Herculon DeMaria. interment in Mount Zion Cemetery, Galvez. Survived by wife, Ruby Lee B. Roddy, Gonzales; a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Wilson Fontenot, Gonzales; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ted and Bridget Roddy and Glynn and Angela Roddy, all of Gonzales; two sisters, Elaine Melancon, Gramercy, and Bonnie Way, Port Vincent; a brother, Morris Glynn Roddy, Baton Rouge; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, George W. and Aggie Mayers Roddy; a daughter, Linda Mary Roddy; a sister, Lillie Mae Noto; and a grandson, Conley Joseph Roddy. Pallbearers will be Brett Sanchez, Todd Saucier, Dirk Fairchild, Brandon Babin, Tyson Roddy, Tyke Fontenot, Bart Savoy and Biff Fontenot. Honorary pallbearers are Austin and Jory Roddy. He was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church where he served as a Eucharistic minister and a member of the Usher’s Society and bingo committee.

LINK, JR. MORRIS "DUNNER"
A housing authority maintenance worker and a resident of Schriever, he died at 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999, at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, Thibodaux. He was 42 and a native of White Castle. Visiting at Progressive Baptist Church, White Castle, 5 p.m. Thursday until religious services at 8 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Johnny Williams Sr. Dismissal at 10 a.m. Friday. interment in Brazile Baptist Church Cemetery, Cannonburg community. Survived by his wife, Pamela Link; mother, Orelia R. Link, White Castle; two sisters, Rita L. Smith, Donaldsonville, and Mary J. Favorite, White Castle; three brothers, James Link, White Castle, John F. Link, Ozark, Ala., and Michael Link, St. James; seven sisters-in-law, seven brothers-in-law, four aunts, three uncles, godparents and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his father, Morris Link Sr.; grandparents; father-in-law, Albert Woolens Sr.; and a nephew. Demby & Son Funeral Home, Donaldsonville, in charge of arrangements.

PAGE, NATHAN C.
A resident of Denham Springs, he died at 2 a.m. Wednesday, March 3, 1999, at Golden Age Nursing Home. He was 89 and a native of Picayune, Miss. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and after 8 a.m. Friday. Religious services at the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Ray Johnson . interment in Felders Cemetery. Survived by a stepdaughter, Donnis Matherne; a stepson, John P. Jones; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by wife, Maggie Andrews Page; two brothers, a sister and five stepsons. He was a member of First Pentecostal Church, Denham Springs.

PATIN, HERMAN J.
Retired and a native of Baton Rouge, he died at 4:10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, 1999, at Port Allen Care Center. He was 74. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Visiting at New Southside Funeral Home, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. Religious services at Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church at 10 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. S.C. Dixon. interment in Roselawn Memorial Park. Survived by wife, Jessie Wilson Patin; a brother, David Patin, Chicago; and three godchildren.

PERILLOUX, CLAUDIA DELIBERTO
A resident of Bedico, she died Wednesday, March 3, 1999, at her home. She was 61 and a native of Hammond. Visiting at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Friday. Religious services at St. Anselm Catholic Church, Madisonville, at 11 a.m. Friday. interment in Stanga Cemetery, Bedico. Survived by a daughter, Melissa Perilloux, Bedico; a son, Andrew Perilloux III, Bedico; and a granddaughter, Taylor Marie Perilloux, Bedico. Preceded in death by husband, Andrew "Bud" Perilloux; and parents, Joseph and Josephine Giacone Deliberto.

