Annie L. Dore

BREAUX BRIDGE - Services for Mrs. Annie Lou Dore, 81, will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bernard Catholic Church. interment will be in the St Bernard Cemetery No. 2.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. rosary at Pellerin Funeral Home, which will reopen at 7 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services.

A resident of Breaux Bridge, Mrs. Dore died Sunday, Jan. 18, 1998, at Lafayette General Medical Center.

She is survived by four sons, Henry Dore and Ronald Dore, both of Arnaudville, Roland Dore and David Dore, both of Breaux Bridge; three daughters, Annette Delcambre of New Iberia, Joanne Landry of Lafayette and Lorraine St. Clair of Liberty, Texas ; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren; and Herman Thibodeaux and Norma T. Prejean, both of Lafayette who were reared by Mrs. Dore.

Mrs. Dore was preceded in death by her husband, Vernest J. Dore; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Green; and six half-brothers, Edwin, Dolton, Eddie, Clayus, Essie and Claude Thibodeaux.

The Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.

Jerry N. Begnaud

BROUSSARD - Services for Jerry Noel Begnaud, 66, will begin at 2 p.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. interment will be in the Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be at David Funeral Home until the time of services.

A native and resident of Lafayette, Mr. Begnaud died at 3:50 p.m. Saturday, Jan, 17, 1998, at Lafayette General Hospital.

The David Funeral Home of Broussard is in charge of arrangements.

Anne C. Kelly

GAINESVILLE, Texas - Services for Anne Catherine Kelly, 92, will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Gainsville.

Visitation will be from 1-7 p.m. Tuesday with a 4 p.m. rosary at Carroll, Geo J. and Son Funeral Home, 602 Lindsy St., Gainesville, which will reopen at 8 a.m. Wednesday until the time of services.

A native of Munster, Texas , and resident of New Iberia, Ms. Kelly died at 8:40 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, 1998, in a New Iberia nursing home.

She was secretary for the president of North-Western Bell Telephone Co. for 40 years and a member of the Telephone Co. Pioneers of America.

Ms. Kelly is survived by one brother, James R. Kelly of Ancster, Texas ; and two sisters, Mrs. William E. (Mary) C. White of Portland, Texas and Mrs. Russell J. (Irene) K. Young of New Iberia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William M. Kelly and Catherine Huchton Kelly; one brother, Charles Kelly; five sisters, Ernestine Kelly, Laura E. Kelly, Mrs. Lyle K. (Margarte) Evans, Mrs. James (Evelyn) Killian and Mrs. James (Sadie Louise) Melvin.

The Carroll, Geo J. and Son Funeral Home, 602 Lindsy Street, Gainesville, Texas , and Evangeline Funeral Home Inc. of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.

Larry P. Delahoussaye Sr.

Graveside funeral services for Larry Paul Delahoussaye Sr., 80, were held at 10:30 today at Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Rev. Kenneth Waguespack officiating. Entombment will be in the Memorial Park Mausoleum.

A native of St. Martinville and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Delahoussaye died at 6:45 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, 1998, in a local hospital.

He is survived by three sons, Larry P. Delahoussaye Jr. of Newark, Del., Carl Delahoussaye and Keith Delahoussaye, both of New Iberia; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Delahoussaye was preceded in death by his wife, Laverne Norton Delahoussaye; his parents, Gustave and Honora Gary Delahoussaye; four brothers, Albert Delahoussaye, Robert Delahoussaye, Whitney Delahoussaye and Cleveland Delahoussaye Sr. and one sister, Beulah D. Romero.

The Evangeline Funeral Home Inc. of New Iberia is in charge of arrangement.

Albert J. Pesson

Services for Albert Joseph Pesson, 82, will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with the Rev. Daniel Picard officiating. interment will be in the Holy Family Mausoleum.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. rosary at the Evangeline Funeral Home, which will reopen at 8 a.m. Tuesday.

A native of Iberia Parish and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Pesson died at 6:40 a.m. today, Monday, Jan. 19, 1998, at a New Iberia nursing home.

He was a retired sugar cane farmer and a carpenter.

Mr. Pesson is survived by his wife, Bertha Hebert Pesson of New Iberia; five sons, Earl Pesson, Charles Pesson and James Pesson, all of New Iberia, Claude Pesson of Ozona, Texas , and Mike Pesson of Lafayette; one brother, Henry Pesson of New Iberia; four sisters, Mrs. Irene Landry, Mrs. Ethel Gisclaire, Mrs. Lillian Badeaux and Mrs. Lillia Patton, all of New Iberia; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fernand and Valerie Blanchard Pesson; and one sister, Leona P. Comeaux.

