Anita D. Breaux
Services for Anita D. Breaux, 101, will begin at 2 p.m. today at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church with the Rev. Charles Thevis officiating. interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be at David Mortuary until the time of services.
A native of Vermilion Parish and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Breaux died at 9:25 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 1997, at Columbia Dauterive Hospital.
She was a seamstress.
Mrs. Breaux is survived by one son, Minos J. Breaux of New Iberia; and three daughters, Eula Breaux Judice of Loreauville, Dilta Breaux Leblanc and Maud Breaux Viator, both of New Iberia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edrase Breaux; her parents, Homer and Amanda Trahan David; three sons, Edward Breaux, Jessie Breaux,and Wilson Breaux; two brothers, Clarence David and Claude David; and three sisters, Beleuh Broussard, Levie Trahan and Rena Viator.
Pallbearers will be James Lee Breaux, Randy Breaux, Glen Leblanc, Delian Viator, Michael Viator and Sonny Viator.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Babin, Lloyd Broussard, Keith Comeaux, Troy Comeaux, Howard Lepointe, Glen Pesson, Felton Trahan and Harold Trahan.
The David Mortuary of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
Antoinette Marie Jackson
Services for Antoinette Marie Jackson , 27, will begin at 8 p.m. today at Fletcher Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Morris Evans officiating. interment will be in the St. Paul Cemetery
at 10 a.m. Monday.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 10 p.m. today at the funeral home, which will reopen at 7 a.m. Monday until the time of dismissal.
A resident of New Iberia, Miss Jackson died Monday morning, Dec. 1, 1997, at her residence.
She is survived by her mother, Elaine Jackson of New Iberia; her father, Kenneth Lavine of Houston; her stepfather, Lloyd Brown of New Iberia; one son, Devon Jackson of New Iberia; one daughter, Frednika Jackson of New Iberia; one sister, Tina Jackson of New Iberia; an uncle, Rene Jackson of New Iberia; an aunt, Rose Bienvenu; her maternal grandparents, August and Helen Robertson of New Iberia; and her paternal grandmother, Lizzie Lavine of New Iberia.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Eugene Lavine.
Pallbearers will be Walter Bienvenu, Rene Jackson , Alfred Joseph, Ronald Batiste, Darrel Batiste and Troy Spencer.
Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Demouchet, Kenneth Lavine, Lloyd Brown and Quintin Jackson .

Shirley L. Guidry
Services for Mrs. Charles Guidry, 78, the former Shirley Landry, will begin at 2 p.m. Monday, at David Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Charles Thevis officiating. interment will be in the Holy Family Cemetery
in New Iberia.
Visitation will be from 2:30 to 10 p.m. Sunday, with a 7 p.m. rosary at the David Funeral Home of New Iberia, which will reopen 8 a.m. Monday until time of services. A 1 p.m. rosary service will be recited Monday by Patrick LeBlanc .
A native of Abbeville and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Guidry died at 8:35 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 1997, in a New Iberia nursing home. She was a housewife prior to her residency at the nursing home.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Guidry of New Iberia; a brother and sister-in-law, Lester and Marjorie P. Landry of New Iberia; a brother and sister-in-law, Preston and Sandy S. Landry of Metairie; a brother, Tony Landry of Mereaux; three grandchildren, Shannon and Sharon Grigsby and Larry LeBlanc Jr., all of Destrehan; a sister, Mary Lee Derouen of Violet; a sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Michael Kaufman of Braithwaite; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clodiase and Lidia Weekly Landry; her daughter, Genevieve David LeBlanc ; four brothers, Dores Landry, Harry Landry, Junius Landry and Paul "U.J." Landry; two grandchildren, Michael and Clifton Grigsby Jr.; and three sisters, Eva Dugas, Nerlina Quebodeaux and Maydrin Treadaway.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.

