SIDNEY J. THIBODEAUX
Sidney Joseph Thibodeaux, 80, a native and resident of Franklin, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, at Franklin Foundation Hospital.
He is survived by one daughter, Patricia T. Chauvin and her husband, Larry Paul, of Franklin; one sister, Dorothy Thibodeaux Lowe and her husband, Don, of Houston, Texas ; four grandchildren, Paul Chauvin and his wife, Willie, Lynn Chauvin and his wife, Chandra, Kiley Chauvin and Kristy Chauvin; and three great grandchildren, Justin Chauvin, Caitlyn Chauvin and Krissen Chauvin.
Mr. Thibodeaux was preceded in death by wife, Stella Jo Hebert Thibodeaux; one son, Larry Thibodeaux; father, Sylvain Thibodeaux; and mother, Lena Dugas Thibodeaux.
Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 19, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at St. Jules Catholic Church in Franklin.
Service will be Friday, at 10:30 a.m., at that church.
Fr. Thomas Vu will officiate.
interment will follow in the Franklin Cemetery.

LOIS TRIGGS
Lois Triggs, 79, a resident and native of Patterson, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2004, at 5:30 a.m., at her residence.
She is survived by one adopted daughter, Eula Guy of Patterson.
Mrs. Triggs was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Triggs; her mother, Leola Williams Branch and her father, Dave Branch.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the St. Luke Baptist Church in Patterson.
Funeral rites will be Saturday, at 1 p.m., at that church.
The Rev. Joseph Fields will officiate.
interment will follow in the Patterson Memorial Cemetery.
The Jones Funeral Home, Inc. of Morgan City is in charge of arrangements.
ALLEN RAY J. TRIMBLE
Allen Ray J. Trimble, 76, a native and lifelong resident of Franklin, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2003, at 10:15 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
Mr. Trimble is survived by his wife, Genevieve Ewing Trimble of Franklin: one son, Carl John Trimble of Mansfield; one daughter, Linda T. Raj of Slidell; one sister, Shirley Landry of Franklin: four grandchildren, Renee’ and John Trimble, and Nicole and Marc Raj; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Henry Trimble and Lucille Baudoin Trimble.
Mr. Trimble was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He was employed with Cabot for 36½ years.
He was a lifelong member of the VFW, as well as the Chaplain, and was a past Chaplain of the American Legion Post 63.
Visitation was held Sunday, Aug. 17, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin, with a rosary service at 7 p.m.
Visitation resumed Monday, Aug. 18 at 8 a.m. at the Church of the Assumption until service time.
A mass of Christian burial was held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Church.
Father Michael Russo officiated.
interment followed in the Franklin Cemetery.
Arrangements were entrusted to Ibert’s Mortuary of Franklin.
LORETTA E. YATES
Loretta Edwards Yates, 87, of DeQueen, formerly of Camden, Arkansas, died March 3, 2005 at DeQueen hospital.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, James (Jim) Yates; her parents, Claude and Jennie Edwards; and two sisters, Velma Burleigh and Eva Jones.
She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Wanda (Dee) Haskett and husband, James, of Sherman, Texas and Barbara Baudoin and husband, Lastie Jr., of Jeanerette; son, Gerald (Jerry) Yates and wife, Sue, of Terrell, Texas ; one sister, Neva Barron of Camden.
She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and one great great grandson, Carter Reynolds of DeQueen.
Her granddaughter, Beverly Reynolds and husband, Randy, of DeQueen have been her caregivers for the last four years.
She was a faithful member of the Cullendale Church of Christ for many years and had worshipped at the Church of Christ in Franklin for the past 17 years.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 5 at 11 a.m., in Greenwood Cemetery
with Bobby Newsom, minister of the Church of Christ in Franklin officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

GEORGIA MAE YEGGINS
Georgia Mae Yeggins, 76, a native of Franklin and resident of Beaumont, Texas , died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, at 10:45 a.m., at the Spring Creek Rehab Home in Beaumont.
She is survived by three grandchildren, Nakia Renee Yeggins, La’Keidra and Anitra Monique Yeggins, all of Franklin; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 5, at 1 p.m., at the Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Beaumont.
The Proctor Mortuary of Beaumont, Texas is in charge of arrangements.
