Trombley - Jason Michael of Orient Heights, East Boston, suddenly on Friday January 30th, 2004 at 30 years of age.

Devoted father of Alicia Zachary Gianna and Jason Jr.

Loving son of Juanita Trombley and Edward Alves of East Boston, and Ernest and Susan Trombley of Canton.

Dear brother of Denise Trombley.

Cherished uncle of Amanda DiLuigi. Also lovingly survived by many fond aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Service in the Chapel at the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Friday February 6th, 2004 at 9:00am officiated by Father Kennedy. Visiting hours are on Thursday February 5th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

Jason was born in Malden in 1973 and was a life-long resident of East Boston. He was self employed and operated a cell phone business.

The Memorial Home is handicapped accessible and a children’s lounge is available. Courtesy valet parking at the front entrance and ample off street parking is also available. For transportation to the memorial home please call 617-569-0990.

Services will conclude with Jason being laid to rest in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.

Lena J. Tuberosa (Cottone)

May 18, 1911 - June 11, 2003

Tuberosa - Lena J. (Cottone) of Orient Heights, East Boston on Wednesday June 11th, 2003.

Beloved wife of the late Michael Tuberosa, Lt. City of Boston Fire Department, Engine 56.

Devoted mother of Michele Ponti Misci and her husband Amedeo of East Boston and Moultonboro NH, and Joan Wagstaff and her husband David of Wellesley.

Loving sister of the late Joe Cottone, Augie Cottone and Netty Fasolo.

Cherished grandmother of Dina Iachini, David Wagstaff, Matthew Wagstaff, Christopher Misci and Craig Misci. Adored great grandmother of Warren Iachini, Helena, Reid and Elizabeth Wagstaff, and Anthony, Nicholas and Annamaria Misci.

Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Monday June 16th at 9:00am. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph - St. Lazarus Church, 59 Ashley Street, East Boston at 10:00am. Visiting hours are on Sunday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

Flowers will be appreciated, or memorial donations in Lena's memory may be made to the Stanley Tippett House, 920 South Street, Needham, MA 02492.

Lena was born in Franklin, New Jersey, in 1911. She was one of the first female bookkeepers for the Nabisco Company serving the President and CEO. Lena passed away after a brief illness aged 92 years.

William E. Vasco

June 4, 1939 - December 5, 2003

Vasco - William E. of East Boston, suddenly on Friday December 5th, 2003.

Devoted father of Andrea Van Veghten of East Bridgewater, and Lauren Gray of Abington.

Dear brother of Lillian Demopoulos of Wells, Maine, and Jo-Anne Vasco of East Boston.

Loving grandfather of Jordan, Jake and Tyler.

Cherished uncle of John Demopoulos, Robin Vasco-St.Pierre, and Kristina Dussault.

Dear friend of Patricia Strangie of Saugus, formerly of East Boston.

Funeral Service in the chapel at the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Wednesday December 10th at 10:00am. officiated by Father George Tsoukalas. Visiting hours are on Tuesday December 9th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

William was born in Boston in 1939 and was a life long resident of East Boston. He served his country in the US Army and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. William worked for many years as a self-employed masoner. He was stricken by a sudden illness at home, and passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital. William was 64 years of age.

Services will conclude with William being laid to rest at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Boston.

William Vecchio Sr.

November 28, 1918 - April 19, 2001

Vecchio - William Sr. of Orient Heights, East Boston on Thursday April 19, 2001. Beloved husband for 61 years of Concettina "Tina" (Carino) Vecchio. Beloved father of Joseph "Buster" of East Boston, William Jr. of Maine, and Linda Knox of East Boston. Dear brother of Mary Vatalaro of East Boston and the late Domenick, Vito and Jennie Pugliesi. Also lovingly survived by four grandchildren William III, Priscilla, John and Maria as well as many other nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Tuesday April 24 at 9:00am. Funeral Mass in St.Joseph-St.Lazarus Church, 59 Ashley Street, East Boston at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are on Monday from 4pm to 8pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in William's memory may be made to the St.Joseph-St.Lazarus Church Building Fund, 59 Ashley Street, East Boston 02128.

William was born in Boston in 1918 and was a life long resident of East Boston. He served his country in the US Marines in WWII and worked for many years as a supervisor at the Old Champion Lamp Works Co. in Lynn. William died suddenly at home.

Services will conclude with William being laid to rest with his fellow veterans at the V.A. Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
