JEFFERSON, ANNE -- Anne L. (McKeon) Jefferson, 80, died Thursday evening at a local nursing facility following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of Philip W. Jefferson, Jr., with whom she shared nearly fifty-seven years of marriage.
Born in Marlborough on Aug. 12, 1926, Anne was the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (Matthews) McKeon. She was raised and educated in Marlborough and was a graduate of Marlborough High School, Class of 1943. She went on to earn her bachelors degree in 1947 from Worcester State Teachers College.
For several years, Anne was elementary school teacher in Marlborough and Lynnfield; and then for more than twenty years in the Beverly School Department at both the Beadle School and the Ryalside School.
A Danvers resident for more than thirty years, she was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, where she and her husband were active in the Catholic Mr. & Mrs. Club. Anne was past president of the Hunt Memorial Hospital Aide Society and a member of the Hunt Auxiliary for many years. She also served on the Marlborough Hospital Auxiliary and the Anna Jacques Hospital Auxiliary, where she served as Legislative Chairman for several years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Ellen J. Chaisson and her husband George Ed of Swampscott, David M. Jefferson of Newburyport, and Philip W. Jefferson and his wife Susan of Hamilton; a sister, Irene Riley of Hopkinton; four grandchildren: Michelle, Elizabeth, and Christine Chaisson and Julia Jefferson; and several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9AM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Wadsworth Cemetery, Summer St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Monday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Seacoast Nursing & Rehab. Center, 292 Washington St., Gloucester, MA 01930.

PELLETIER, JUDITH -- Judith A. Pelletier, 67, died unexpectedly Thursday morning, July 5, 2007 at Beverly Hospital. She was the wife of the late Donald R. Dick Pelletier.
Born in Gloucester on January 15, 1940, she was the daughter of the late C. Fletcher and M. Evelyn (Griffin) Wonson. She was raised and educated in Gloucester and was a graduate of Gloucester High School. She was a Danvers resident for many years and had lived at Cable Gardens in Ipswich for several years.
Prior to starting her family, Mrs. Pelletier worked as an x-ray technician at Concord Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Dawn M. and Peter M. Weston of Danville, NH; two granddaughters, Caitlin J. and Emily M. Weston; her brothers and sisters and their spouses: John and Dianne Wonson, Peter and Nancy Wonson, Faye and Gary Anderson, and Beth Wonson and her partner Jeannie Carpenter; brothers and sisters-in-law, Nancy and Robert Marshall, Marilyn and Donald Norwood, Betty Kirk, Joyce and Phillip Piwonski, Gail Woodward, Jeffrey and Barbara Pelletier and Susan and Len Ortins; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Gary W. Pelletier.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday at 9AM in Holten Cemetery, Holten Street, Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. There are no visiting hours. WINSKOWICZ, BENJAMIN -- Benjamin A. Winskowicz, 91, died early Monday morning, July 2, 2007 at his home following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of the late Phyllis (Kasprowicz) Winskowicz.
Born in Salem on Jan. 21, 1916, he was the son of the late John and Eva Winskowicz. He was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of the Beverly Trade School and Salem Commercial School. He was a resident of Danvers for many years, resided in Connecticut for several years, and made his home in Essex following his retirement.
For over forty years, Mr. Winskowicz was employed by the former United Shoe Manufacturing Corp., first in Beverly and later at the Connecticut plant.
He was an avid Red Sox fan, and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his two children: Ronald Winskowicz and his wife Barbara of Hilton Head, SC, and Gail Honychurch of Woodbury, CT; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and his former wife, Lorraine Salsman of Ipswich. He was predeceased by a grandson, Adam Honychurch, and his brothers and sister, John and Charles Winskowicz and Helen Sayer.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9AM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Hobart St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Thursday from 5-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. COSTELLO, RITA -- Rita M. (Sampson) Costello, 87, died Sunday, June 17, 2007 at a local nursing facility. She was the wife of the late George Costello and Edward Brosque.
Born in Marblehead on Jan. 21, 1920, she was raised and educated in Marblehead and was a graduate of Marblehead High School. She had been a Danvers resident for nearly forty years.
Mrs. Costello had been employed at Salem Laundry for nearly twenty years and enjoyed bowling.
She is survived by a daughter, Frances Hull of Troy, NH; a son, Steve Brosque of New Ipswich, NH; three grandchildren: Mary Cote, Clifford Hull, and Russell Hull; seven great-grandchildren; seven great great-grandchildren; and three nephews. She was the sister of the late Lance Sampson.
Her Funeral Service was held privately on Wednesday. Burial was in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Danvers. Donations in Ritas memory may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, P.O. Box 29119, Phoenix, AZ 85038.

