Brock Hedrick

CHELMSFORD - Brock Hedrick, 64, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away September 27th, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Carole (Bessette) Hedrick who survives him.

Brock was born in Chelmsford and was the son of the late George and Eileen (Gilligan) Hedrick. He graduated from CHS in 1965 and from Bentley College in Waltham in 1969.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Goodwill Industries and Comcast.

In addition to his wife Carole, Brock is survived by two daughters, Kerry and Kristy Hedrick, two step-sons, David Funaro and his wife Kelly of Virginia, and Danny Funaro and his wife Nikki of Westford, and four grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Joanne Crow and her husband Gerry Crow, and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours on Sunday from 5 to 8 pm at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. His funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 o’clock at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Brock’s memory may be made to Lowell General Hospital TeamWalk for Cancer Care, 295 Varnum Ave., Lowell, MA 01854.

Kevin Christopher Boyle

January 26, 1966 - May 2, 2013
Resided in Salem, MA

Mr. Kevin C. Boyle, 47 years of Salem, died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 2, 2013

He is the son of Leonard and Kathleen ( Manning) Boyle of Lynn. He was born and raised in Lynn. He attended Sacred Heart School and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School. He has lived in Lynn most of his life and in Salem for16 years.

Kevin was an avid reader, enjoyed watching movies. He loved sports and loved all music. Kevin was a custodian for the Wesley United Methodist Church in Salem, a position he loved.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Karen Gagne of Salem, Laura Geary and her husband Michael Joseph of Lynn, his brothers, Joseph Boyle of Los Angeles, CA, Thomas Boyle and his wife LeeAnne of Clifton Park, New York, and L. James Boyle of Beverly. He leaves 8 nieces and nephews and 1 great nephew. He is the nephew of Barbara and Phil Capone, Jean Manning, John "Jack " Boyle and his wife Pauline and Don McEachern.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 9:00 AM from the SOLIMINE, LANDERGAN AND RICHARDSON FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway, Rte 129, Lynn, followed by a funeral mass in Sacred Heart Church, Lynn at 10:00 AM. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are on Monday from 4 to 8 PM. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Alexander Windsor Gaines

April 1, 1962 - May 1, 2013
Resided in Lynn, MA

Alexander Windsor "Al" Gaines, age 51 of Port St. Lucie, Florida and Lynn, Massachusetts, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Westside Regional Medical Center in Plantation, Florida, after being stricken suddenly. He was the son of the late George W. and Louise V. (Oliver) Gaines. Born and raised in Lynn, he was a graduate of Lynn English High School, class of 1980. Al worked for Apria Medical Supply for many years delivering medical supplies and oxygen to residences. He also worked for Hoveround Company in sales. He was a sports enthusiast. He especially liked playing basketball. He loved listening to Rhythm & Blues, as well as Hip-Hop and Rap. He had a fondness for animals. Al always remembered his beloved "Samantha", a red Doberman Pincher who his family had while he was growing up.

He is survived by his children, Bryant, Renee´ and Robyn Gaines, all of Lynn and their mother, Suzette McCollin, his grand daughter Destiny Gaines, two sisters, Vivian Gaines of Lynn and Joanne Dupree and her husband Willie of Lynn, nieces Olivia and Maya Dupree, his "brother" Kevin, his fiancé Cherise Milton and her children, Jada and Davon. He also leaves his two aunts M. Patricia Darby and June White, his uncles Donald & Charles Gaines, David K. Oliver, and a host of cousins and friends. He was the brother of the late Robin Gaines and G. Wesley Gaines.

His funeral will be held in the SOLIMINE, LANDERGAN & RICHARDSON FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rt129) Lynn on Tuesday at 10AM. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be Monday from 4-8PM. Memorial donations may be made to Bethel A.M.E. Church, 72 Silsbee St., Lynn, MA 01902.

Patrick Slattery

TEWKSBURY – Patrick J. Slattery, age 44, a resident of Tewksbury, died unexpectedly Friday, February 06, 2015 from injuries sustained in an accident. He was the beloved husband of Kerri N. (Mooney) Slattery, to whom he was married for 17 years.

He was born in Boston on June 29, 1970, and was a son of Mary Slattery of Chelmsford, MA and Michael Slattery of Derry, NH. He received his education in Chelmsford schools and was a graduate of Chelmsford High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from UMASS Lowell and his master’s degree in business administration from Bentley College in Waltham.

