VEGLIA, SISTER MARY EUGENIE
A sister of St. Joseph of Medaille for 74 years, she died at 11:25 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001. The former Mae Clothilde Veglia, daughter of the late Eugenie Duraynaud Veglia and Louis Anthony Veglia; sister of Gloria Stieffel, and the late Claude and Ambrose Veglia. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was 90, a native of New Orleans and resident of Our Lady of Wisdom Health Care Center. Sister taught at St. Ann and St. Rose schools in New Orleans, St. Joseph Academy in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, New Roads and Bay St. Louis, Miss., and at McNicholas High School in Cincinnati. She was an archivist for the Sisters of St. Joseph in Baton Rouge. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Mass to be celebrated in the chapel of the Sisters of St. Joseph, 1200 Mirabeau Ave., New Orleans, at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2001, with the Rev. Paul Schott, S.J., celebrant. interment in St. Louis No. 3 Cemetery. Visitation at the Sisters of St. Joseph chapel, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, 2001, with prayer services at 5 p.m. Visitation from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to The Sisters of St. Joseph Development Fund, 1200 Mirabeau Ave., New Orleans, LA 70122. Arrangements by Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, New Orleans.

WEAVER, TERRESSA MAY "TERI"
A resident of Baton Rouge, she died Thursday evening, Nov. 8, 2001, in Baton Rouge. She was 63 and a native of Houston. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Visiting in the funeral home chapel from 8 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Phil Yoho. interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by a much-loved foster child, Austin Ryan Craig, Baton Rouge; a brother and four sisters-in-law, Gerald W. and Ruth V. Weaver, and Dana R. Weaver, all of Denham Springs, Janet L. Weaver, Baton Rouge, and Brenda R. Young, Lafayette; 10 nieces and nephews, Laura, Luddie III, Cheryl, Rhonda, Charles Jr., Terri, Greg, Chris, Tonya and Linda; 13 great-nieces and great-nephews; and a great-great-niece. Preceded in death by parents, Luddie P. Sr. and Mildred Vance Weaver; and three brothers, Charles, Luddie Jr. and Terrance Weaver. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. WOODSIDE, SYBIL LIPSCOMB
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and age 85, she died Friday morning, Nov. 9, 2001, at her residence in Jackson . Visiting at Charlet Funeral Home Inc., Clinton, from 9 a.m. Monday until memorial services at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Alvin Hall. Survived by two daughters, Adelle W. Quinn, Wilson, and Marie W. Sisson and husband Neal, Marietta, Ga.; two sons, Tom Woods ide Jr. and wife Aline Newton, Jackson , and George Woods ide and wife Wally Percy of St. Francisville; a sister, Lottie Harris, Marksville; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. Woods ide; and a son-in-law, Ralph E. Quinn. Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.

ACOSTA, WILBERT JOSEPH
A retired heavy duty operator at Kaiser Aluminum and resident of St. Amant, he died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 75 and a native of Garyville. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Visiting was at Welsh Funeral Home, Gonzales, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday. Visiting at Holy Rosary Catholic Church from 8:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Saturday, celebrated by the Rev. Bob Stein. Entombment in church mausoleum. Survived by his wife, Dolores M. Acosta of St. Amant; a daughter and son-in-law, Donna A. and Pat Billingsley of Sorrento; two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Scharlene Acosta of Frost and Gerald "Jerry" and June Acosta of Galvez; a sister, Loretta Acosta of St. Amant; three brothers, Gilbert Acosta of St. Amant, Haines Acosta of French Settlement and Murphy Acosta of Head of Island; three stepdaughters, Delina Schexnayder of Walker, Gwen Himel of St. Amant and Melissa Frederic of St. Amant; a stepson, Mark Sheets of New Jersey; nine grandchildren, Laurie A. Thompson, Susie A. Letulle, Roger Acosta Jr., Troy and Terry Acosta, Tammy A. Brock, Eric, Chet and Amy Billingsley; seven stepgrandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred Joseph and Lillian Villneurve Acosta; first wife, Verna Mire Acosta; a sister, Loritta Acosta; a brother, Noah Acosta; and a granddaughter, Mary Acosta. He was active in many church activities. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus No. 6389. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holy Rosary Catholic Church Building Fund or Bishop Ott Shelter for the Homeless.

