Joseph Kelly, 68
Funeral services for Joseph Thomas Kelly, 68, of Jonesboro were held Aug. 4 at the Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Joey Bignar and Charles Lutrick officiating. Burial followed in the Dean Cemetery near Marion.
Mr. Kelly died July 31 at the V.A. Medical Center.
Born Jan. 2, 1935 in Marion, he was a director of insurance and a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Kelly served in the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eula Mae Day and James Thomas Kelly; one daughter, Debra Morris; and one brother, Tommy Gene Kelly.
He is survived by his wife Mary Kelly of Jonesboro; daughters, Brenda Lowe and husband Jimmy of Jonesboro and Becky Hensley and husband Rod of Ingram; sons, Stewart W. Kelly and wife Marcey of Marion, James H. Kelly and wife Peggy of Minden, Jeffrey T. Kelly and wife Patricia of Marion, Gregory A. Kelly of Brooksville, Fla., Martin G. Kelly and wife Holly of Marion, Leslie “JoJo” B. Kelly of Groveport, Ohio, Richard Morris of Jonesboro and Jeffrey Brooks and wife Lisa of Goldonna; brothers, Edward Kelly of Marion and Paul Kelly of Springhill, Fla.; 25 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jason Kelly, Brandon Kelly, Steven Smith, Daniel Barnes, Derrick Morris and Eric Davidson.
Services were under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home.

Price
Carroll Price, 22
Funeral services for Carroll Matthew Price, 22, of Saline were held Aug. 1 at the Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Rodney Vinzant, Hilda Antee and Jeff Stroud officiating. Burial followed in the Carolina Cemetery in Saline.
Mr. Price died July 28.Born June 11, 1981in Shreveport, he was an oil field hand.
He is survived by his wife, Johnette Traylor Price of Saline; daughter, Morgan Elizabeth Traylor of Saline; son, Zachory Charles Price of Saline; parents, Barbara and Odell Price of Saline and Debra Clinton and Steven Bolen of Miami, Fla.; grandmothers, Lois Mazie of Saline, Carolyn Weeks and Elbry Clinton of Miami, and Kathleen Bolen of Miami; great-grandmother, Mildred Holt of Florida; four sisters, Regina Gonzalez of Miami, Ruth Ann Way of South Carolina, Melissa Smith of South Carolina and Terisa Bowman of Sicily Island; brothers, Terry Price of Lake Charles, Thomas Lee Price of Minnesota, Tony Price of Shreveport, Todd Price of Coushatta, Billy Price of Coushatta, Dale Price of Sicily Island, Bobby Walker of Jackson , Miss., Billy Walker of Saline, Clint Price of Sicily Island and Shan Price of Sicily Island; and mother- and father-in-law, John “Bo” and Ruth Pendergrass of Saline.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Price, J.D. Price, Charles Ryan, Clint Price, Billy Walker and Caleb Tidwell.
Services were under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home.

Staggs
Connie Staggs, 71
Funeral services for Connie “Nan” Staggs, 71, of Ruston were held July 31 at the Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Donny Wilkinson and Andy Hurst officiating. Burial followed in Pines Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Staggs died July 29 in Monroe after a brief illness.
Mrs. Staggs attended the Trinity United Methodist Church in Ruston. She was retired from Central American Life Insurance Company after 17 years of service. She was also employed by Kilpatrick Funeral Home for a number of years.
She is survived by daughters, Renee Session and husband Donald of Sterlington and Sherri Stevenson and husband Joe of Arcadia; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four brothers; four sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearer was Paul Martin.
Pallbearers were Sam Ortego, Donnie Searcy, Danny Ponder, Stacey Guin, Wesley Foreman and Chris Lowery.
Services were under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.

Bradford
Donnia Bradford, 57
Donnia M. Bradford, 57, of Omaha, Neb. died Jan. 13.Born Nov. 23, 1946 in Jonesboro, she graduated from Shady Grove High School. She married Billy Charles Bradford in 1967, and soon moved to Omaha where she worked for the Omaha Public School District where she served as office manager of Student Information Services. She worked there for 28 years.
Mrs. Bradford was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and John Wesley Elmore.
She is survived by son, Wesley Bradford and wife Shirley of Kansas City, Mo.; daughters, Mary Holmes of Omaha and Cynthia Davis and husband Eric of Wichita, Kansas; parents, Webb Elmore Sr. and Mary Lue Hamilton Elmore of Jonesboro; brothers, Webb Elmore Jr. of Jonesboro, Joseph Elmore and wife Sandra of Wichita; Willie Elmore of Monroe; seven sisters, Ora Wiley of Quitman, Mary Ann Leonard and husband Roosevelt; Elsa Jones and husband Mark of Jonesboro, Margaret Washington , Lillie Turman and husband Billie of Dallas, Wilma Watts and husband Garry of Waco, Texas and Catherine Butler and husband Bennie of Rochester, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; mother-in-law, Louise Bradford of Jonesboro; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Koonce
Christine Koonce, 80
Funeral services for Christine Hawkins Koonce, 80, of Minden were held Feb. 2 at the Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J.C. Clements officiating. Burial followed in the Zions Rest Cemetery.
Mrs. Koonce died Jan. 30 in Minden.
Born Nov. 2, 1923 in Summitt, Miss., she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Chuck Koonce and wife Benita of Oklahoma City; sister, Charlene Dickenson of Memphis, Tenn.; and grandchildren, Shaun David Koonce and Christine Lucille Koonce.
Pallbearers were Shaun Koonce, Eric Hawkins, Mike Chreene, David Stahl, Dave Evans and Jim Phillips.
Services were under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home.