PERKINS, JEANETTE HAWKINS
A resident and native of Jackson , she died Saturday, Feb. 27, 1999, at West Feliciana Parish Hospital, St. Francisville. She was 42. Visiting at Richardson Funeral Home, Clinton, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. Religious services at F.T. Baptist Church, Jackson , at 11 a.m. Saturday, conducted by Elder Richard London. interment in Jackson Cemetery. Survived by father, Joe Louis Odom, Forrest, Miss.; a son, Lance Perkins, Jackson ; a daughter-in-law, Darelene Perkins, and granddaughter, DáLance Perkins, both of San Diego, Calif.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Debra Hawkins and Walter Johnson , Jackson , and Rachel B. McElveen, New Orleans; an aunt, Emma Hawkins, Jackson ; eight uncles, Jimmy, Hubert, Sam and Shack Hawkins, all of Jackson , Joe Hawkins, Zachary, Louis Hawkins, Baton Rouge, Richard Hawkins, Shreveport, and Jermaih Hawkins, New Orleans; three great-aunts, a great-uncle, three nieces, a nephew, two godchildren, two special friends and numerous other relatives and friends.

SCOTT, CARRIE ALLEN "GRANDMA"
A homemaker and resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 8:40 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She was 94 and a native of Pointe Coupee Parish. Visiting at Greater St. James Baptist Church, 3 p.m. Friday until religious services at 7 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Dr. Willie M. Finister. Dismissal at 10 a.m. Saturday. interment in Winnfield Memorial Park. Survived by five daughters, Dorothy Black, Juanita Scott, Dr. Geraldine Scott, Connie Scott and Valencia Scott, all of Baton Rouge; five sons, Thomas Scott Sr., Randolph Scott and Ferlon Scott, all of Baton Rouge, Earl Scott, San Diego, and Donald Ray Scott, Baton Rouge; 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, husband, a sister and three sons. She was a member of Mars Chapter No. 48, Daughters of the Universal Eastern Star. Miller & Daughter Mortuary, Zachary, in charge of arrangements.

WOODFORK, THELMA
Died at 4 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, 1999, at Plaquemine Caring Center. She was 82. Visiting at Hall’s Mortuary, Port Allen, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday. Visiting at Antioch Baptist Church, 5 p.m. until religious services from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. James Terrance. Dismissal at 11 a.m. Friday. interment in church cemetery. Survived by a brother, Wilmer Woodfork; a sister-in-law, Beatrice P. Woodfork; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents and four brothers.

ALLEN, ELCY LEE "TUT"
A school crossing guard and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, 1999, at Earl K. Long Medical Center. She was 54. Visiting at Winnfield Funeral Home, 8:30 a.m. Saturday until religious services at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Charles Clay Jr. interment in Winnfield Memorial Park. Survived by husband, David Allen Sr.; two daughters, Linda Barns and Barbara Jean Young; three sons, David Allen Jr., Ricky Lee Allen and Floyd Anthony Allen; two sisters, Bythella Johnson and Patricia Ann Johnson ; five brothers, Edward Profit, Dore James Profit, Clarence Prophet, Joe Louis Profit and Elzie Lee Profit; and 17 grandchildren. Preceded in death by mother, Phyllis Wallace Profit; father, Isiah Profit; three sisters and two brothers.

BERTHELOT, ELVEN
A retired pipe fitter with Exxon Co. USA and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 1999, at Ollie Steele Burden Manor. He was 91 and a native of Head of Island. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd., 9:30 a.m. Saturday until religious services at 12:30 p.m. interment in Wetmore Cemetery, Ponchatoula, at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Survived by a daughter, Patricia Berthelot Starks, Baton Rouge; two sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Dianne Berthelot, Baton Rouge, and Don and Sue Berthelot, Gonzales; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Floretta Hils Berthelot.

BORSKEY, THOMAS SIMPSON
A retired employee of Exxon Co. USA and a resident and native of Baton Rouge, he died Wednesday, March 3, 1999, at Dixon Medical Center. He was 85. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., 3:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Friday. Religious services at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Prairieville, at 10:30 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Stephen Hymel. interment in Prairieville Cemetery, Prairieville. Survived by his wife Lucille of 64 years; three daughters, Ann Massey, Maurepas, Marie Hernandez, Baton Rouge, and Linda Blouin, Denham Springs; a son, Thomas S. Borskey Jr., Fariview, N.C.; three sisters, Bertha Werlin, Wyoming, Eunice Heaberlin, Gonzales, and Barnell Starkey, Port Allen; a brother, Victor of Baker; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Paul Blouin, Danny Blouin, Thomas Borskey III, André Hernandez, Drew Lewis and Harold Massey. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.

