Rudy Jamenson Linscomb
CHURCH POINT ––Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003, in St. Edwards Catholic Church in Richard, with Father Dan Edwards officiating, for Rudy Jamenson Linscomb, 22, of Church Point, who died at his home Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2003.
A rosary was recited Friday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Burial was in the St. Edwards Cemetery in Richard.
He is survived by one son, Collin Linscomb, Church Point; a companion, Meagan Meche, Church Point; his mother and stepfather, Tina and Christopher Nelson, St. Martinville; his father and stepmother, Tim and Jane Fogelman, Crowley; one sister, Ashley Linscomb, St. Martinville; one brother, Travis Fogelman, Crowley; paternal grandmother, Mearl Fogelman, Crowley; two uncles, Ricky and Kermit; and five aunts, Norma, Theresa, Lucille, Glenda and Linda.
Rudy attended Rayne High School.
He was preceded in death by his maternal granparents, Essie and Earl Lejeune, and his paternal grandfather, Rudy Fogelman, Sr.
Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne was in charge of funeral arrangements.

Ira G. ‘Dutch’ Geer
BROOKVILLE, PA. ––Ira G. “Dutch” Geer, 86, RR#, Box 106 C., Brookville, Pa., died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003, at his home.
A funeral service was held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2003, at the funeral home with the Rev. Joseph Staszewski officiating.
Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Brookville.
Born May 4, 1917, in Green Valley, he was the son of the late Glenn and Sarah Himes Geer.
He was married to Josselin Boudreaux in Rayne,La., July 22, 1944. She survives.
He was a World War IIveteran, having served with the 9th Armored Division at the Battle of the Bulge, Bastogne, and Ramagan Bridge.
He worked as an oil well driller in Wyoming, Texas and Louisiana .
He was a member of the American Legion in Brookville and the Grace Lutheran Church in Brookville.
He is also survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Regan of Egan, La., and Debra Menchini of Montgomery, N.Y.; two sons, Glenn Geer of Reynoldsville and Robert Geer of Knox; one sister, Lilly Ann Gaston of Brookville; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
McKinney Funeral Home of Brookville, Pa., was in charge of funeral arrangements.

Louise Bellamy
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003, in Our Mother of Mercy Church, with Father Richard Wagner, S.S.J., officiating, for Louise Mildred Boudreaux Bellamy, 72, of Rayne, who died Monday, Sept. 29, 2003, at 1:02 a.m. in Our Lady ofLourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
Visitation will be observed Saturday at 8 a.m. until time of services on Saturday.
A rosary will be recited Saturday at 10:15 a.m.
Burial will be in Our Mother of Mercy Cemetery.
She is survived by one son, Paul Bellamy, Rayne; four sisters, Brenda B. Francis, Rayne, Paula A. Pitre, Jennings, Christine D. Francis, Lake Charles, and Patricia J. Norris, Crowley; a granddaughter, Alysia B. Johnson , Lake Charles; a sister-in-law, Hilda T. Bellamy, San Antonio, Texas ; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bellamy retired from teaching at the following schools:Acadia Parish Training School (Armstrong High and Armstrong Middle). She also taught at Rayne High School. She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, Inc., a member of the Knights of Peter Claver Auxiliary Court 75 at Our Mother of Mercy Church, an associate of the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament, of the Louisiana Democratic Central Committe and National Association of University Women. She taught CCD, and was an Eucharistic minister and lector at Our Mother.
Mrs. Bellamy was a member of many other organizations and a well loved and respected member of the community.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Coley Bellamy; her parents, Victoria Rochon and Renal Boudreaux; one brother, R.L. Boudreaux; two sisters, Lorene Z. St. Mary, and Shirley Allen Challow; and brother-in-law, Herbert Bellamy.
Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne was in charge of arrangements.

Judith (Judy) Comeaux
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2003, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Father Bill Ruskoski officiating, for Judith (Judy)Comeaux, 59, of Rayne, who died at 4:44 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, 2003, at her home in Rayne.
A rosary was recited Monday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery No. 2.
She is survived by her husband, Junius Comeaux, Sr., Rayne; one son and his spouse, Junius and Jessica Comeaux, Jr., Rayne; two daughters and their spouses, Jaessa Hebert and Karl Trahan, Crowley, Joane Comeaux and Murray Romero, Indian Bayou; father, Ellzey Terro, Indian Bayou; one sister and her spouse, Patricia (Pat) And Albert Leger, Crowley; two brothers and their spouses, Douglas and Linda Terro, Rayne, and Eugene Terrro, Indian Bayou; 10 grandchildren, Kristal Hebert, Karrie Jebert, Mark Hebert, Jr., Kelsie Hebert, Dustin LeBlanc , Corey LeBlanc , Bryson LeBlanc , Nicolas Romero, Junius R. Comeaux, III, Tyler Menard; and two step-grandchildren, Brittany Romero and Tyler Romero.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lydia Boullion Terro; one brother, Darrel Terro; son-in-law, Mark Hebert, Sr, and a sister-in-law, Barbara Maine Terro.
Pallbearers were Murray Romero, Kark Trahan, Shane Leger, Vicki Terro, Mark Hebert, Jr., and Kristal Hebert. Honorary pallbearers were Dustin LeBlanc , Corey LeBlanc , Bryson LeBlanc , Douglas Terrro, Eugene Terro, Nicholas Romero, Junius Comeaux III, and Tyler Menard.
She was an Avon representative for 28 years before retiring. Judy had been ill for the past six years.

