Trudy T. Hodge
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2002, in St. Joseph Catholic Church here, with Father Bill Ruskouski officiating, for Trudy T. Hodge, 47, of Crowley, who died at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2002, in Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
A rosary was recited Friday night in the funeral home chapel.
Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery No. 2 in Rayne.
She is survived by her husband, Andy Hodge, Crowley; two sons, Andy Hodge, Jr., and Wilfred Hodge, both of Crowley; four daughters, Nicholl Hodge, Tiffany Hodge, Chelsea Hodge, and Sierra Hodge, all of Crowley; her mother, Lucille Trahan, Rayne; one brother, John Dale Trahan, Duson; and four grandchildren, Damien Peters, Daniel LaCombe, Jr., Derek Peters, and David LaCombe.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wilfred Trahan.
Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Lenis J. Domingue
RAGLEY –– Lenis J. Domingue, 77, died on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2002, in a Lake Charles hospital.
He was born in Rayne and lived in Sulphur for 46 years and Ragley for 31 years.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was VFW Post 8107 commander for nine years. He was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church in Ragley and Iron Workers Local 710. He was a well-know horse trainer.
Survivors include his wife, Jane C. Domingue of Ragley, one daughter, Peggy Chesson of Sulphur; two brothers, Wallace Domingue of Carlyss and Tony Domingue of Alice, Texas ; three sisters, Eula Mae Comeaux. Bertha Royer and Elma Romero, all of Rayne; and five grandchildren, Mickey Domingue, David Lafleur, Rusty Domingue, Monica Lafleur, and Robert Lafleur.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Domingue of Sulphur; his father, Amelcar Domingue, and his mother, Zula Mae; a brother, Leroy (Pete) Domingue, and a sister, Antionette Boudreaux.
His funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23, 2003 in the Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. McMillan officiated.
His pallbearers were Rusty Domingue, David LaFleur, Robert J.B. LaFleur
Burial was in the Roselawn Cemetery.

George Hebert (Kib) Johnson
REEVES –– Funeral services for George Hebert (Kib) Johnson were held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2002 in Reeves Bible Church, with the Rev. Glenn Ducharme officiating.
Burial was in the Lyles Cemetery, Reeves, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home of Oakdale.
Mr. Johnson , 94, of Reeves died at 8:31 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2002, in Christus St. Patrick Hospital, Lake Charles.
He was a native of Reeves. He graduated from Reeves High School in 1925 and attended La. State Normal College in Natchitoches, La. In 1928 he went to Progress, Miss., taught for two years and was principal the last year. He returned to Allen Parish and taught in Fairview and Oakdale.
He then went to Rayne and in 1944-45 was the football coach to the State Championship Team that year.
He returned to Reeves in 1945 and was principal in 1946. In 1947, he received his master’s degree from LSU.
He is survived by one son, George Kim Johnson of West Chester, Penn.; three grandchildren, Scott Johnson and Laura Johnson of Baton Rouge, and Erin Johnson of Media, Penn.; and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the George H. and Kathryn Johnson Scholarship Fund at Reeves High School.

Edith Hoffpauir
CROWLEY –– Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2002, in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Truman Stagg officiating, for Edith Hoffpauir, 82, of Crowley, who died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2002, in Crowley’s American Legion Hospital.
Burial was in Indian Bayou Cemetery.
She is survived by four brothers, Rufus F. Hoffpauir, Asa A. Hoffpauir and Wilson R. Hoffpauir, all of Crowley, and Albert J. Hoffpauir, Deland, Fla.; and a nephew, Hazen H. Hoffpauir, New Orleans.
Ms. Hoffpauir was preceded in death by her husband, Albert N. Hoffpauir; her parents, Rufus and Frances Hoffpauir; and three sisters, Eunice Faulk, Irene Hoffpauir and Beulah Sims.
Duhon Funeral Home of Crowley was in charge of funeral arrangements.

