Della Mae Honeycutt
Graveside services for Mrs. Della Mae Honeycutt, 97, will be held at 2 p.m. today, May 9, 2005, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Phillips officiating. Services are under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Mrs. Honeycutt, a native of Mt. Vernon, Ark., and a resident of Minden for 25 years, Passed away Friday, May 6, in Minden. She worked as a nurse for many years.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Roy A. Harris and Jerry E. Harris.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennie Holden Chambers; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Jimmy Maddox
Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy Lee Maddox, 63, were to be held at 10 a.m. today, May 9, 2005, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home in Haughton with the Rev. Harrell Shelton of Airline Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Maddox Passed away Thursday, May 5, after a brief illness. He was born March 1, 1942 in Monroe to the late Doris Woodrow and Beatrice Crunk Maddox of Haynesville. He had been a resident of Bossier City for the last 31 years, and had been in the mobile home business for 33 years, serving both in the Louisiana and Texas Mobile Home Associations. Jimmy was an avid hunter and fisherman. He served as a board member of Bass Life and also the Shreveport Gun Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Carlton Eugene Maddox.
He is survived by his wife, Carol H. Maddox of Bossier City; sons, David Wayne Reeves and wife Denice, Daryl Evan Reeves and wife Brenda, all of Stonewall, and Michael Shea Maddox and wife Laura Lee; daughters, Shannon Maddox Backofen and husband Mike, and Stephanie Rhea Maddox, all of Bossier City; sister, Judy Ann Maddox Recker and husband Walter of Shreveport; and seven grandchildren, Brandon, Bradley, Brandon, Lauren, Kaylea, Kyle and Megan; and many more family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Nick Divietro, Marlon Roberts, Mike Conkle, Kevin Reed, Randy Smith, Thomas Maddox, Andy Maddox and Bart Bosarge. Honorary pallbearers will be Sherman Price, Eli Haydel, Jay Taylor , Glenn Holtzclaw, Donnie Dufour and Luke Turner.
The family wishes to thank the many doctors and nurses of Christus Schumpert Hospital, the Schumpert Cancer Center and Grace Home.

Joshua Reagan
Funeral services for Mr. Joshua Thomas “Tom” Reagan, 80, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden with the Rev. Frank Deloach officiating and the Rev. Mike Crump assisting. Burial will follow at Brushwood Cemetery in Dubberly.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. today, May 9, at the funeral home.
Mr. Reagan, a resident of Dubberly, Passed away Saturday, May 7, in Shreveport. He served in the Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Opal Reagan.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Denise Reagan of Minden; two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Tommy Harwell of Dubberly, Tammy and Joey Frye of Minden; brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Barbara Reagan of Dubberly; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Grace Home at 1035 Margaret Place, Shreveport, LA 71101 or to Fellowship Baptist Church at 3287 Hwy. 531, Dubberly, LA 71024.

Louise Stewart
Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Stewart, 81, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden, Ark. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Camden.
Visitation will be held from 6 until 9 p.m. today, May 9, at the funeral home in Camden.
Mrs. Stewart Passed away Sunday.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey A. Stewart; two sons, Roy Stewart and Sammy Stewart; one granddaughter; one brother; and two sisters.
She is survived by her five sons, Ralph Stewart and wife Connie of Riverside, Calif., Aubrey Stewart and wife Jan of Seattle, Wash., Troy Stewart and wife Phyllis of Camden, Ron Stewart and wife Shannon of Little Rock, Ark., and Randy Stewart and wife Brenda of Minden; four daughters, Mary Harris and husband Ricky of Suisun, Calif., Gwen Erwin and husband Eddie of Camden, Pat Richards of Camden, and Debra Morgan and husband Ralph of Smackover, Ark.; one sister, Bernice Brumley of El Dorado, Ark.; 20 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Beatrice Williams
Funeral services for Mrs. Beatrice S. Williams were to be held at 11 a.m. today, May 9, 2005, at Evening Star CME Church in Cullen. Burial was to follow at Garden of Memory in Cullen under the direction of Benevolent Funeral Home in Minden.

Hubert Williams
Funeral services for Mr. Hubert Gilbert “Cy” Williams, 93, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2005, at First United Methodist Church in Minden with the Rev. J. Roddy Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. today, May 6, at the funeral home.
Mr. Williams, a native of Beebe, Ark., and a resident of Minden, Passed away Wednesday, May 4, in Minden. He was the owner/operator of Williams & Hicks Company. He served in the Army in World War II in the International Harvester Battalion in Europe. He married Lula Mae Copeland in 1937. He moved to Minden in 1948 and formed the Williams & Hicks Company.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Minden, member of the Banks Sunday School Class and a member of the Shriners.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Edna Williams.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lula Mae Williams of Monden; daughter, Cindy Lou Brewer and husband Mike of Collierville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Misty Brewer Powell and husband Brent of Birmingham, Ala., and John Brewer and wife Jennifer of Benton, Ark.; great-grandchildren, Grace Elizabeth Powell, Cy Denton Powell, Lydia Mae Powell, Beau Michael Brewer and Hannah Diane Brewer, and twin great-granddaughters to be born this weekend.
Pallbearers will be Roy Sullivan, Mike Brewer, John Brewer, Scott Hicks, Digger O’Dell, Patrick McClure, Bill Barkas and Troy Webb. Honorary pallbearers will be the Banks Sunday School Class at FUMC Minden.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Minden.

