LYNN MARIE BAILEY
On Thursday, September 30, 2010, of Crofton, MD. Beloved fiancée of Ronald McIntire; daughter of Elmer and Beverly Bailey; sister of Richard Bailey, Kay Rosnick, Paul and Elmer Bailey, III; aunt of Rachel, Brian, Michael, Crissi, Matthew, Tony, Jennifer, Shannon and Colin; great-aunt of Kayalani. Preceded in death by her mother Ella Bailey and her brother William Bailey. She worked for Giant for 25 years in the seafood department. She enjoyed the beach, boating and family. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her and left everyone she met with a smile. She was dearly loved by her fiancé and “Spanky”. “You are my sunshine.” A memorial service will be held at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD on Thursday, October 7, at 11 a.m. Interment private.

Fr. Thomas Edward Dubay, S.M.
Author, Marist Priest
On Sunday, September 26, 2010, at age 88, of Washington, DC. Born December 30, 1921 in Minneapolis to the late Elie Albert and Leah Caron Dubay, Fr. Dubay entered the Society of Mary (Marists) on September 8, 1944, where he recently celebrated 60 years of ordained ministry. He held doctorate of education from The Catholic University of America. He was a famed international retreat master, the author of more than 20 books, and had a close association with EWTN.
Fr. Dubay is survived by two sisters, Marie Dubay and Veranne Dubay Paquette; two brothers, Alan Dubay and Eli Dubay; their families, and his brother priests and religious in the Society of Mary. He was preceded in death by his brother, Deacon Frank Dubay and sister, Norma Dubay Schepers.
Relatives and friends may call at the chapel of The Little Sisters of the Poor (Jeanne Jugan Residence), 4200 Harewood Road, NE, Washington, DC, on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m., where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 7 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Marist section of Mount Olivet cemetery, Washington, DC.
