Ella D. Albert
Services for Mrs. Edwin Albert, 83, the former Ella Dore, will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church with the Rev. Paul Thibodeaux officiating. interment will be in the church cemetery in Coteau.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m.-10 p.m. today with a 7:30 p.m. rosary at David Funeral Home, which will reopen at 8 a.m. Saturday.
A native of Coteau and resident of Broussard, Mrs. Albert died at 8:35 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, 1998, at Magnolia Place Nursing Home in Lafayette.
She is survived by her husband, Edwin Albert of Broussard; one son, Ronald Waguespack of Lake Charles; one daughter, Mrs. Lawrence P. (Beverly) Woods of Houston; one brother, Paul A. Dore Sr. of New Iberia; five grandsons, Brian Woods and Steve Woods , both of New Iberia, Kevin Woods and Larry Woods , both of Houston, and Michael Woods of Corpus Christi, Texas ; four granddaughters, Tonya W. Aucoin of Belle River, Melissa M. Cooley of Longville, Terry W. Dupont of Morgan City and Kelli Waguespack of Lake Charles; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Albert was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Eve Huval Dore; one brother, Delmar Dore; three sisters, Nola D. Albert, Esther Dore, and Anna Mae D. Leleux, one grandson, James Ronald Waguespack Jr. and her first husband, Simon Waguespack.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Woods , Simon Touchet, Travis Touchet, Brian Woods , Michael Woods , and Steve Woods .
Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Woods and Kole Woods .

Cecile F. Bell
BROUSSARD - Memorial services for Cecile F. Bell, 72, will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
A native and resident of Lafayette, Mr. Bell died at 11:22 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998, at his residence.

Leo Morvant Sr.
ERATH - Services for Leo "Chook" Morvant Sr., 67, will begin at 1 p.m. today at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. interment will be in the church cemetery.
A native of Vermilion Parish and resident of Erath, Mr. Morvant died at 5:28 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998, at University Medical Center in Lafayette.

Robert G. Labbe
ST. MARTINVILLE - Services for Robert Gary Labbe, 71, were held at 11 a.m. today at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church. interment was in the St. Michael Cemetery.
A resident of St. Martinville, Mr. Labbe died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
He is survived by his wife, Estelle B. Labbe of St. Martinville; one son, Robert G. Labbe Jr. of New York; two daughters, Rene Blanchard and Judy Creig, both of St. Martinville; two brothers, Harry L. Labbe Jr. of St. Martinville and Dr. Ronald M. Labbe of Lafayette; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Labbe was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Celine Labbe; and one daughter, Rachael Anne Labbe.

Gloria H. St. Germain
FRANKLIN - Services for Gloria Hebert St. Germain, 69, will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at The Church of the Assumption.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today with a 7:30 p.m. rosary at Ibert's Mortuary, which will reopen at 8 a.m. Friday until the time of services.
Mrs. St. Germain died at 1:14 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, 1998.

Raymond Doffoney
INGLEWOOD, Calif. - Services for Raymond Doffoney, 70, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Crenshaw Christian Center with the Rev. Frederick K.C. Price officiating. interment will be in the Veterans Memorial Park in Riverside, Calif.
A native of Patoutville and lifelong resident of Inglewood, Mr. Doffoney died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 1998, following a brief illness.
He is survived by his wife, Velma Doffoney of California; one son, Raymond Doffoney Jr. of Alexandria; one daughter, Janice Woods of Houston; one brother, Lee Doucet of Jeanerette; three sisters, Rachel Alexander of Jeanerette, Odelia Hills of Patoutville, and Irma Trotter of Beaumont; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Doffoney was preceded in death by his parents, Amile Doffoney and Florence Doucet; three brothers, Aaron Wiltz, Ned Doffoney Sr. and Ralph Doffoney; and one sister, Ida Norman.
Marion J. Manuel
ABBEVILLE - Graveside services for Marion "Tiny" Joseph Manuel, 58, were held at 10 a.m. today at Graceland Cemetery.
A native of Jennings and resident of Abbeville, Mr. Manuel died at 11:25 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998, at Abbeville General Hospital.

