Pierre G. Crochet Sr.

LOREAUVILLE - Services for Pierre Guilbert Crochet Sr., 63, will begin at 1 p.m. today at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Rev. Charles Thevis officiating. interment will be in the All Saints Cemetery.

Visitation will be at David Mortuary until the time of services today.

A native of Loreauville, Mr. Crochet died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, 1997, at Lafayette General Hospital.

He was a carpenter.

Mr. Crochet is survived by his wife, Gertrude Chataignier Crochet of Loreauville; three sons, Perry James Crochet, Tommy Jude Crochet and Pierre Guilbert "Peter" Crochet Jr., all of Loreauville; three daughters, Theresa Ann Broussard of Coteau Holmes, Susan Melancon and Gail Ann Robin, both of Loreauville; three brothers, Elie Crochet of New Iberia, Herman Crochet of Franklin and Paul Crochet of Loreauville; five sisters, Anna Mae Breaux of Loreauville, Elizabeth Younger of Baton Rouge, Shirley Migues, Elvidge Rivet and Mary Theriot, all of Franklin; and 18 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Guilbert and Elizabeth Dupre Crochet; one son, Steve Albert Crochet Sr.; three brothers, Murphy Crochet, Edward Crochet Sr. and Emmet Crochet Sr.; and one grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Pierre "Peter" Crochet Jr., Perry Crochet, Rocky Steven Crochet, Tommy Crochet, Larry Melancon Jr. and Danny Robin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Boudreaux, Elie Crochet, Herman Crochet and Paul Crochet.

The David Mortuary of Loreauville is in charge of arrangements.

Laura A. Girouard

A Mass of Christian Burial for Laura Anne Girouard, 71, the former Laura Anne Berthelot was held today at 10 a.m. at Martin and Castille Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J. Douglas Courville, pastor of the St. Jules Catholic Church, officiating. Mrs. Jodi M. Bollich, organist sang "On Eagle's Wings," "Here I Am Lord," "I Know That My Redeemer Lives" and "Peace in the Valley." interment was in the Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.

A native of St. Martin Parish and resident of Lafayette for 46 years, Mrs. Girouard died at 5:40 a.m. Saturday, 27, 1997, at the Lady of the Oaks Nursing Home.

She was an avid bowler and a member of the St. Jules Catholic Community.

Mrs. Girouard is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, C.J. Girouard Jr. and Cheryl of Scott, Alvin Girouard and Carolyn and Emile Girouard, all of Lafayette, and Glen Girouard of Duson; three daughters and sons-in-law, Beatrice and Roger Gothreaux, Dianne and Mike McGuirk and Flo and Russell Guidry, all of Lafayette; three brothers, Paul Berthelot and spouse Anna, and David Berthelot and spouse Gladys, all of Lafayette, and Gene Berthelot of Forked Island; one sister, Mrs. Semay Henry and spouse Gilbert of LaPlace; 16 grandchildren, Valerie Bratcher and spouse, Wesley, Van Gothreaux, Vanessa Gotheraux, Nathan Girouard, Crystal Girouard, Kim Girouard, Jeremy Clostio, Chris Clostio, Amy Girouard, Toma Girouard, Krysten Girouard, Don Girouard and his spouse, Melissa, Ryan Simon, Bobby Guidry, Anthony Girouard and Desire Girouard; four great-grandchildren, Emily Bratcher, Grant Bratcher, Nate Girouard and Thorn Girouard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence J. Girouard; her parents, Jean Batiste and Evelyn Albert Berthelot; one brother, A.A. "Toto" Berthelot; and one sister, Levee Broussard.

Pallbearers were C.J. Girouard Jr., Alvin Girouard, Emile Girouard, Glen Girouard, Roger Gothreaux, Mike McGuirk and Russell Guidry.

The Martin and Castille Funeral Home of Lafayette was in charge of arrangements.

Bounpheng Payne Keosaysonh

Services for Bounpheng Payne Keosaysonh, 25, will begin at 9 a.m. Sunday at Evangeline Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be held today from 1 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, which will reopen Sunday at 8 a.m. until the time of services.

A native of Vientiane, Laos, and resident of Ringgold, Ga., Mr. Keosaysonh died at 12:16 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 1997 in Ringgold.

He was a 1991 graduate of New Iberia Senior High School. Following graduation, Mr. Keosaysonh attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana (USL) for three years. He was employed with a textile company in Ringgold.

He is survived by his parents, Phonang and Khambay Panvilay Keosaysonh, both of New Iberia; one brother, Amphay Keosaysonh of Ringgold; two sisters, Khounmany Keosaysonh of Ringgold and Khounmy Keosaysonh of New Iberia; his paternal grandmother, Loune Oudomrath of New Iberia; and his maternal grandmother, Bo Panvilay of New Iberia.

Mr. Keosaysonh was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Khamxay Oudomrath; and his maternal grandfather, Nouy Panvilay.

The Evangeline Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.

Ricky P. Faucheaux

LOREAUVILLE - Services for Ricky Paul Faucheaux, 42, will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Rev. Charles Thevis officiating. interment will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:30-10 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. rosary at David Mortuary in Loreauville, which will reopen at 8 a.m. Wednesday.

