Helen E. ((Ruddy) Baribeault
October 26, 1915 - April 28, 2007

WESTBOROUGH / SHREWSBURY - Helen E. (Ruddy) Baribeault of Westborough formerly of Shrewsbury, died Saturday, April 28th in Beaumont Nursing Home in Westborough.

She was born in Millbury, Ma, daughter of the late Henry P. and Eva J. (Bray) Ruddy. Her husband, Paul J. Baribeault died in 1992. She is survived by a sister, Barbara A. Moss of Shrewsbury and nieces and nephews. A brother, Raymond Ruddy and two sisters, Margaret Finney and R. Joan Sarty predeceased her.

Helen was retired from John Hancock Life Insurance Company as an Assistant Office Manager after 39 years of service.

At Helen's request, there will be no calling hours or funeral services. Following cremation, burial will be private in St. Brigid's cemetery in Millbury. Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury is assisting Helen's family with arrangements.

MILDRED (SENECAL) BARRY
January 19, 1908 - March 17, 2007

SHREWSBURY - Mildred (Senecal) Barry, 99, of Shrewsbury died Saturday, March 17th in Saint Francis Home after a short illness.

Her husband Cornelius Barry died in 1984. Mildred leaves many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her three brothers, Alfred, Isidore and Emil; and four sisters, Irene, Catherine, Ruth and Cecelia.

Mrs. Barry was born in Lynn, MA daughter of the late Napoleon and Marie E. (Thompson) Senecal and had lived in Shrewsbury for over 50 years before she moved to Worcester in 2004. She graduated from Grafton High School.

Mildred had worked as a secretary for several transportation companies in the Worcester County area until she retired. She was a member of Saint Mary's Parish.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Mildred's family on Wednesday, March 21st from 9:00-9:30 AM in the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, at 10:00 A.M. in Saint Mary's Church, 640 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury.

Walter W. Barry, Jr.
September 26, 2007

AUBURN, MA - Walter W. Barry, Jr. of 9 Winchester St. died Wednesday in Holy Trinity Nursing Home after an illness.
He is survived by his wife, Claire (Palmer) Barry, three sons; Kevin M. Barry, of Worcester, Jack M. Barry, of Auburn and Stephen A. Barry, of Auburn, three loving grandchildren; Eric, Lauren, and Adam Barry, all of Auburn. Other members of his family include two sisters; Caryl Dorman, of Centerville, and Helen Haughey, of Framingham.
He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Walter and Helen (McGee) Barry; he was educated in Worcester schools. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade school.
He proudly served his country in the Korean War as a member of the United States Army.
Mr. Barry worked as a salesman for the former New England Telephone Co. in Worcester for 38 years prior to his retirement.
He is a long time member of St. Joseph's Church, the Chester P. Tuttle Post American Legion, and the Knights of Columbus. He was a past-president of the Auburn Little League Association.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday from 4-7 PM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St. Auburn. His funeral will be held Monday from the funeral home with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 189 N. Oxford St. Auburn. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.

Joseph P. "Joe" Beaney
August 20, 1925 - October 9, 2007

SHREWSBURY - Joseph P. "Joe" Beaney, of Westbrook Crossing, Shrewsbury died Tuesday, October 9th in his home after a brief illness.

Mr. Beaney is survived by his wife of 58 years, Virginia (Morris) Beaney; his three sons, Kevin J. of Chicago, IL, Richard M. of Salt Lake City UT, and Gerald A. and his wife Gina (Scimone) and their son, Travis C. Beaney all of Westborough, MA; two sisters, Margaret Byrne and her husband Joseph, and their family and Magdalen Beaney all of Bronxville, NY.

He was born in the Bronx, New York on August 20, 1925, to John J. and Magdalen (Wehner) Beaney . He graduated from New York's Cardinal Hayes High School and earned an Electrical Engineering degree from Manhattan College.

In 1966, he moved his family to Peekskill, New York and was a volunteer with the Peekskill Fire Department and a member of the local B.P.O.E. chapter. Joseph was employed in New York City for much of his career as an electrical construction estimator. He then moved to Massachusetts in 1980, and continued working, specializing in transit systems construction, with the Massachusetts Electric Construction Company in Brighton until he retired. After retirement he and his wife moved to Shrewsbury in 1994.

Throughout Joe's life he regularly involved himself in church and civic activities. Most recently, he volunteered as a math tutor in Worcester for students seeking to earn their GED diploma. He also was a member and former lector at St. Anne's Parish in Shrewsbury.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Joe's family on Thursday, October 11th from 4-7 P.M. in the Britton Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury. His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 12th at 11 A.M. in Saint Anne's Church, 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to International Essential Tremor Foundation, P.O. Box 14005, Lenexa, KS 66285.