ESSEX, JOSEPH E. -- Joseph Edward Essex, 85, died Wednesday, June 06, 2007 at a nursing home in Milton following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of the late Edith (Thissle) Essex, with whom he shared forty-nine years of marriage.
Born in Somerville on May 9, 1922, he was the son of the late Charles and Caroline (Crotta) Essex. He was raised and educated in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School, Class of 1940. He was a Beverly resident for nearly fifty years.
For many years, Mr. Essex owned and operated the Harris Ave. Nursing Home in Jamaica Plain, the Robert Lewis Nursing Home in Dorchester, and the Washington Heights Nursing Home in Haverhill.
He was a longtime member of the Church of the Nazarene in Danvers.
He is survived by a daughter, Carrie-Lynn Hubisz of Peabody; a brother, John Essex of Hyde Park; a sister, Anne Koch of New York; and six grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Mary Koch.
His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2007 at 10AM at in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Burial will follow in North Beverly Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. As requested, there are no visiting hours. Donations in Josephs memory may be made to the Church of the Nazarene, 181 Dayton St., Danvers, MA 01923.

WEBB, JUDY -- Judy (Mullen) (Capra) Webb, 67, a longtime Danvers resident, died Saturday, May 26, 2007 following an extended illness. She was the wife of William S. Webb, with whom she shared 17 years of marriage.
Born in Jamestown, NY on May 4, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Sarah (Roode) Mullen. She was raised and educated in Jamestown and was a graduate of Jamestown High School. She received her nursing degree from the Sisters of Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, NY and her MSN from Boston University.
She served as a nurse in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era.
For many years, Judy was employed as a psychiatric nurse in the mental health profession and had previously been employed as a nurse at the former Hunt Memorial Hospital.
A resident of Fayette, ME for the last 10 years, Judy was a parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Church in Winthrop, ME and St. Mary of the Annunciation Church in Danvers.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by two sons: James Capra of Natick and Peter Capra of Salem; two step-daughters: Marcia Webb-Donarumo of Templeton and Wendy Ouellette of Westford; a stepson, Michael Webb of Raleigh, NC; two brothers: Patrick Mullen of OH and Henry Mullen, Jr. of GA; two sisters: Mary Waxham and Denise Mullen, both of KY; seven grandchildren: Julia, Victoria, Clothilde, and Nicolo Donarumo, Jacob and Mackenzie Capra, and Mairead Ouellette; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a step-daughter, Melissa Webb, and a sister, Kathy Procter.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11AM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Visiting Hours are Thursday from 4 to 8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Judys name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Main St., Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086.

