She lived her life with abundant passion. Each day of her life was a reflection of Deuteronomy 6:5: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.” Viva Dee knew her life was not her own and that it belonged to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She was a pillar of strength at First Assembly of God where, under the direction of the Holy Spirit, she taught Sunday School for 15 years.
In this lady of wisdom, her family and friends would seek and find wise counsel and guidance for their lives whether they asked for it or not.
Viva Dee was a marvelous cook since the age of 16. Her main ingredient in each of her taste-tempting delights would be the enduring love she had for her family. Viva Dee so enjoyed preparing for these feasts. Under each plate would be an exquisite tablecloth handcrafted by Mrs. Peveto and a dining encounter comparable to nothing you would have tasted before.
She enjoyed relaxing with a good book. She also had an amazing sense of fashion and was a relentless bargain hunter.
