Funeral services for Isabella Sunshine Hancock, infant, were held July 1 at the Ramah Cemetery
near Ashland with Bill Staples officiating. She died June 29 at Lincoln General Hospital.
Survivors include her parents, Shad and Pam Hancock of Jonesboro; paternal grandparents, Lynda Lindsey of Houma, Paul Hancock of Lumberton, Texas and Dale and Darla Cash of West Monroe; maternal grandparents Belinda and Ricky Perkins of Jonesboro and Ernest M. Norman of Winnfield; paternal great-grandmother Josephine Hatfield of Houma; and a host of aunts uncles and other relatives.
Services were under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

John Lester, 94
Funeral services for John Henry Lester, 94, of Jonesboro were held July 3 at the Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. R.C. Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Harmony Grove Cemetery
in Gaars Mill.
Mr. Lester died July 1 at Lincoln General Hospital.
Born Dec. 10, 1907 in Dry Prong, he was a retired bus driver.He was preceded in death by his wives, Ethel Lester and Christine Lester and son, John Albert Lester.
He is survived by daughters, Effie Lee Holmes of Mandeville, Jeanne Catherine Walsworth and husband Troyce of Jonesboro, Johnnie Walsworth and husband Ronald of Quitman and Beulah Simmons of Jonesboro; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were David Andrews, Sam Lamkin, Neil Lowe, Ray Roush, L.E. Wells, Charles Worthington and Paul Colman.
Services were under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home.
Robinson
Lillian Robinson, 94
Funeral services for Lillian Smith Robinson, 94, of Jonesboro were held July 5 at the Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Willis Russell and Tommy Gray officiating. Burial followed in the Springhill Cemetery.
Mrs. Robinson died July 3 at Healthsouth North Louisiana Rehabilitation Hospital.
Born Oct. 4, 1907 in Bienville, she was a housewife.
She is survived by her son, Dewey Robinson of Monroe; brother, Earl Smith of Bienville; 13 grandchildren; and a number of great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were James Fitzpatrick, Robbie Robinson, Charlie Smith, Dennis Wayne Smith, Ronnie DelRio and Jimmy Robinson. Services were under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home.
Aldy
Imogene Aldy, 78
Funeral services for Imogene Elizabeth Aldy, 78, of Jonesboro were held June 27 at the Antioch Cemetery
in Quitman with the Rev. Don Doughty officiating.
Mrs. Aldy died June 26 at Jackson Manor.
Born March 13, 1924 in Lorraine, Kan., she was a housewife.
She is survived by her sons, Dennis David Aldy and wife Roxie of Jonesboro and Jerry Wayne Aldy and wife Melba of Kirbyville, Texas ; daughter, Patricia Ann Womack and husband Buddy of Jonesboro; sister, Ruth Stout of Ellsworth, Kan.; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Services were under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home.
Howard
Sheila Howard, 24
Funeral services for Sheila Miles Howard, 24, of Jonesboro were held June 25 at the Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dwayne M. Boudreaux and Steve Palmer officiating. Burial followed in the Fellowship Cemetery
in Quitman.
Mrs. Howard died June 23 at the LSU Medical Center.Born Oct. 1, 1977 in Jonesboro, she was a certified nurse’s aide.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel Howard of Jonesboro; parents, Mike and Teresa Miles of Quitman; sister, Melinda Miles of Quitman; maternal grandparents, Jo Ann and Bobby Brinson of Quitman; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Hinton of Minden; and maternal great-grandmother, Florence Parker of Sikes.
Honorary pallbearers were Hardie Carson, Delbert Clark, Jim Finton, Robert Gammill, Ed Hughes, Jimmy Robinson, George Schmidt, Stacey Whitman, L.B. Jones, Adam Howard, Ronnie Womack, Jerry Ginn, John Hayes, Stanley Parker, Josh Howard, Gary Gatlin, Buddy Taylor , Jimmy Rogers, Fred Tolar, Terry Johnston, Kurt Hummel and Wayne Neuroth.
Pallbearers were Bobby Joe Folks, Robert Caulden, Travis Hall, Randal Harrington, Jerry Hutchinson, Bobby Schmidt, Doug Stokes and Bruce Whitman.