GAUDET, DOROTHY -- Dorothy J. (Ouimette) Gaudet, 69, died early Thursday morning at the Kaplan Family Hospice House following an extended illness. She was the wife of Wilfred Gaudet, with whom she shared forty-seven years of marriage.
Born in Salem on September 27, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Malena (Maynard) Ouimette. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Holten High School, Class of 1955. She was a lifelong Danvers resident.
For more than thirty-five years, Dorothy was employed by Hotwatt of Danvers.
Dottie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved camping and playing bingo and was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Annunciation Church.
The Gaudet family is grateful to all those who cared for Dottie during her illness.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children and their spouses: David and Kimberly Gaudet of NH, Robert and Monica Gaudet of Peabody, Denise and Scott Moore of Danvers, Diane and Brian Quintal of Peabody, and Jeanette and John Dakessian of Danvers; her brothers and sisters: Donald and Wallace Ouimette, Flora LaChance, Rita Zagarella, and Eleanor Page; eight grandchildren: Tyler and Kelsie Dakessian, Justin and Derek Moore, and Michael, Gus, Amanda, and Kellie Gaudet; and several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11AM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Sunday from 4-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. BOUSQUET, BRO. ROBERT, CFX -- Brother Robert Bousquet, C.F.X., a member of the Congregation of the Xaverian Brothers for fifty-nine years, died on May 3 after a long illness at age seventy-six at Nazareth Home in Louisville, Kentucky.
The son of the late Robert Bousquet and Josephine Browne Bousquet, he was born in Medford, MA, on December 7, 1930. After attending Malden Catholic for one year, he finished his high school education at St. Joseph Juniorate in Peabody, MA, and formally entered the Xaverian Brothers in 1948, receiving the religious name Aquin. Earning his BA degree from Catholic University in 1953, he began his educational apostolate at Mt. St. Joseph High School in Baltimore.
From 1958 to 1962 Brother Robert was stationed at St. Johns Prep in Danvers where he taught French and moderated the school choir, glee club and orchestra. During those years he also studied for his Master of Music degree from Catholic University; a doctorate in French from Georgetown University would follow nine years later while he was a faculty member of Xaverian College in Silver Spring, MD. For twenty-three years, from 1970 to 1993, Brother Robert was a fixture on the Lowell University campus where he taught all levels of French. And throughout his teaching career, he continued his life-long interest in music. Incredibly talented he could play almost all instruments he organized and conducted several instrumental and chamber music groups.
It was while he was community director of Xaverian House, the Brothers retirement facility on the campus of St. Johns Prep, that Brother Robert was first afflicted with the Parkinsons disease which would eventually ravage his body but not his spirit and enthusiasm for life. When Xaverian House was closed temporarily for renovations in 2000, he moved to Louisville where he remained until his death.
His final years were spent at Nazareth Home, a nursing facility, where, despite complete paralysis, he continued to inspire and edify the staff, fellow patients and his Xaverian confreres.
Brother Robert is survived by his sisters Maryanne Zeilinski of Manchester, NH; Claire Bousquet of Charlestown, NH; Carol Bousquet Chop of Orange Park, FL; and Paula Dobeck of Schwenksville, PA, as well as fourteen nieces and nephews and eighteen grand nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be on Monday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the St. Johns Preparatory School Chapel (Administration Building). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Prep Chapel on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Xaverian Brothers Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of C. R. Lyons and Sons Funeral Directors, Danvers Square. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Brothers memory may be made to the Xaverian Brothers Retirement Fund at Xaverian Brothers, 4409 Frederick Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21229.

DODGE, ANNETTE -- Annette C. (St. Hilaire) Dodge, 83, died Monday evening, May 7, 2007 following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late George Bud Dodge, Jr., with whom she shared over fifty years of marriage.
Born in Danvers on Aug. 12, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Diana (Gagnon) St. Hilaire. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Holten High School. She was a lifelong Danvers resident.
Annette was a skilled bookkeeper and had been employed at Sylvania in Salem, and then for many years at the Weathersfield Dairy in Danvers and then at Temco Corp in Danvers.
She was one of the last of the 52 Club, her bridge club. Annette was a communicant of St. Mary of the Annunciation Church. She was dedicated to her family.
She is survived by two sons: Wayne Dodge and his wife Ruthann of Washington, DC, and Glenn Dodge of Beverly; a granddaughter, Aimee Bernard of Haverhill; 7 great-grandchildren: Ryan and Lindsay Kelly, and Evelyn, Catherine, Lucy, Eden, and Grace Bernard; and a sister, Frances Pat Currier of Danvers.
She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Robin Dodge.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9AM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers., Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Thursday from 3:30-7:30PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Donations in Annettes name may be made to the North Shore ARC, 64 Holten St., Danvers, MA 01923.