Mrs. Earl Johnson
CHURCH POINT –– Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m.Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003, in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church here, with Father Francis Bourgeois officiating, for Mrs. Earl Johnson , nee Ora Latiolais, 91, of Church Point, who died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2003, at 8:05 p.m.
A rosary was recited by Father Bourgeois at 7 p.m. Friday.
Burial was in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
She is survived by a son, Henry Johnson , Higginbotham Community; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Johnson ; one son, Lawrence Johnson ; a grandchild, John Michael Johnson ; a great-grandchild, Ren Mitchell Romero; her parents, Louis and Mary Mae Bergeron Bourgeois Latiolais; five brothers; and three sisters.
Guidry Funeral Home of Church Point was in charge of funeral arrangements.

Perry Lynn Daigle
Perry Lynn Daigle, 41, died Friday, Sept. 19, 2003, in Beaumont, Texas .
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. in a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church here.
Visiting hours were observed from 10 a.m. Monday until time of funeral services.
A rosary was prayed at 1 p.m. Monday.
Arrangements were entrusted to Gossen Funeral Home of Rayne.

Helen S. Harrington
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, 2003, at the Wesley Methodist Church in Crowley, with the Rev. Truman Stagg officiating, for Helen S. Harrington, 88, of Jennings, who died at her home Monday, Sept. 22, at 8:40 p.m.
Burial was in the Indian Bayou Methodist Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday until 10 p.m. and reopen at 8 a.m. until time of services.
She is survived by three daughters, Josephine H. LeBlanc , Houma, Elaine H. Fontenot, Jennings, and Jeanelle H. Weakley, Crowley; one sister, Alam Sensat, Texas ; one brother, Jennings Smith, Lake Charles; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennett Harrington; her parents, Hines and Zoraphine Smith; one grandson, Chad Hoffpauir; one great-grandson, Jason Trahan, Jr. and siblings. She was a lifetime honorary member of the board at Westley Methodist Church and very active in all church functions and activities.

Trey Patrick Bordes
Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, at a Mass of Christian burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church for Trey Patrick Bordes, 20- month-old son of W. Pat and Jessica Bourgeois Bordes II, who died at American Legion Hospital in Crowley.
interment was in St. Joseph Cemetery #2.
Survivors include his parents, W. Pat and Jessica Bourgeois Bordes II, of Rayne; one sister, Shelby Bordes, of Rayne; maternal grandmother and step grandfather, Bertha and Buddy Latour, of Lake Charles; maternal grandfather Jesse F. Bourgeois, of Lawtell; paternal grandparents, Winford “Pat” and Loretta Bordes I, of Rayne; paternal great grandmother, Estelle Courville, of Eunice; aunts and uncles Coty and Jena Bordes, of Crowley, Cy and Julie Bordes Morgan, of Rayne, Scott and Rolanda Latour, of Gillus, La., Hope Bourgeois, of Houston, Texas ., Joey Latour, of Moss Bluff, Brad Latour, of De Ridder; his godparents, Penny Dicken, Cy Morgan; Cousins Andrew Bordes, Cailey Morgan, Deuce Morgan.
A Rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. Monday.
Visiting hours were observed from 4 p.m. Monday until time of service Tuesday.
Arrangements were entrusted to Gossen Funeral Home Inc. of Rayne.

Clarice Fuselier
CROWLEY ––Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, 2003, in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, with Father Rusti Richard officiating, for Clarice Fuselier, 65, of Crowley, who died at 2:48 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2003, in Crowley’s American Legion Hospital.
A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel.
Burial was in Arceneaux Cemetery in Mire.
She is survived by her husband, James Fuselier, of Crowley; two daughters, Lori Fuselier and Tamara Fuselier, both of Crowley; three sons, Ronald Fuselier, Pitkin, David Fuselier, Lake Charles, and Jamey Fuselier, Crowley; one sister, Gertrude Bonin, Jennings; four brothers, Horace Doucet, Sr., Crowley, Ray John Doucet, Duson, and Tommy James Doucet and Albert Doucet, both of Egan; and nine grandchildren.
Mrs. Fuselier was preceded in death by a daughter, Sue Ellen Richard; her parents, Adam and Josephine Doucet, Jr., and two brothers, William Dupre and Constance Dupre.
