Royce Anthony Dempster, 48, a native of Des Allemands and resident of Gray, died at 2:15 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Samart Funeral Home in Houma and from 10 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Bayou Blue. Mass will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Roslyn Chiasson Dempster; his parents, Simon Dempster and Mary Helen Folse Dempster; two brothers, Darryl J. Dempster and Kurt J. Dempster; and one sister, Holly Ann Dwyre.
He was a member of the Cajun Rodeo Association and Terrebonne Livestock and Agricultural Fair Association.
Louis J. Loupe Sr.
Louis J. Loupe Sr., 72, a native of Cut Off and resident of Raceland, died at 1:09 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002.
Funeral services were scheduled for 10:30 a.m. today at St. Hilary Catholic Church, with burial in Resurrection Memorial Park Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian Norris Loupe; three daughters, Melody Benoit, Valencia Fonseca and Glenda Simons; two brothers, Albert Loupe Jr. and Carrol Loupe; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Loupe Sr. and Yola Blanchard Loupe.
Doyle James Prince Sr.
Doyle James Prince Sr., 70, a native of Lyons and resident of Houma, died at 5:17 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Grace Hebert Prince of Houma; four sons, David Prince and wife, Leigh of Houston, Texas , Brian Prince and wife, Suzanne of Lafayette, Karl Prince and wife, Donna and Doyle Prince Jr. and wife, Gayle of Houma; five daughters, Kathy LeBoeuf and husband, Damian, Brenda Schmitt of Houma, Joan Kelly and husband, James of Sikes, Karen Prince of San Jose, Calif., and Patricia Rhodes and husband, Todd of Houma; one brother, Raymond Prince of Gonzales; two sisters, Camille Prince Richard of Baton Rouge and Betty Prince Landry of Bayou Vista; and 22 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ulysses Prince and Sadie Boudreaux Prince; one brother, Ulysses Prince Jr.; and one sister, Josie Vicknair.
He was a U.S. Army veteran in World War II and was a retired manager of Welex. He was a member of the Lions Club.

Mary Ina Bailey Sumrall
Mary Ina Bailey Sumrall, 61, a native of Ruston and resident of Houma, died at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, 1999.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry L. Sumrall of Houma; five sons, David and Jerome Bourque, and Dwayne Sumrall, all of Houma; Richard Bourque Jr. of Corona, Calif., and Joey Bourque of Franklin; two daughters, Connie Groover of Houma, and Roye Marie Boatner of Baton Rouge; one brother, John Bailey of Thibodaux; two sisters, Benney Hardberger of Thibodaux, and Nancy Bordelon of Baldwin; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Authur McKay and Nancy Peral Mills Bailey; one stepdaughter, Sheryl Lynn Sumrall; and two brothers, Thomas "Shorty" Martin Bailey and Andrew McKay.
She was a homemaker.
Camille Joseph Fanguy
Camille Joseph Fanguy, 92, a native and resident of Houma, died at 8:16 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, 2001.
Visitation was scheduled from 1 p.m. to funeral time today at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houma. Mass was scheduled for 2 p.m. today at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys Breaux Fanguy; two daughters, Beverly Arieux and Corlis Cockerham; two brothers, Ernest Fanguy and Francis Fanguy; numerous grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Fanguy and Leah Duplantis Fanguy; two sons, Barry Fanguy and Gene Fanguy; one brother, Paul Fanguy; and three sisters, Mrs. Louis Giroir, Mrs. Alanzo Cancienne and Mrs. Allen Bourgeois.
He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Shanna Marie Deloach
Shanna Marie Deloach, 19, a native and resident of Houma, died at 4:45 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2001.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. to service time Friday at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. Religious services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Matherne/Rogers Cemetery
in Bayou Blue.
She is survived by her parents, Jessie Lee Deloach and Jeanie Marie Pontiff Deloach; her parién, Joseph Deloach, her nanny, Joanie Moore; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H.L. Deloach and Dudley Pontiff Sr.; one sister, Elizabeth Ann Deloach; her godchild, Keirra Faith Deloach; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Deanie Pontiff.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Irvin Joseph Guidry
Irvin Joseph Guidry, 89, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2001.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery

He is survived by one sister, Genevieve G. Brunette of Houma; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Moore Guidry; his parents, Armand Guidry and Angelic Deroche Guidry; two brothers, Alvin Guidry and Camille Guidry; and one sister, Elvenzel G. Triche.
He was a retired house painter and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
DAVID HOLLAND
Funeral services for Brother David Holland, 59, of DeRidder, were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, at Bilbo and Roberts Church of Christ with Brother Glen Knabe and Brother John Slocum officiating.
Burial was in Fellowship Cemetery
in Warren, Texas , under the direction of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home.
He died at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1999 at his home.
Survivors include two daughters, Lora Dee Slocum of Woodruff, S.C., and Wanda Beth Knabe of McCrory, Ark.; and four grandchildren.
JOE C. HENSON
Funeral for Joe C. Henson, 56, of Medidian, Miss., and formerly of DeRidder, will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29, at Barham Funeral Home in Meridian, with the Rev. Keith Grubbs officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. today, Nov. 28.
He died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999 at his home.
He was retired.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Ann Henson of Meridian; two daughters, Lisa Henson Massey of Meridian and Shelley Henson of DeRidder; three stepsons, Andrew Crabtree of College Station, Texas , Kiel Crabtree of Monroe and T.J. Brown III of Meridian; one sister, Jennie Watkins of Meridian; and two brothers, Buddy Henson and T.L. Henson, both of Meridian.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Louisiana High School Rodeo Association.