David J. Beauregard
February 20, 1967 - July 6, 2006

AUBURN, MA - David J. Beauregard, 39, of Ward St. died Thursday, July 6th in his home after a short illness.

He leaves his loving wife, Lynn M. (Morrissey); his beloved three children, Meg Elizabeth, Grace Kathryn, and Jack Francis all at home; his mother, Marjorie Ann (Cavanaugh) Beauregard of Auburn; his four brothers, Francis of Holden, Frederick and his wife, Maureen of Northbridge, Stephen and his wife, Dorothy of Litchfield, NH, and Edward and his wife, Marie of Paxton; his sister, Mary Scully and her husband, Patrick of Auburn; his father and mother-in-law, Thomas F. and Mary Jane Morrissey of Auburn; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews as well as many friends who will all miss him greatly.

He was born in Worcester, son of the late Francis William Beauregard and was raised and lived in Auburn all of his life. He graduated from Auburn High School, Class of 1985 and Worcester State College, where he earned as BS in Business Administration in 1990. While at Auburn High School, David was the captain of the hockey and soccer teams. He was named a Telegram & Gazette Soccer All-Star during his junior and senior years. He was inducted in the Auburn High School Hall of Fame in March of 2006. David also was a member of the Worcester State College soccer team.

David work for 17 years a as sales manager and associate for the Kellogg Companies.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St., Auburn on Sunday, July 9th from 4-7 PM. His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 10th at 10 AM in North American Martyrs' Church, 8 Wyoma Dr., Auburn, with burial to follow in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn.

In lieu flowers, memorial remembrances may be sent to the Beauregard Family Fund, c/o Millbury Credit Union, 56 Auburn St., Auburn, MA 01501.

Edmund O. Miner

NEW LONDON, Conn. - Edmund O. Miner, 81, of 6 Redden Ave., died Tuesday (3-25-2003) at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He was the father of Bruce Miner of Millers Falls, Mass.

He was born in Essex, June 21, 1921, in the son of Orrin W. and Ethel (French) Miner.

Miner worked as a carpenter at the former Burr Caminati in Old Saybrook.

Services and burial in Duck River Cemetery, Old Lyme, will be private.

Byles Memorial Home, 99 Huntingon St., is in charge of arrangements.

In information received by The Recorder, Miners first name was incorrect in Thursdays obituary.

Robert E. Kells Jr.

MONTAGUE CITY - Robert E. Kells Jr., 86, of 373 Montague City Road, died Tuesday (7-9-2002) at home.

He was the widower of the late Norma I. Niemoth Kells who died in 1983, after 40 years of marriage.

Survivors include two daughters, Norma L. Waseleski of Melbourne, Fla. and Margaret M. Peg Burns of Montague and a son, Robert E. III of Amherst.

Marjorie M. (Cook) Belair
September 23, 1918 - April 9, 2007

Leicester - Marjorie M. (Cook) Belair, 88, died Monday in the Meadows of Leicester after an illness.
Her Husband Raymond A. Belair and her son Raymond C. Belair predeceased her.
She is survived by her children; William Belair, and his wife Susan, of Spencer, Paul Belair, of Auburn, and Charleen Joubert and her husband John, of Worcester, 12 loving grandchildren, and 9 loving great grandchildren. She leaves a sister Edith Gobeille, of Spencer, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late William and Annie (Hanks) Cook, and she was raised and educated in Auburn. She lived for over 60 years in Worcester.
Mrs. Belair was a homemaker who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed ceramics.
She was a long-time member of All Saints Church in Worcester, and aformer member of the 39ers Club at Coes Pond.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours from 5-8 PM Tuesday at The Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church, 10 Irving Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.

LAWRENCE STEPHEN "LARRY" BELINSKY
March 20, 1953 - October 1, 2006

SHREWSBURY - Lawrence S. "Larry" Belinsky, 53, of Shrewsbury died Sunday, October 1st after being stricken ill at home.

He leaves his wife of 16 years, Nancy E. (Slane) Belinsky of Shrewsbury; a son, Samuel Belinsky of Shrewsbury; a sister, Wilma S. Gooby and her husband, Mark J. Gooby of Ipswich; also survived by three nephews, Trevor, Seth, Cale and a great nephew, Devin Edward.

Mr. Belinsky was born in Everett, son of the late Samuel and Jennie (Gass) Belinsky and had lived in Everett for several years before moving to Shrewsbury.

