston, 96, a former nurse's aid, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, at Live Oak Village Nursing Home of Hammond.
Survivors include two daughters, Annette Wagner and Fayrene Mitchell; two sons, Carlton Bankston and Byron Bankston; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis R. Bankston; her parents, Marshall and Ellen C. Stafford Howze; a son, Geron Bankston; two sisters and one brother.
Visitation will be at Seale Funeral Home, Livingston, Saturday from 9 a.m. until the Rev. Richard Wallace conducts the funeral at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Howze Cemetery, Holden.
ELLA HUNTER MOORE BUCHANAN
Ella Hunter Moore Buchanan, 86, a native of Carrolton, Miss., died Nov. 7, 2004 at North Oaks Medical Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Rita Monreaux of Ponchatoula; a son, Jimmy V. Buchanan of Virginia Beach, Va.; four grandsons, three great-grandsons and one great-great-granddaughter.
Her husband, James V. Buchanan; and two sisters preceded her in death.
There will be a graveside service Monday at 11 a.m. at New Hope Cemetery
in Carrolton, Miss. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.

DOROTHY MCFADDEN
Dorothy McFadden, 69, a housewife and a native of Magnolia, Miss., died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004, in Hammond.
She is survived by three daughters, Dorothy Brown and Geraldine Joseph, both of Hammond, and Minnie Jones of Slidell; two sons, Rickey Brown of Hammond and Charles E. Brown of Slidell; two sisters, Dorothy Hawthorne of Chicago and Henrietta Holloway of Dallas; four brothers, Clarence and Vernell Cloy of Ponchatoula, Jackie Johnson of Tylertown, Miss., and Ben Johnson of Fort Worth, Texas ; 24 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
Her husband, one son, mother, father, brother and grandson, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be tonight from 5 until 9 at Richardson Funeral Home, Hammond. Ernest Smith will conduct the funeral at 11 a.m. Saturday.
Burial will be in Ponchatoula Cemetery, Ponchatoula.