Yolande Duhon Guidry
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30, 2002, in St. Joseph Catholic Church here, with Father Jules Arceneaux officiating, for Yolande Duhon Guidry, 79, of Rayne, who died at 4:15 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2002, in Lafayette General Medical Center.
A rosary was recited Monday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery No. 2.
She is survived by six sons, Douglas (Bee) Guidry, Furnell (Tee) Guidry, Carl (Boo) Guidry, Ricky Guidry, Kenneth Guidry and Raymond (Bic) Guidry, all of Rayne; seven daughters, Dolores McCullough, Crowley, and Adlia Alleman, Sue Meche, Sandra Guidry, Mona Lopez, Katie Johnson and Arlene Guidry, all of Rayne; 25 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Ms. Guidry was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Guidry; one son, Wesley Guidry; one great-grandson, Jeffery Broussard; her parents, Cleopha and Felima Duhon; five brothers, Elias, Watson, Waddie, Willie and Martin Duhon; and two sisters, Odile Breaux and Della DeRouen.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Lafayette General Hospital and family and friends for their prayers.

Craig A. Guidry
ROANOKE, VA. –– Craig A. Guidry, 39, originally of Rayne, died unexpedtedly Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2002, in Roanoke, Va. of unknown causes awaiting an autopsy report.
He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Daleville, Va. He was a truck driver for Pitt Ohio Express.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy, a son, Cole, and stepdaughter, Kayla, all of Troutville, Va.; parents, Viola and Wallace Guidry, Jr., of Rayne; three sisters and spouses, Roxane and Craig Champagne, Duson, Rachel and Paul Boone of Richard, and Selena and Kevin Cormier of Church Point; two brothers and their spouses, Mike and Lelia Leger Guidry of Rayne and Jason and Courtney Guidry of Church Point; nieces and nephews, Daryth, Spencer and Cain Champagne, Riley and Micah Guidry, Phillip, Ryker and Alyssa Boone, Jacob, Shawn Claire and Alex Guidry, Loren and Kevin “KC” Cormier II, and a great-niece Chole’ Barras; paternal grandparents, Lena and Wallace Guidry, Sr., of Rayne; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mr. Guidry was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathy Perry Guidry and one daughter, Katelyn Guidry.
Craig was a 1981 graduate of Rayne High School. He loved playing football and baseball with his family and friends.
Craig’s last wishes were to be cremated. A memorial will be held in Rayne at a later date. A memorial service was held on Monday, Dec. 30, 2002, at 7 p.m. at the Rader Daleville Chapel with Mr. Kenneth Crowder officiating.
Rader Daleville Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Willie Mae Hayes Foux
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel here, with the Rev. Charles Floyd officiating, for Willie Mae Hayes Foux, 87, of Crowley, who died at 10:02 a.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2002, in the Crowley Guest Home.
Burial was in the Methodist Cemetery in Branch.
She is survived by one daughter and her husband, Sandra and Curtis Guidry of Branch; three grandchildren, Monica Guidry, Nicole and Carl Gautreaux and Michelle Guidry; and one great-grandchild, Christopher Savoy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Foux; one son, Dale Foux; her parents, Catherine and Willie Hayes; three sisters, Onie Dunbar, Flossie Marquette and Glynn Silvernail; and one brother, Egbert Hayes.
Willie and her husband owned and operated Foux’s Grocery Store in the Branch Community for forty years.
Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne was in charge of arrangements.

Richard Joseph Leger
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, 2002, in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Thomas Vu officiating, for Richard Joseph Leger, 74, of Rayne, who died at 4:15 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, 2002, at his home here.
A rosary was prayed Saturday at 7 p.m.
Burial was in the Leger Cemetery in Rayne.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Leger, Rayne; two sons and their spouses, Ricky and Mary Leger, Rayne, and Chris and Amanda Leger, Johnson ; three daughters and their spouses, Mona and David Easterling and Annette and Rod Ismel, all of Conroe, Texas , and Lisa and Clyde Richard, Rayne; three stepdaughters and their spouses, Susan and Rodney Tate, Diedra and Roy Meaux, Kaplan, and Tammy Christian, Rayne; one stepson and his wife, Robert and Cheryl Christian, Kaplan; one brother, Cleveland Leger, Jr., Rayne; two sisters, Hilda Breaux, Rayne and Ida Ledger, Lafyette; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Leger served in the U.S. Amry during the Korean War. He was the owner of K&R Services in Ridge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Euphilie and Cleveland Leger.
Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne was in charge of funeral arrangements.