Patrick was the owner of Innovative Fabrication and Do Can Brewery, both in Lowell and he coached Tewksbury Youth Soccer for many years.

He was a member of the UMASS Lowell Engineering Advisory Board for several years and a member of the New England CEO Network.

Patrick was a great supporter of the Lowell Sun Santa Fund and Lisa’s Lung Cancer Awareness 5K Run/3K Walk.

He was an avid sports fan, and he enjoyed cooking, going to Old Orchard Beach with his family, and spending time with his faithful companion Finn. He also enjoyed playing guitar with his band Intervention.

Patrick’s children were the world to him. Nothing gave him greater joy than spending time with them. He spent countless hours on the soccer field with Gavin, he loved to play Xbox with him, and he loved helping Hannah with everything from homework to back walkovers.

The amount of people’s lives that Patrick touched was immeasurable, with his generosity and kindness. His quick wit was unsurpassed; there was never anyone who was clever enough to counter it.

Establishing the Do Can Brewery was a lifelong dream he was able to fulfill. It was more than just the beer. He was creating an attitude of perseverance. His life's motto was "those who do, can”.

In addition to his wife and parents, Patrick was the proud father of his two adoring children Gavin Joseph Slattery, a freshman at Lawrence Academy and Hannah Slattery, a 7th grade student at the Wynn School in Tewksbury; his sister Kathleen and husband Mark Matthews of Bronxville, NY; his mother-in-law, Dorothy “Dot” Mooney of Westford; his sister-in-law, Kelly Breen and her husband Mitch of West Townsend; his nieces and nephews, Casey, Bailey, Jessey, Jack, Joseph, and Patrick; and many lifelong friends.

He was also the brother of the late Michael C. Slattery and the son-in-law of the late Richard “Dick” Mooney, who both died in 2014.

Visitation will be held at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD, on Tuesday from 4 until 8 pm. His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 o’clock at St. Mary Church, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will be private. Robert A. McDonald

July 26, 1962 - May 25, 2013
Resided in Lynn, MA

Mr. Robert A. McDonald, 50 years of Lynn, died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 25, 2013, in Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. He is the son of Adeline (Boivin) McDonald of Lynn and the late Alfred McDonald. He was born in Saugus and raised in Lynn. He was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School, class of 1981.

Mr. McDonald was employed as a mechanic and machinist for the General Electric Company in Lynn and prior to that he worked at W.R. Grace. He loved playing golf, collecting baseball cards and camping. Mr. McDonald liked the Three Stooges, looking forward to the New Years Eve Marathon. He also enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley. He was a coach for Little League and T-Ball He enjoyed long rides especially to Mount Washington in New Hampshire.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Cheryl Ann (Lockwood) McDonald of Saugus and his companion Kimberly Bain of Melrose. He leaves his sons, Robert A. McDonald of Saugus, Matthew M. McDonald of Danvers, Ryan C. McDonald of Saugus, and Jacob J. McDonald of Melrose, his daughters Courtney E. McDonald of Saugus, Ashley N. McDonald of Saugus, Tori A. McDonald of Saugus and Joscelyn A. McDonald of Melrose, his brother Scott McDonald and his wife Julie of New Hampshire, his sisters, Jacqueline Rock of Lynn, Kelly Fabbri of Lynn and several aunts uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews. He is the brother of the late Daniel McDonald.

His funeral will be held on Friday, May 31, 2013 at 12:00 PM in the SOLIMINE, LANDERGAN AND RICHARDSON FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (rte 129) Lynn Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Private burial will follow cremation. Visiting hours are on Friday from 10::00 AM to 12:00 PM, prior to his funeral. Richard G. Woodworth

June 27, 1925 - April 1, 2013
Resided in Lynn, MA

Mr. Richard G. Woodworth, 87 years of Lynn, died Monday, April 1, 2013 in Union Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late M. Claire (Landry) Woodworth. He was born in Lynn, the son of the late Gordon W. and Carrie Woodworth. He was raised in Lynn and attended Lynn schools. He lived in Lynn all of his life.

Mr. Woodworth was a proud US Navy Veteran of WWII and served on the USS Conway. He was a member of Post 507, a lifetime member of the Franco American Post, and IUE Local 201 in Lynn. Mr. Woodworth was an avid Red Sox and Patriots Fan. He was a loving grandfather and father. Mr. Woodworth was an assembler at the General Electric Company in Lynn working at the Riverworks Plant. He retired in 1986 after 39 years of service to GE.

