Roy V. Kenary
October 16, 1929 - June 11, 2006

SHREWSBURY - Roy V. Kenary, 76, of Shrewsbury, died Sunday, June 11th in Saint Vincent Hospital after an illness.

He leaves his wife of 55 years, Dorothy F. (Senecal) Kenary; two daughters, Ann M. Kenary and her companion, James Dunn of Oxford and Arlene T. Strand and her husband, Peter of Spencer; also survived by 5 grandchildren, Matthew, Heidi, Michelle, Marie, and Lisa and 2 great grandchildren, Katherine and Thomas. A son, Thomas A. Kenary died 1976. He was predeceased by three brothers William, Arthur, Edward, and a sister, Helen Haynes.

Roy was born in Worcester, son of the late Joseph A. and Ella T. (Donahue) Kenary and had lived in Shrewsbury for the past 53 years. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.

Mr. Kenary had worked as a Sales Representative for Ryder/P.I.E. Nationwide in Boston and Worcester for 22 years before he retired.

He was a member of Saint Mary's Parish and the Shrewsbury Friends Club both in Shrewsbury. Roy was an active member of the South Shore Transportation Club and the Boston Traffic Association. He was a former member of the Adelphi Council # 4181 Knights of Columbus in Shrewsbury.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Roy's family on Tuesday, June 13th from 5-8 P.M. in the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury. His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 14th at 10 A.M. in Saint Mary's Church, 640 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Burial with military honors will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury. Memorial contributions in his memory can be made to Calvary Retreat Center, 59 South Street, Shrewsbury, MA 01545.

John J. Kenefick
May 9, 1928 - April 9, 2007

Webster - John J. Kenefick, 78, of Killdeer Island Road and formerly of Shrewsbury, passed away Monday, April 9th at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home. His wife Rosanna died in 1986. He was born and raised in Boston, the son of the late Francis and Frances (Ryba) Kenefick. He leaves two sons, Kevin of Shrewsbury; Francis "Frank" of Worcester; and a daughter, Kim Butkevich of Mechanicsburg, PA. He leaves three granddaughters; Amanda, Sarah and Emily Kenefick and one grandson, Thomas Butkevich. John leaves a brother, Robert of Webster; two sisters, Dorothy Kershaw of Hingham, MA; and Elizabeth Nolan of Albuquerque, NM. John was predeceased by a brother Walter. He was a 20 year veteran of the USMC and USAF. He retired in 1968 and returned to Shrewsbury to raise his family. He then moved to Myrtle Beach, SC and later to Webster, MA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visiting hour with John's family on Saturday, April 14th from 9-10 AM in Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main St., Shrewsbury. A funeral service will then be held at 10 AM in the funeral home, followed by burial in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury

Donald E. Kennedy
October 28, 1934 - April 24, 2006

AUBURN, MA - Donald E. Kennedy, 71, of 1C John Williams Drive, died unexpectedly on Monday, while vacationing in Killarney, Ireland.
He is survived by his Wife Faith (Santamore) Kennedy, his children; Karen Richard, of Worcester, John E. Kennedy, of N. Las Vegas, Nevada, Matthew D. Kennedy of Auburn, and Maura E. Wild, of Dayton, OH as well as 5 grandchildren, and a close dear friend, Jay Martin Shanahan, of Worcester.
He is predeceased by a daughter Kathleen A. Kennedy.
He was born in Webster, son of the late Bernard and Clara, (Belanger) Kennedy. He was educated in Worcester Schools, graduating from Worcester Boys Trade.
Mr. Kennedy was a Production Controller, for the former Thermo Electron Co. in Auburn.
He proudly served his country as a member of the Massachusetts National Guard Yankee Division. He was a member of the Alhambra Council 88 Knights of Columbus, and the Greendale Men's Club.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours from 3-6 Sunday in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. His funeral will be held 10:00 AM Monday in the Funeral home. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park.

KIM KILLORAN
March 8, 1963 - June 21, 2007

WORCESTER - Kim A. (Aubrey) Killoran, 44, of Worcester passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday June 21, 2007
She leaves her husband, Patrick F. Killoran; her children; Matthew P. Killoran and his wife Beca (Farley) of Whitinsville, and Michael F. Killoran, of Worcester, her father Frederick J. Aubrey of Hobe Sound, FL, her mother-in-law Ann C. Killoran, of Sterling, her two sisters-in-law Mary E. Brabbs, and her husband Michael, of Sterling, and Theresa A. Finnegan, of Worcester, and her two brothers-in-law; Sean M. Killoran of Worcester, and Daniel J. Killoran, of Dennis, she also leaves aunts, uncles, cousins nieces and nephews.
Her beloved mother Carol (Goslow) Aubrey predeceased her in 2005
Kim was a graduate of Shrewsbury High School, and attended Bridgewater and Worcester State Colleges. She was a landscape designer employed by Shrewsbury Nursery for 12 years.
Kim lived a life full of love, kindness and service. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Kim was an avid Red Sox fan; she enjoyed reading, Sudoku puzzles, gardening, and traveling to Cape Cod. Her greatest joy in life were her children.