He had been employed as a Computer Technician for Staples Inc. in Marlboro for the past 7 years. He previously had worked for 15 years for Marshall's.

Larry was a loving husband, father, brother and friend and will be missed by all who knew him. Larry enjoyed bowling with his son, Sam so much that the two of them joined an Adult and Youth Bowling Team a few years ago.

Earl M. Belles
July 21, 1924 - December 23, 2005

AUBURN, MA - Earl M. Belles, 81, of Auburn, died Friday, December 23rd in his home surrounded by his family.

He leaves his wife of 55 years, Rose A. (Boutillette) Belles; a son, Donald M. Belles, D.D.S. and his wife, Ivy, of Pearland, Texas; two daughters, Susan C. McCabe and her husband, James of Auburn and Linda A. Schoonmaker and her husband, Robert of Dudley; also survived by a brother, Bernard Belles of Baltimore, Maryland; and 3 granddaughters. He was predeceased by a brother, Paul Belles.

Mr. Belles was born in Worcester, son of the late Oscar M. and Pauline T. (Martel) Belles and had lived in Auburn for the past 55 years. He graduated from W. Boylston High School and received his B.A. Degree from Clark University. Earl was a W.W. II U.S. Army veteran having served with the 1st Battalion 407th Infantry Regiment and had received a Bronze Star for his valiant efforts for his country.

Earl had been employed for many years as an Administrative Law Judge for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Employment Security in Boston and Worcester before he retired.

He was a member of Saint Joseph's Church in Auburn; a lifetime member of the Chester P. Tuttle American Legion Post # 279 in Auburn; a member of the Greendale Retired Men's Club; a member of the T.S.K.K. Club in Webster and a former member of the Auburn Knights of Columbus.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, December 26th from 5-8 P.M. in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. His funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 27th at 9:30 A.M. in Saint Joseph's Church, 189 Oxford Street, Auburn. Burial with military honors will be held in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Memorial contributions in his memory can be made to Auburn District Nursing Association, 191 Pakachoag Street, Auburn, MA 01501 or to the UMASS Memorial Hospice Foundation, P.O. Elvira L. "Vera" (Polini) Benecchi
February 1, 1913 - March 6, 2007

AUBURN, MA - Elvira L. "Vera" (Polini) Benecchi, 94, of Meadowbrook Rd, died Tuesday, March 6th in Millbury Healthcare Center, Millbury, where she had resided for the past 10 years.

She was the wife of the late Edward Benecchi, who died in 1968.

She leaves her son, Edward Benecchi, Jr. and his wife Mary of Auburn and her daughter, Edwina Lundquist of Auburn; three grandsons, Christopher Benecchi and his wife Megan, Michael Benecchi, and Edward Benecchi, III and his wife Kerry; a great grandson, Andrew Benecchi, and a great granddaughter, Elizabeth Benecchi, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothres Henry, William and Carl Polini, and her sister Margaret Palliola.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine (Casali) Polini and lived there for most of her life. She spent 25 years in Auburn prior to moving to Millbury. She graduated from Commerce High School.

Mrs. Benecchi worked for many years as the office manager and bookkeeper for her family's business, Polini's Bakery in Worcester until retiring in 1972.

She was a member of North American Martyrs Parish, Auburn, and a former member of the Worcester Business and Professional Women's Club. She was also a former member of the Canterbury Street Mother's Club.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, March 9th from 5-8 PM in Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St., Auburn. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, March 10th from the funeral home with a Mass celebrated at 10 AM in North American Martyrs' Church, 8 Wyoma Dr., Auburn. Burial will follow in Saint John's Cemetery, Worcester.

Constance A. Bernard
April 14, 1921 - July 9, 2006

SHREWSBURY - Constance A. Bernard, 85, of Shrewsbury, died Sunday evening, July 9th, in UMass Memorial Medical Center- Memorial Campus after an illness.

Constance is survived by two sisters, Joan C. Maxim, of Montpelier, Vermont and Florence E. Sairs of Shrewsbury; 1 niece and several nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Chester I. Bernard, Jr., and two sisters, Mary Jane Swanberg and Eleanor C. McGrath.

She was born in Springfield, daughter of the late Chester I. Sr., and Florence C. (Desourdis) Bernard and had lived in Shrewsbury most of her life. She attended Shrewsbury Public Schools.

Constance had a very deep appreciation for the Arts and was a member of the Worcester Art Museum. She enjoyed spending time with her niece and nephews.

Funeral services for Constance will be held on Thursday, July 13th at 10 A.M. in Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury, Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions in her memory can be made to the Shrewsbury Public Library, 609 Main Street, Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
