OUIMETTE, ROSALIE -- Rosalie M. (Renaud) Ouimette, 67, died Friday evening at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a lengthy illness. She was the loving wife of Donald Ouimette, with whom she shared 48 years of marriage.
Born in Waite, Maine on June 6, 1940, she was the daughter of Edward and Charlotte (Rideout) Renaud of Eastport, ME. She was raised and educated in Waite before making her home in Danvers for several years before moving to Peabody, where she lived for more than 45 years.
Primarily a homemaker, Rosalie had also been employed in local optometry offices. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, and was an avid reader.
In addition to her husband and parents, she leaves her children: Sheila Walters and her husband Roger of Hooksett, NH, Deborah Ouimette of Beverly, Dolores Ouimette of Beverly, Donald Ouimette and his wife Beverly of Danvers, Edward Ouimette and his wife Susan of Mesa, AZ and Robert Ouimette and his wife Lisa of Mesa, AZ; a sister, Greta Renaud of Maine, 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be Tuesday from 4-7PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. A funeral service will follow at 7:15PM in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private.

LYNCH, VIRGINIA -- Virginia R. (Monahan) Lynch, 81, died early Tuesday morning at Beverly Hospital following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Ralph R. Lynch, with whom she shared over fifty years of marriage.
Born in Danvers on Feb. 8, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Beatrice Monahan. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was employed by the Friend Box Company. Virginia was an active member/advocate for the National Federation of the Blind of Massachusetts for many years.
She was a resident of Lynn for nearly fifty years where she raised her family and had been a parishioner of St. Pius V Church until returning to Danvers in recent years.
She is survived by her children: Patricia Lynch, Ralph Lynch Jr., Francis Lynch, and Michael Lynch, and four grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Betty Ann Greene, and the late Francis Monahan Jr.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11AM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow at 1PM in Winthrop Cemetery, Winthrop. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Friday from 3-7PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. In lieu of flowers, donations in Virginias memory may be made to the Natl Federation of the Blind, 1800 Johnson St., Baltimore, MD 21230.

ZUK, SENA -- Sena Baker Zuk, of Danvers, wife of the late Carl Zuk, editor of the company newspaper of GTE Sylvania, now Osram Sylvania, died peacefully at her home on November 19, 2007.
Born in Danvers, MA, on February 4, 1927, she was the daughter of Sigurd Baker, a leather worker who immigrated from Norway and Katherine A. Malia Baker.
In her youth, she enjoyed figure skating at the Mill Pond, in Danvers. She began her working career in 1943 at Sylvania in Danvers, where she and many of her high school classmates worked after school supporting the World War II war effort making transistor parts for submarines. She was a member of the 1944 Holten High womens Basketball team. She also was the class secretary of the graduating class of 1945.
Upon her high school graduation from Holten High School in 1945 she became a civilian employee of the United States Department of the Navy in Boston where she received a commendation from the Admiral of the First Naval District. In 1948 she transferred to the Veterans Administration at 17 Court St. Boston where she assisted in the administration of the pensions of disabled veterans. She left the work force in 1950 to start her family. She and her husband of 45 years had two daughters, Kristine and Karlene. She returned to work full time in 1962 to the Boston St. Sylvania plant in Salem. Upon her retirement in 1989 she was the Managing Editor of Sylvanias 27 company newspapers.
After her retirement she traveled extensively. She remained affectionately and actively involved in the lives of her daughters, childhood friends and classmates, nieces and nephews and her grand nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed her enthusiastic lifelong following of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and Danvers High School.
She will be deeply missed by family and friends and is survived by her daughter Karlene J. Zuk of Danvers and her grandson, John P. Morfis of Danvers as well as her beloved sister in-laws Stacia Pelletier of Danvers and Laura Pope of Pompano Beach, FL, her nieces Marilyn Nugent and her husband John of Villanova, PA and Dorothy Gibney of Peabody and nephews, Peter Zuk of Danvers, Norman Zuk and his wife Nancy of Danvers, Gregory Zuk of North Miami, Florida, Michael Zuk and his wife Janelle of North Hampton, NH, Jason Pelletier and his wife Carol of Rowley and Parris Pelletier and his wife Nanci Lee of Danvers, and grand nephews Peter D. and Andrew Zuk and his fiancée Beth Demers and grand nieces Elizabeth and Jolene Zuk, Sydney and Courtney Pelletier and David and Michelle and Richard Morin. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her niece Nancy Morin and her daughter Kristine.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9AM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Friday from 4-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. ROSE, MELVIN -- Melvin A. Rose, 77, died Saturday afternoon at Beverly Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Gloucester on November 13, 1929, he was the son of the late Manuel and Isabel (Saper) Rose. He was raised and educated in Gloucester and was a graduate of Gloucester High School.
He was a resident of Middleton for most of his life, and for the last several years made his home in Danvers.
Mr. Rose made his career in the mental health field. He began his career as a registered nurse at the Danvers State Hospital where he worked for many years and then was employed as an administrator at Baldpate Hospital in Georgetown. He also earned a Ph.D. in psychology and worked as a psychologist in private practice.
He is survived by a brother, Robert Rose of Salem, and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Delinda Wagner, Mary Rose, Bella Mack, Mabel Nelson, and Dulce Friend.
As requested, burial services will be private. There are no visiting hours. MOUHTOURIS, JIMI -- James F. Jimi Mouhtouris, 57, died unexpectedly at his home in Danvers on Thursday, October 25, 2007. He was the husband for 37 years of Susan (Prentiss) Mouhtouris.
Born in Salem on March 9, 1950, he was the son of the late Laura and Raymond Vallee and the late Christ Mouhtouris. He was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Danvers High School, Class of 1968. He attended Lowell Tech until enlisting in the U.S. Army. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the Vietnam War.
For nearly thirty-five years, Jimi was employed as a methods planner at the General Electric Riverworks plant in Lynn.
He loved gardening, fishing, cookingespecially Greek cuisineand traveling. He especially enjoyed spending time in York, Maine.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Angel Mouhtouris and Niki Mouhtouris, a Goddaughter, Kristen Moore, two dear friends, Michael Wrigley and Billy Prentiss, and a loving extend family of sisters, a brother, many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
He was predeceased by his loving father and mother-in-law, Raymond and Phyllis Prentiss, and his pet companion of 21 years, Queenie the cat.
His Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10AM in Calvary Episcopal Church, corner of Holten and Cherry Sts., Danvers. Burial will follow in Wadsworth Cemetery, Summer St., Danvers. Visiting hours are Monday from 4-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square.

