An attorney and a resident of Baker, he died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000. He was 48 and a native of River Ridge. Survived by his mother and father, Berenice Hautau and Alwynn J. Cronvich; a son, A. Kyle Cronvich; a sister, Karen C. Zimmer, Los Angeles; and a brother, Fred L. Cronvich, Kiln, Miss. He was a graduate of Archbishop Rummel High School in New Orleans, the University of Southwestern Louisiana and LSU Law School. New Southside Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

CRONVICH, ALWYNN LEE
A lawyer, he died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 48, the son of Berenice Hautau and Alwynn J. Cronvich. He is survived by his son, Kyle; a brother, Fred L. Cronvich, Kiln, Miss.; and a sister, Karen C. Zimmer, Los Angeles. He graduated from Archbishop Rummel High School, University of Southwestern Louisiana and LSU Law School. He was a member of the Louisiana Bar Association and Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association. He was a board member of the Fireman's Charitable and Benevolent Association of New Orleans. Cryptside services at All Saints Mausoleum in Metairie Cemetery, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, at 2:30 p.m. Friday. Visitation at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 5657 Thomas Road, Baker, from 11:30 a.m. until memorial Mass at 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Memorial donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated. DARENSBOURG, PAUL WAYNE
A first lieutenant in the U.S. Army Medical Corps and a resident of Kaneohe, Hawaii, he died Friday, Nov. 24, 2000, in Hawaii. He was 29 and a native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at St. Thomas More Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Gerard Martin. interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by his parents, Wayne and Maxine Darensbourg. Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph E. Darensbourg Sr. and Norma Verette Darensbourg; and maternal grandparents, Louis Maxie and Mildred Sigur Ricard. Greenoaks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

DOSS, JR. JAMES T.
A retired supervisor with AT&T Technologies Electronic Switching Systems with 33 years of service, he died at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 70, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of New Orleans. He was a corpsman in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and a survivor of the Chosin Reservoir. Visiting was at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday. Visiting at the funeral home chapel from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Ron Tyndall and the Rev. Wayne Dubose. interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his wife of 44 years, Sarah A. Doss, Baton Rouge; mother, Emily Jackson Romagoz, Terrytown; a son and daughter-in-law, James A. and Darlene Doss, Baton Rouge; a sister and brother-in-law, Betty Lou and Lawrence Larocca, Thibodaux; a brother and a sister-in-law, Harold C. and Dee Doss, Picayune, Miss.; and three grandchildren, Grayson A., Melissa D. and Joshua B. DRUMMOND, JIMMY L. "BULLDOG"
A maintenance department employee of Crown Vantage Paper Mill, St. Francisville, for 30 years and a resident of Baker, he died about 4:35 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000, at Lane Memorial Hospital, Zachary. He was 62 and a native of Aliceville, Ala. Visiting was at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday. Visiting in the funeral home chapel from 10 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Murray Tannehill. interment in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Survived by his wife, Ruby H. Drummond, Baker; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Freddie Prescott and Mary and Mike Farris, all of Baker, and Kay and Bo Williamson, Watson; eight grandchildren, Elisha and Jamie Prescott, Jimmy, Jesse and Whitney Farris and Michael, Chad and Darren Williamson; and a great-granddaughter, Katelyn Farris. Preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Lee Drummond II. He was a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local 198.

GREMILLION IV, CHARLES CLINTON "T-BO"
A resident of the Louisiana Special Education Center, Alexandria, he died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000. He was 21, born May 24, 1979, and a native of Erwinville. GRIFFIN, MARY P.
A retired hotel custodian and a resident of Darrow, she died at 6:10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 23, 2000, at her home in Darrow. She was 70 and a native of Central. Visiting at Zion Travelers Baptist Church, Convent, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. Religious services at the church at 2 p.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Ronald Coleman. interment in church cemetery. Survived by a stepdaughter, Connie Valentine; a sister, Ollie Hamilton; a devoted friend, George Davis Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Griffin; and parents. She was a deaconess with Zion Travelers Baptist Church. Lawson-Rollins Purple Shield Funeral Home, Gonzales, in charge of arrangements.

HAMILTON, HENRIETTA EDNA
A resident of Denham Springs, she died at 8:25 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000, at her home. She was 60 and a native of Lake Charles. Religious services at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, at 10 a.m. Saturday. Survived by her husband, William Edmond Hamilton; two daughters, Shawn Rene Knight and Tammie Celeste Kiddy; a son, Alan Craig Knight; two sisters, Marcia M.C. Mayard and Alma M. Bennett; a brother, Charles Mehciz; 16 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Preceded in death by her parents. HEE CHUNG, LENA MAE TAYLOR "MICKEY"
A resident and native of Clinton, she died at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, 2000, at Earl K. Long Medical Center. She was 51. She was a U.S. Army veteran and attained the rank of sergeant first class. Visiting at Richardson Funeral Home, Clinton, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. Religious services at Days Chapel AME Church at 1 p.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Willie L. Brumfield. interment in church cemetery. Survived by her mother, Lizzie M. Taylor , Clinton; two goddaughters, Shamita S. Robins and Damita J. Robins, both of Baton Rouge; four sisters, Cynthia M. Taylor , Clinton, Carolyn F. Robins, Helen M. Taylor and Carolyn Taylor , all of Baton Rouge; three brothers, Micheal Taylor , Clinton, and Roosevelt Taylor and Sterling Taylor , both of Baton Rouge; and special and devoted niece and nephew, Malena Taylor , Baton Rouge, and Jonathan Davis, Clinton. Preceded in death by her father, Freeman Muse; maternal grandparents, David and Lizzie Wren Taylor ; and paternal grandparents, Billy and Lelia Muse.

