Ethel Randolph Waller

Ethel Randolph Waller, 84, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Thibodaux, died at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, 1999.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Old Fountain Missionary Baptist Church in Thibodaux. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Matthew's Cemetery in Houma.

She is survived by her husband, James Waller of Thibodaux; nine children, Roosevelt, Isaac and Bessie Randolph, all of New Orleans, Lorraine Waller of New Orleans, Gloria Duncan, Carrie Smith, Janice Waller and Brenda Nora, all of Thibodaux, and Barbara King of Houma; 55 grandchildren; 74 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elvina and George Johnson Washington Sr.; two sons, Welton and Huey Randolph; two daughters, Evelyn King and Daisy Duncan; two brothers, John and George Washington Jr.; and two sisters, Mary and Lena Johnson .

She was a member of the Deaconess Board, a member of the Usher Board and a member of Old Fountain Missionary Baptist Church.

Daisy Williams LeBlanc

Daisy Williams LeBlanc , 71, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died Friday, Oct. 29, 1999.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Community Funeral Home and from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at New Rising Sun Baptist Church. Wake services will be at 8 p.m. Thursday at the church. Dismissal services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Rudolph LeBlanc ; two sons, Elroy and Randolph LeBlanc , both of Houma; two daughters, Carolyn L. Johnson of Houston, Texas , and Betty Jean L. Hubbard of New Orleans; three brothers, Lloyd and Lawyer Williams Sr., both of Houma, and Paul Williams of Los Angeles, Calif.; four sisters, Creacy W. Marshall, Elizabeth W. Perio and Dorothy W. Coleman, all of Houma, and Eva W. Williams of Chicago, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Alice W. Williams; one son, Rudolph "R.J." LeBlanc Jr.; two brothers, Clarence Sam Williams Sr. and James "Jimmy" Williams Sr.; four sisters, Gertrude W. Harding, Rosa W. Washington , Eddie Mae and Zenobia Williams.

She was a homemaker, a member of the Deaconess Board and a member of New Rising Sun Baptist Church.

James "Chief" "Santa" Aitkens Sr.

James "Chief" "Santa" Aitkens Sr., 78, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died Saturday, Oct. 30, 1999.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at New Rising Sun Baptist Church. A musical tribute will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian Pierce Aitkens of Houma; three sons, James Aitkens Jr. and wife, Cheryl, and Christopher Aitkens and wife, Carmen, all of Houma, and the Rev. Kirkland Aitkens and wife, Bonnie, of Seattle, Wash.; one daughter, Mrs. Howard (Dianne) Nixon of Houma; one brother, Curtis Aitkens of Gibson; one sister, Vivian Charles of Houma; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Lillie Morgan Aitkens; two brothers, Mack and Chalsen Aitkens; and seven sisters, Gertrude A. Matthews, Alma A. Brown, Sophia A. Washington , Alice A. White , Lillie A. Jackson , Gladys A. Viel and Hazel A. Hawkins.

He was a retired tire repairman for Patterson Truck Line after 38 years, a U.S. Army veteran, a deacon, a member of the Trustee Board, chairman of the Building Committee, president of the Beautifying Club and a member of New Rising Sun Baptist Church.

Aitkens began his annual Christmas toy giveaway 13 years ago with bicycles he collected and repaired at his home. The Aitkens family and members of his church plan to continue the program in his name.

In 1995, Aitkens was honored as Terrebonne's Most Useful Citizen.

Ouida LeBlanc Breaux

Ouida LeBlanc Breaux, 81, a native of Vermilion Parish and resident of Houma, died at 1:40 p.m. Monday, Nov. 1, 1999.

Visitation was scheduled from 1 p.m. to funeral time today at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Delcambre. Mass was scheduled for 3 p.m. today at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Glenn John (Vicki) Pertuit and Mrs. Raymond (Mitzi) Solito Sr., both of Houma; one sister, Agnes L. Broussard of Delcambre; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Breaux; her parents, Aristle and Clonise Dronet LeBlanc ; and one son, Johnny Breaux.

