She was 66, a native of Bayou Goula and a former resident of the Greater New Orleans area for 46 years. Visiting at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday. Visiting at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church, 10021 Jefferson Highway, River Ridge, from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Tuesday. interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Metairie. Survived by her husband, William C. Siegel; four daughters, Carlin Siegel Beckman, Evansville, Ind., Sharon Siegel, Knoxville, Tenn., Jill Siegel, Harrisonburg, Va., and Kimberly Siegel Barré, Austin, Texas ; a son, Brian Siegel, Warsaw, Mo.; three sisters, Marie Troxclair, Plaquemine, Mabel Troxclair Gaspard, New Iberia, and Laurence Troxclair, Baton Rouge; four brothers, Alvin Troxclair and Roland Troxclair, both of Bayou Goula, and Donald Troxclair and Laurent Troxclair, both of Baton Rouge; and five grandchildren. She was a graduate of Charity Hospital of Nursing and was a former registered nurse with Ochsner Foundation Hospital. She was a parishioner of St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church.

SMITH, DONALD PAUL
A resident of Denham Springs, he died Friday, June 16, 2000, at his home. He was 43 and a native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday. Graveside services at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Brookhaven, Miss., at 10 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Kent Cochran. Survived by a sister and a nephew.

ALLEN, LUCILLE DOTSON
A homemaker and resident and native of Baton Rouge, she died at 4:12 a.m. Sunday, May 7, 2000. She was 92. Visiting at Desselle Funeral Home from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Religious services at Second Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Leo D. Cyrus. interment in Rose-lawn Memorial Park. Survived by five daughters, Mable Taylor , Lucille B. Allen, Mary L. Houston and Lizzie West, all of Baton Rouge, and Pearl Taylor , Detroit; three sons, Henry Allen Jr., Norfolk, Va., and Charles Islam and James Allen, both of Baton Rouge; 44 grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Preceded in death by her parents, Ike and Charlotte Dotson; two brothers and a sister.

BAILEY, LUCILLE BROWDER "SISTER"
A native and resident of St. Francisville, she died Thursday, May 4, 2000, at her home. She was 87. Visiting at Miller & Daughter Mortuary, Zachary, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. Religious services at Greater New Canaan Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. John H. Emery. interment in church cemetery. Survived by five daughters and four sons-in-law, Emily B. and Charles Cavalier, St. Francisville, Margaret B. and Huey Million, Mary B. and George McPipe, all of Baton Rouge, Gloria B. and James Patterson and Rosanell Bailey, all of New Orleans; five sons and four daughters-in-law, Zedrick Bailey Jr. and Elvin and Thelma Bailey, all of Baton Rouge, Frank and Marilyn Bailey and the Rev. James and Dorothy Bailey, all of New Orleans, and Leon and Suzie Bailey, St. Francisville; 50 grand-children, including Alicia Hamilton, Darrow, and Ophelia Million, St. Francisville, whom she reared; 34 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a sister, Margaret Jenkins, New Orleans; a brother, the Rev. Frink Browder Sr., Baton Rouge; and four sisters-in-law, Elnora Browder, Baton Rouge, Eleveyn Browder, Emily Price and Louise Cummings, all of New Orleans. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Mamie Johnson Browder; husband, Zedrick Bailey Sr.; two grandchildren; and three brothers.

BOURGOYNE, SR. SIBBY JOSEPH
A resident and native of Plaquemine, he died Wednesday, May 10, 2000, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. He was 85 and a former resident of White Castle. Arrangements are pending at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine.

BOWIE, ANNIE LEE MURRAY
A seamstress and resident and native of Baton Rouge, she died at 8:15 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2000, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She was 65. Visiting at Winnfield Funeral Home from 10 a.m. Friday until religious services at noon, conducted by the Rev. Ar-thur G. Murray. interment in Southern Memorial Gardens. Survived by her husband, Roy D. Bowie; mother, Martha C. Sullivan; two daughters, Jackie Murray Arthur and English M. Murray; six sons, David H. Murray, the Rev. Arthur G. Murray, Paris W. Murray, Therodore B. Murray and Charlie Talbert III, all of Baton Rouge, and Albert D. Murray of North Carolina; a stepson and eight stepdaughters; a sister, Ruby D. Grice; four brothers, Iley D. Dotch, Joe Louis Dotch and Reggie and Telfrey Gaines; four daughters-in-law, Paula H. Murray, Annie L.B. Murray, Phlenda Lathan and Carol Murray; an aunt, Josephine M. Netter; 27 grand-children, 14 great-grandchildren, eight sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her father, Henry L. Murray; stepfather, stepmother, a sister and two brothers.

COLEMAN, RAOUL C.
A medical technologist at LSU Earl K. Long Medical Center and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died Sunday, May 7, 2000, at the center. He was 34 and a former resident of Vidalia. Religious services at Young’s Chapel Baptist Church, Vidalia, at 11 a.m. Saturday. interment in Vidalia Cemetery. Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday, in charge of arrangements.

