LEBLANC, NORMA JEAN KING
A native of Houston and a longtime resident of St. Gabriel, she went to be with the Lord and joined her beloved family on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, at 9:40 p.m. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 8 a.m. Saturday until religious services at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Jim Rentz and the Rev. Wayne Austin. interment in St. Gabriel Cemetery. She is survived by a granddaughter, Patricia LeBlanc and husband Howard Eugene McManon of Cummings, Ga. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Edward LeBlanc ; two sons, Edward Joseph LeBlanc and Kenneth Ray LeBlanc ; parents and a brother. She was a member of the Healing Place Church.

LITTLE, SR. JACK R.
Retired from Uniroyal after serving as vice president of operations for Mono-Chem Inc., Geismar, he died at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 22, 2001, at Summit Hospital. He was a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Carterville, Ill. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2001, until memorial services at 2 p.m. Survived by his wife, Joann Cupit Little; a daughter, Bronwyn Little McGlothlin; a son, Jack Ransom Little Jr.; two grandchildren, Quentin Terry McGlothlin Jr. and Jack Ransom Little III; and two sisters, Mary Estel McCluskey and Jo Ann McCluskey. Preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Grace Little; two sisters, Margaret Antonich and Lois Jean Lewis; and two brothers, Austin and Donald Little. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Carterville, a 32nd degree Mason and 48-year member of Matteson Lodge No. 175, Joliet, Ill., and a shriner (Joliet York Rite). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions preferred to a favorite charity.

MARSHALL, MARTHA L. "SWEET"
A retired domestic technician at Baton Rouge General Medical Center and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Mid City. She was 88 and a native of Clinton. Visiting at New St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 1455 South Blvd., from 1 p.m. Saturday until religious services at 1:30 p.m., conducted by the Rev. W. Marshall Myles. interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Clinton. Survived by two sisters, Beulah M. Hayes and Olivia M. Dixon. Preceded in death by her father and mother, Joseph and Ollie Atkins Marshall; two brothers, E.U. and Edward Marshall; and four sisters, Ella M. Spurlock, Adelle M. Blount, Sadie M. Whitmore and Josie B. Marshall. Pallbearers will be Marshall J. Spurlock, Jamar Franklin, Felbert Jackson and Prince Lewis. Honorary pallbearers are James Hayes, Robert, Rivers and Haynie Blount, Clyde Dixon and the deacons of New St. John Missionary Baptist Church. Desselle's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

MCNAIR, JR. WILLIE THE REV.
An employee of Veterans Administration in Los Angeles, he died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2001, at Kaiser Hospital. He was 61, a resident of Los Angeles and a native of Plaquemine. Survived by his wife, Ophelia Wright McNair; five children, Jesse, Corie, Anthony, Cynthia and Robert; four sisters, Rosean, Virginia, Mary and Barbara; eight brothers, Norman, John D., Ernest, Clifton, Darrel, Terron and Joseph, and the Rev. Clyde McNell Sr.; nine grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

MOYSE, MARIE L. LEVY "ROCKY"
A resident of Baton Rouge for more than 60 years, she died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001, at her home. She was 80 and a native of New Orleans. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home chapel, 825 Government St., from 10 a.m. until religious services at noon Friday, conducted by Rabbi Barry Weinstein. Private entombment services will follow. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Hermann Moyse Jr.; a daughter and son-in-law, Marie "Mimi" and Claude Schlesinger of New Orleans; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Lewis A. Moyse of Dandridge, Tenn., and Hermann "Buck" III and Janet Moyse of Baton Rouge; and three grandchildren, Allison Moyse of Baton Rouge, David Moyse of Washington , D.C., and Aaron Moyse of Baton Rouge. Preceded in death by parents, Joe and Marie G. Levy; and a brother, Arthur G. Levy. She was a member of Congregation B'Nai Israel in Baton Rouge and over the years was active in numerous civic and philanthropic organizations. MYERS, PETER CARMICHAEL
A native and resident of Baton Rouge, he died at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was 33 and employed for seven years as a field engineer with Anco Industries Inc. A good son, brother and friend, Peter will be remembered with love and laughter. As an organ donor, Peter will enable others to live. He is survived by his mother, Annie Laurie Ivey; father and stepmother, Michael and Wendy Myers; a brother, Tiger Myers; a sister, Anna Ivey; four stepsisters, Carly Fancett, Diane Fancett, Donna Fancett and Claire Burge; a stepbrother, Robert Delgado; aunts and uncles, Joan and Ken Stewart, Penny Nichols, Mary Coy Nichols and James M. Nichols; cousins; and his girlfriend, Dana Sharp. Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, A.B. and Lillian Myers; and maternal grandparents, James B. and Effie Nichols. NELSON, SHIRLEY M. DUHON
A former housekeeper at Holiday Inn and Travel Lodge, she died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2001, at her sister's residence in Convent. She was 59, a native of Convent and a resident of New Orleans. Visiting at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Klotzville, from noon Saturday until religious services at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Emanuel Agbor. Burial in church cemetery. Survived by her husband, Frank Nelson; four sisters, Audrey M. Johnson , Hattie D. Wright and Dorastine Dilbert, all of New Orleans, and Emma D. Lane-Mitchell of Convent; and two brothers, Joseph Duhon of Convent and Mitchell Duhon of Gramercy. She was the devoted aunt of Robert Gray III. Also survived by her mother-in-law, Melissa Nelson; sister-in-law, Audrey Duhon; brothers-in-law, Jose Dilbert, Edgar Nelson Jr., Spencer and wife Rosemary, Jerome and Janet, Stanley, Lenroy, and Donald and Giseila Nelson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Mitchell and Liza Morris Duhon; a sister, Clara D.