The Evangeline Funeral Home Inc. of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.

John Boudreaux

Services for John Boudreaux, 80, will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with the Rev. Daniel Picard and Deacon Ulysse Boudreaux officiating. interment will be in St. Marcellus Cemetery with military graveside services by VFW Post 1982 of New Iberia.

Visitation will be from 3-10 p.m. Sunday, with a 7 p.m. rosary at the Evangeline Funeral Home of New Iberia, which will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday until time of services.

A native of Lydia and a resident of New Iberia, Mr. Boudreaux died at 3:02 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, 1998, in a local nursing home.

He served in the U.S. Army in World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart twice, serving under Gen. Patton. He was a member of the VFW Post 1982 of New Iberia, a member of Knights of Columbus Council 3425 of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, a member of the Usher Society of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church parish.

Mr. Boudreaux is survived by four brothers, Mitchell Boudreaux of Avery Island, Paul Boudreaux of Toledo, Oregon, Simon Boudreaux of New Iberia, and Ulysse Boudreaux of New Iberia, and two sisters, Mrs. Eula B. Segura of Rynella and Theresa Boudreaux of New Iberia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Philip Dorville and Felicia Bonin Boudreaux, three brothers, Laurent Boudreaux, Louis Boudreaux and Sgt. Philip Boudreaux, and two sisters, Sidonia B. Segura and Josephine Boudreaux.

The family prefers memorials to the American Diabetes Association, Louisiana Affiliate, Inc., 9420 Lindale Ave. Suite B, Baton Rouge, LA 70815, phone (504) 927-7732 and the Alzheimer Association, 2205 Hwy. 14, New Iberia, LA 70560.

Pallbearers will be James Boudreaux, Gregory Boudreaux, Kenneth Boudreaux, Godfrey Boudreaux, Raymond Boudreaux and Irving Boudreaux.

The Evangeline Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.

Marguerite J. Chaney

JEANERETTE - Services for Mrs. Edgar L. Chaney Jr., 87, the former Marguerite Junca, will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Jeanerette, with the Rev. Mark Derise officiating. interment will be in St. John Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:30-10 p.m. Sunday, with a 7 p.m. rosary at David and Landry Funeral Home of Jeanerette, which will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday until time of services.

A native of Louisa and resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Chaney died at 9 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 17, 1998 at Dauterive Hospital.

She was a housewife. She was a member of the Book and Hobby Club and a past member of the Garden Club.

She is survived by her son and his wife, Lynn Chaney and Gertrude Derise Chaney of Lafayette, and her son and his wife, Robert Chaney and Marie Pearl Hebert Chaney of Lafayette, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar L. Chaney Jr., her parents, Joseph Junca Sr. and Marguerite Walker Junca, four sisters, Lucille J. Chris, Mary Ann "Annie" Junca, Marie J. Mequet and Juanita J. Moresi, and four brothers, Lee Junca, Raymond Junca, Walker Junca and Joseph Junca Jr.

Pallbearers will be Troy Chaney, Richard Broussard, David Chaney, Michael Chaney, Albert Foreman and Gerald Moresi.

Honorary pallbearers will be Harry Chris, Harold Junca, George Moresi and Leroy Moresi.

The David and Landry Funeral Home of Jeanerette is in charge of arrangements.

Clarence J. Hebert Sr.

ST. MARTINVILLE - Services for Clarence Jay Hebert Sr., 86, will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church. interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. today with a 6 p.m. rosary at Pellerin Funeral Home, which will reopen at 8 a.m. Saturday.

A resident of St. Martinville, Mr. Hebert died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 1998, at his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Florence LeBlanc Hebert of St. Martinville; four sons, Donald J. Hebert of California, Clarence J. Hebert Jr. of Oregon, Gregory P. Hebert of Branch and Aaron J. Hebert of Maurice; five daughters, Rose H. Roy, Helen H. Boutte and Janet H. Martin, all of Lafayette, Carol H. Engleman of Texas and Susan H. Alexander of Shreveport; one brother, Eddie Joseph Hebert of Crowley; 23 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Hebert was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ulysse Hebert; and one son, Michael Hebert.

The Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