DICKINSON, THOMAS -- Thomas E. Dickinson, 63, died late Tuesday evening, October 9, 2007 at Salem Hospital following a brief illness. He was the husband of Jane (Pearl) (Lefavour) Dickinson, with whom he shared fifteen years of marriage.
Born in Monongahela, Pennsylvania on June 1, 1944, he was the son of the late William Dickinson and Ona Mae (Angus) (Dickinson) Haggerty. He was raised and educated in Brockton and was a graduate of Brockton High School. He lived in Winchester for many years and then in Peabody before moving to Danvers fifteen years ago.
Thom was employed for several years as a vice president at Winchester Savings Bank, and had been employed in recent years as an accountant at North Shore Elder Services.
For several years, Thom was treasurer of the Danvers Historical Society and was an active member of the Danvers Kiwanis Club. He also enjoyed volunteering his time with the NSMC Cancer Center Walk for many years. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Topsfield.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children and their spouses: Stephen and Kimberly Dickinson of Merrimac and Lisa and Van Schmuck of Houston, TX; his step-children: Bradford Dexter Lefavour and his fiancée Carol Krokenberger of Middlesex, VT, Jennifer Rossignol of Orlando, FL, and Clark Lefavour of Southboro; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Mae Dickinson of Wareham, a sister, Rev. Billie Mae Gordon of Middleboro; 8 grandchildren: Amy, Megan, Emily, Evan, Nathan, Christine, Hans, and Lucy; and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother-in-law of the late Kenneth Gordon.
His Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday at 2PM in Trinity Episcopal Church, 124 River Rd., Topsfield. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Friday from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. WOODRUFF, FREDERICK, M. of Danvers, Frederick Matthew Woodruff, 57, died suddenly at Beverly Hospital on September 26, 2007.
Born in Danvers, on April 9, 1950, he was the son of the late Dwight C., Jr. and Maria (Krause) Woodruff. Mr. Woodruff graduated from Danvers High School in 1969. He received his Associates degree from North Shore Community College and continued his education at Salem State College graduating with a B.S. in Business Administration. Mr. Woodruff had most recently been employed as a ticket collector at the AMC Theaters at the Liberty Tree Mall.
He is survived by his brother Dwight C. Woodruff III of Danvers.
Mr. Woodruff's services will be private at the request of the family. Arrangements are made by C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers.

