DELP, DOROTHY -- Dorothy Donnell (Evitts) Delp, 89, died Sunday August 6, 2006. She was the wife of the late William Russell Delp, with whom she shared 48 years of marriage.
Born on Dec. 4, 1916, in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Alvah and Pearl Donnell. At age twelve, following her fathers death Dorothy was adopted by the Evitts family. Raised and educated in Beverly, she then trained and worked as a nursemaid at the Northshore Baby Hospital until her marriage.
In 1945, Dot and Bill purchased their home in Danvers, where she enjoyed growing flowers, watching her birds and crocheting/sewing. She always was a good wife and mother and was an excellent cook. She was always happy she had a home where family could gather. She deeply loved her husband Bill and was very proud of his many accomplishments.
Dorothy, known as 'Nanny' to her grandchildrenwill be greatly missed. She added so much to the lives of those who knew and loved her. She had a keen wit and a sharp mind. Her life was not always easy but her strength of character and stability helped her create a beautiful home--a place of love and comfort.
She is survived by daughter, Judy and her husband Joe Potter of Danvers; a brother, Alvah Donnell of Maine; 4 grandchildren: Diana McKenna of Stow, Bill Sheldon and his wife Lori of TX, Lara Triehy and her husband Andy of NH, and Jonathan Ben-Ammi and his husband Gitai of WA; two great grandchildren, Katherine Dorothy Grace Sheldon and Aaron Matthew Triehy (who was born on her birthday); and a loving extended family. She was predeceased by her siblings, Myrtle Fern, George, and Harvey Donnell and Earl Evitts.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2006 at 11:30AM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Burial will follow in Holten Cemetery, Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 6-8PM in the funeral home.

GALBRAITH, MARY JANE -- Mary Jane (Robb) Galbraith died on July 27, 2006 in a local nursing facility following a long illness.
Born on December 26, 1929 in Evanston IL she was the daughter of the late Silas B. and Mary Alice (Wilson) Robb. With her parents she moved to Vancouver, Washington at age 16 where she met and married Clark E. Galbraith in 1947.
The epitome of the executive wife of her era, Mary Jane moved with her husband and growing family all over the country. She established wonderful homes over thirty years in Washington, Oregon, New Jersey, Minnesota and California, finally settling in Massachusetts in 1980 to be near her now adult children and to welcome her grandchildren into the world.
Prior to her retirement she was employed as a bookkeeper for several North Shore nursing homes.
Mary Jane doted on her family. She loved holidays, the theater, a good card game and dining at the finest restaurants.
She is survived by three daughters: Debra G. Alton and Gwen A. Gordon of Danvers and Wendy A. Diaz and her husband Kevin of North Andover. She leaves three grandchildren: Christopher G. Alton and Matthew A. Gordon of Danvers, James F. Diaz of North Andover and her step-grandson Gary M. Gordon of Texas.
A wonderful listener and friend to young people, her extended family also includes Timothy Laroque of Salem, Peter Goodwin of Danvers and David Goodwin of Beverly.
Mrs. Galbraith was predeceased by her son, Lon E. Galbraith, her son-in-law Gregory F. Alton, her former husband Clark E. Galbraith and her dear companion James H. Doherty.
Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a medical research charity of your choice. Arrangements by C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square.

SZYBIAK, FRED P. -- of Salem, Fred P. Szybiak, 60, died Wednesday, February 7, 2007 in his home, following a lengthy illness.
Born on April 29, 1946 in Salem, he was the son of Jane (Dubowick) Szybiak of Raymond, NH and the late Joseph Szybiak. He was raised and educated in Salem, and a lifelong resident of Salem. Mr. Szybiak served his country with the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged. Mr. Szybiak was a member of the V.F.W Post 1524 and also the Polish Falcons of America.
Besides his mother, Jane, he is survived by a daughter, Tracey Russo of Beverly, a son, Eric J. Bray of Newbury and a sister Carol (Szybiak) Woodard of Raymond, NH.
His services are private at the request of the family. Memorial contribution may be made in Fredricks name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.

