O'DONNELL, JEAN G. -- Jean G. (Doyle) O'Donnell, 80, died Friday morning, January 18, 2008 in her home following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Richard J. O'Donnell, with whom she shared nearly 60 years of marriage.
Born in Boston on May 9, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ann (Gleason) Doyle. She was raised and educated in Stoneham and was a graduate of Stoneham High School. She went on to receive a bachelors degree from Regis College and a masters degree from USC.
Mrs. O'Donnell was an Arlington resident for many years before moving to Boxford more than 30 years ago.
She made her career as a computer programmer working for the Dept. of the Navy at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children and their spouses: Jean M. and Donald Breuler of CT, Maryanne and John Messina of PA, Richard J. and Pamela O'Donnell of Essex, Charles M. and Denise ODonnell of Chelmsford, and James P. and Kessina O'Donnell of Boxford; 12 grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Donegan of Pembroke.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10AM in St. Rose of Lima Church, Park St., Topsfield. Burial will follow in Boxford Village Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4-7PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeans name may be made to VNA Care Network, 5 Federal St., Danvers, MA 01923.

ANDREWS, EVELYN -- Evelyn M. Andrews, 89, died Monday morning at a local nursing facility following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late George J. Andrews, with whom she shared more than 30 years of marriage.
Born in Widham, England on July 19, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Richard and May (Mecklenburgh) Lynch. After coming to the U.S. as a young child, she was raised and educated in Beverly, where she resided until moving to Danvers more than thirty years ago.
For many years, Evelyn was employed as a furrier at Dexters Furrier in Salem.
A loving mother and grandmother, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, George and Carol Andrews of Clermont, FL; two grandchildren: Jody Wood of FL and Michael Andrews of AL; 6 great grandchildren; her brothers and sisters: Earl Lynch, Edward Lynch, Joan Morin, and Madeline McAskill, two dear friends: Doris Kearney and Peg Collins, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Richard & John Lynch, Mabel Callahan, and Mary Byrnes.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 9AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Beverly. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 4-7PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Evelyns name may be made to Hospice of the North Shore, 10 Elm St., Danvers, MA 01923.

FAGG, ROSA -- Rosa W. Fagg, 93, died Saturday, January 12, 2008 at a local nursing facility following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Benjamin R. Fagg.
Born in Nova Scotia, Canada, on April 2, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Willimina (Anchurtz) Evanitzki. She was raised and educated in Nova Scotia and had been a Danvers resident for many years.
An accomplished homemaker, Mrs. Fagg also worked at the former Snows Bakery and the former Murphys Fruit Market in Danvers Square.
She was a member of the Maple Street Congregational Church and was active at the Danvers Senior Center.
She is survived by two sons: Joseph A. Fagg and his wife Amy Levine-Fagg of Salem and Rev. Paul D. Sanderson and his wife Darlene of Foxboro; three grandchildren: Corey, Jonathan, and Kristen Sanderson; and three great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Freda Lewis, William Evanitzki, Julius Evanitzki, and Arthur Evanitzki.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 10:30AM in the McElroy Chapel of the Maple Street Congregational Church, 90 Maple St., Danvers. As requested, there are no visiting hours and burial was held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Faggs memory may be made to the Maple Street Congregational Church Memorial Fund, 90 Maple St., Danvers, MA 01923.

STEVENS, JEANETTE -- Jeanette G. (Lebel) Stevens, 76, died Friday afternoon at the Kaplan Family Hospice House following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Philip H. Stevens.
Born in Lynn on Dec. 30, 1931, she was the daughter of Arthur and Evelyn (Desrosier) Lebel. She was raised and educated in Lynn and had been a Danvers resident for nearly sixty years.
For almost forty years until she became ill, Jeanette was employed at Hotwatt in Danvers Square.
A communicant of St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, she enjoyed gardening, tending to her yard, traveling, and especially loved dancing.
Jeanette is survived by her children: Cathy LeClair of Danvers, Randy Stevens and his wife Kathleen of Newmarket, NH, Mark Stevens and his companion Marie Innis of Peabody, and Kevin Stevens and his wife Kimberly of Danvers; her grandchildren: Kimberly LeClair of Gloucester, Keith LeClair of Rockport, Ryan Stevens of Peabody, and Christopher Stevens of NH; her sisters and brother: Lori Roberto, Rosemary Pappas, and Paul Lebel; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother and sister, Arthur and Lorraine.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 9AM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square.

MEERS, LILIANE -- Liliane M. Meers, 52, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008 following a lengthy illness. She was the loving companion of Timothy Beede, with whom she shared the last nineteen years of her life.
Born in Brussels, Belgium on March 24, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Jacques and Christiane (Fievez) Meers. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Danvers High School.
A Merrimac resident for the last twenty-five years, Liliane was employed at GTE-Sylvania for many years as a financial specialist.
She was a loving, caring, and generous person, she loved to dance.
In addition to her companion, she is survived by a sister, Colette Plas of Danvers, and a loving extended family.
A Graveside service will be held today, Friday, July 11, 2008 at 11AM in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Sylvan St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. As requested, there are no visiting hours.

