Allen Thomas Boudreaux
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2005, at a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church for Allen Thomas Boudreaux, 70, who died Monday, October 31, 2005 at his residence.
Entombment was in St. Joseph Cemetery #2 Mausoleum.
Survivors include four daughters, Yvette Holloway and husband Tommy, Michele Boudreaux, Brenda Daigle, Rachel Boudreaux, all of Rayne; one son, Brian Boudreaux and wife Gina, of Youngsville; two brothers, Gilford Boudreaux, Burleson, Texas , and Phillip Boudreaux, Jr., Fort Worth, Texas ; five sisters, Thelma Lanclos, of Leonville, Dorothy Istre, of Rayne, Mary Foreman, of Rayne, Gloria DeRoussell, of Lake Charles, Florina Hollier, of Leonville; eight grandchildren; and six great -grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip Boudreaux, Sr. and Isaure Simon Boudreaux; two brothers, Chester Emark Boudreaux and Chester James Boudreaux; one son-in-law, Perry Daigle; and one great grandchild, Parker Daigle.
A rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.
The family requested that the visiting hours be observed Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
Arrangements were entrusted to Gossen Funeral Home Inc. of Rayne.

Elvis “Monk” Fusilier
BRANCH –– Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 24, 2005, at Guidry Funeral Home Chapel, for Elvis “Monk” Fusilier, 88, who died at 4:40 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005, at his residence in Branch.
Survivors include his wife, Leiza Richard Fusilier; three sons, Thomas Fusilier and friend Mary Hebert of Branch, John E. Fusilier and friend Diane Bergeron of Rayne, and Mark Fusilier and wife Louise of Jackson , Miss.; two daughters, Veronica Thevis and husband, Paul, of Branch, and Cadida “Candy” Russell of Austin, Texas ; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers; one sister, and one granddaughter.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 3 to 10 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, and from 8 a.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Monday.
He was a veteran of World War II.
Arrangements were entrusted to Guidry Funeral Home of Church Point.

Vivian Fruge’
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, 2005, in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne, with Rev. Mr. Rodless Leleux officiating, for Vivian Fruge’, 78, of Crowley, who died at 10:35 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005, in Crowley’s Southwind Nursing Home.
Burial was in the Acadia Resthaven Cemetery in Crowley.
A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m.Sunday in the funeral home chapel.
Visitation was observed Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. until time of services.
She is survived by one daughter, Barbara and her husband Floyd Savant of Maxie; three grandsons and their spouses, Jason and Mary Pastor of Crowley, and Chad and Julie Pastor and Cody and Stephanie Pastor, all of Egan; and seven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Fruge was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Curley Fruge’; her parents, Alcee and Ourea Harrington Simoneaux; four sisters, Agnes Louvierre, Mabel Darby, Irene Hargraves and Elaine Chapman; two brothers, Milton and Melvin Simoneaux.
She was a member of St.Michael Catholic Church, and her hobbies were cooking for family and friends. She had a great love of music, especially French.
Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne was in charge of arrangements.

Jeanne Myers Boudreaux
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m.. Wednesday, October 26, 2005, at a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church for Jeanne Myers Boudreaux, 86, who died Saturday, October 22, 2005.
interment was in St. Joseph Cemetery #2.
Survivors include; one son, Roland J. Boudreaux and wife Janet, of Rayne; three grandsons, Jude Boudreaux and wife Josepha, Marcus Boudreaux and wife Lisa, Todd Boudreaux and wife Cherie; three step grandsons, Johann, Brian and Jeffery Ronkartz; seven great grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Darby Boudreaux, of New Iberia; former daughter-in-law, Linda T. McDaniel; two sisters, Lorena Yelverton, and Lois Myers; three brothers, Roy Myers, Charles Myers, and Robert Myers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest L. Boudreaux; eldest son, Harold "Billie" Boudreaux; parents, Arthur Myers, Jr. and Constance Dartz Myers; three brothers, Oswald Myers, Roland Myers, and Alton Myers.
Pallbearers were her grandsons and step grandsons.
A rosary was recited at 7: 00 p.m. Tuesday.
The family requested that the visiting hours be observed Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. until service time.
Arrangements were entrusted to Gossen Funeral Home Inc. of Rayne.

