Kerman LeBlanc Sr.
Loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather
A Mass for Kerman J. LeBlanc Sr., 71, will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with the Rev. Ken Broussard officiating. interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
A military graveside service will be conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1982.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., with a rosary service at 6:30 p.m., today and from 8 a.m. until the time of services on Monday at David Funeral Home.
A native of Jefferson Island and a resident of New Iberia, Mr. LeBlanc died at 3 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 15, 2003, at his residence.
He was married to the former Solange Armentor LeBlanc for 46 years, and worked in the oilfield as an oilfield service consultant. Mr. LeBlanc was a member of the Elite Water Patrol Unit of the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office. He loved riding his trike motorcycle and meeting with friends for coffee and visiting each morning. He also served in the U.S. Army.
The family would like to express its sincere appreciation to the nurses, doctors and staff of Hospice of Acadiana for the special care they provided: his caregiver and special friend, Lien Thi Do, his private sitters, Lena Hebert and Gloria Hanvey, and the terrific neighbors who were there when needed, Ricky and Sherry Mergist, Eula Darby, Son Huynh and Heather Brousard, as well as the staff of Lafayette General Hospital and Dauterive Rehabilitation Center.
He is survived by six sons, Manuel LeBlanc and his wife, Shawn, of Arlington, Texas , Kenneth LeBlanc , Kerman LeBlanc Jr. and his wife, Janet, and George LeBlanc and his wife, Becky, all of New Iberia, Perfice LeBlanc and his wife, Leslie, of Youngsville and Eric LeBlanc and his wife, Denise, of Delcambre; one daughter, Sally L. Abshire and her husband, Paul, of Union, Ky.; three sisters, Hilda L. Barrilleaux of Avery Island and Gloria L. Bonin and Cheryl L. Bonin, both of New Iberia; one brother, Wilton LeBlanc of New Iberia; 20 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mr. LeBlanc was preceded in death by his wife, Solange Armentor LeBlanc ; his father, Noelus LeBlanc ; his mother, Edith Bourque LeBlanc ; and his daughter-in-law, Betty R. LeBlanc .
Pallbearers are his six sons, Manuel, Kenneth, Perfice, Kerman, George and Eric LeBlanc .
Honorary pallbearers are his grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations are to be made in Mr. LeBlanc 's name to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston St., Lafayette, LA 70503.

Mary Lancon
DELCAMBRE - Services for Mary Lancon, 67, will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with the Rev. Herbert Bennerfield officiating. interment will be in Broussard Cemetery
in Bayou Petit Anse.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., with a rosary at 6 p.m., on Monday and from 8 a.m. until the time of services on Tuesday at Evangeline Funeral Home.
A native of New Iberia and resident of Delcambre, Mrs. Lancon died at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 15, 2003, at Iberia Medical Center.
She was a homemaker who truly enjoyed being with her family and friends. She had a passion for music and playing her guitar and singing. She also enjoyed playing bingo, cooking and fishing. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by four sons, Willie Gaudin and his wife, Judy, of Breaux Bridge, Kenneth Gaudin and his wife, Kellye, of New Iberia, Stephen Gaudin of California, and Tony Bailey Jr. and his wife, Tammy, of Lafayette; two daughters, Annette Runnels and her husband, Denton, of Broussard and Rose Ann Norris and her husband, Stanley Jr., of New Iberia; three brothers, Hansel, Nelton and Leslie Lancon, all of New Iberia; three sisters, Louella LeBlanc and Rose Breaux, both of New Iberia and Illa Mae Breaux of Woodville, Texas ; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. LeBlanc was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Lillian DeRouen Lancon; two sisters, Alberta Thibodeaux and Nell Arcement; and eight brothers, Willis, Clarence, Dudley, Dempsey, Mervin, Kenneth, William and Gertel Lancon.
Pallbearers will be Brandon, Shane, Justin and Rusty Gaudin, Robert Delcambre, Denton Runnels II and Tony Bailey III.
Honorary pallbearers will be Willie, Kenneth and Stephen Gaudin, Tony Bailey Jr. and Hansel, Nelton and Leslie Lancon.
Donations to the family to assist with expenses are appreciated.