Mr. Woodworth is survived by a daughter, Barbara Bourque and her husband Michael of Malden, a son Richard Woodworth II and his wife Rita of Peabody, six grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is the last of 10 children. Mr. Woodworth is the father of the late Annette Richardson formerly of NH.

His funeral will be held on Friday April 5, 2013 at 9:00 AM in THE SOLIMINE, LANDERGAN AND RICHARDSON FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rte 129) Lynn . Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Melissa Boyd

TYNGSBOROUGH – Melissa A. Boyd, age 40, a resident of Tyngsborough and former longtime resident of Chelmsford, died unexpectedly on October 2, 2012 at Lowell General Hospital.

She was born in Concord, on June 18, 1972 and was a daughter of David H. and Patricia A. (Lowe) Boyd of Chelmsford. She received her education in Chelmsford schools and was a graduate of Chelmsford High School Class of '90 and earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Plymouth State College and earned her master’s degree in education from University of Massachusetts at Lowell.

Melissa’s passion in life was being a teacher to her second grade students at the Bartlett Community Partnership School in Lowell for over ten years. She was very devoted to her students and the Bartlett School and was involved in many school activities including coaching The Knowledge Bowl team and the cross country team. Melissa was the Coordinator of the Primary Cluster Events and of Caring School Community Builder. She was loved by both students and colleagues alike.

She was an avid New England Revolution and New England Patriots fan. Melissa was a world traveler with many trips to the Far East, Central America and Europe

She was a parishioner of St Mary Parish in Chelmsford.

In addition to her loving parents, Melissa is survived by her brother David Boyd of Nashua; her sister Traci Revis and her husband Kevan of Raeford, NC; her uncles, John Lowe and his wife Martha of Lowell, and Marcus Boyd III and his wife Linda of Loxahatchee, FL, several cousins, and many close friends.

She was the granddaughter of the late Marcus and Elizabeth Boyd of Pennsylvania and John and Margaret Lowe of Lowell and the niece of the late James Boyd of Lawrence, KS.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5 to 8 pm at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 o’clock at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to The Bartlett School Extracurricular Activities Fund C/O Enterprise Bank 185 Littleton Rd Chelmsford MA 01824.

Maureen A. (Lamoureaux) Nolet

October 10, 1942 - May 18, 2013
Resided in Hudson, FL

Mrs. Maureen A. (Lamoureaux) Nolet of Hudson, Florida passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the age of 70 at Salem Hospital. She is the beloved wife of Mr. Joseph A. Nolet, with whom she shared 48-years of marriage. She was the daughter of the late Ernest R. Lamoureaux, the late Nora T. (Kiersey) Lamoureaux-Atkinson and step-daughter of Leonard Atkinson. Mrs. Nolet was sister to the late Ernest Lamoureaux.

She was born and raised in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School. Mrs. Nolet also resided in Connecticut and Europe (England, France and Germany) before retiring in Florida. She enjoyed photography, painting and gourmet cooking.

She is the cherished mother of Mary Beth Lynn, her husband Christopher and grandmother to Danielle of Peabody, MA. She is also the devoted mother of Joseph E. Nolet, his wife Michelle and grandmother to Lauren and Alec of Cary, NC. Mrs. Nolet is survived by loving aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends both here and abroad.

Her memorial service will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 7:00 PM in the SOLIMINE, LANDERGAN AND RICHARDSON FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rte 129) Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. The family requests donations be made to The American Diabetes Association, 10 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701, in lieu of flowers.

Frances A (Graciale) Elswick

May 24, 1957 - May 23, 2013
Resided in Lynn, MA

Frances A. (Graciale) Elswick, age 55, of Lynn, died on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Massachusetts General Hospital with family by her side, after a brief battle with Leukemia. Born in Lynn in 1957, she was the daughter of Joyce (Camp) Graciale and the late Joseph Graciale. Frances attended Lynn schools and was a resident of Lynn all of her life.

Frances loved working out, kickboxing, Tae Bo, jogging, and bike riding. She especially liked working out with Master Lou Hopkins of East Coast Karate Academy. She was known as TiTi by all the kids. Frances helped her good friend Lee Barrett at Barrett's Bullpen for years. She loved Lee like a brother. She had a cleaning business and had developed a great friendship with all of her clients. Frances was a member of Holy Family Church in Lynn.

