Family hour will be held from 7:30 until 8:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 26, at the funeral home.

Johnny E. Rabb
Funeral services for Mr. Johnny E. Rabb will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, 2004, at St. Rest Baptist Church in Minden. Burial will follow at Sheppard Street Cemetery in Minden under the direction of Benevolent Funeral Home in Minden.
Family hour will be held from 6 until 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26, at the funeral home.

Princess Chataria Ivory
Funeral services for infant Princes Chataria Ivory will be held at 1 p.m. today, Nov. 23, 2004, at Benevolent Funeral Home in Minden. Burial will follow at Kingsolom Cemetery in Sibley.

Bobby J. Mills
Graveside services for Mr. Bobby J. Mills will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, at Pine Grove Cemetery in Ada Taylor . Services are under the direction of Benevolent Funeral Home in Minden.
Family hour will be held from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, at the funeral home.

Ray Skinner
Funeral services for Mr. Ray E. Skinner were held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden with the Rev. Thurman Maloun officiating. Burial followed at Boggs Cemetery in Bossier Parish.
Mr. Skinner, a native of Ruston and a resident of Dubberly, Passed away Thursday, Nov. 18. He was born March 7, 1926 to Viola and Roy C. Skinner. He was a USN Retired and also retired from IBEW Local #194. He was a member of VFW Post #2885, District 12, and was also an active member of LDS Church, Brownlee Ward.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Windsor Skinner of Dubberly; two sons, Roy Skinner and wife Robin of Jackson ville, Ore., and Michael Skinner and wife Jackie of Spanaway, Wash.; two stepdaughters, Carmen Kilgore of Dubberly, and LaVonne Grimm of Puyallup, Wash.; two grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Douglas Skinner and wife Mickie of Shelbyville, Texas ; and one sister, Mary Jo Kirkland and husband Derald of Minden.

Ila Walker
Graveside services for Mrs. Ila Walker will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, at
Arlington National Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Orlando, Fla.
Mrs. Walker Passed away peacefully at her home Thursday, Nov. 18, after a long illness. She will be remembered for her grace and composure, a remarkable sense of humor and a personal charm and flair that defined her Southern elegance. Born on Nov. 21, 1936, in Monroe, she was the only child of the late Henry N. and Iola B. Jones. She was a faithful and devoted military wife and helpmate to her husband of 46 years, B.D. (Doyle) Walker, formerly of Minden.
She was one of the Outstanding Young Women of America of 1971, and a member of St. Luke's Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband; daughter, Lauren McFarland and husband Chris of Austin, Texas ; son, Brian and wife Kim of Bainbridge Island, Wash.; four grandchildren, Renan and Shea McFarland and Bronte and Brenna Walker.
Her children and grandchildren were her passion and pride, and she considered them her greatest accomplishment.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Comforter Orlando, or to the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance.

Queen Ester Bryant
Funeral services for Mrs. Queen Ester Bryant, 96, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, at Kirks Chapel. Burial will follow at Kirks Chapel Community Cemetery under the direction of Miller-Pioneer Funeral Home in Minden.
Mrs. Bryant, a native of Doyline and a resident of Minden, Passed away at Town and Country Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. She was a member of Kirks Chapel.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Vinie Peterson of Gary, Ind.; one son, Ardis Maxey of Dubberly; and one granddaughter, Alberta Gilmore of Minden.

Charleen Middleton
Graveside services for Ms. Charleen Middleton, 58, were to be held at 11 a.m. today, Nov. 19, 2004, at West Lake Cemetery in Doyline with the Rev. Larry Hatcher officiating and the Rev. Tom Carlton assisting. Services are under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Ms. Middleton, a native of Minden and a resident of Shreveport, Passed away Wednesday, Nov. 17 in Shreveport.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Maness.
She is survived by her father, Edward Maness of Doyline; son, Shane Williams and wife Michele of Bossier City; daughter, Theresa Kelly of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and her uncle, Roy Adams; sisters, Audrey Jean Stewart and Sylvia Preston; brother, William Maness; and four grandchildren.