Betty E. Broughton
Services for Mrs. P.W. Broughton, 67, the former Betty Ellzey, will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Evangeline Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John H. Broussard officiating. interment will be in the Rosehill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. today at the funeral home, which will reopen at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
A native of Shawnee, Okla., former resident of New Iberia and resident of Lafayette for the past 17 years, Mrs. Broughton died at 3:01 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 1997, at Columbia Medical Center of the Southwest.
She was co-owner along with her husband of Broughton's Sporting Good and Grocery from 1960-1979. She then worked for Wal-Mart for five years until her retirement. Mrs. Broughton was a member of the First Apostolic Church of Lafayette, an active volunteer with Eagle Christian Academy and a volunteer at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by three sons, Benjamin Allen Broughton and John William Broughton, both of Lake Charles, and Lucian E. Broughton of New Iberia; five daughters, Peggy Broughton, Mary B. Easton and Molly B. Chriceol, all of Lafayette, Jane B. Maturin of New Iberia and Elizabeth B. Willis of St. Martinville; one brother, Lucian "Bill' Ellzey of Norman, Okla.; two sisters, Patsy Ansel of North Platte, Neb., and Helen Matherne of Houma; 32 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Broughton was preceded in death by her husband, P.W. Broughton; her parents, Lucian L. and Lena Robinson Ellzey; one son, Phillip "Mike' Broughton; and a sister, Mary Blanche Skinner.
Pallbearers will be Benjamin Broughton, John Broughton, Lucian Broughton, Phillip Chriceol, Jessie Broughton and David Wesley Broughton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Ellzey, Tommy Maturin and John Maturin.

Carolyn C. Rodrigue
Services for Mrs. Kenneth P. Rodrigue, 50, the former Carolyn Carline, will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Evangeline Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Drew Rousse officiating. Entombment will be in the St. Marcellus Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. today at the funeral home which will reopen at 9 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services.
A native of Websterville and a resident of New Iberia for five years, Mrs. Rodrigue died at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 1, 1997, at her residence.
She was a licensed florist.
Mrs. Rodrigue is survived by her husband, Kenneth P. Rodrigue of New Iberia; her father, Ivory Carline of Jeanerette; one daughter, Maria E. Rodrigue of New Iberia; one brother, Charles Carline of Jeanerette; and one sister, Inez Denoux of Thibodaux.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bernice Verret Carline.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Carline, Brian Carline, Jamie Carline, Troy Carline, Travis Carline and Bradley LeBouef.

Marie H. Broussard
ARNAUDVILLE - Services for Mrs. Wade Broussard, 90, the former Marie H. Willingham, will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Regis Catholic Church.
Visitation will be from 12-10 p.m. today with a 6:30 p.m. rosary at Melancon Funeral Home, which will reopen at 8 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services.
A native of New Orleans for 40 years and resident of Arnaudville, Mrs. Broussard died at 2:50 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, 1997, at Doctor's Hospital in Opelousas.
She was a parishioner of St. Francis Regis Catholic Church.
Mrs. Broussard is survived by one son, Milton Angelle of St. Martinville; and five grandchildren, Gloria Jean Angelle and Mrs. Thomas "Theresa Ann' Reno, both of St. Martinville, Linda Marie Angelle of New Iberia, Susan Faye Girard of Broussard, and Larry Angelle of Lafayette; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Broussard; her mother, Natlie Willingham; one son, Hermy J. Angelle; one brother, Albert Whitney; and one half-brother, Herman Whitney.

Valcour E. Leet Jr.
JEANERETTE - Services for Valcour Edwin Leet Jr., 68, will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Evangeline Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Hodnett officiating. interment will be in the St. John Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. today with a 6 p.m. rosary, until the time of services on Wednesday.
A native of Bayou Sara and resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Leet died at 6:02 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3, 1997, in a New Iberia hospital.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Leet was also a welder with Moveable Offshore and Columbia Sugar Mill.
He is survived by his wife, Enola Broussard Leet, of 50 years; two sons, Clyde Paul Leet of Cypremort Point and his wife, Anita Borel Leet, and Valcour "Sonny' E. Leet III of Jeanerette and his wife, Rhonda Landry Leet; three daughters, Miss Debbery "Debbie' Hebert and Mrs. Murphy (Carmen) Crochet Jr., both of Baldwin, and Mrs. Johnny (Enola) Pellerin of Jeanerette; one brother, Maxie Leet of Baker; two sisters, Mrs. Sam (Katherine) Rosa of Jackson and Miss Vivian Leet of Plaquemine; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 12 stepgrandchildren.
Mr. Leet was preceded in death by his parents, Valcour E. Leet Sr. and Mary Dedon Leet; two brothers, John Sewell Leet and Alfred Wade Leet; three sisters, Marie Neal, Mable Meal and Emma Worsham; and two great-grandchildren, Courtney Sons and Harley Sons.
Pallbearers will be Barrow Hebert Jr., Johnny Pellerin, Joseph Meyers, Murphy Crochet Jr., Euclide Babin and Chad Freeman.
Honorary pallbearers will be Valcour "Sonny' Leet III, Clyde Paul Leet, Sam Rosa, Jeffery Leet, Samuel Galetskas and Dane Venable.
