Felix Viator
DELCAMBRE - Services for Felix Viator, 91, will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Voorhies officiating. Entombment will be in the church mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. today with a 6 p.m. rosary at Evangeline Funeral Home, which will reopen at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
A native and resident of Delcambre, Mr. Viator died at 7:40 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998, at an Abbeville hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Aline Bonin Viator of Delcambre; two sons, Edward J. Viator of New Iberia and Jerry J. Viator of Delcambre; one daughter, Ms. Rosemary V. Broussard of Kaplan; three sisters, Lucy Terreborne, Lelia Dore and Alex Leleux, all of Delcambre; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Viator was preceded in death by his parents, Doade and Francine Pelloat Viator; five brothers, Frank Viator, Paul Viator, Didier Viator, Willie Viator and Maurice Viator; one step brother, Adolph Cormier; and two sisters, Alice Martin and Jeanne Griffin.
Pallbearers will be Wayman Rost, Jude Viator, Dwain Broussard, David Viator, Jeremy Viator and Corey Viator.

Aline R. DesOrmeaux
ERATH - Services for Aline Richard DesOrmeaux, 97, the former Aline Richard, will begin at 3 p.m. today at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with the Rev. Scott DesOrmeaux officiating. Entombment will be in the church mausoleum.
Visitation will be at David and Broussard Funeral Home until the time of services.
A native and resident of Erath, Mrs. DesOrmeaux, died at 10:20 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998.
She was the first president of the Society of Children of Mary and was actively engaged in raising money for the building of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She also has been an active member of the church's Altar Society and the Rosary Group.
Mrs. DesOrmeaux is survived by two daughters, Flossie D. Wesley of Lafayette and Mary Ruth D. Smith of Sulphur; three sons and daughters-in-law, John Aston DesOrmeaux Jr. and Velma Dora Todd DesOrmeaux of Youngsville, Darrell Daniel DesOrmeaux and Carla Beth Larson DesOrmeaux of Lafayette and Larry John DesOrmeaux and Julie Anne Krauss DesOrmeaux of Lake Charles; 25 grandchildren, Ronald James Wesley of Victoria, Texas , Jewell Anne Wesley Price of San Antonio, Richard Aston Wesley of Sulphur, Mary Ruth Wesley Carr of Houston, Hazel Louise Wesley Chahar of Ponca City, Okla., Hobert E. Wesley III of Lafayette, Kenneth Martin DesOrmeaux of Lafayette, Michael Kryn DesOrmeaux of Erath, Deborah Ann Bouillion of Lafayette, Louis Kirk DesOrmeaux of Neederland, Texas , John Keith DesOrmeaux of Ville Platte, Mary Ruth Arabie of Erath, Kim Patrick DesOrmeaux of Temple, Texas , Darrell D. Smith; two grandchildren, Denise Marie DesOrmeaux and Charles Michael Wesley; her parents, Lydia Broussard Richard LeBlanc and Pierre Richard; one sister, Esperia Richard DesOrmeaux; one brother-in-law, Huval DesOrmeaux; two brothers, and sisters-in-law, Xavier and Elda Mergist Richard and Etienne and Una Derouen Richard; her maternal grandparents, Desire and Mathilde Richard Broussard; and her paternal grandparents, Joseph and Marguerite Primeaux Richard.
Pallbearers will be Flossie D. Wesley, Mary Ruth D. Smith, John Aston DesOrmeaux Jr., Darrell D. DesOrmeaux Sr., Larry John DesOrmeaux and Ronald J. Wesley.

A native and resident of Abbeville, Mrs. Richard died at 1:27 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998, at Little Prairie Bridge, state Highway 82, Abbeville.

