Ora was a lifetime member of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Rayne. At an early age she utilized her spiritual gift and love for gospel music to ministering as organist at all the Masses. Eagerly she served as Eucharistic Minister, Education Commissioner for the Parish Council, Associate Member of the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament (ASBS), and still lent her gift of singing to the choir, namely, “The Saturday Choir.

This was just another illustration of her continued displayed passion until declining health disabled her.
A loving mother, an affectionate grandmother, helpful sister-in-law, a given aunt, a true friend, a talented musician, a daily devotee to the Virgin Mary through the Rosary, a respected Junior Daughter Counselor, an avid reader, a dedicated worker, a neighbor, and a most notably a God-fearing Christian woman, all describe Ora Lee Cole-Wiltz.