Angela Comeaux Morvant
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, 2005, at Assumption Church in Mire for Angela Comeaux Morvant, 93, of Rayne, who died at 3:10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
Burial was in Assumption Cemetery in Mire with Msgr. Russell Harrington, pastor, officiating.
A rosary was said at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the funeral home.
Visitation was observed Wednesday at 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. and again on Thursday from 8 a.m. until the time of the service.
She is survived by four sons and their spouses, Elton and Marilyn Soileaux, Adam and Annie Soileaux Sr., Gervais Soileaux, and Rodney and Jennifer Soileaux, all of Rayne; 19 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her two husbands, first husband Henry Soileaux and second husband Theodule Morvant; one daughter, Eunice Bearb; one son, Clarence Soileaux; one daughter-in-law, Betty Soileaux; her parents, Theobert and Tozar Melancon Comeaux; six brothers, Jules, Nodel, Leonard, Charles, Autry and Emile Comeaux; and two sisters, Helena Credeur and Omisia Breaux.
Pallbearers were her grandsons, Henry Soileaux, Larry Bearb, Clarence Bearb, Adam Soileaux Jr., Wade Soileaux and Jasper Leger.
Honorary pallbearers were her grandsons, Darrell Soileaux, Kenneth Soileaux, Brock Soileaux and Jared Soileaux.
Readers for the Mass of christian burial were Sheryl S. Touchet, Gwen S. Moneaux and Lisa S. Soileaux.
Mrs. Morvant was a life-long resident of the Mire community.
Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne was in charge of arrangements.

Patricia “Pat” Hebert
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13, 2005, in the funeral home chapel for Patricia “Pat” Hebet, 55, of Abbeville, who died in her home at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2005.
A rosary was recited at 6 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel.
Visitation was observed Thursday from 4 to 10 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Burial was in Old Crowley Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, John Hebert, Sr., Abbeville; two sons and spouses, Chester and Donna Hanks, Morse, and Michael Hanks, Friscoe, Texas ; two daughters, Pamela Nyugen and Tracy Hebert, both of Abbeville; one sister Carolyn Hoffpauir and her husband Michael of Kaplan; a half-sister, Elizabeth Schexnieder, Rayne; one brother, Joseph Schexnieder, Jr. and wife, Tammy, Crowley; 16 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; two stepsons and their wives, Michael and Robbie Hebert, Broussard, and Randy and Anna Hebert, Youngsville.
Mrs. Hebert was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Joseph Schexnieder, Sr. and Mrs. Evan Primeaux; one son, John H. Hebert, Jr., and one sister, Sheryle Davis.
Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne was in charge of funeral arrangements.

Paul Rene’ Bellamy
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 15, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at the Shrine of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church for Paul Rene’ Bellamy, 47, who died Tuesday, October 11, 2005, at University Medical Center in Lafayette. The Rev. Joseph Campion, SSJ, officiated the services.
interment was in the church cemetery.
The son of the late Rev. Mr. Coley M. Bellamy and the former Louise Mildred Boudreaux, Paul was a native and resident of Rayne. He graduated from Rayne Catholic Elementary and Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish and attended USL, now the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
He also served in the United States Marine Corps.
Survivors include a daughter, Alysia Bellamy Johnson and spouse, Calvin, of Lake Charles; a granddaughter, Victoria of Lake Charles; aunts, Hilda T. Bellamy of San Antonio, Texas , Brenda B. Francis of Rayne, Paula A. Pitre and spouse, Anthony, of Jennings, Christine D. Francis and spouse, Lollo, of Lake Charles and Patricia Johnson of Crowley; an uncle, Delmar J. Allen of Duson; and a host of cousins and friends.
Paul Rene’ was preceded in death by his parents; his paternal grandparents, Coley Bellamy, Sr. and the former Hattie Conner; his maternal grandparents, R. L. Boudreaux and the former Victoria Rochon; his uncle, Herbert Bellamy and aunts, Shirley A. Shallow and Lorene Z. St. Mary.
Visitation was held Saturday, October 15, 2005, at the Shrine of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church beginning at 8 a.m. until time of services.
Syrie Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.

Clinton Patrick LeBlanc
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 13, 2005, in the Duhon Funeral Home chapel, with Father Bill Ruskoski officiating, for Clinton Patrick LeBlanc , 37, of Breaux Bridge, who died Sunday, October 9, 2005, at 7:15 a.m. in Avery, Texas .
A rosary was recited Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Burial was in Evangeline Memorial Gardens in Carencro.
Visitation was observed from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 a.m. to time of services Thursday.
He is survived by his wife, Tonya LeBlanc , Breaux Bridge; two daughters, Nicole LeBlanc and Brook LeBlanc , both of Breaux Bridge; his parents, Patrick and Patsy Burleigh LeBlanc , Mire; one grandson, Anthony Patrick LeBlanc , Breaux Bridge; three sisters, Pam Johnson and Tammy Marino, both of Lafayette, and Janice Bearb, Church Point; four nieces and three nephews.
Mr. LeBlanc was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William and Eva Burleigh; his paternal grandparents, Judice and Edola LeBlanc ; one uncle, Willie LeBlanc ; and his godmother, Earline Venable.
He served our country in the United States National Guard.
He was a 1986 Rayne High graduate and also loved riding Harley motorcycles and computers.
He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