MATHISON, JESSICA -- Jessica (Carpenter) Mathison, 68, of Middleton Rd., Boxford, beloved wife of Charles W. Mathison, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2008, after a long battle with cancer at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, surrounded by her family.
Born in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Sophie (Bush) Carpenter. She was raised and educated in Lynnfield, MA and was a graduate of Wakefield High School, class of 1957. She continued her education at Woburn Business School.
Jessica was employed as a real estate agent with Town Crier Properties in Topsfield for many years. She was also associated with the American Insurance Company in Wakefield, a member of the New Age Investment Club, and Boxford COA. Married to Charles for 45 years, she has lived in Middleton, Topsfield, then Boxford, where she has since resided and called home.
A loving wife, mother, sister, and friend, Jessica was an avid gardener and reader. She enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling. Her pride for Boston sports teams ran deep as well as her love for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who have known her.
In addition to her loving husband Charles, Jessica is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Albert Popoloski of Bradford, her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Doreen Mathison of Strafford, NH, her step-son and daughter-in-law Chuck and Patti Mathison of Groveland, MA, five loving grandchildren: Max, William, Abigail, Sophie, and Jack, her three sisters, Penny Deyoe of Brockton, MA, Janice Thomas of Midland, MD, and Phyllis Carpenter of Salt Lake City, UT, plus her brother Sheldon Carpenter of Modesto, CA, and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held in the Congregational Church of Topsfield on Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 11AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 4-7PM at C.R. MORIN, ROLAND -- Roland E. Morin, 64, died early Saturday morning, August 2, 2008 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Barbara (Begin) Morin, with whom he shared thirty-one years of marriage.
Born in Salem on June 13, 1944, he was the son of Theresa (Talbot) Morin and the late E. Joseph "Red" Morin. He was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School. He was a Danvers resident for nearly forty-five years.
For over thirty years, Roli owned and operated Roland E. Morin & Sons Plumbing and Heating in Danvers.
Roli was a member of the Danvers Rotary Club. An avid gardener, his true love was spending time with his devoted family.
In addition to his wife and mother, he leaves three daughters: Paula McHale and her husband Mark of Danvers, C. Diane (Ash) Van Know and her husband Jeffrey of Danvers, and Susan (Ash) Ayles and her husband Christopher of Danvers; five sons: Douglas Morin and his wife Kimber of Middleton, Duane Morin of Danvers, Matthew Morin and his wife Lisa of Nashua, NH, Richard Ash of Danvers, and David Ash and his wife Karen of Danvers; 12 grandchildren: Ashley, Jeffrey, Jason, Austin, Brody, Megan, Christina, Sean, Kaylee, Victoria, Ryan, and Maxwell; and a brother, Richard Morin and his wife Judy of FL.
His funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at 10AM in the Maple Street Congregational Church, 90 Maple St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. SAULNIER, JOHN -- John E. "Moose" Saulnier, 68, died Tuesday, July 30, 2008 at Beverly Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Elaine (Hentschel) Saulnier, with whom he shared 35 years of marriage.
Born in Ipswich on March 5, 1940, he was the son of the late John Saulnier Sr. and the late Anna (Baker) (Saulnier) Jones. He was raised and educated in Essex and was a graduate of Gloucester High School. He had been a Beverly resident for many years.
John was employed as a lead man in mechanical fabrication at Gloucester Engineering. He had also worked as a chef at the former Misty Acres and also at Woodman's Catering in Essex. For 16 years, he served on the Essex Fire Dept. and was a US Marine Corps Reservist.
A loving father and grandfather, in addition to his wife John leaves two children: Lisa Wilczek and her husband Eric of Beverly and Michael and Kathy Russo of Boxford; 2 grandchildren: Amanda Russo and Daniel Wilczek, a sister, Sharon Equi and her husband Tom, four brothers, Richard and his wife Donna, Charles and his wife Ginny, Frank Jones, and Junior Jones.
Visiting hours are Sunday from 4-7PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Relatives and friends are invited. Funeral Services and burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in John's name may be made to the NSMC Cancer Center, 17 Centennial Dr., Peabody, MA 01960.

WALKER, PEGGY -- Peggy Ann Walker, 56, died early Tuesday morning surrounded by her family following a lengthy illness. She was the loving companion and fiancé of Jeffrey Christopher (Russ Turner).
Born in Newburyport, she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret Walker. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Danvers High School, Class of 1972.
Peggy was employed by Hotwatt of Danvers for over thirty-five years and attended Maple Street Congregational Church.
In addition to her fiancé, she is survived by a sister, Jean Emerson of Methuen, a brother, Anthony Walker of Haverhill, her mother and father-in-law, Jane and Art Piotrowski, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Linda Rentas.
Her Funeral Service will be Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008 at 3PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directions, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will precede the service from 2-3PM. Donations in Peggy's name may be made to Hospice of the North Shore, 10 Elm St., Danvers, MA 01923.

CREEDEN, RICHARD C. -- Richard C. Creeden, 88, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, July 28, 2008. He was the loving husband of Marion (Kennedy) Creeden, with whom he shared sixty-five years of marriage.
Born in Danvers on Feb. 7, 1920, Dick was the son of the late John and Mary (Crosby) Creeden. He was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Holten High School, Class of 1938.
Dick was an honorably discharged veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps.
Until the time of his retirement, he worked as a salesman for various companies.
Dick's great love was music. He was a well-known and accomplished musician. His jazz band, Richard's Barn, played at the Village Green for many years. He also played regularly at the Sportsman's Lodge on Plum Island, The Press Room in Portmouth, and Romie's in Danvers.
He is survived by two children and their spouses: Susan and Paul Connolly of Norwood and John and Sally Creeden of Merrimac; 2 grandchildren: Allison Martellini and her husband Cliff and Colin Creeden and his fiancé Destiny Vaughn, all of Merrimac; 2 great-grandchildren: Madison and Rocco Martellini; and many nieces and nephews. The youngest of ten children, he was predeceased by his brothers and sisters: Ann Goday, Margaret Peterson, Eileen McLaughlin, David, Donald, Cornelius, Orin, and Charles Creeden.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Aug. 1, 2008 at 11AM in Saint Richard Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery. Visiting Hours are Thursday from 4-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers, MA 01923. Donations in Dick's name may be made to the Danvers People-to-People Food Pantry, P.O. Box 2076, Danvers, MA 01923.