T.C. Tillman
Funeral services for Mr. T. C. Tillman, 70, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, at Galilee Baptist Church with the Rev. James Smith officiating. interment will follow at Moore Cemetery under the direction of Kennon's Mortuary.
Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 19, in the Kennon's Mortuary Chapel with family hour from 6 until 7 p.m.
T. C. Tillman, a native of Heflin, was born Feb. 14, 1934. He departed this life to be with the Lord on Nov. 16, in Minden.
He leaves to cherish his memories one son, Patrick Tillman of Heflin; two daughters, Fredda Tillman of Heflin, and LaKita Tillman of Houston, Texas ; one brother, Elliot Tillman of Houston; one sister, Cloteal Tellis of Heflin; four grandchildren; and a host of other relative and friends.

Marvin "Bosco" Tomlinson
Memorial services for Mr. Marvin Jacob "Bosco" Tomlinson will be held Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Bosco Passed away Wednesday, Nov. 17, in Minden, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was a drywall hanger and carpenter by trade.
He was preceded in death by his father, Houston Elder Tomlinson Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Linda O'Rear Tomlinson of Minden; two step-daughters, Bridgett Boyett of Haughton, and Jimmy Jay Mayzelle of Ruston; two step-sons, Shawn Lee O'Rear of Minden, and Terry Ray Henderson of Haughton; one son, Elijah Jacob Tomlinson and wife Dana of Shreveport; three grandchildren, Kayla, Grace and Trinity Tomlinson of Shreveport; his mother, Margie Tomlinson of Dubberly; four sisters, Brenda "Sam" McEachern and husband Timmie of Minden, Linda "Sissy" Mahfouz and husband John of Minden, Karla Moss and husband Adam of Dubberly, and Sara Yocom of Dubberly; four brothers, Leroy Griffith and wife Jo Ellen of Dubberly, Houston Elder Tomlinson Jr. and wife Rhonda of Clifton, Tenn., Carl Cleveland "Collie" Tomlinson of Dubberly, Bobby Neal Tomlinson of Dubberly; and a host of nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers will be Ernest Hawkins, Jasper Peterson, Mike Swilley, Patrick Moore, Charles Strickland, Shannon Strickland and Johnny Atkins.

Rupert Krouse
Funeral services for Mr. Rupert Benjamin Krouse will be held at 2 p.m. today, Nov. 17, 2004, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. His life's message will be shared by the Rev. Wayne DuBose, the Rev. Bill Ichter and the Rev. Bill Collins. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden.
Mr. Krouse, a native of the Germantown Community, Passed away Sunday, Nov. 14. He was born Oct. 19, 1923. He was a liberator of Western Europe with the 3rd Infantry Division in World War II. He helped build the world's greatest economy by serving 35 years on the Kansas City Southern and L&A Railroad. He also spent a lifetime helping others. He taught his girls and grandchildren to hunt, fish, how to garden and to work and live life. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Minden, where helped organize Jack Woodard's Sunday School class. He also belonged to Grand Lodge of Louisiana , F & A.M.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Gertrude Langheld Krouse; his brothers, Prescott and Pierce Krouse; sister, Edith Krouse Simpson and extended family member, Joe Murphy.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sarah Hearron Krouse; daughters, Pam Krouse Lowe and husband Eddie of Minden, Paula Krouse Stewart and husband Travis of Arcadia, Phyllis Krouse Collins and husband Bill of Natchitoches; grandchildren, Jamin Butcher, Rachel Butcher, Lori Branch and husband Kyle, Maryann Stewart, Janie Stewart, Cole Collins and Cordell Collins; sisters, Elsie Krouse Hock and Gladys Krouse Mobley; brothers, J.L. Krouse and Otto Krouse; extended family member, Don Murphy and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jamin Butcher, Eddie Lowe, Bill Collins, Mike Merritt, Gordon Still and Johnny Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Travis Stewart, Cole Collins, Cordell Collins, his dear friend, Buster Sanders, Jack Woodard's Sunday School class, and the KCS-L&A Railroad crew.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to all the workers at Arcadia Healthcare Center and Dr. Carl Hines, and thanks to Larry for rescuing "Daddy" when he got lost on I-20. The best "Paw Paw" that a child could ever have prayed this prayer every day, "Dear Lord, thank you for the food, the children and the grandchildren. Help us down the road of life and teach us to serve others better. Amen."
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