Scoggins
DeeLee Scoggins, 71
Funeral services for DeeLee Scoggins, 71, were held Feb. 2 at the Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Gene Cumpton, Eugene Doam and Ed Fenton officiating. Burial followed in the Bear Creek Cemetery.
Mr. Scoggins died Jan. 30 at Jackson Parish Hospital.
Born Dec. 20, 1932 in Quitman, he was a retired poultry farmer and a veteran of the United States Coast Guard.
Mr. Scoggins was preceded in death by Nellie Jean Scoggins, Billie Ruth Scoggins, Hazel Anderson and O.A. Anderson.
He is survived by daughters, Kathy Stevenson and husband Robert of Quitman, Ambra Stephens and husband Craig of Quitman and Cindy Alexander and husband Roger of Weston; step-daughter, Kathy Browning and husband Gary of Dodson; sons, Roy Eugene Scoggins of Jonesboro and Todd Scoggins of Quitman; step-son, Mike Peters and wife Carla of Quitman; sister, Margie Anderson of Quitman; grandchildren, Abby Jean Scoggins, Tara Stephens, Misty Stephens, Chrystal Stevenson, Cole Stevenson, Dustin Alexander an Cassidy Alexander; step-grandchildren, Shane Peters, Sunni Peters, Kendi Deese, Mandi Spillers, Tobi Spillers and T.K. Spillers; and five step-great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers included James Anderson, Jerry Brown, Herb Cannady and Billy Roberson.
Pallbearers included Gerald Brown, David Earl Brown, Phillip Brown, Joey Anderson, Jackie Anderson and Steve Shovan.
Services were under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home.

Brooks
Grady Brooks, 83
Funeral services for Grady Lee Brooks, 83, of Jonesboro were held Jan. 25 at the Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Loyd Sowers and Stephen Horn officiating. Burial followed in the Franthom Chapel Cemetery in Eros.
Mr. Brooks died Jan. 23 at Forest Haven Nursing Center.
Born March 9, 1920 in Eros, he was a carpenter and a veteran of the United States Air Force during World War II.
He is survived by niece, Shirley Brooks Brunson and husband Hal of Pineville; step-daughter, Brenda Emanus and husband Lin of Jonesboro; step-son, Norwood Horn and wife Jewell of Lafayette; three great-nieces, two great-great nieces; one great-great nephew; and two step-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Emmett Blundell, Ronnie Carson, Tommy Emanus, Clyde Knox, Randy Layfield, Andy Pardue and James Rasberry.
Services were under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home.

Caraway
John Caraway, 91
Funeral Services for John Henry Caraway, 91, of Hodge were held Jan. 23 at the Hodge United Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Jeff Stroud and T.W. Barnes officiating. Burial followed in the Driskill Mountain Cemetery.
Mr. Caraway died Jan. 21 at Forest Haven Nursing Center.
Born June 15, 1912 in Clay, he retired from Stone Container where he worked in the maintenance department.
He is survived by daughters, Mary Eloise Walden and husband Jerry of Hodge, Linnie Grace Tanner and husband Tommy of Minden and Betty Jean Womack and husband Allen of Shreveport; sons, Jimmy Edward Caraway and wife Sherlyn of Jonesboro, John David Caraway of West Monroe and the Rev. Randall Ralph Caraway and wife Pam of Gaffney, S.C.; brother, Morris Caraway; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were grandsons - Phillip Tanner, Kevin Womack, Ken Womack, Mark Caraway, David Caraway Jr. and Brad Caraway.
Services were under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Durbin
Elizabeth Durbin, 55
Funeral services for Elizabeth Ann Durbin, 55, of Dodson were held Jan. 21 at the Yankee Springs Baptist Church in Goldonna with the Rev. Carl Barr officiating. Burial followed in the Yankee Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Durbin died Jan. 19 at her home.
Born March 16, 1948 in Shreveport, she was a rural carrier for the United States Postal Service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Durbin.
She is survived by one son, Stacey Durbin of Doyline; and granddaughter, Madison Jennifer Durbin of Bossier City.
Pallbearers were John Ross, Brandon Crow, Daniel Marze, Allen Martin, Roger Bedgood and Don Shows.
Services were under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home.
