ERATH - Services for Mrs. Hebrard Perry, 86, the former Alice Hebert, will begin at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-10 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. rosary at David and Broussard Funeral Home, which will reopen at 8 a.m. Thursday.
A native of Vermilion Parish and resident of Abbeville, Mrs. Perry died at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 1998, at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Robert Blanchard
Services for Robert "ToBee" Blanchard, 73, will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with the Rev. Mike Guidry officiating. Entombment will be in the Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. rosary at Evangeline Funeral Home, which will remain open all night.
A native of Lafayette and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Blanchard died at 6:45 a.m. today, April 8, 1998, at a local hospital.
He worked for Trappey's for 41 years, 16 of which he was a truck driver and the remainder in the factory. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
Mr. Blanchard is survived by his wife, Mae Bernard Blanchard of New Iberia; one brother, Hugues "Earl NoNo" Blanchard of New Iberia; and one sister, Victoria B. Romero of New Iberia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Galbert Blanchard and Talita LaPointe Blanchard; and one sister, Eula B. Touchet.

Alvin J. Champagne
ST. MARTINVILLE - Services for Alvin Joseph Champagne, 38, will begin at 4 p.m. Thursday at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church with the Rev. Austin Leger officiating. interment will be in the St. Michael's Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-10 p.m. today with an 8:15 p.m. rosary at Evangeline Funeral Home, which will reopen at 8 a.m. Thursday.
A native and resident of St. Martinville, Mr. Champagne died Tuesday, April 7, 1998.
He is survived by his mother, Goldie Roseberry Champagne of St. Martinville; three brothers, Michael H. Champagne and Robert R. Champagne, both of St. Martinville and Larry Champagne of Lebanon, Mo.; two sisters, Donna C. Stockberger of New Iberia and Lisa C. Laviolette of St. Martinville; and 12 nieces and nephews.
Mr. Champagne was preceded in death by his father, Louis Joseph Champagne.
Pallbearers will be Robert Champagne, Michael Champagne, Robert Louis Champagne, James Akers, Peter Foti and Martin Alleman.

Robert A. Bienvenu Sr.
ST. MARTINVILLE - Services for Robert A. Bienvenu Sr. 84, will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church with the Rev. Austin Leger officiating. Entombment will be in the St. Michael's Mausoleum.

A native and resident of St. Martinville, Mr. Bienvenu died at 11:35 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, 1998, in a Lafayette hospital.
He was a retired plumber, carpenter and electrician in St. Martinville, a member of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church and the Woodmen of the World in St. Martinville.
Mr. Bienvenu is survived by two sons, Robert A. Bienvenu Jr. of Beaumont, Texas , and Ray J. Bienvenu of New Iberia; two daughters, Sylvia Oubre of Parks and Barbara Hebert of Breaux Bridge; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Adolphina Melancon Bienvenu; his parents, Edgar and Constance Fuselier Bienvenu; one son, Dennis J. Bienvenu; three brothers, Louis Bienvenu, Jerome Bienvenu and Edgar Bienvenu Jr.; and one sister, Eulalie Ellender.
Pallbearers will be Mike Bienvenu, Wayne Oubre, Grayson Bienvenu, Corey Melancon, Jared Bienvenu and Robert Bienvenu III.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Bienvenu, Casey Melancon, Richard Bienvenu, Joel Bienvenu and Neil Bienvenu.

A native and resident of Maurice, Mr. Schexnyder died at 2:45 p.m. Monday, April 6, 1998, at Abbeville General Hospital.

James W. Collins
Services for James "Jim" W. Collins, 70, will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with the Revs. Keith DeRouen and Steve LeBlanc officiating. Entombment will be in the Holy Family Mausoleum with military graveside services conducted by VFW Post No. 1982.

A native of Enterprise, Ala., and resident of New Iberia for 47 years, Mr. Collins died at 7:05 p.m. Monday, April 6, 1998, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital following a brief illness.
He was an original owner of Cardinal Wireline Specialists Inc. and retired after 33 successful years in that capacity. Mr. Collins was a 1951 graduate of Auburn University and a Marine Corps veteran. He was also involved in the formation of the Evangeline Little League, the Boy Scouts of America and the Panther Club.
Mr. Collins is survived by his wife, Theresa LaBiche Collins of New Iberia; three sons, James Neil Collins and Gene Micheal Collins both of New Iberia and John William Collins of Forest Hill, Md.; one daughter, Karen Theresa Collins of Burnville, Minn.; one sister, Nell Collins Hardwick of Panama City, Fla.; 10 grandchildren, Beau Fontenot, Lauren Fontenot, Weeks Collins, Nicholas Collins, Elena Quevedo, Victoria Quevedo, Jamie Collins, Chris Collins, Claire Collins and Nicole Collins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Wallace Collins and Ellen Miller Collins; and one brother, Guy Collins.
Pallbearers will be Steven Boudreaux, Billy Lohr, Richard Johnson , Dr. Mark S. DeRouen, Jamie Collins and Beau Fontenot.

A native of Jeanerette and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Derouen died at 1:48 p.m Saturday, April 4, 1998, at Dauterive Hospital.
He was a technician and a U.S. Navy veteran.
Mr. Derouen is survived his wife, Georgie Kelly Derouen of New Iberia; his mother, Mary Mae LeBlanc Derouen of Jeanerette; two sons, Donovan Derouen and Ron Derouen, both of New Iberia; one step son, R.P. Boutte of New Iberia; two step daughters, Anita Boutte Berard and Bridget Boutte, both of New Iberia; two brothers, Alcee John Derouen and Eli Derouen, both of Jeanerette; one sister, Marian Derouen Dartez of New Iberia; one grandson, Donovan Derouen Jr. of New Iberia; and one step granddaughter, Kailey Boutte of New Iberia.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jacque Derouen; one son, Stacy Derouen; and his first wife, Peggy Mae Aucoin Derouen.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Aucoin, Ben Dartez, Dean Dartez, John Derouen, Jordan Derouen and James Wright.

A native and resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Martin died at 5:05 p.m. Sunday, April 5, 1998.
He was a retired auto mechanic for Lapeyrouse Motors for 35 years, a member of the Jeanerette Volunteer Fire Department, a former member of Jeanerette Knights of Columbus and an inactive member of Woodmen of the World.
Mr. Martin is survived by one son, Lionel Martin Jr. of Franklin; three daughters, Mrs. T.J. (Jo Ella) Guillotte and Mrs. Donald (Mary Lee) St. Germain, both of Jeanerette, and Mrs. Roy (Jeanette) Cunningham of New Iberia; one sister, Odetta Martin Rivette of New Orleans; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sadie Martin; his parents, Jacques Martin and Eva Boudreaux Martin; one son, Jackie Martin; two brothers, Deluke Martin and Leonard Martin; one sister, Emily Martin Breaux; and one grandson, Roy Cunningham Jr.
Pallbearers will be Glenn St. Germain, Todd Martin, Randy Martin, Jeffrey Kern, Ernie Cunningham and Larry Segura.