Kearney Robichaux
Services for Kearney J. Robichaux, 68, will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at David Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Neel officiating. interment will be in Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 3:30-10 p.m. today at the funeral home, which will reopen at 8 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services.
A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Robichaux died at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998, at his residence.
He was a draftsman, retired from McDermott after 10 years of service, a member of the Assembly of God Church and a U.S. Army veteran.
Mr. Robichaux is survived by his wife, Gertie Geoffroy Robichaux of New Iberia; four sons, Kirk Robichaux of Scott, Stephen Robichaux of Abbeville, Randall Robichaux and Kevin Robichaux, both of New Iberia; four daughters, Liz R. Alford, Ellen R. Landry and Jill R. Stoltz, all of New Iberia, and Laura R. LeBlanc of Lafayette; one brother, Roland Robichaux of St. Martinville; three sisters, Nina Christen of DesAlmonds, Linda Vincent of Loreauville and Elaine Riggs of New Iberia; and 19 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Robert Robichaux and Pauline Deslatte Robichaux.
Pallbearers will be Kirk Robichaux, Stephen Robichaux, Randal Robichaux, Kevin Robichaux, Steve LeBlanc and Barry Landry.

Pervis Broussard
ERATH - Services for Pervis "Punch" Broussard, 77, will begin at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. interment will be in the church mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 1:30-10 p.m. today with a 6 p.m. rosary at David and Broussard Funeral Home, which will reopen from 10 a.m.-3:45 p.m. Tuesday.
A native of Vermilion Parish and resident of Erath, Mr. Broussard died at 9:52 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998, at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Services for Mrs. John Baptiste Bourque Jr., 78, the former Rose Gaspard, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at David Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Thevis officiating. interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held today from 9:30 a.m.-10 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at the funeral home, which will reopen Tuesday from 8 a.m. until the time of services.
A native of Iberia Parish and resident of Broussard, Mrs. Bourque died at 8:55 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998, at Abbeville General Hospital.
She was a housewife.
Mrs. Bourque is survived by three sons, Charles Bourque and Wilton Bourque Sr., both of St. Martinville and Wilson Bourque Sr. of Jeanerette; three daughters, Wilda Bourque and Jessie Landry, both of New Iberia and Rita White of Broussard; one sister, Mildred Touchet of New Iberia; 24 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Baptiste Bourque Jr.; her father, Louis Gaspard; her mother, Mary Brown Gaspard; four brothers, Oday Gaspard, Odras Gaspard, Oscar Gaspard and Otis Gaspard; and three sisters, Margaret Hebert, Elizabeth Omine and Bertha Renard.
Pallbearers will be Wilson Bourque Jr., Arthur Bourque, Keith Bourque, Randy Bourque, John Gonsoulin and John Landry.

FREETOWN - Services for Ronald Wayne Bell Sr., 45, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. Henry Maze officiating. interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. today at Journet and Bolden Funeral Home Chapel, which will reopen at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
A native lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mr. Bell died at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, 1998, at Dauterive Hospital.
Mr. Bell is survived by his wife, Earline C. Bell of New Iberia; one son, Ronald Wayne Bell Jr. of New Iberia; two daughters, Dayatra B. Williams and Krystle P. Bell, both of New Iberia; five brothers, John Bell, Henry S. Bell, Walter S. Bell, Ray Bell and Johnny Bell, all of New Iberia; three sisters, Rhonda Boyance and Patricia B. Lewis, both of New Iberia and Vanessa Bell of New Orleans; and one special niece, De Quindra Redding of New Iberia.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Bell; his mother, Lebana Noah Bell; and one special aunt, Lilly Segura.

Services for Lucius Stredit, 64, will be held at 8 p.m. today at St. Edward Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas James officiating. interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will begin today at 4 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at Journet and Bolden Funeral Home, which will reopen at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. Dismissal services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mr. Stredit died at 4:52 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, 1998, at Dauterive Hospital following a brief illness.
He was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church where he was an usher. Mr. Stredit also was a member of the Knights of Peter Claver #179 and and a member of the Holy Name Society.
Mr. Stredit is survived by his wife, Irma Stredit of New Iberia; one son, Christopher Johnson Sr. of New Iberia; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, Orelia Lee Stredit; his mother, Mary Riggs; two brothers, Arthur Stredit Sr. and Horace Brown; and two sisters, Louise Harris and Edna Stredit.
Pallbearers will be members of the Knights of Peter Claver #179.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald Bashay, Arthur Stredit Jr., Charles Stredit, Freddie Bashay, Ellis Gonsoulin, Edmond Mickins, Leo Etienne, Ronald Davis Sr. and Jerry Livingston Sr.