Elizabeth W. Stutsman
GREENWOOD - Services for Elizabeth White Stutsman, 83, were held at 11 a.m. today at Greenwood United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steve Kelly officiating.
Mrs. Stutsman died Monday, Feb. 2, 1998, at her residence.
Elizabeth Stutsman was born on Aug. 29, 1916, in Karnack, Texas . She was a lifelong resident of Greenwood and attended Greenwood Elementary and High School. In 1938, Elizabeth graduated from Centenary College with a double major in English and history. She was a member of Chi Omega Sorority.
On Dec. 27, 1939, Elizabeth married her wonderful husband, Earl Jack Stutsman, when she was first teaching in Oil City, La. She continued her teaching career in the Caddo Parish School System as a third-grade teacher in Greenwood. Elizabeth was widely recognized for her outstanding performance in the classroom. She retired after 36 years and was loved and admired by the countless students whose lives she touched. In 1990, the Greenwood High School Alumni Association honored her with its most prestigious award, commending alumni who have made the greatest contributions to the school and community.
Throughout her life, Elizabeth was an active member of her beloved Greenwood United Methodist Church and served on virtually every one of its boards and commissions. She will be especially remembered for her years spent as a dedicated Sunday School teacher and Bible school director. In addition to her involvement in the church, Elizabeth contributed to her community through her participation in several volunteer service organizations, including the Woman's Club of Greenwood. Her deep patriotism prompted her to join the Frances Rebecca Harrison Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, for which she served many years as registrar. She also belonged to the Matthew Agee Chapter of the Colonial Dames XVII Century and the Shreveport Chapter, national Society Magna Carta Dames. Elizabeth was very proud of her hometown and enjoyed many years of participation in the activities of the Pioneer Club of Greenwood.
Her sweet smile and kind disposition will long be remembered by all who knew and loved her. Moreover, her bravery and determination in battling her illness were truly inspirational to her family and friends. She lived her life as an example of Christian love, dedication to others, high standard, courage and character.
Mrs. Stutsman is survived by her husband of 58 years, Earl Jack Stutsman; one daughter, Nancy Terrell Stutsman Lewis and her husband, Dr. Charles Clinton Lewis, both of New Iberia; three granddaughters, Laura Terrell Lewis Shelburne and her husband, Craig Aldredge Shelburne of Santa Barbara, Calif., Ellen Rigsby Lewis Gildea and her husband, David Kevin Gildea of Baltimore, and Mary-Ayres Lewis of Washington ; and one great-granddaughter, Peyton Terrell Elizabeth Shelburne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Terrell White of Greenwood.
Pallbearers will be the Honorable Eugene W. Bryson Jr., Tom Bryson Jr., John Kent Colvin, A. Glenn Flournoy, John J. Long, Martin F. Philyaw, DeOrsay A. Simpson, David Stone and Dr. Charles A. Woods .
Honorary pallbearers will be Eugene W. Bryson III, J.T. Carmichael, Edwin M. Higginbotham III, Benjamin C. King, William H. Rosenbleeth, Hugh Stutsman, J.B. "Bud" Vaughan and John A. Walker.

Celestine J. Joseph
MORBIHAN - Services for Mrs. Celestine "Tennie" Joseph, 78, the former Celestine Johnson , will begin at 2 p.m. today at Teche United Church of Christ with the Rev. Paul Godfrey officiating. interment will be in the St. Matthew Cemetery
in New Iberia.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Wednesday until time of services at the church.
A native of Morbihan, Mrs. Joseph died at 9:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 1998, at Heritage Manor North following a brief illness. She was a member of Teche United Church of Christ where she served as a deaconess, usher and former choir member; a faithful follower of the Jubilee Singing Convention; a member of Saint Matthew Society; a member of Ernest Gullet Chapter No. 16 Order of Easter Stars; a member of Leah Court No. 24 Heroines of Jericho; a member of A. A. Williams Court No. 4 Cyrenes and a member of Izella G. Bell Court No. 8 Amaranth.
She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Leona Johnson and Louise Johnson , both of Morbihan, one special brother-in-law, Lawless Sparrow of Morbihan; 17 nieces and nephews; and a host of great-nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Joseph was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Johnson Sr. and Laura Irving Johnson ; her husband, Arthur Joseph; seven brothers, Cornelius Johnson , Leafier Johnson , Harry Johnson , Israel Johnson , Paul Johnson , Calvin Johnson and Joseph Johnson Jr.; four sisters, Neomie J. Sparrow, Rose Marie Johnson , Evangeline J. Daye and Catherine Johnson ; and one special niece, Jessie Sparrow.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Thompson, Roy Johnson , Harold Thompson, Brian Thompson, Gregory Johnson and Calvin Johnson .
