PAUL R. BERRYMAN, JR.
February 8, 1958 - April 15, 2007

WORCESTER - Paul R. Berryman, Jr. of 199 Belmont Street, a former Truck Driver, died Thursday in his home after an illness.
He is survived by his father, Paul R. Berryman Sr, of Auburn, and his mother Dorothy Cloutier, and a sister Karen L. Bradshaw, all of Worcester. He also leaves a daughter Christine Benoit, Worcester, and 2 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held privately. There are no calling hours.
The Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn is assisting the family.

James M. "Jim" Bianchi
December 14, 1954 - April 15, 2006

North Conway, NH - Jim Bianchi passed away peacefully in Portsmouth Regional Hospital, Portsmouth, NH. Son of George and Helen (Daley) Bianchi, he is survived by his sister Mary and her husband Don of Missouri; his two brothers, George and his wife Gail of Falmouth, MA; Jack and his wife Kim of Falmouth, MA. He also leaves his nephew Michael of San Jose; and nieces, Becky and Cathy both of Denver, Colorado; Amy of Mashpee, MA; Jessica of Florida and of course his trusted Corgi, Gizmo. Jim was predeceased by his sister Nancy. He will be missed by many, many friends throughout the country. Jim should be best remembered for his zest for life. An avid sportsman Jim was equally proficient at each of his passions. He golfed at some of the country's most prestigious courses and was a member at North Conway C.C. and the Ledges G.C. He alpine skied in sponsored race challenges, he sailed from the northeast through the Caribbean, he billfished while boating and bred Morgan show horses. Jim traveled extensively and could easily engage each of those he encountered. Always a storyteller, the difference being he in fact experienced all of his. Jim was an owner and partner of Bianchi Tile and Marble Company in Shrewsbury and Falmouth. The company experienced tremendous growth doing commercial work for the areas largest employers. Most recently Jim owned Hi Tech construction designing and building various properties in his beloved Mount Washington Valley, North Conway, NH. Though very accomplished in so many facets of his life the true character of the man was his unyielding and unrelenting support for his friends and their families. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jim's name can be made to the Center of Hope, an organization he supported annually. Center of Hope, 626 Eastman Road, Center Conway, NH 03813-4219. Jim's family invites you to join them for memorial visitation on Thursday, April 20 from 5-7 p.m. in the Britton Funeral Home, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury, MA. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 21 at 12 noon in the Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury, MA.

First Lt. John J. Biram, USAF
December 25, 1979 - September 23, 2006

WEBSTER - First Lieutenant John J. Biram, USAF, 26, of 41 Upper Gore Rd. and formerly of Auburn, passed into the hands of our Lord on Sat., September 23rd, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident he suffered while stationed in England.

He leaves his loving parents, Maureen (Biram) Rohacik and her husband Frank Rohacik of Webster, his brother, Zachary Drake Rohacik of Worcester; his three sisters, Tiffany Biram McDonald of Leicester, Amy Rohacik of Barre, MA, and Susan Rohacik of Eugene, OR. He also leaves several aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as a special nephew, Tyler Thomas Kuhn of Leicester.

John was born in Worcester and attended elementary schools there. He moved to Auburn in 1989 and graduated from Auburn High School, Class of 1997. John was an excellent student and outstanding athlete and member of the football team, winning several awards. He then attended Quinsigamond College and transferred to Worcester State College, where he played varsity football and was a member of the National Honor Society. He graduated in 2001 with a degree in Psychology. Following several months of working in construction, John applied for and was accepted into the US Air Force Officer Training School, and graduated in 2003. While there, he was awarded the 400 Club Award for superior achievement. He was assigned to the 712th Munitions Squadron in Italy. He was a Munitions Systems Commander, where he was responsible for the care and distribution of over 17, 000 tons of munitions. He then was stationed in Korea for 13 months, and had recently begun serving a two year tour in England.