Johnson
Ira Johnson , 72
Funeral services for Ira George “I.G.” Johnson , 72, of Sunnyside, Wash. were held July 2 at the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens. Mr. Johnson died June 26 at his home.
Born Aug. 8, 1929 to John Wesley and Hareace (Walker) Johnson in Wyatt, he received his education in the Walker Community School and Jonesboro-Hodge High School. After high school, he entered the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bobby Ray Johnson ; and step-brother, Doyle B. Borland.
He is survived by his wife Earle Johnson of Sunnyside; daughters, Theresa Fisher and husband Timothy of Yakima, Wash and Ralene Johnson of Sunnyside; sons, Keith Johnson of Sunnyside and Dennis Johnson and wife Liz of Sunnyside; sister, Dorene Johnson Poole of Monroe; step-brothers, Bill, Donnis and Bobby; step-sisters, Betty, Ella and Susie; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home of Sunnyside.

Virgie Smith, 91
Funeral services for Virgie M. Smith, 91, of Jonesboro were held June 27 at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Staples and Ladonna Green officiating. Burial followed in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith died June 24 in the Jackson Parish Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was a grocery store cashier. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Hurl H. Hall and Odell Smith; and daughters, Mary Hall Griffin and Wanda Hall Hopping.
She is survived by step-son, Wallace Smith and wife Carla of Lake Charles; daughter, Betty Womack and husband Kenneth of Jonesboro; sister Lillie Clark of Hooks, Texas ; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
Services were under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
Kidd
Karla Kidd
Karla Lee Kidd departed this life on March 20, 2003, leaving behind to cherish her memory, her son, Kaelan, her mother, Ruth Ann, her sister, Holly, her brother, Jonathan, and extended family and friends. Karla was the daughter of C.A. and Ruth Ann Kidd, the granddaughter of Babe and Annie Kidd of Gibsland and Clyde and Lummie Butler of Liberty Hill. A Memorial Service was held on Sunday, March 23, at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Edmonds Funeral Home.

Elizabeth Michaud, 85
A memorial mass for “Frankie” Elizabeth Michaud, 85, of Ruston will be held at 4 p.m. on March 29 at St. Lucy Catholic Church with Father Bob Leonhardt officiating.
Mrs. Michaud died March 18 in Ruston.
Born Sept. 27, 1917 in Merryville, she was a housewife.
Mrs. Michaud was preceded in death by her husband James A. Michaud.
She is survived by sons, Steve Michaud and wife Beverly of Huntsville, Ala., Ronnie Michaud and wife Sharon of Ruston, Rene Michaud of Orlando, Fla. and Chris Michaud and wife Fonny of Encinitas, Calif.; daughters, Carolyn Burnette and husband Jack of Ruston, Anita McMillan and husband Eddie of Perdido Key, Fla. and Melanie Warrne and husband Chris of Ruston; brother, Billie Watts and wife Dale of Lake Charles; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home.
Osborne
Katherine Osborne, 63
Funeral services for Katherine Watson Osborne, 63, of Winnsboro were held March 26 at the chapel at Community Memorial Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Old Pine Hill Cemetery
near Sicily Island.
Mrs. Osborne died March 23 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe.
She was a homemaker and a resident of Franklin Parish.
Mrs. Osborne is survived by daughters, Kathy Ann Donaldson and husband Danny of Downsville, Patricia Arndt of Tallulah, Stephanie Boone of Winnsboro and Wendy Truman and husband Tim of Walnut Grove, Ga.; sister, Francis Sullivan of Hodge; brother, Kenneth McCoy and wife Norma of Wichita Falls, Texas ; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Kristopher Boone, Lee Donaldson, Danny Donaldson Jr., Kenneth McLeland, Terry McLeland and Steve Whitton.
Services were under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home.