CUREAU, OLIVIA PAYNE
A native and resident of Lutcher, she died at 9:15 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2000, at St. James Hospital, Lutcher. She was 90. Visiting at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulina, from 9:30 a.m. Friday until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., celebrated by the Rev. Frank Uter. Burial in church cemetery. Survived by a son, Kenneth Cureau Sr., Lutcher; four sisters, Daisy Morgan and Dora Ford, both of New Orleans, Gertrude Oubre, Vacherie, and Florence Payne, Lutcher; three grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Frank Payne and Elizabeth Brown Payne; two sisters, Melvina Hall and Sarah Tureaud; four brothers, Louis, Aaron, George and Daniel Payne; and her husband, Ernest Cureau. Brazier-Watson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

FENTON, L. B.
A retired pipeline heavy equipment operator and member of Local 406, he died at 7:20 a.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2000, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. He was 73, a resident of Addis and a native of Cushing, Texas . He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Visiting at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and after 8 a.m. Saturday. Religious services at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Eric Gyan. interment in Grace Memorial Park. Survived by his wife, Ilse Riedé Fenton, Addis; a daughter and son-in-law, Eveline and Gerald Ferguson, Pennsylvania ; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffery and Liz Fenton and Stanley and Lisa Fenton, all of Addis; two sisters, Faye Smelley and Jessie Williams, both of Cushing; and four grandchildren, Sherry Lynn O’Hara, Michael Graferman, Michael Fenton and Matthew Fenton. Preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Freddie and Elmer Fenton. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 167, Plaquemine. The family requests memorial donations to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.

A resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Purvis, Miss., she died at 4:50 a.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2000, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. Visiting was at Hollabaugh Spindle Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Visiting at the funeral home chapel from 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Chris Maynard. interment in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survived by a daughter, Ginger Foster, Baton Rouge; a son, Van K. Foster, Baton Rouge; a sister, Voncile Whiteside, Baker; a brother, Luther Nelson, Sicily Island; five grandchildren, Wendi Barbari Loup, Karla Ann Barbari, Shannon Foster and Brittany Foster, all of Baton Rouge, and Chuck Barbari, Austin, Texas ; and three great-grandchildren.

GUILLORY, ROLAND "RON"
A devoted husband and father and a sales representative for Master Mix Concrete, he journeyed into the kingdom of our Lord at 2:05 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2000, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet after a brief illness. He was 53, a resident of Port Allen and a native of Ville Platte. Visiting at Wilbert Funeral Home, Port Allen, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Brusly, at 10 a.m. Friday, celebrated by the Rev. Eric Gyan. Entombment in church mausoleum. He is survived by and will be sadly missed by his wife of 26 years, Janice Morse Guillory; a daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Robin Hall of Baton Rouge; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Sherry Guillory of Jackson ; sons, Christopher Guillory of Baton Rouge and Ryan Guillory and Kevin Guillory, both of Port Allen; four grandchildren, David Jr. and Dirk Guillory and Casey and Cody Voorhies; mother and stepfather, Clamie and Lamar Golmon of Jackson ; brothers, Joseph Guillory and Norman Guillory, both of Jackson , and Robert Guillory of Livonia; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Emily Newchurch and Ed-ward Morse of Port Allen; a sister-in-law, Brenda Morse of Port Allen; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his father, Joseph I. Guillory; brothers, Harold Guillory and Floyd Guillory; maternal grandparents, Theresa and Ferdinand Fontenot; and paternal grandparents, Rosa and Tennyson Guillory. HECK, PAUL ANTHONY
At age 42, he Passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Houston on Sunday, May 7, 2000. Born in Baton Rouge, he had lived in Houston for 20 years. He was supervisor of service with United Computing Co. He was preceded in death by his father, Professor Robert Warren Heck, who lived in Baton Rouge. He is survived by his son, Paul A. Heck Jr. of Houston; mother, Evelyn M. Heck of Baton Rouge; a brother, Robert Gregory Heck of Dallas; and a sister, Catherine Heck McGough of Plano, Texas . Pallbearers will be Lee Hammett, Gene Cabral, Scott McCoy, Byron Jolley, Wil Calhoun and Dudley Jenkins. The family will receive friends at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 10:10 a.m. Friday. The funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Cathedral at 10:30 a.m. Friday, celebrated by the Rev. Jerry Young. interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park.

HICKS, BARBARA JEAN
A clerk for the U.S. Postal Service and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died Monday, May 8, 2000, at Summit Hospital. She was 45 and a native of Vicksburg, Miss. Visiting at Greater King David Baptist Church Inner City Ministries, 7305 Harry Drive, from 8:30 a.m. Saturday until religious services at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. John Montgomery. interment in City Cemetery, Vicksburg. Survived by her mother, Mary L. Hicks, Vicksburg; a son, Leonard A. Hicks, Baton Rouge; a granddaughter, Doinne M. Hicks, Baton Rouge; a sister, Francis L. Walker, Montgomery, Ala.; three brothers, Ronald E. Hicks, Dennis J. Hicks and Julius W. Hicks, all of Vicksburg; three friends, William Rooks of Dallas and Albert Walton Jr. and Robert Thompson, both of Baton Rouge; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. HOOVER, JIMMIE HARTMAN
A much-loved, respected and admired former LSU and East Baton Rouge Parish librarian, and a longtime Baton Rouge resident, he died after an unexpected illness on Saturday, April 1, 2000, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 13, 2000, at 3 p.m. at the Chapel on the Campus, 3355 Dalrymple Drive. Memorials may be made to the LSU Foundation for the Jimmie H. Hoover Memorial, SLIS, 3838 W. Lakeshore Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70803.