In addition to her mother Joyce Graciale, Frances is survived by her husband Dana Elswick of Maine; her daughter Jeanine Elswick and her boyfriend Michael Lugo of Lynn, her son Andy Elswick and his wife Diana Irizarry of Lynn, her stepdaughter Brandy Sequeira and her husband Maurice of Lynn; her 4 grandchildren and 5 step grandchildren Angelik Elswick who was like a daughter to her Anthony Elswick, Tianna Melendez, Marissa Thomas and great grandchild Josiah Morales; her brothers Adolph Graciale and his wife Amy of Nahant, Anthony Graciale, Donald Graciale and Joey Graciale all of Lynn; her sisters Mary Spinny of Lynn, Louise Owens and her husband Jim of Lynn, Jeanine Graciale of Danvers, MA, Hazel Borassa of NH and Joyce Guovia and husband Dave of Dighton, MA.

Frances was predeceased by her father Joseph Graciale, brother Leslie Graciale, and stepdaughter Wendy Elswick.

Her Funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 9 AM from the SOLIMINE, LANDERGAN & RICHARDSON FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rt. 129), Lynn, followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Family Church, Lynn at 10 AM. Cremation will follow at Harmony Grove Crematory, Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Timothy Glenn Harnois

August 29, 1962 - May 15, 2013
Resided in Lynn, MA

Timothy G. Harnois, age 50, of Lynn, died on Wednesday May 15, 2013, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers.

Born and raised in Lynn, he was the son of the late Edward and Jean (Brown) Harnois. He attended Lynn Schools and was a graduate of Lynn Vocational Tech, class of 1980. He was a licensed plumbing and HVAC specialist who first worked for Shapiro Plumbing of Swampscott. At the age of 35, he left Lynn and moved to the Buffalo, New York area to pursue a career with Home Depot. At Home Depot, he had worked as a department head. He was also the owner/proprietor of Aquamedic Plumbing Business, and had also worked for Franks Plumbing and Heating.

Timothy's passion was his work fostering for the Bright Star German shepherd Rescue Dogs. He was also an instructor and member of the Andover Sportsmen Club and of the North Shore Redmen Rifle and Pistol Club.

He is survived by 2 children Edward and Abigail Harnois, of Lockport, NY, four brothers James Harnois and his wife Linda, of Peabody, William Harnois, of Amesbury, Robert Harnois and his wife Ellen, of Lynn, and Michael Harnois, of Berwick, ME, his fiancé and primary caregiver Linda Comeau and her children and grandchildren, of Lynn, his grandmother Margaret LeBlanc, of Gulfport, Fla., his close friends Ed Walton and Peggy Kimball, of Lynn, many nieces and nephews, and his many foster dogs, especially Koda and Nicklaus.

His entire family would like to thank his many caregivers, including Dr. Dennis Sgroi, Dr. Lori Wirth, Dr. Vicki Jackson, as well as the Kaplan Family Hospice House of Hospice of the North Shore, and the MGH Cancer Center. They would also like to thank the Red Sox Foundation and Doug Flutie for their kindness.

Memorial Service in the Solimine Landergan and Richardson Funeral Home 426 Broadway (RTE129), Lynn, on Tuesday at 11am, preceded by Memorial Visitation from 9am-11am. Renette M. (Deveau) Kibbey

May 15, 1946 - May 6, 2013
Resided in Peabody, MA

Renette M. (Deveau) Kibbey, age 66, formerly of Lynn, died Monday after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late James Kibbey and mother of the late Debra Hinson. Born in East Boston, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Marie Rosalie (Lombard) Deveau. She lived in Lynn for the greater part of her life, and was a graduate of Lynn English High School, class of 1964.

Renette enjoyed golfing, shopping and traveling. She loved the Christmas season and her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

She is survived by a daughter; Kristina Kibbey; her grandsons; Robert Kibbey and James Hinson and his wife Stephanie; her great-grandchildren; James Steven Perry Hinson and Kyleigh Marie Hinson; her sister; Janis Thompson; her niece, Jamie Thompson-Benson, her nephew; Jason Thompson as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Monday at 12PM in the SOLIMINE, LANDERGAN AND RICHARDSON FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rt 129), Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visitation will be on Monday from 11AM-12PM, prior to the funeral.
