Wilma Ann Bush, 77, a resident of Bayou Vista, was born Oct. 22, 1926, and Passed away Dec. 1, 2003, at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and services will be conducted at 11 a.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City.
Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery.
She is survived by five sons and their spouses, John H. and Cindy Bush of Patterson, Richard G. and Shelly Bush of Houston, Roy L. Bush of Bayou Vista, Ray M. Bush of Bayou Vista and Gary T. Bush of Cypress, Texas ; two daughters, Joanne Henry and her husband, Donnie, of Berwick and Jennifer Protich of Morgan City; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Bush; and her parents, Herman and Maria Gereka.
Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City is in charge of arrangements.

Johnny L. Boudreaux, 79, a native of Baldwin and longtime resident of Franklin, died at 9:50 p.m. Tuesday at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Alexandria, following a lengthy battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Billie Hardee Boudreaux of Franklin; one daughter, Cheryl B. LaVerne of Franklin; one brother, D. R. "Pete" Boudreaux of Baldwin; three sisters, Mabel Darce, Amy Landry and Betty Verret, all of Baldwin; and one grandson.
He was preceded in death by one son, one daughter, his parents and four brothers.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, with a rosary service at 7 p.m., at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin.
Visitation will resume at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Church of the Assumption, with a rosary service at 10 a.m.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church of the Assumption with the Rev. Michael Russo officiating.
interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Baldwin.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to a charity of choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert’s Mortuary of Franklin.

Marjorie Margaret Leblanc, age 81, a native of Abbeville and resident of Morgan City, died Saturday, April 3, 2004, at her residence in Morgan City surrounded by her family that she loved so dearly.
She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Morgan City. She also was a member of the St. Mary Parish AARP and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Marjorie loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was passionate about her love for children. Having lost her mother at the age of 14, she raised her brothers and sisters. Her desire to love and nurture children carried over into her entire life as she poured herself into her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed sewing, reading and birds. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was the daughter of the late Jean Ozare Leblanc and the late Maude Broussard Leblanc.
She is survived by her loving and faithful husband of over 59 years, Claude Leblanc Jr.; three daughters, Suzanne M. Leblanc and Elizabeth L. Risk, both of Bayou Vista, and Jean M. Leblanc of Thibodaux; one son, Claude "Lannie" Leblanc III and his wife, Joan, of St. Louis; two sisters, Mary Virginia Lehr and her husband, James, of Zwolle, and Jeanne Mignon Leblanc of New Orleans; two brothers, Charles L. Leblanc of Abbeville and William "Gene" Leblanc of Friendswood, Texas ; one son-in-law, Dell Scott of Miami; six grandchildren, Courtney Joshua, Michelle, Jacqueline, Rene’, Mandy and David; and 11 great-grandchildren, Tanner, Taylor , Jayme, Kai Blue, Miah Dae, Brittany, Hailey, Madeleine, Douglas, Andrew and Gabriella.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, J.O. Leblanc and Albert Leblanc.
Pallbearers to serve will be David Risk Jr., Matthew Todd, Richard Todd, Alice Saragusa, Derek Wininger, Ray Brennan, Troy Lombardo and David Eastling.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. today at Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan City. A VFW Ladies Auxiliary ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. with a rosary to follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2004, with Father Jay Baker officiating. Burial will be in the Morgan City Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Society.
Twin City Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

James Ronald Adkins, 57, a native of Shelbyville, Tenn., born Sept. 13, 1946, and a resident of Berwick, Passed away June 16, 2004, at his residence.
Visitation will be observed Friday, June 18, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City. Visitation will resume Saturday at the funeral home from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. with a dismissal to St. Stephen Catholic Church in Berwick.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. and will be officiated by the Rev. Paul Bienvenu. interment will follow in the Berwick Cemetery.
Mr. James Adkins is survived by his loving wife, Connie Dragna Adkins; his loving step-parents, O.B. and Rena Watson; his son, Scott Adkins and his three children from Atlanta; his daughter, Connie A. Grizzaffi, and her two children and their father, Leo Grizzaffi, of Stephensville; his daughter, Sherry Dinger, of Baton Rouge; his daughter, Jamie, and her husband, Mike Swords, and their three children of Berwick; his sisters, Derinda Cantrell of Tennessee, Charleen Tholen of Berwick, and Darlene Hughes of Morgan City; his brothers, Frank Maddix of Morgan City, Billy Boswell of San Antonio, and Walter Boswell of Morgan City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irene Smith and Robert Adkins; his son, Russell Adkins; and his brother, Ricky Watson.
Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Elsie Michel Davenport, 80, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003, in Pass Christian, Miss.
She was the beloved wife of the late William A. Davenport Sr. and mother of Emma Johnson , William A. Davenport Jr., Claudia Ross, Clyde Davenport, David Davenport and Michael Davenport.
She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by three children, Meredith O’Meara, Marvin L. Davenport and Thomas Davenport; her parents, Myrtile and Amelia Michel of Belle River; and five sisters and brothers, Amy Labit, Mildred Barras, Netta Montgomery, and Leroy and Leonard Michel.
Elsie was a resident of Gretna, Harvey and Algiers for more than 50 years.
She was active for many years in the Knights of Columbus 1905 Council Ladies Auxiliary, St. John Bosco Ladies Society, Family and Friends of Belle Chasse State School, Special Olympics, as a volunteer at West Jefferson General Hospital and in many other organizations.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mothe Funeral Home on the Westbank Expressway in Harvey.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John Bosco on Woodmere Boulevard in Harvey.
Parlors will be open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday evening and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Mothe Funeral Home.
interment will be at Westlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.