Piccola Zeigler
Funeral services for Mrs. Piccola T. Zeigler, 85, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2005, at Bracks Chapel with the Rev. Lawrence Jefferson officiating. Services are under the direction of Miller-Pioneer Funeral Home in Minden.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at the church.
Mrs. Zeigler Passed away of natural causes at Irving Place Rehab and Nursing Center in Shreveport.
She is survived by her son, Roderick Dunnaway of Bossier City; niece, Mrs. Ida Sams; and her brother, Edorinus Timmons of Oakland, Calif.

Caliner Bray
Funeral services for Mrs. Caliner Bray, 92, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2005, at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Doyline with the Rev. Richard J. Jefferson officiating. Burial will follow at Jenkins Community Cemetery in Doyline under the direction of Benevolent Funeral Home in Minden.
Mrs. Bray Passed away Thursday, April 28, at Minden Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William “Bill” and Mariah Hollingsworth Jones; her husband, Arthur Bray; sisters, Laura Jones and Willie Mae Webb; brothers, Henry, Bill, Robert, Arthur and Luther Jones; and nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, David Webb and wife Katie and family; the late Leon Webb’s family; the late Ruth Jackson ’s family; the late Pauline Smith’s family; and Cloteal Ward; niece-in-law, Ruth Webb; nephew-in-law, Morris Jackson Sr.; sister-in-law, Viola Jones; caring cousins, Leonard and Vestean Frazier, Eddie D. and Annie Ruth Franklin, A.C. “Bill” and Betty Douglas, Ruth Dickinson, and the Bobbie Theus family; caregivers, Kitty Mann, Lillie Hawkins, Wendell and Daphne Jackson , Quandra Cole, Charles Warren, Troy Jones; and a host of other nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

William H. Logan
Funeral services for Mr. William H. Logan, 68, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2005, at St. Rest Baptist Church with the Rev. James Merrell, pastor of New Start Seventh-day Adventist Church, officiating. interment will follow at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Kennon’s Mortuary in Minden.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 6 in the chapel of Kennon’s Mortuary with family hour from 7 until 8 p.m.
William Logan was born April 29, 1937 in Cruger, Miss., to the late Oscar Logan and the late Priscilla Moore Logan.
He departed this earthly life on May 2, 2005 in Shreveport.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Catherine Harris Logan of Minden; seven sons; four daughters; two brothers, Claiborne Logan of Linwood, Calif., and Dennis Logan of Baldwin Hills, Calif.; six sisters, Mary Kidd of Compton, Calif., Sarah Harris of St. Louis, Mo., Marvadean Logan of Compton, Lula Taylor of Jackson , Miss., Helen Brown of Compton, and Joyce Early of Linwood; mother-in-law, Jessie Harris of Minden; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Judie Ann Buggs
On Feb. 7, 1951, a daughter was born to the late Mr. T.W. and Earline Buggs. They named her Judie Ann. On May 2, at 2:05 a.m., at Willis-Knighton North in Shreveport, she Passed away.
She was the fourth of five children and she joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Summerfield at a young age. She was educated in the public schools of Claiborne Parish, and later graduated from Oil Belt Vocational Technical College in El Dorado, Ark., as a C.N.A.
She moved to California in 1978, and joined Star Bethel Baptist Church in Oakland, Calif. She was the president of the Nurses’ Guild, taught children’s Sunday school, and was a member of the General Mission. She served faithful until her health failed. In June 2004, she moved to Houston, Texas to live with her sister Patricia.
She is survived by her three sons, Alexander L. Buggs and wife Alida, Nicholas R. Buggs of Antioch, Sean F. Ramsey of Oakland; two sisters, Ina Flournoy and husband Hodge of Minden, Patricia Naptui of Houston, Leroy Buggs and wife Jo Ann of Spearsville; 10 grandchildren who reside in California; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mary Alice Harmon
Funeral services will be held for Mary Alice Harmon, 91, at First United Methodist Church in Homer on Thursday, May 5, 2005 at 2 p.m. Rev. David Dietzel, assisted by Dr. Pat Bates, will officiate. interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery.
Friends and family may visit with the family on today, May 4, between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Homer.
Mrs. Harmon was born March 12, 1914 in Homer, and Passed away Tuesday, May 3, at Homer Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and she was a member of Ringleaders of Wesley Chapel. Her sweetest joy was being a devoted mother and a special “Granny.”
Mrs. Harmon was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph L. Harmon; her parents, Bertha and Amos Prince; brothers, Herman Prince and Herschel R. “Buck” Prince; and sister, Margie Prince Davidson.
She is survived by two daughters, Alice Faye Heckel and husband, Bert, and Rebecca Ann McDaniel and husband, Johnny; one son, Eddie Ralph Harmon and wife, Dianne, all of Homer; grandchildren, Joe Heckel and wife, Alyson, Mike Heckel and wife, Anissa, Angie Jones and husband, Scott, Shane Lord, Leanne Mitchell and husband, Keith, Ryan Harmon, Ginger Harmon, John McDaniel, Jr. and wife, Katie, and Kelly McAllister and husband, Morgan; great-grandchildren, Hunter Heckel, Lainey Heckel, Ashlyn Heckel, McCall Heckel, Anslee Heckel, Austyn Heckel, Bridget Jones, Landon Lord, Logan Lord, Kade Mitchell, Mary-Micah Mitchell, Lindsay Mitchell, Logann Mitchell, Michael McAllister, Matthew McAllister and John Logan McDaniel; a sister, Janie Paschall of Coushatta, LA; numerous nieces and nephews, many other family members and friends; special family friends, Jackie Burns, Helen and Clyde Burns and Snow Harris.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Joe Heckel, Mike Heckel, Shane Lord, Ryan Harmon, Scott Jones, Keith Mitchell, John McDaniel, Jr. and Morgan McCallister
The family would like to extend a “special thanks” to Drs. Mark and Scott Haynes, the entire staff at Homer Memorial Hospital, special sitters, Clara Hamilton, Linda Lewis and Cathy Franklin and to all our friends for their prayers.