HILLEN, HERMAN
A retired employee of Exxon Co. USA and a resident of Baker, he died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, at Lane Memorial Hospital, Zachary. He was born Dec. 6, 1910, in New Albany, Ind. Visiting was at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday. Visiting in the funeral home chapel from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. B.K. Miller and a grandson, the Rev. Randy Goudeau. interment in Roselawn Memorial Park. Survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Gloria Hillen Moore and Beverly and William Gullett, all of Zachary; two sons and three daughters-in-law, Dempsey and Lucille Hillen of Ethel, Richard and Alison Hillen of Zachary, and Mary Gouedy Hillen of Walker; a sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Bremen Burch, Zachary; a brother-in-law, Richard Watson Sr., Baton Rouge; 20 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by first wife, Alberta "Bill" Boyd Hillen; second wife, Frances Combs Ivers Hillen; a son, Edward Homer "Eddie" Hillen; a stepdaughter, Kay Ivers Bourgoyne; parents, Frank and Caroline Hillen; two brothers, Frank and Eddie Hillen; three sisters, Mary Hill, Eva Alesce and Libby Watson; and a great-grandson, Adamo Mucciacciaro. HOLLINS, FRANCES "FEAN"
A resident of Baton Rouge, she died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She was 78 and a native of Erwinville. Religious services at Mount Zion Baptist Church, Baton Rouge, at noon Saturday, conducted by the Rev. George Pierce. interment in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, Erwinville. Survived by a daughter, Minerva Allen- Johnson ; two sons, Earl and Alfred Hollins; a brother, Herbert Lang; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Freddie.

HORNSBY, HELEN AUGUSTA WALLACE
A devoted wife and mother and a retired educator from Denham Springs High School whose legacy remains of the numerous students whose lives she touched, she died at 9:40 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, 2000, at her home in Denham Springs. She was 86 and a native of Kentwood. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday. Visiting in the funeral home chapel from 11 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Sunday, conducted by the Rev. Danny Henderson and the Rev. Survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Vicky and Sonny Cutrer, Baton Rouge, Sylvia and Jimmy Dunn, Covington, and Elizabeth and Tim Smith, Denham Springs; a son and daughter-in-law, Grady and Terri Hornsby, Baton Rouge; nine grandchildren, Chivas James, Jamey Dunn, Stephen Dunn, Clay Smith, Sarah Springfield, Ben Smith, Laurin Hornsby, Charlie Hornsby and Lynda Hornsby; three stepgrandchildren, Christin, Jarrell and Terryn Fudickar; five great-grandchildren, Austin and Madison Eupora Dunn, Jonathan Grady and Kaitlyn Smith, and Hunter James; and a companion for many years, Minnie Bordelon. JENNINGS, CHARLES ARTHUR
Retired from U.S. Steel in Baytown, Texas , after 33 years of service and a resident of Crosby, Texas , he died at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital, Baytown. He was 67 and a native of Baywood. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean conflict. Visiting was at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday. Visiting in the funeral home chapel from 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Friday, conducted by Dr. Bobby R. Smith. interment in South Union Cemetery, Baywood. Survived by his wife of 48 years, Margaret Peterson Jennings, Crosby; two daughters, Sherry Ann Temple, Baytown, and Merry Anne Gamblin, DeRidder; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Gary Wayne and Deanna Jennings, Baytown, Thad Allen and Patti Jennings, Mount Belvieu, Texas , and Brad Lee Jennings, Baytown; a sister, Wilma Vicknair, Denham Springs; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Thad and Myrtle Jennings, Watson, and Edgar "Allen" Jennings Jr. and Cary and Joyce Jennings, all of Denham Springs; 17 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Robert Wamsher, Carson, Calif.; two sisters-in-law, LaVerne Jennings, Missouri, and Rita Jennings, Denham Springs; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was a devoted husband and father who enjoyed his family and his grandchildren. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed guitar playing, hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a very helpful individual who was always willing to extend a helping hand to whoever needed it. His big smile and joking personality will be greatly missed.

KERNION, (INFANT) MEREDITH CRYSTAL
Born May 4, 1999, she went to be God's little angel at 3:20 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, 2000, after a courageous battle with cancer. Her wonderful smile and beautiful blue eyes will be remembered by all. She was 18 months old and a resident of Marietta, Ga. She is survived by her parents, Chris Kernion and Jill Graffeo Kernion, Marietta; maternal grandparents, Kennith and Anne Graffeo, Baton Rouge; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Charlene Kernion, Anniston, Ala.; a sister, Breann Kernion, Marietta; two great-grandmothers, Vivian Nettleton, New Orleans, and Bobbie Potts, Kentwood; and loving aunts, uncles and cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Children's Wish Foundation, P.O. Box 28785, Atlanta, GA 30358, or Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. The family expresses thanks and appreciation to the doctors and staff at Children's Health Care of Atlanta for their care and support during her illness.