William J. Kimelaskas
April 28, 1938 - September 1, 2007

Leicester - William J. Kimelaskas, 69, of Leicester, died Saturday in St. Vincent's Hospital after an illness.
He is survived by his children; William J. Kimelaskas, and Jacinta (Kimelaskas) Kelleher, and a grandson Timothy M. Kelleher, Jr. all of Worcester, he leaves 2 brothers; Joseph Kimelaskas of Hudson, and Edward Kimelaskas, and a sister Mary Ghiz, both of Worcester, and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
He was born in Worcester the son of the late Ignace and Petrone (Prekopowich) Kimelaskas; he was educated in Worcester schools.
He worked as a housekeeping supervisor at the former Westborough State Hospital for many years. He had recently worked as a security guard for Lusignan Security at Abbott Laboratories in Worcester.
William was a member of the Auburn Elks Lodge. He was an avid Red Sox fan.
He enjoyed the challenge of the complex strategies of gaming systems.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour from 9:30 to 10:30 Thursday morning, in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St. Auburn. His funeral will be held Thursday with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Angels Church, 1220 Main Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.

Gerald M. King
June 10, 1934 - June 3, 2006

Auburn - Gerald M. King, 71, formerly of Lesley Avenue, died Saturday, June 3rd in the St. Mary's Healthcare Center, Worcester, after an illness.

His wife, Barbara H. (O'Mara) King died in 1989

He leaves his four daughters, Susan M. King of Norton, Diane K., wife of Brian Waters of Auburn, Judy M. King-Bonneau, and her companion David Carpentier of Auburn, and Stacey J., wife of Brian Maillet of Auburn; his six grandchildren, Casey and Woody Waters, Sarah Eiermann, Terence "T" Bonneau, and Thomas Maillet, as well as many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his sisters, Margaret O' Sullivan and Patricia Mero, and his brothers, Henry, James and Paul King.

He was born in Worcester, son of the late Harold and Agnes V. (Martin) King and lived in Auburn for many years. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School and attended Worcester State College.

He proudly served his country as a member of the US Navy.

Gerald retired sixteen years ago from the State Mutual Insurance Company, Worcester where he had worked as a systems analyst and programmer for many years. He was a member and usher at St. John's Parish in Worcester, and the Chester P. Tuttle American Legion Post, Auburn. He enjoyed running, gardening, playing golf nearly every day in Hardwick, and his beloved Red Sox.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, June 5th from 5-8 PM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St., Auburn. His funeral will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9 AM from the funeral home with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Johns' Church, 40 Temple St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn.

Beatrice M. (Myott) King
May 5, 1913 - October 18, 2007

AUBURN, MA - Beatrice M. (Myott) King, 94, of Auburn died Thursday, October 18th in Lanessa Extended Care Center in Webster after an illness.

Her husband, Charles M. King died in 1986. She is survived by two sons, Charles M. King of Worcester and Richard J. King of Pembroke, Georgia; and a daughter, Dorothy L. LaPlante of Augusta, Maine; also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Her sister, Abbie B. Corey predeceased her.

Mrs. King was born in Montgomery, Vermont daughter of the late Francis J. and Pearl H. (Donna) Myott and had lived in Auburn for over 60 years, before moving to Webster 2 years ago.

Beatrice had worked as a maid in the housekeeping department at Becker College for 14 years before she retired in 1977.

Funeral and burial services for Beatrice will be private. Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn is assisting the King family with arrangements.

William C. Kirby
April 15, 1962 - June 29, 2006

NOANK, CT - William C. "Wick" Kirby, 44, of Pearl St., died Friday, June 30th in the Lawrence & Memorial Hospitals, New London.

He is survived by his daughter, Julia Stein of Toledo, OH; his sisters, Maura, wife of Duncan Scott of Shrewsbury, MA, and Mary Claire Kirby-Slabbert, wife of Adriaan Slabbert of Noank, CT and South Africa; his brother, Joseph Kirby of Nantucket; his two nieces, Nancy Binette and Jennifer Bishop; his nephew Dylan Kirby; his great nieces, Avery Bishop, and his great nephews, Tyler and Kyle Binette.