Franc J. Bourgeois, 81, a native of Verdunville and a resident of Franklin, died Wednesday at 9 a.m. at Franklin Foundation Hospital.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Verdunville.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
He is survived by three sons, Frankie Bourgeois of Philadelphia, and Etienne Bourgeois and Emile Bourgeois, both of Florida; two daughters, Renee Bourgeois of Minnesota and Joanviair Bourgeois of Philadelphia; three brothers, Dennis Bourgeois and Freddie Bourgeois, both of Verdunville, and Lynol Bourgeois of Patterson; three sisters, Lelar McClendon of Newtonville, N.J., and Ora M. Kemp and Almena Kirt, both of Verdunville; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and five brothers.

Kevin Marks, 32, a native and resident of Four Corners, died Friday at 12:32 a.m. at Iberia General Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at St. John Baptist Church in Four Corners.
Funeral services will be at noon Saturday at the church with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, Bobbie S. Marks of Four Corners; two daughters, Kevonna Marks and Tandrea Crosby, both of Jeanerette; a brother, Robert Marks of Baton Rouge; and a sister, Ursula M. Jones of Four Corners.
He was preceded in death by his father and maternal and paternal grandparents.

William Joseph Collins, 61, a native and resident of Charenton, died Sunday at 5:50 a.m. at Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia.
Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Charenton.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Immaculate Conception with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by two daughters, Tia Collins of Las Vegas and Tryphinia Collins of Los Angeles; six brothers, John Collins of Los Angeles, Freddie Collins of Portland, Ore., Chester Collins of Brandon, Fla., Clifford Collins of Jeanerette, Gerald Collins of New Orleans and Jerome Collins of Baldwin; five sisters, Blanche Conway of Corona, Calif., Mary Wesley and Magdalene Drexler, both of Baldwin, Elizabeth Haggerty of Irving, Texas , and Monica Prejean of Lafayette.

Narcess Clement Crappell, 89, a native of Berwick and resident of Morgan City, died Wednesday in Morgan City.
Visitation will be today, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and resume Friday at 8 a.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City.
Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery.
She is survived by five sons, Junius Crappell, Larry Crappell and Wade Crappell Sr., all of Morgan City, Herbert Crappell of Patterson and Lawrence Crappell of Albuquerque, N.M.; two daughters, Iris Crappell Fry of Patterson and Ruby Crappell Van Cleave of Mississippi; three sisters, Dolly Thompson Klein of Berwick, Rena Deslotte of Morgan City and Kay Suttoon of Bayou Vista; one brother, Gerald Fabre of Bayou L’Ourse; 25 grandchildren; and 43 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Crappell; one son, Roland Crappell; her father, Clement Fabre; her mother, Tillie Fabre; one granddaughter, Kim Crappell Black; four brothers, Morris Fabre, Lawrence Fabre, Nolon Fabre and Alden Fabre; and five sisters, Della Meranto, Mildred Fabre Price, Ethel Fabre Whetstone, Anna Fabre Scott and Romana Fabre.
Pallbearers will be her five sons and her grandson, Alex Crappell.
Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City is in charge of arrangements.

Earl Louis Edwards Sr.
Funeral arrangements are pending for Earl Louis Edwards Sr., 60, a native of Lawtell and resident of Patterson, who died today at 6:40 a.m. at his residence.
On arriving in Patterson, he was welcomed into the home of Mr. and Mrs. Collins LaSalle. He met Carolyn Chapman Edwards at that time. They were married for 38 years.
To this union, five children were born: Earl Edwards Jr. and his wife, Wanda, Darrin Edwards, Bridgette Edwards and Jared Edwards, all of Patterson and Sherman Edwards of Morgan City.
Bobby Jennings also became a part of his life.
He was co-owner of Edwards Masonry. He bricked many of the homes in the surrounding area.
If tears could build a stairway and memories could build a bridge, I’d walk right up to Heaven and bring you back again.