ROSSI, SUNTINA -- Suntina P. (Ciarciello) Rossi, 81, died on her wedding anniversary, Monday, October 1, 2007, following a brief illness. She was the wife of Michael Rossi, with whom she shared fifty-two years of marriage.
Born in Topsfield on Nov. 2, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria (Calitri) Ciarciello. She was raised and educated in Topsfield and was a graduate of Topsfield High School, Class of 1943. She had been a Danvers resident since 1955.
For several years, Mrs. Rossi was employed as an operator for New England Telephone & Telegraph. Then, for twenty-two years, she worked as a cook at St. Mary of the Annunciation School in Danvers.
Mrs. Rossi was a parishioner of St. Richard Church and a member of Our Ladys Sodality. She was dedicated to her home and family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Rev. Joseph Rossi of St. Pius V Church in Lynn and David Rossi and his wife Laura of Georgetown, two grandchildren: Michael and Catherine Rossi of Georgetown, a sister, Mary Romanowicz of Danvers, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Jennie Femino and Carmela Ellsworth.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10AM in Saint Richard Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Thursday from 5-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Rossis name may be made to St. Richard Parish, 90 Forest St., Danvers, MA 01923 or St. Pius V Parish, 215 Maple St., Lynn, MA 01904.

CHURCHILL, ALBERT W. of Danvers, formerly of Beverly, Albert Al W. Churchill, 77, died suddenly at Beverly Hospital on Sunday, September 30, 2007.
Born in Beverly on Oct. 21, 1929, he was the son of the late Albert W. and Katharine A. (Matheson) Churchill. He was raised and educated in Beverly and a Beverly High graduate of 1947. Mr. Churchill was employed as a production supervisor at Sylvania, Transitron, MA/COM and E G & G in Salem. He also was employed at the former Kings Grant. Mr. Churchill was most recently employed with the Town Of Beverly as a crossing guard at the Briscoe Middle School. He served his country with the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
Mr. Churchill was very active within his community for more than 30 years. He was affiliated with Beverly Little League for three decades and was instrumental in the development and operations of the Harry Ball Field. He also was president of the Beverly Little League for nearly two decades. He was one of the founders of the Beverly Midget Football League, as well as coach and officer for many years as well as Pop Warner football leagues. Mr. Churchill was a member of the Beverly Recreation Commission, reappointed by several mayors, and was instrumental in the construction of the Myles McPherson Youth Center. He was also active in the Ryal Side Civic Assoc., the former Upton School PTA, the Knights of Columbus, the Association for Handicapped Children, the former St. Alphonsus Parish, the Holy Name Society, the YMCA Basketball league and was recipient of the Service to Youth Award by the Beverly Regional YMCA.
Mr. Churchill is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Paul and Carol Churchill of Danvers, Kevin and Cynthia Churchill of Beverly and David Churchill of Beverly, a daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Carmon Herrick of Wenham, a loving companion Rosalyn Roz Feinberg of Danvers, seven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Theresa (LHeureux) Churchill, three sisters, Sally Hatt, Jane Churchill and Natalie Ferreira.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thurs., Oct. 4, 2007 at 9:00AM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in North Beverly Cemetery. Vst. Hrs. are Weds. 4-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Mr. Churchills name to the Hospice of the North Shore, 10 Elm St., Danvers.

BAKER, BARBARA CODEY -- Barbara Codey Baker, age 85, of Brooksby Village in Peabody, Massachusetts, died after a brief illness on Friday, September 21, 2007. Mrs. Baker, formerly of Westport and Stratford, Connecticut, moved to Brooksby Village in 2002 following the death of her husband, Peter Baker. She was one of the early residents of Brooksby Village and was active in many of the community organizations. For many years she served as a deacon at the Sunday morning Catholic services at Brooksby.
For over 30 years Mrs. Baker served as Accounting Manager of The Westport Electric Company. She was a member of the Oronoque Garden Club, The Bellarmine Guild, Sharecroppers, St. Marks Womens League, Hadassah and The Red Hat Society.
She is survived by her daughter Kathleen and son-in-law Keith Taylor of Beverly, Massachusetts; son, Tom Baker of Santa Monica, California; grandchildren Keith Taylor and Torin Taylor and his wife Anika, three great grandchildren: Nils, Augusta, and Ernest, and several nieces.
Internment will be private, and there will be no calling hours. A memorial Mass and reception will be held at Brooksby Village at a date to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mrs. Bakers name to VNA of Middlesex-East, Visiting Nurse Hospice, 607 North Avenue, Suite 17, Wakefield, MA. 01880; www.vnaofme.org.
