Ida Menard Robinson
Funeral services were held Friday October 28, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Ida Menard Robinson, 84, who died Thursday October 27, 2005.
Survivors include three daughters Sue Lopez and her husband Wilton of Rayne, Beckey Robinson of Rayne, and Marlene Melancon and her husband David of Rayne; four sons Gerald, Jessie, Steven “Tuffy” Robinson all of Rayne and Ferlin “Kookie” Robinson of Mire. One daughter-in-law Emma Lou Robinson of Rayne; two brothers Davis Menard of Cankton, and Leelin Menard of Kaplan; seven sisters Telsie McNeese of Rayne, Edna Brasseaux of Carencro, Edmonia Goulas of Carencro, Mary Faul of Duson, Audrey Oathoudt of Rayne, Emily Degeyter of Lafayette, and Goldie Hanks of Lake Charles; 29 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and six great-great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Larry “Bull” Robinson, her parents Edmond and Emily Menard,one son Ronald Robinson, one brother Edward Menard, and two sisters Gracie Menard and Jane Laverta.
Burial was in the Arceneaux Cemetery under the direction of Gossen Funeral Home of Rayne.

Elaine Trahan Bourque
Duson - Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2005, at a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Theresa Catholic Church for Elaine Trahan Bourque, 91, who died at 8:25 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, in Crowley at her granddaughter’s home.
interment was in St. Theresa Cemetery.
Survivors include her two daughters, Helen Credeur, of Lafayette, Jane Lerlinn Kidder, of Duson; one son, Willis Bourque, of Lafayette; 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eymar Bourque; one daughter, Mary Grace Campbell; parents, Ophie Trahan and Edea Guillott; two sisters and seven brothers.
Pallbearers were Mark Alleman, Merritt Stakes, Ronnie Bourque, Corey Dodge, Keith Bourque and Zachery Brasseaux. Honorary pallbearers were Kenneth Begneaud, Aaron Dodge, Darrell Brasseaux, Gerard Brasseaux, Kevin Dodge and Robert Cooley.
A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday evening.
Visitation was observed at St. Theresa Church Hall Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. and 8 a.m. until service time on Wednesday.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice of Acadiana, Mr. & Mrs. Stanley Rabalais, Mark Alleman and family, CIndy and Merritt Stakes and family, and Sharon Stoute.
Arrangements were entrusted to Gossen Funeral Home Inc. of Rayne, 334-3141.

Martha Smith
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005, at Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Martha Smith, 62, who died Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 3:10 a.m. at her home in Crowley.
Burial will be in Istre Cemetery in Mermentau Cove with Br. Fred Monceaux officiating.
Visitation will be observed Wednesday from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. until the time of the service.
Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne is in charge of arrangements.

Eula Mae (Big Mamma) Hebert
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005, at Duhon Funeral in Rayne for Eula Mae (Big Mamma) Hebert, 70, of Crowley, who died Saturday, Nov. 5, at 3:15 p.m. at the Crowley Guest House.
Burial was in the Arceneaux Cemetery with Fr. Buddy Breaux officiating.
Visitation was observed Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
She is survived by two sons, Ricky Hebert and Robert Hebert, both of Panama City, Fla.; four sisters, Murlie Arceneaux, Winnie Blanchard and Mary Lee Broussard, all of Crowley, and Marie Cryer of Vidor, Texas ; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne was in charge of arrangements.

Brian Keith “Bubba” Foreman
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2005, at Indian Bayou Methodist Church for Brian Keith “Bubba” Foreman, 37, who died Friday, Nov. 4, at University Medical Center in Lafayette.
Burial was in Indian Bayou Methodist Cemetery with Pastor John Lacaseo officiating.
Visitation was observed Tuesday from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. until the time of the service at Duhon Funeral Home in Rayne.
He is survived by five sisters, Debbie Simon of Kaplan, Beverley Foreman of Indian Bayou, Julie Sonnier of Duson, Gwen Rich of Indian Bayou and Monica Richard of Maurice; two brothers, Danny Foreman of Duson and Jerry Foreman of Ridge; nine nieces, nine nephews, seven great nieces and three great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Foreman and Elaine Jane Luouette; paternal grandparents, Cornelius and Vera Burke Foreman; and maternal grandparents, Theodore Hugh Luquette and Esther Clostio.
Brian was a very beloved son, brother and uncle. He loved children and loved to barbecue. He will be sorrily missed by all.
Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne was in charge of arrangements.