John was a caring man, committed to God, who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, October 3rd from 5-8 PM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St., Auburn. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 4th at 10 AM in St. Joseph's Church, (Rev. Hector Quinones presiding) 189 Oxford Street, Auburn. Burial with military honors will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in John's name may be made to Mercy Corps, Dept. W, P.O. Box 2669, Portland, OR 97208, or to the orphanage in Korea where John was a volunteer:

MADELYN F. O'BRIEN
August 16, 1922 - May 20, 2007

SHREWSBURY - Madelyn F. (Murphy) O' Brien, 84, of Shrewsbury, died Sunday, May 20th in UMass Memorial Medical Center- Memorial Campus after an illness.

Her husband, Donald J. O'Brien died in 1989. She leaves a daughter, Patricia M. O'Brien of Shrewsbury; 3 grandchildren, Ryan Gray and his companion, Krysta Agnew; Shannen Gray and Michael Gray; 1 great grandson, Landan Gray; a niece and a nephew; also survived by her caretaker and friend, Todd Sears. She was predeceased by a son, Frederick "Rick" O'Brien, a daughter, Gail O'Brien and her sister, Winifred O'Reagan.

Madelyn was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Frederick J. and Gertrude (Redford) Murphy and had lived in Shrewsbury most of her life. She graduated from Commerce High School and Salter Secretarial School both in Worcester.

She had been employed for the Town of Shrewsbury for 22 years. Madelyn climbed her way up the ladder at town hall, working as the secretary for four Superintendents before she retired in 1988.

Mrs. O'Brien was a member of Saint Mary's Parish in Shrewsbury. She also enjoyed being with her grandchildren and spending time on Cape Cod.

Madelyn's funeral will be held on Thursday, May 24th at 10 AM in Saint Mary's Church, 640 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 36 Cameron Avenue, Cambridge, MA 2140 or the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.

KATHLEEN M. "KATHY" (HURLEY) BISHOP
July 16, 1950 - September 26, 2006

SHREWSBURY - Kathleen M. "Kathy" (Hurley) Bishop, 56, of 111 Holden Street died Tuesday, September 26th after being stricken ill at home.

She is predeceased by her only daughter, Shannon Marie Bishop who died in 1992.

Mrs. Bishop leaves her husband of 35 years, Ernest T. Bishop; a son, Ernest T. "Ernie" Bishop II, and his fiance Stephanie M. Killmeier both of Shrewsbury; her mother, Gladys (Bourbeau) Clapp and her husband, John of Worcester two sisters, Eileen M. Zelenak of Millbury and Elaine A. Triola of Worcester.

Kathy was born in Worcester, and had lived in Shrewsbury for many years. She was educated in the Worcester School System and then had received her teaching certificate. Kathy had such a passion, and love for children and taking care of people that she became a Teachers Assistant at Paton School in Shrewsbury.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Kathy's family on Friday, September 29th from 6-9 P.M. in the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 30th at 10 A.M. in Saint Mary's Church, 640 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury. Memorial contributions can be made to Make a Wish Foundation of Massachusetts, 1 Bulfinch Place, 2nd Floor, Boston, MA 02114.

WILLIAM E. BJORK
December 27, 1955 - July 6, 2007

Auburn - William E. Bjork, 51, of 1 Barbara Ave, a longtime Union Carpenter, died Friday in his home after an illness.
He is survived by his Wife of 31 years, Susan (Fornari) Bjork, his 2 sons; Matthew Bjork and his wife Kristin, of Rockland, ME, Carl "Michael" Bjork, of Auburn, his brothers; Carl O. "Nick" Bjork, of Worcester, and Robert E. Bjork, of Charlton, his sisters Judith L. Bjork, of Auburn, and Jean Koleshis, of Ware. Other members of his family include several nieces and nephews.
William was eagerly anticipating the arrival of his first granddaughter, Savannah Bjork, who is due in August.
He was born in Worcester the son of the late Carl O. and Mildred J. (Knowlton) Bjork, he was educated in Auburn schools and is a graduate of Bay Path Regional High School. He is a lifelong Auburn resident.
William worked for many years as a member of the local 107 carpenters union.
He loved to hunt and fish; he was an avid member of the Auburn Sportsman's Club, where he served on its Board of Directors, and its Trout and special events committees.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours from 6-8 PM Monday in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. His funeral will be held Tuesday July 10, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the First Congregational Church of Auburn. Burial in Hillside cemetery will take place at a time convenient to the family. Leslie E. Bjorklund
June 11, 1927 - August 13, 2006

AUBURN, MA - Leslie E. Bjorklund, 79, of Stoneville Heights, formerly of Springbrook Road, died Sunday, August 13th in Saint Vincent Hospital after an illness.