D. Colby Higginbotham
Funeral services for Mr. D. Colby Higginbotham, 20, will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, at Samart Funeral Home in Houma.
Visitation will be held from 2 until 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, at the funeral home.
Mr. Higginbotham, a native and resident of Houma, Passed away Saturday, Nov. 13, in Houma. He was born Oct. 28, 1984. He was employed with Rivette Services of Houma and was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jerry D. Voorhies.
He is survived by his father, Kevin Higginbotham and step-mother, Lisa; mother, Andrea House Higginbotham; uncle and aunt, Dan and Cyndi Rivette, Debbie Morgan and husband John Paul "J.P." Morgan, Kelly Higginbotham Warren and husband Glen and Kristi Higginbotham Hays; sister, Harley Marie Higginbotham; cousins, Danielle, Jeff, Brandon, Haley, Garrett, Taylor , Ty, Hutton, D.J. and Krysten; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis and Sandra Higginbotham; and grandmother, Mrs. Bobbie K. Voorhies.

Annie McGuire
Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Lee Jones McGuire, 95, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, at First United Pentecostal Church in Minden with the Rev. Alan Jordan officiating and the Rev. Bob Rhymes and the Rev. T.W. Barnes assisting. Burial will follow at Minden Cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 9 p.m. today, Nov. 16, at the funeral home.
Mrs. McGuire, a native and resident of Minden, Passed away Monday, Nov. 15, in Minden. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Minden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alford "Shorty" McGuire; and her daughter, Florence Rushing.
She is survived by her sons, Norman "Squeaky" McGuire and wife Debbie of Ringgold, David Ray McGuire and wife Jacqualine of Minden; daughter, Martha McPherson of Minden; sisters, Clotile Branch of Haughton, and Eloise Myers of Madeira Beach, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Milton Shelley
Funeral services for Mr. Milton Lavelle Shelley, 63, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, at Point Chapel Assembly of God in Doyline with the Rev. Tom Carlton officiating. Burial will follow at Point Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. today, Nov. 16, at the funeral home.
Mr. Shelley, a native of Minden, Passed away Sunday, Nov. 14, in Bossier City following a brief illness. He was born Sept. 10, 1941.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Leola Shelley; and his brother, Ray Maxwell Shelley.
He is survived by one brother, Lavert Shelley and wife Irene of Spring, Texas ; five sisters, Margie Ponder of Alice, Texas , Nellie Savacool and husband Cecil of Minden, Elaine Davis and husband Buddy of Shreveport, Joyce Rowland and husband Robin of Doyline, and Mavis McBride and husband Larry of Minden; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Guy Morgan Jr., Albert Booth, Bobby Igo, Jack Shelley, Gerald Norris and Mark Schroder. The honorary pallbearer will be his special friend, Dr. Fred Gray.
The family would like to thank Dr. Fred for being so good so him throughout the years, and to Albert Booth for his visits and prayers while in the hospital. They also wish to express a special thanks to the physicians and staff of Willis-Knighton North, Progressive Care, and Cornerstone Hospital during his time of need.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the charity of the donor's choice.

Elfi Duncan
Funeral services for Mrs. Elfi Martens Duncan, 92, will be held at 3 p.m. today, Nov. 15, 2004, at New Sarepta Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Danny Dodd officiating. Burial will follow at Old Sarepta Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Mortuary in Springhill.
Mrs. Duncan, a former resident of Minden and a resident of Sarepta, Passed away Saturday, Nov. 13, at her home. She was born in Hamburg, Germany to Carl and Julianne Kusel Martens, and made her home in Sarepta for 44 years. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Charles Jewell Duncan on Oct. 14, 1978.
She is survived by her son, Edward Earl "Eddie" Duncan of Sarepta; daughter, Rosemary D. Norton and husband Edgar of El Dorado, Ark.; granddaughters, Elfi Ferrell and husband Doug, Glenda Lancaster and husband John; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Doug Jr., Linda, Angelica and Steven.
Pallbearers will be Wiley Holley, Charlie Weaver, Pat Modisette, Pat Andrews, Randall Barnett and Don O'Glee.