Allen Ray Trimble
FRANKLIN - A Mass of Christian burial for Allen Ray J. Trimble, 76, will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday at the Church of the Assumption. interment will follow in Franklin Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a rosary service at 7 p.m., today at Ibert's Mortuary and from 8 a.m. until the time of services on Monday at the church.
A native and lifelong resident of Franklin, Mr. Trimble died at 10:15 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 15, 2003, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
Mr. Trimble was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was employed with Cabot for 36 and a half years. He was a lifelong member and chaplain of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, as well as past chaplain of American Legion Post 63.
He is survived by his wife, Genevieve Ewing Trimble of Franklin; one son, Carl John Trimble of Mansfield; one daughter, Linda T. Raj of Slidell; one sister, Shirley Landry of Franklin; four grandchildren, Rene/ and John Trimble and Nicole and Marc Raj; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Trimble was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Henry and Lucille Baudoin Trimble.

Glynn J. Loveless
CLEVELAND, TENN. - Private memorial services for Glynn Joseph Loveless, 46, will be conducted at a later date.
A resident of Cleveland, Tenn., Mr. Loveless died Thursday, Aug. 14, 2003, at a hospital.
He was a landscaper.
He is survived by two children, Zeth and Jayce Loveless, both of New Iberia; two brothers, Jeffery F. Loveless and his wife, Rosa, of New Iberia and Mark Loveless and his wife, Paula, of Baldwin; two sisters, Lynn John of New Iberia and Melanie Picard and her husband, Michael, of Jeanerette; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mr. Loveless was preceded in death by his parents Lester Hester and Mary Ann LeBlanc Loveless; and a brother, Corey James Loveless.

Leroy Broussard Sr.
FRANKLIN - Services for Leroy Phillip Broussard Sr., 76, will begin at 3 p.m. on Tuesday at Ibert's Mortuary. interment will follow in Franklin Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., with a rosary service at 2:45 p.m., at Ibert's Mortuary.
A native of Patoutville and resident of Franklin since 1941, Mr. Broussard died at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2003, at Franklin Foundation Hospital.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joyce Goulas Broussard of Franklin; one son, Phil Broussard and his wife, Diane, of Franklin; one daughter, Margaret B. Fain of Franklin; two sisters, Mary Lois Broussard of Franklin and Patsy Hebert of New Iberia; four granddaughters; two great-grandsons; and three great-granddaughters.
Mr. Broussard was preceded in death by his parents, August and Mary Meyers Broussard; and one brother, Wilson Broussard.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having served during World War II at the Panama Canal. He retired from Cabot after 35 years of service.

ST. MARTINVILLE - Services for Laurence Marie Resweber, 94, were conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville. interment was in St. Michael Cemetery.
Visitation was conducted from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, with a rosary at 8:30 p.m., and from 7 a.m. until the time of services on Saturday at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville.
A resident of St. Martinville, Mrs. Resweber died on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2003, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.

Carroll J. Bouillion
Friend to All
Services for Carroll "Gentle Ben" J. Bouillion, 62, will begin at 11 a.m. today at David Funeral Home Swan Chapel with Deacon Buddy Breaux officiating. interment will be in Holy Family Cemetery.
Visitation was observed Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m., and will continue today from 8 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
A native of Iberia Parish and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Bouillion died at 4:47 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, 2003, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Mr. Bouillion loved people and going to the casino and was a Saints fan. He was employed at D&B Boat Rental for more than 20 years.
He is survived by his companion, Lisa Vincent of New Iberia; his brother, Leffrey Renard of St. Martinville; four sisters, Georgie Johnson and Earline Farris, both of New Iberia, Verna Romero of Coteau and Lois Broussard; four Godchildren, Lonnie and Donnie Bouillion, Ridge Melancon and T.J. Coletti; his father and mother-in law, Richard and Shirley Vincent of Erath; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bouillion was preceded in death by his parents, Aliface and Ana Marie Bouillion; two brothers, Rivers and Preston Bouillion; and his stepmother, Beulah Steen Bouillion.
Pallbearers will be Troy Andrus Sr., Hector LeBlanc , Arthur Tassin, Larry and Leffrey Renard and Jessie Bouillion.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Melancon, Dean LeBlanc , Richard Vincent Jr., Benard Walker, Ronald Carol, Lonnie Bouillion and Butch Colletti.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family for funeral expenses in lieu of flowers.