He leaves his wife of 55 years, Betty C. (Ohrn) Bjorklund; a son, Kenneth R. and his wife, Christine M. Bjorklund of Oxford; a daughter, Sandra A. and her husband, Gregory M. Avakian of Dudley; a brother, Ronald and his wife, Sandra Bjorklund of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; also survived by six grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason, Ben, Kenneth, Nicole, and Bryan; one great granddaughter, Emma Bell; and 2 nephews, Alan and Erik.

Leslie was born in Worcester, son of the late Elis and Alice (Rudman) Bjorklund and had lived in Auburn for 48 years. He graduated from South High School in Worcester. He later continued his education by receiving his B.S. Degree from Springfield College and Masters of Education from Worcester State College.

He was a patriotic man and veteran, who served his country proudly with the United States Marine Corp during World War II.

Mr. Bjorklund was a Physical Education Teacher for the Worcester Public Schools for over 30 years, having taught at both Chandler Junior High and North High School before he retired in 1992. He loved and cherished the time that he spent with his children and grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Leslie's family on Tuesday, August 15th from 5-7 P.M. in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. His funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 16th at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convience of the family. Memorial donations can be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.

JOHN BLACK
April 17, 1903 - March 3, 2006

AUBURN, MA - John "Jack" Black 102, formerly of 2 Paul Street Auburn, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, March 3, 2006 at the Lutheran Home in Worcester. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland on April 17, 1903 son of the late John and Agnes (Whyte) Black. He came to the United States in 1920 but never forgot his Scottish roots.
He leaves a son Jim and his wife Penny of Northborough and a daughter Janet and her husband Richard Langevin of Auburn. He also leaves his 5 beloved grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. His wife Arriadna predeceased him in 1979.
John was a cost estimator for Morgan Construction Company for the bulk of his working life retiring in 1970.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour on Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 AM with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn.
Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.

Malcomb Blanthin
January 25, 1943 - August 11, 2006

SHREWSBURY - Malcolmb Blanthin, 63, of 311 Main Street, Shrewsbury, died Friday, August 11th in his home at Shrewsbury Crossing after being stricken ill. He is survived by three cousins, Ann Hayward of Houston, TX; Marjene MacIntyre of Bandon, OR; and Barbara Peterson of Granite Bay, CA. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Blanthin. Malcomb was born in Hartford, CT, son of Victor and Dorothy (Rowley) Blanthin and raised in Simsbury and Glastonbury, CT. He moved to Shrewsbury in the fall of 2002. He had worked as an accounting clerk for the Getty and Texaco Oil Companies.

Florence D. "Dottie" (Shutts) Blondin
April 23, 1931 - June 15, 2006

WORCESTER - Florence Dorothy "Dottie" (Shutts) Blondin, 75, of Marble St. and formerly of Millbury, died Thursday, June 15th in the UMass Memorial Medical Center, Worcester.

Her husband of 51 years, A. Roland Blondin died in 2003.