He was born in Attleboro, and was the son of the late Paul F. and Mary C. (Cronin) Kirby and was raised in Shrewsbury. He graduated from St. Mary's School and St. John's High School, both in Shrewsbury. "Wick" worked as a dealer at the Foxwoods Casino, starting when the casino first opened. He was a self taught piano player and enjoyed writing. He traveled extensively, and especially enjoyed visiting South Africa and Nantucket.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, July 5th from 9:30 10:30 AM in the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main St., Shrewsbury, MA, followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11 AM in St. Mary's Church, 640 Main St., Shrewsbury, MA. Following cremation, burial in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Pl., Floor 6, Brookline, MA 02445-9924.

Francis M. "Frank" Kiritsy
April 25, 1929 - July 4, 2006

WORCESTER / AUBURN - Frank M. Kiritsy, Sr., 77, of Worcester, formerly of Auburn, died Tuesday, July 4th at the Jewish Healthcare Center in Worcester, MA. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island, so of the late George P. and Mary K. (Reynolds) Kiritsy.

His wife of 43 years, Patricia M. (Gecavich) Kiritsy died in 1999. He is survived by a son, Francis M. Kiritsy, Jr. and his wife, Donna of Auburn; a daughter, Susan A. Lynch, wife of Robert M. Lynch, DMD of Dennis; 4 grandchildren, Robert M. Lynch, Jr., and Tricia M. Lynch of Dennis and Michael P. Kiritsy and Alexandra M. Kiritsy of Auburn. He also leaves three brothers, George Kiritsy of Spencer, Theodore Kiritsy of Worcester, Hugh Kiritsy of Upton and a sister, Rosemary Kiritsy of Worcester; and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Paul Kiritsy predeceased him in 2001.

Mr. Kiritsy was a graduate of Commerce High School in Worcester and was a United States Army Veteran having served in the Korean War. He was employed at Astra Pharmaceutical in Worcester for 39 years before retiring in 1994. He was a member of Saint Joseph's Parish in Auburn for many years.

He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed gardening, and won numerous awards from the Worcester Horticultural Society. He also collected antique china. Frank was an avid Red Sox and New England Patriots fan and was a member of the Astra Pharmaceutical Bowling Team for many years.

Frank's favorite past times were playing the Massachusetts State Lottery and visiting Foxwoods Casino.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Frank's family on Thursday, July 6th from 5-8 P.M. in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 7th at 10 A.M. in Saint Joseph's Church, 189 Oxford Street North, Auburn. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Mausoleum, Worcester. Memorial donations in Frank's memory can be made to the Nazareth Home for Boy's c/o Monsignor Edmund Tinsley, Mulberry Street, Leicester, MA 01524.

LOUISE G. KIRWAN
August 7, 1923 - April 14, 2006

SHREWSBURY - Louise G. (O'Connor) Kirwan, 82, of 48 Monroe Street, Shrewsbury, passed into paradise on Monday, April 10th in Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester.

She leaves her husband of 57 years, John R. Kirwan, Sr.; two sons, John R. Kirwan Jr., of Elk Grove, California; Kevin D. Kirwan of Shrewsbury; two daughters, Jeanne L. Kirwan of Chula Vista, California and Janet K. Madison of Sterling; a sister, Margaret T. O'Connor of Centerville and 7 grandchildren, Lana, Jaci, John R. III, Kathleen, David, Christopher and James.

Mrs. Kirwan was born in Boston, and was raised in Watertown by her grandparents. She graduated from Watertown High School in 1941. She then meet and married the love of her life, John R. Kirwan, Sr. in 1948. Prior to her marriage and then before they started their family Louise had worked as a long line operator for AT&T; for several years.

She and her husband had moved their family to Monroe, Connecticut and had lived there for 18 years before moving back to Shrewsbury in 1977. While living in Monroe, she volunteered at the Bridgeport Hospital, she also volunteered as a driver for a child who was challenged. As a 45 year breast cancer survivor, Louise made sure she made time to drive other women cancer patients to their appointments. She also was a former member of Saint Jude's Parish in Monroe where she was at one time a CCD teacher and participated in many of their musicals.

When she moved to Shrewsbury in 1977, Louise became a member of Saint Mary's Parish and was one of the founding members of the R.C.I.A. ministry there. She also was a member of the Shrewsbury Welcome Wagon.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Louise's family on Saturday, April 15th from 2-5 P.M. in Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 17th at 10 A.M. in Saint Mary's Church, 640 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury. Memorial contributions in her memory can be made to Special Olympics Massachusetts, 14 South Street, Westborough, MA 01581.