GREGORY, JOSEPH -- Joseph Gregory, 91, died Sunday, February 11, 2007, following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of the late Cicely Rose (Berry) Gregory.
Born in Boston on Aug. 5, 1915, he was the son of the late Frank and Dora ( Albano ) DeGregorio. He was raised and educated in Somerville and was a Middleton resident for over thirty years. For the last twenty years, he made his home in Sarasota, Florida.
Mr. Gregory was employed for several years as a baker at the Danvers State Hospital, and then for many years until the time of his retirement as a service man for the former Country Gas Company.
He was active in the Masonic Community, as a member of Builders Lodge #376, Sahib Shrine, Samoor Grotto, and Eastern Star, all in Sarasota.
He is survived by ten children: John McLean of FL, Peter McLean of Maine, Gregory McLean of Lowell, Joseph Gregory of Salisbury, Robert Gregory of Beverly, Martha Rheaume of Haverhill, Linda Mansur of FL, Rosamond Gregory of NC, Charlene MacNeal of NC, and Patricia Gregory of Woburn; his brothers and sisters: Albert Gregory of Woburn, Charles Gregory of Revere, Grace Alloso of Medford, and Marie Liotino of Reading; 32 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and 11 great great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Anthony Gregory.
His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007 at 10AM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery, Middleton. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at the funeral home. A Masonic Service will be held during visitation at 7PM.

BUCKLEY, PATRICIA -- Patricia J. (Waldron) Buckley, 50, died at her home following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Gary Buckley.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of Mildred (Dunham) Waldron and the late Edgar Waldron. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Danvers High School . She then received her degree in nursing from the former Lynn Hospital School of Nursing. She was a longtime resident of the North Shore .
She was employed throughout the area at hospitals and in the insurance industry.
She was a loving mother and a devoted Nonnie to her granddaughter, Emma. She loved living in rural New Hampshire . Her dog, Muffin, was the love of her life.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Melissa (Waldron) Silvey of Gonic, NH; her granddaughter, Emma Rackliff, a brother, Michael Waldron, and two sisters, Pami Blaustein and Nancy Costigan.
Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday evening at 7PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Visiting Hours will precede the service from 5:30-7PM. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Southeastern New Hampshire Services, a low-income drug and alcohol rehab agency special to Patricia, at 272 County Farm Rd., Dover, NH 03820 .

FILLMORE, RUTH -- Ruth E. (Hamilton) Fillmore, 98 of Beverly, died Wednesday evening in a local nursing facility following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Basil W Fillmore.
Born in Everett the daughter of the late Ulysses Grant and Minnie Mae (Mackenzie) Hamilton, she was raised and educated in Beverly and was a graduate of Beverly High School Class of 1925. She was a lifelong resident of Beverly.
Prior to her retirement she was employed as a sales clerk at Almys in Beverly for over twenty five years. She was a member of the Beverly Womens Bowling League and the Neighborhood Card Club. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family gatherings. She also was an avid Red Sox Fan.
She survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Maralyn Klibansky and her husband Walter, Polly Fumarola and her husband William Jr. all of Beverly and Jacquelin Davis of Danvers; eight grandchildren, Debra Cambridge of Essex, Stephen and Todd Klibansky, Carmella Lauranzano and Paul Dube all of Berverly, Mark Dube of Lowell, William Fumarola III of Chester, NH and Cheryl Bozek of Exeter, NH. and seventeen greatgrandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late, Mildred Sherman, Dorothy Davis, Phylis Hamilton, Glory Hussey, amd John, Mike and Harry Hamilton.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday at 10:00AM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Vst. Hrs. will be Sunday from 2-4 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in North Beverly Cemetery. FLEURY, MICHAEL W. -- Michael W. Fleury, Sr., 43, died Wednesday morning at the Beth Israel-Deaconess Medical Center with his wife by his side following a courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of Theresa L. (Calitri) Fleury, with whom he shared nearly twelve years of marriage.
Born in Salem on May 15, 1963, he was the son of Lorraine (DeRosier) Fleury and the late Joseph W. Fleury. He was raised and educated in Middleton and was a graduate of the Greater Lawrence Vocational Technical High School, Class of 1981.
Originally a painter by trade, he became involved in the operation of the family restaurant business and was manager at both Calitri's and Sam & Joe's.
Mike was an outdoorsman who loved snowmobiling and was a Patriots and Red Sox Fan. He was a loving father and husband and a dedicated family man.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Angela Nancie Fleury and Michael W. Fleury, Jr., both of Danvers; two brothers: Joseph Fleury Jr. of Lynn and Phillip Raza and his wife Joan of North Andover; two sisters and their husbands: Alice and Ed Raia of Stoneham and Marie and Ron Provencher of Derry, NH; his brothers and sisters-in-law: James Scannel, Antinetta & Phil Ryan, Marie & Tony Bettencourt, Ralph & Tracy Calitri, Angie Calitri, Tony & Pam Calitri, and Joanna & Walter Giampietro; and his nieces and nephews: Eddie & Eric Raia, Phillip, Matthew, & Rebecca Raza, Joseph & Courtney Ryan, Jill, Mark, & Bree Anderson, Jolene and Rachael Bettencourt, Katie, Rosa, Angela, Peter, Michael, Joseph, & Nicholas Calitri, and Haley & Marissa Giampietro. He was predeceased by his brothers, Norman and Raymond Fleury, and a sister, Nancie Scannel.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 12:30PM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting Hours are Friday from 3-7PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Donations in Mike's name may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN, 38105.