She leaves her four children, Brian J. Blondin and his wife Anita of East Hampton, CT, Jeffrey S. Blondin and his wife Carolyn of Monroe, NC, Cheryl D. Connor and her fiance William Bryce of Worcester, and Deborah L, wife of John "Jack" Foley of Sturbridge; her brother, Duncan Shutts of Florida; her sister, Geraldine G. McHugh of New Jersey; her grandchildren, Brendon Connor and his wife Kimberly, Katelyn Connor, Chelsea Foley and her fiance Matthew Dunbar, Cara and Sage Foley, Corey, Zachary, Hannah, Lauren, and Cameron Blondin and Matthew Moore. She was predeceased by her brother, John Shutts.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late John N. and Julia (Grinkowit) Shutts and graduated from David Hale Fanning Girls Trade School. She lived many years in Millbury and then Florida, before returning to Worcester.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, June 19th from 5-8 PM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St., Auburn. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 20th at 10 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 189 Oxford St., Auburn. Following cremation, committal services in Notre Dame cemetery will be private.

Brenda R. (Macaulay) Bostwick
August 14, 1920 - September 4, 2006

AUBURN, MA - Brenda Roberta (Macaulay) Bostwick, 86, of Old Common Road Auburn, died Monday in Saint Vincent's Hospital, after an illness.
She is the wife of the late Homer R. Bostwick.
She is survived by her children Susan D. Page and her husband Wayne C. Page, of Auburn; Linda Lee Niquette, and her husband Wayne, of West Virginia, 4 grandchildren, Heather, Ellen and Sarah Page, all of Auburn, and Charles Niquette, of West Virginia. Other members of her family include; a brother Jon Macaulay, of England, 2 sisters; Barbara Gabriel, of CA. Judith England, of England.
A son Bruce C. Bostwick died in 1952
She was born in England, the daughter of the late Fredrick and Anne (McPhee) Macaulay, she moved to the United States after WWII
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star # 224, and the Daughters of Scotia.
Her funeral and burial will be private.

Evelyn "Julie" (Finacom) Bouley
April 1, 1919 - August 4, 2007

WORCESTER - Evelyn Jewell "Julie" (Finacom) Bouley, 88, of 30 Chestnut Hill Rd., N. Oxford, and 16 Sunset Rd., York Beach, Maine died Saturday surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness.

Her husband of many years, Mr. T. Raymond Bouley, predeceased her in 1989.

Julie is survived by her daughter Linda Jewell Seega, and her husband Robert, of Dudley, and 3 loving grandchildren: Tawrin G. Seega, of W. Springfield, Jared R. Seega, of Charleston, SC. and Courtney R. Seega, of Norwich, CT. She also leaves a sister, Rosemary Bouley of Denver, CO., as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Bouley was predeceased by her brother Edward G. Finacom Jr., and a sister Shirley Van Batenburg.

She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Edward G. and Mary Frances (Skinner) Finacom; she was educated in Worcester schools, and is a graduate of the former High School of Commerce. She attended the University of New Hampshire.

Mrs. Bouley worked as the Assistant Manager of the Central One Federal Credit Union, formerly known as the Worcester Central Federal Credit Union, retiring in 1983 after 28 years of service.

She was a lifelong member of the Clara Barton Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial Service at 11:00 AM on Thursday August 9, in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. Burial will follow in Notre-Dame Cemetery.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in memory of Julie Bouley to the YMCA of Central Mass., 766 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01610.

Carol A. (Marr) Boyle
September 1, 1940 - November 16, 2005

Rutland - Carol A. (Marr) Boyle, 65, of 359 East County Rd., died Wednesday, November 16th at home, after an illness.

She leaves her husband of 42 years, Francis T. Boyle; her three children; Karen, wife of Michael Ackerman of Millbury, Kelly A. Boyle of Rutland, and Kerri, wife of Mickey Felton of Sterling; a sister, Ellen Collins of Shrewsbury; her two grandsons, Zachary and Joshua Felton and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, James Marr and her sister, Sandra DiGiorno.

She was born and raised in Worcester, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Wilson) Marr lived in Worcester for many years, moving to Rutland last year.

Prior to her illness, Carol worked as a Case Care Coordinator for UMass Memorial Healthcare at the Memorial Campus, Worcester. Previously, she worked for many years in Memorial's NICU.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St., Auburn on Friday, Nov. 18th from 4-7 PM. Her funeral will be celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 19th with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 189 Oxford Street North Auburn. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