A native of New Iberia, Mr. Faucheaux died at 7:48 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, 1997, at Iberia Medical Center.

He was a Cursillo Brother, a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4676 and employed with Teche Electric Coop.

Mr. Faucheaux is survived by his wife, Melanie "Poulette" Faucheaux of Loreauville; his parents, Roy and Louella Leblanc Faucheaux of New Iberia; two sons, Blair Faucheaux and Brandon Faucheaux, both of Loreauville; one daughter, Bevon Faucheaux of Loreauville; two brothers, Danny Faucheaux and Tommy Faucheaux, both of New Iberia; and two sisters, Robin Faucheaux of Lafayette and Wanda Faucheaux of New Iberia.

Pallbearers will be Shane Faucheaux, Alton Albert, Ricky Albert, Danny Faucheaux, Sean Faucheaux, Tommy Faucheaux and Lenny Vaughn.

Honorary pallbearers will be Micky Suire, Mike Suire and employees of Teche Electric Coop.

The David Mortuary of Loreauville is in charge of arrangements.

Horace P. Dore'

KATY, Texas - Services for Horace Peter Dore', 61, will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church with the Rev. Alberto A. Maullon Jr. officiating. interment will be in the Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Dore' died Sunday, Sept. 28, 1997, at his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Dore' of Katy; his children, Michael J. Dore' of Scaly, Texas , Sandra Dore' of Alamo, Tenn., Amy and Michael Carr of Houston, Michelle Dore' and Elizabeth Dore' of Katy; one grandchild, Nicole Dore'; his mother, Aline Dore' of New Iberia; one brother, Ronald J. Dore' of Katy; one sister, Patricia Romero of New Iberia; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children, 6977 S. Main St., Houston, Texas , 77030.

Schmidt Funeral Home of Katy, Texas , is in charge of arrangements.

Whitney J. Segura

Services for Whitney J. Segura, 38, will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church with the Rev. Eric Groner officiating. interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 2:30 p.m. today, with a 7 p.m. rosary at David Mortuary which will remain open all night.

A native of Erath and resident of Pineville, Mr. Segura died Monday, Sept. 29, 1997, in Rapides Parish.

He was a truck driver.

Mr. Segura is survived by five brothers, Allen Segura, Etienne Segura, Jimmy Segura, John Segura and Nolan Segura, all of New Iberia; and two sisters, Susie Romero and Cevrlia Alleman, both of New Iberia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Etienne and Julie Touchet Segura Sr.

Pallbearers will be Allen Segura, Tony Alleman, Mitchell Romero, John Segura, Nolan Segura and Troy Segura.

The David Mortuary of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.

Debra A. Binion

Services for Debra Ann Binion, 39, the former Debra Ann Moses will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Genesis Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernest Davis officiating. interment will be in the Mount Zion No. 2 Baptist Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-10 p.m. Wednesday at Journet and Bolden Funeral Home Chapel, which will reopen from 7:30-9:30 a.m. Thursday.

A lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Binion died at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, 1997, at Columbia Dauterive Hospital.

She was a member of Genesis Missionary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Binion is survived by her husband, Henry Binion Sr. of New Iberia; one son, Henry Binion Jr. of New Iberia; one daughter, Monique Ann Binion of New Iberia; nine brothers, William Moses, Edward Moses, Albert Moses, Chester Moses, David Moses, Kevin Moses and Thomas Moses, all of New Iberia, Leonard Moses of Lafayette and Leroy Moses of Rockford, Ill.; and three sisters, Betty Moses, Linda Brown and Kelly Moses, all of New Iberia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Dorothy Knatt Moses Jr.; her paternal grandparents, Willie and Ethel Moses Sr.; and her maternal grandfather, Leonard Knatt.

Pallbearers will be the brothers of Mrs. Binion.

The Journet and Bolden Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.

Sidney J. Thibodeaux Jr.

Services for Sidney Joseph Thibodeaux Jr., 62, will begin at 2 p.m. today at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with the Rev. Paul Thibodeaux officiating. interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Evangeline Funeral Home until the time of services.

A native of New Iberia, Mr. Thibodeaux died at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, 1997, at his residence.

He was a self-employed truck driver, a veteran of the Army and the Louisiana Army National Guard.

Mr. Thibodeaux is survived by his wife, Marian Etie Thibodeaux of New Iberia; four sons, Robert Thibodeaux, Alvin Thibodeaux, Sidney J. Thibodeaux III and Mark Thibodeaux, all of New Iberia; two brothers, L.J. Thibodeaux and Charlie Thibodeaux, both of New Iberia; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney "Sauce" and Edith Romero Thibodeaux Sr.; one brother, Arthur Thibodeaux Sr.; his paternal grandparents, Robert and Arelia Breaux Thibodeaux; and his maternal grandparents, Aristille and Odelia Romero.

Pallbearers will be Robert Thibodeaux, Alvin Thibodeaux, Sidney Thibodeaux III, Mark Thibodeaux, Charlie Thibodeaux and Arthur Thibodeaux Jr.

The Evangeline Funeral Home Inc. of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