Gwendolyn Lynn Bearb
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2005, at a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church for Gwendoyn Lynn Gonzales Bearb, 72, who died Wednesday, November 2, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. in Crowley American Legion Hospital.
Entombment was in St. Joseph Cemetery #2 Mausoleum.
Survivors include her husband, Kirby Bearb, of Rayne; one son, Perry Sanchez, Sr., of Rayne, one stepson, Brent Bearb, of Rayne; two brothers, Lewis Gonzales, Jr., of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and David Gonzales, of Fort Sumner, New Mexico; one sister, Patricia Comeaux, of Rayne; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Dommie Gonzales; a sister, Roselee Gonzales of Fort Sumner, New Mexico; a brother, Max M. Gonzazles of Albuquerque, New Mexcio; two daughters, Natalie Karler, Dommie Bonfiglio.
A rosary was recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday.
The family requested that the visiting hours be observed Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until service time Saturday.
Arrangements were entrusted to Gossen Funeral Home Inc. of Rayne.

Baby Clara Rae Leger
Graveside services were held Friday, Nov. 4, 2005, at 1 p.m., with Mr. Daniel Besse officiating, for Baby Clara Rae Leger, who died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005, in American Legion Hospital in Crowley.
Burial was in Arceneaux Cemetery here.
She is survived by her father, Bryan Leger of Rayne; her mother, Rachel Romero Leger, Rayne; maternal grandparents, Ula and John Romero of Rayne; paternal grandparents, Harold and Clara Leger, Broussard; three brothers, Brannon Leger, Johnathon Istre and Brandon Istre, all of Rayne; one sister, Taylor Istre, Rayne; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousin.
Duhon Funeral Home was in charge of arragements.

Carrol Joseph Broussard
Funeral services will be announced at a later date for Carroll Joseph Broussard, 69, of Crowley, who died at 3:55 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005, in the Crowley Guest Home.
He is survived by one daughter, Faye Aucoin, Rayne; one son, Frank Broussard, Rayne; three sisters, Lenora Hayes, Lake Arthur, Margie Vincent, Lake Charles, and Margaret Pellerin, Port Arthur, Texas ; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Broussard was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathleen Broussard; one grandson, Torrey Broussard; his parents, Mr. Frank Broussard and Agnes Thibodeaux Broussard; three brothers, Ben Broussard, William Brousard and Oscar Broussard; and two sisters, Florence Boudreaux and Thelma Broussard.
Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne was in charge of funeral arrangements.

Millie A. Domingue
Funeral service were held Saturday October 29, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church for Millie A. Domingue 73, who died Thursday, October 27, 2005, at her residence in Rayne.
Survivors include three daughters, Virginia “Vicky” Lee Judice of Broussard, Margaret Ruffin of Delcambre and Samantha Granger of Rayne; three sons, Samuel Adoins Domingue of New Iberia, Robert J. Domingue of Panama City Beach Fla., and Carroll E. Domingue of Erath; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Adoins Domingue; her parents, Samuel and Flora Lineberger Adams; two brothers, Robert Adams, and Samuel Thomas Adams’ two sisters, Mary A. Fergerson, and Margaret B. Adams; one daughter, Edna A. Domingue; and one grandson, Patrick C. Terry.
Visitation was observed Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until services.
Burial was in the Our lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Erath under the direction of Gossen Funeral Home of Rayne.

Corrine Raymond Jolivette
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. in the Shrine of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church, for Corrine Raymond Jolivette, 85, who died at 1:20 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31, 2005, at the American Legion Hospital in Crowley.
Burial will be in Our Mother of Mercy Cemetery.
Officiating for the services will be Father Richard Wagner, S.J.J.
Visitation will be in the church Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005, from 9 a.m. until time of services.
She is survived by three sons, Douglas “June” Jolivette, Sr.; Peter (Donna) Jolivette, of Rayne, and Michael Jolivette of Houston, Texas ; seven daughters, Helen Jolivette, Betty Jolivette, Margaret Reed, Geraldine Jolivette, and Martha Jolivette, all of Rayne, and Many (William) Flord of Houston, Texas , and Edna Jolivette of Conway, Ark.; 23 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, special friends and adoptive family members.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Frank and Mable Raymond; her husband, Douglas Jolivette, Sr.; her brother, Antoine Mercieri; a grandson, Dwayne Jolivette; and a great-grandson, Jermarion Jolivette.
Arrangements have been entrusted to H.G. Raphael Funeral Home of Lafayette.