BROWN, MICHEAL E.
A student and a resident and native of Baton Rouge, he died Monday, March 1, 1999, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. He was 8. Visiting at Winnfield Funeral Home, 11 a.m. Saturday until religious services at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Leo Cyrus. interment in Winnfield Memorial Park. Survived by father, Micheal Butler; and mother, Teresa M. Brown.

CUMMINGS, MARK GLENN
A native of Baton Rouge, a resident of Napa, Calif., a hotel manager and an accomplished musician, he was called home by the Lord the morning of Tuesday, March 2, 1999. He was born Aug. 12, 1957. He was a 1975 honor graduate of Glen Oaks High School and a 1983 graduate in music at LSU. He was a member of Lanier Baptist Church, Baton Rouge Choral Society and San Francisco Choral Society. He was a loving son, brother and friend. He was very loved and touched the hearts of everyone he knew. Memorial services are being held at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Napa at 11 a.m. Saturday. He is survived by his father, Gene Commings; a sister, Karen Viator, both of Greenwell Springs; his mother, Glenda Luker and stepfather Lewis Luker of Zachary; his brother, Gary Cummings and spouse Susie Cummings of Plaquemine; his grandmother, Ruth Rayborn of Zachary; stepsister, Cinda Owens of Baton Rouge; and his friend and companion, Keith Carter and family of Napa. He is also survived by five nephews and three nieces.

EDWARDS, CARROLL B.
A resident of Louisiana War Veterans Home, Jackson , he died at 5:19 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 1999, at Earl K. Long Medical Center. He was 64 and a native of Baton Rouge. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Religious services at Zoar Baptist Church at 10 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Daniel Dix. Burial in church cemetery. Survived by a brother, Jack Edwards; and two nephews, James and Jessie Edwards. Preceded in death by parents, Jessie "Jake" and Flossie Edwards.

FAVARON, MYRTLE GARNER
A resident of Plaquemine, she died at 3:20 a.m. Thursday, March 4, 1999, at River West Medical Center. She was 90, a native of Bogalusa and a former longtime resident of Livonia. Visiting at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine, 10 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church at 1 p.m. Friday, celebrated by the Rev. Jerome Dugas. Entombment in Grace Memorial Park Mausoleum. Survived by husband, Louis J. Favaron Jr., Plaquemine; a son and daughter-in-law, Louis A. and Dot Metrejean Favaron; three grandchildren, Karen Favaron, Blair Favaron and Tommy Favaron; four great-grandchildren, Brooke Graphia, Cade Brown, Brittany Favaron and Whitney Favaron; and a great-great-grandchild, Madison Graphia. Preceded in death by parents, Albert and Florence Furlow Garner; and four brothers.

FLEMING, RAYMOND
A resident of Florida, he died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999, in Riviera Beach, Fla. He was 49 and a native of Klotzville. Visiting at Virginia Baptist Church, Ewellville, 9 a.m. Saturday until religious services at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Lloyd Jones. Burial in church cemetery. Survived by his wife, Rosa L. Brooks, Riviera Beach; two sons, Gilbert and Kentry Fleming, both of Donaldsonville; eight stepchildren, Jonathan, Samuel, Eddie, Floyd, Rose and Francis Brooks, Cassandra Carn and Mildren Green; two sisters, Earline and Ann Marie Fleming, both of Klotzville; six brothers, Donald, Albert, Christopher, Alton, Michael and Keith Fleming, all of Klotzville; three sisters-in-law, Hazel, Elouise and Josephine; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Earl and Rowena Fleming; a son, Raymond Fleming Jr.; a brother and two sisters. Williams & Southall Funeral Home, Napoleonville, in charge of arrangements.