Bama Gertrude Holley
Funeral services for Mrs. Bama Gertrude Holley, 87, will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 6, at Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery in Natchez, Miss.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday, May 5, at Comer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Holley, a previous resident of Ferriday and a resident of Meadowview Health and Rehab in Minden, Passed away this morning. Mam-maw Holley was a terrific cook and a wonderful homemaker who always seemed to find the time to welcome all of her grandchildren into her home each summer. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Holley; infant daughter, Barbara Ann Holley; grandson, James R. Holley Jr.; brothers, Jimmy Morris and Gerald Morris; and her parents, James Clyde and Lila Morris.
She is survived by her son, James R. Holley and wife Faye; daughter, Rachel Hudson and husband Jerry; sisters, Inez Ward, Mabel Mitchell and Macy Pierson; grandchildren, Nina Self, Jerrie Lynn Irby, Barbara Lee, Andy Holley, Darleen Reggio, Kerry Hudson and Rose Blakely; 18 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kerry Hudson, Rick Lee, Daniel Lee, Fred Andrews, Wes Steele and Ed Frith.
The family would like to say thank you to Dr. Bolger and the staff of Meadowview Health and Rehab, especially the South Wing nurses and CNAs for their kind and compassionate care of our beloved grandmother.

Mary Pinchern
Graveside services for Mrs. Mary Norman Pinchern, 83, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2005 at Monroe Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. today, May 4, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Pinchern, a resident of Oak Grove and a former resident of Monroe, Passed away Tuesday, May 3, in Oak Grove. She was born April 26, 1922 in Ringgold. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Monroe, and she worked as a nurse at E.A. Conway in Monroe, Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport, and Minden Medical Center for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Dewey Pinchern.
She is survived by her two children, Linda R. Crowe of Oak Grove, Mary Beth Seligman and husband Jeff of New Orleans; two sisters, Mel Norman Behuniak of Lancaster, Pa., and Faye Norman Langston of Collinston; three grandchildren, Lauri Worley Anderson and husband Stan of Monroe, Holly Worley Cardinal and husband Chris of Tuscan, Ariz., and Emery Edward Worley III of Monroe; four great-grandchildren, Carter Loftin, Elizabeth Loftin, Addison Cardinal and Jacob Cardinal; and a host of nieces and nephews.

David H. Foster
Funeral services for Mr. David H. Foster, 73, will be held at 2 p.m. today, May 2, 2005, at Bistineau Baptist Church in Heflin with the Rev. Everett Geis officiating. Burial will follow at Bistineau Cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Mr. Foster, a resident of Sibley, Passed away Thursday, April 28, in Minden. He was a supervisor for a construction company.
He is survived by his wife Bertha Foster of Sibley; three sons, Mike Foster of Sibley, Howard Sherman Foster of Front Royal, Va., Bernard Bruce Foster of Brown Town, Va.; daughter, Bobbie Adams of Sibley; sister, Francis Foster of Luray, Va.; brothers, William Edward Foster of Flint Hill, Va., Paul Jack Foster of Chester Gap, Va.; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Johnnie Martin
Funeral services for Mr. Johnnie Martin, 71, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at Hill Crest Funeral Home in Haughton. Burial will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to 301 Clerk Street in Minden to help with expenses, since Mr. Martin had no insurance.