CORMIER, WALTER MARK
A resident of Denham Springs, he died at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. He was 19 and a native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 8 a.m. until religious services at 3 p.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Don Gauthier. interment in Evergreen Memorial Park, Denham Springs. Survived by his mother, Virginia Louise White ; father, Charles Glenn Cormier; three sisters, Dannielle Renee Adair, Melakeshia Delaine Cormier and Madaria Collette Cormier; a brother, Samuel Wayne Cook; maternal grandmother, Estelle White ; paternal grandparents, Sarah and Ivan Cormier; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Walter White . Pallbearers will be Jacob Hession, Scott Hession, Eric Gautreau, Jon Schryder, Samuel Cook and Brandon Rashall. CURTIS, AGNES DUROCHER
A homemaker and a resident of Prairieville, she died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, at Lakewood Quarters. She was 79. Religious services at St. George Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m. Saturday. interment in Resthaven Gar-dens of Memory. Survived by a daughter, Mary Agnes Santella Mack-Jean-sonne and husband Bill Jeansonne, Baton Rouge; a brother, Edmond Joseph Durocher, Franklin; three sisters, Anna Lee Charpentier, Baldwin, Hilda May Edmjaston, Shreveport, and Ruby Dupre, Port Neches, Texas ; and two grandchildren, Jerri Mari Mack, Baton Rouge, and Christopher Allen Mack, College Station, Texas . Preceded in death by her husband, James Samuel Curtis; parents, Bridget Hebert Duroucher and Adolph Durocher Sr.; and two brothers, Robert Durocher and Adolph Durocher Jr. Pallbearers will be Bill Jeansonne, Adam Dupuy, Don Hogan, David Montagnino, Eric Warthern and Honoré Chelette. DUESLER, DONALD CHARLES
A retired CLECO Electric Co. employee, with 16 years of service, and a resident of Zachary, he died at 10:40 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2001, at his residence. He was 63 and a native of Utica, N.Y. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. Visiting at Charlet Funeral Home Inc., Zachary, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Visitation at LaVille Funeral Home, Ville Platte, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Monday. interment in Turkey Creek Cemetery. Survived by his wife, Opal Von Smith Duesler of Zachary; a stepson, W.D. "Darrell" Johnson of Zachary; two sisters, six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a son, Glenn Johnson . He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Pride, La., Ward. FEAZEL, JARRED
Age 22, born Aug. 8, 1979, he died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001, in an automobile accident in Baton Rouge. He was a 1997 honors graduate of St. Amant High School and a junior in construction management at LSU. He was a specialist, Char-lie Co., 769th engineering batallion combat heavy of the Louisiana Army National Guard, headquartered in Gonzales. Survived by his parents, William and Susan Savoy Feazel; and a sister, Leia Jean Feazel, all of Prairieville; maternal grandparents, John Sr. and Laura Savoy, St. Amant; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, who loved and will miss him. Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Herman and Lois Feazel, who were of Alexandria; and an aunt, Sharon Savoy. He was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church, Gonzales. Visiting was at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. Visiting at St. Mark Catholic Church from 8:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. He will be laid to rest at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery, St. Amant.

FRESINA, DOMINICK T.
A retired technician with Exxon Co. USA, with 33 years of service, and a resident of Zachary, he died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, at Lane Memorial Hospital, Zachary. He was 82. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Visiting was at Welsh Funeral Home, 6700 Florida Blvd., from 9 a.m. until religious services at 3 p.m. Friday. interment was in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by his wife, Margaret Arone Fresina; two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Lee Fresina and Elmer Buhler, and Virginia Fresina Butitta; two sons, Buddy Fresina and girlfriend Lorraine, and Mike Fresina and wife Lisa; four stepchildren and spouses, Linda and Sid Bonaccorso, Susan and Dean McMorris, Joanie and Pat Sanford and Joe and Angie Arnone; 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, 11 stepgrandchildren, eight stepgreat-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his first wife, Connie Klingman Fresina; a great-grandchild, four brothers and four sisters. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews. He enjoyed fishing and camping and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

JONES, SR. ROBERT L. "BOBBY"
A longtime resident of Baton Rouge, he died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001, at 11:30 a.m. He was 75, born Dec. 18, 1925, in Farmington, Iowa, and was raised in Vandalia, Ill. He was a retired general superintendent for McDermott International and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Memorial services at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 865 Hatchell Lane, Denham Springs, 665-5359, at 11 a.m. Saturday. Survived by his wife, Audrey Glynn Jones; son and daughter-in-law, Robby and Deidre Jones; a daughter and son-in-law, Jerry and Rodney Salario; four grandchildren, Ashley and Derrick Salario and Kristen and Keaton Jones; two sisters, Beulah Pruett and Velma Leith; a brother, Cecil Jones Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Preceded in death by his parents, Cecil David Jones and Grace Jones; and a brother, William David Jones. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. His wishes were to have his body donated to LSU Medical Center for research so that future doctors can learn from him. LAFEBVRE, LUCILLE SIMONEAUX
A homemaker and doctor's assistant, she died at 9:45 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001, at River West Medical Center. She was 81, a native of Paincourtville and resident of Plaquemine. Visiting at St. John the Evangelist Cath-olic Church, Plaquemine, from 10 a.m. Monday until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., celebrated by the Rev. Joe Camilleri. interment in Grace Memorial Park. Survived by three sisters and a brother-in-law, Mae Navarre, Plaquemine, Marion and Douglas Flatau, Plaquemine, and Mary "Bootie" Tamplain, Donaldsonville; a brother and sister-in-law, George and Alvine "Baye" Simoneaux, Baton Rouge; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, John Malcom "Blackie" Lefebvre; parents, Henry and Stella Oufnac Simoneaux; and two brothers, Herbert and Lloyd J. Simoneaux. MARTELLO, JR. PAUL RAYMOND
A resident of Denham Springs, he died at 11 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 54 and a native of Baton Rouge. Visiting was at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. Visiting at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev.