CUSHING, JOHN P. --John P. Cushing, 75, died Tuesday evening at a local nursing facility following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Joan M. (Moritz) Cushing, with whom he shared fifty-five years of marriage.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Richard and Catherine (Coffield) Cushing. He was raised and educated in Roxbury and was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Brookline. A Peabody resident for forty years, he had made his home in Danvers for the last seven years. He was an honorably discharged veteran.
For many years he was employed as a salesman for the Huse Liberty Mica Company.
He was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Parish in Peabody, and was a parishioner of St. Richard Church in Danvers for the last several years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by six children: John Cushing and his wife Kristine of Seattle, WA, Stephen Cushing of Michigan, Gregory Cushing and his wife Sharon of Tewksbury, Marian Ciruolo and her husband Anthony of Danvers, Joan Sands and her husband Thomas of Sandown, NH, and Denise LaRoche and her husband Robert of Hudson, NH; 5 sisters: Sr. Helen Cushing and Sr. Regina Cushing, both Sisters of Charity of Halifax, Barbara Pumphrey, Nancy McGuiggan, and Teresa Currie; 18 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. He was the brother of the late Richard and Robert Cushing, Rita Owens, and Mary Ryan.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10AM in St. Richard Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Friday from 5-9PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square.

MOORE, HAROLD G. -- Harold G. Moore, 77, of Estero, Fla., passed away Friday, Feb. 2, 2007 in Bonita Springs, Fla. A former resident of Topsfield, he had resided in Estero for the past 18 years.
He was born Sept. 22, 1929 in Danvers, a son of the late Harold W. and Dorothy (Eells) Moore.
He was a veteran, having served in the Merchant Marine and the U.S. Army.
From 1962 to 1966 he was a police officer in Middleton, and from 1966 until his retirement in 1981 he worked for the Topsfield Police Department, retiring as chief of police.
He was a member of the Massachusetts Chief of Police Association, the Essex County Police Investigations Association, the Danvers Shriners and the Middleton Rotary Club.
Chief Moore is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn G. Moore of Estero, Fla.; three sons, Harold G. "Butch" Moore and his wife, Paula of Sandown, N.H., Darrell W. Moore and his wife, Donna of Topsfield, and Wayne J. Moore and his wife, Lisa of Plaistow, N.H.; three sisters, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Chief Moore will be held in May at the Holten cemetery in Danvers at a date and time to be announced. Arrangements will be announced by C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square.