She was a homemaker, a member of Catholic Daughters and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.

Paul Joseph Charpentier

Paul Joseph Charpentier, 74, a native and resident of Galliano, died at 3:57 a.m. Monday, Nov. 1, 1999.

Visitation was scheduled from 9 a.m. to funeral time today at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano. Mass was scheduled for 11 a.m. today at the church, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.

He is survived by one sister, Justilia Adams of Galliano.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Julien and Julienne Baudoin Charpentier; three brothers, Magloir, Percy and Leon Charpentier; and three infant brothers, not named.

He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Cameron Clarence Cook

Cameron Clarence Cook, infant, a native of Houma, died at birth Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Bisland Cemetery in Bourg.

He is survived by his parents, Anya S. Cook and Richard T. Marshall, both of Houma; his maternal grandparents, Becky and MacArthur Cook; and his paternal grandparents, Dorothy and Otis Murray.

Warren Sylvester Granier

Warren Sylvester Granier, 76, a native of Vacherie and resident of Chackbay, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 1999.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret McCarthy Granier; three sons, Ronald, Rene and Warren Granier Jr.; two stepsons, Marcus and Stephen Trosclair; one daughter, Sandra Granier; two stepdaughters, Marsha Trosclair and Lisa Scioneaux; three brothers, Vernon, Arthur and Henry Granier; three sisters, Joyce Martinez, Noelie Theriot and Lucille Breaux; 19 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Joseph and Noelie Waguespack Granier; one son, Ricky Granier; one stepson, Patrick Trosclair; one brother, A.J. Granier; and three sisters, Roselyn Hennon, Dolly Mae Cortez and Dorothy Ordoyne.

Clara Nida Landry Kreamer

Clara Nida Landry Kreamer, 91, a native of Chackbay and resident of Houma, died at 3:25 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2, 1999.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with interment in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.

She is survived by four sons, Raymond, Chester, Peter and Leroy Kreamer, all of Houma; one daughter, Modez Deroche of Houma; one sister, Verna Bergeron of Houma; 25 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; 32 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Joseph Kreamer; her parents, Emile and Emilie Levron Landry; four brothers, Tenill, Ferdinand, Ferdnan and Nidies Landry; and two grandchildren, Teddy Kreamer and Paul Bonvillain.

She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.

Daniel Philip Ledet

Daniel Philip Ledet, 59, a native of Houma and resident of Redfield, S.D., died at 6:51 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29, 1999.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Houma.

He is survived by his father, Calvin Joseph Ledet; five sons, Kevin P., Darrell J. and Rene Ledet, all of Brandon, Miss., Calvin P. Use of Brandon, and Philip Use of Alabama; two brothers, Gerald J. Ledet of Franklinton, and Glynn F. Ledet of Houma; three sisters, Gwendolyn Wallace, Susan Crosby and Lola Campbell, all of Houma; and numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Kearney of Redfield; and his mother, Rosalie Pye Ledet.

He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

The Rev. Earl David Parker

The Rev. Earl David Parker, 69, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Sanford, Fla., died at 9:39 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Community Funeral Home and from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Dularge Community Baptist Church. Wake services will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Dismissal services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Anniebell Castle Parker; seven sons, Earl Parker Jr. of Lake Monroe, Fla., Pontius, Erodius and Matthew Parker of Sanford, Steven Rockword, Josiah and Jonathan Parker, all of Houma; five daughters, Annie Mae, Ptolemy and Debra Parker, all of Sanford, Orelia and Nikki Parker, both of Houma; two brothers, Gilbert and Thomas Parker, both of Houma; four sisters, Doris Parker and Rosa Mary Thomas, both of Houma, Julia Parker and Alma Jean Pittman, both of Houston, Texas ; 30 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester and Viola Newton Parker; one son, Patrick Aurett Parker; two brothers, Larry and Sylvester Parker Jr.; and two sisters, Teresa Parker and Leona Jones.

He was a minister and self-employed carpenter, a U.S. Army veteran, a member of the Glory Bound Gospel Carolers and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Sanford.
