Poole, Brenda M.
Brenda Marie (Nickoles) Poole 63 of Louisville, died Friday August 26, 2011 at the Dove House in Westminster. She was the spouse of the late Charles “Sam” Poole, Sr. She was born March 31, 1948 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late William J. “ Pete” and late Alma e. (Thomas) Nickoles. She was Co-Owner of Sam’s Deer Processing, and previously had worked at W.W. Will’s, the Flower Box as a Florist, Bullocks and was an Avon Lady. She enjoyed spending time at her Beach House and Collected Art Glass. Surviving her are Sons Charles “Sam” Poole, Jr. of Taylorsville, Kevin Brian and wife Heather Poole of Lousiville, Grandson Kevin Brian Pool, Jr. and numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by Sister Vivian N. Boone. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday August 30, 2011 11:00 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 Entombment will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM . Donations may be made to the Dove House 292 Stoner Ave. Westminster, MD 21157 of Carroll County Food Sunday 10 Distillery R. Westminster, MD 21157.

Heise, Albert F.
Albert F. Heise, 91 of Randallstown, passed away Sunday September 4, 2011 at Seasons Hospice in Northwest Hospital Center. He was a member of the Colonial Baptist Church; Mr. Heise was born July 11, 1920 in Baltimore, MD the son of the late Alma and late Willy Heise. Also Predecease by Sister the late Alma Greenwood. He was the husband of Doris (Standiford) Heise of Randallstown for 68 years and Father to Albert Kenneth and wife Lynn Heise of Westminster, Stanley Wesley Heise of Randallstown, Elise Christine Smith of TN, Also surviving are Grandchildren; Michael and wife Kathryn Heise, Jessica and husband Sherod Pinkard, Joshua Carter and James Alexander Smith, Great-grandchildren Hailey, Malachi, Isaiah, William, Aaliyah, and Dominic Pinkard. Also survived by brothers William and wife Evelyn Heise, Charles and wife Audrey Heise and Sister Gloria Kreft and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will take place Thursday September 8, 2011 11 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 Interment will be in Woodlawn cemetery. The Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.

Denney, Jean
Jean Denney (nee Greiner), age 86, of Eldersburg, died Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Brinton Woods Nursing Home in Sykesville. She was born September 26, 1924 in Zanesville, Ohio, the daughter of the late William Greiner and the late Mildred Eddy Greiner. She was the wife of the late Russell E. Denney. She was a homemaker. She was the mother of Shelby J. and husband Bill Bacon of Florida, Shirley L. and husband Frank Griffin of Sykesville and Russell “Rusty” and wife Terry Denney of Woodbine. Sister of- Kathy Tarbert and the late Bill Greiner. Grandmother of Tammy Whiteman, Troy Griffin, Doug Gorr, Michael Gorr, Christy Denney and TJ Denney. Great grandmother of- Ryan and Alex Whiteman, Isabella and Nicholas Griffin, Ozzy Bacon, Harry and Bryant Gorr and Sadie and Simon Gorr. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Monday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at 11:00 AM at Wesley Freedom U.M. Church, 961 Johnsville Road, Sykesville with the Rev. Dr. Bill Brown officiating. Interment Private. Cardell, Mary E.
Marie “Betty” E. (Flowers) Cardell 97 of Westminster formerly of Rockdale, died Thursday September 8, 2011 at Carroll Hospital Center. She was born June 14, 1914 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late Emory Harrison Flowers and the late Etta Elizabeth (Cadle) Flowers. She was a Retail Sales Representative and Book Keeper for Don Flowers Florist in Randallstown, MD. She was an active member of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church and Sang in the Choir at Carroll Lutheran Village. Surviving her are Son and Daughter-in-law Richard and Carolyn Cardell of Finksburg. Daughter and son-in-law Rita C. and Barry Hogan of Sykesville. Sister: Janet Lucille Ramsey of Brooklyn, MD Brother: Richard Donald Flowers of PA. Grandchildren: Michael, Matthew, Kelly and Brian Hogan Great-Grandchildren: Sam, Nick, John and Shannon Hogan, Emma and Brady Warble, Lauren, Tyler, Alexis and Lily Hogan. Also Survived by numerous nieces and nephews Preceded in death by Brothers and Sisters; Emory Kenneth Flowers, Ruth Rebecca Flowers, Thomas Maurice Flowers and Dorothy Virginia East. Shipley, Raymond D.
Raymond David Shipley, age 63, of Thurmont, died Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Frederick Memorial Hospital, Frederick, MD. He was born January 7, 1948 in Frederick County, Mt. Airy, MD, the son of the late Stuart Howard Shipley and the late Annie Florene Shipley (nee Schellar). He was a dairy farmer. He enjoyed playing baseball when he was younger and also enjoyed watching baseball. He was the brother of Robert Shipley of Keymar, Kenneth Shipley of Thurmont and the late Millard S. Shipley and the late Edna F. Shipley. He was the uncle of William Shipley of Thurmont; and survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and sister in law Elizabeth M. Shipley (nee Dewell) of Eldersburg. Joan Patricia Pipes (nee Pickett), age 70, of Mt. Airy, died Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Carroll Hospice-Dove House in Westminster, MD. She was born July 12, 1941 in Woodbine, MD the daughter of the late Mifflin Pickett and the late Edna Green Pickett. She was the wife of the late LeFaine Lee Pipes. She was a physiatrist aide at Springfield State Hospital and a homemaker. She was a Baltimore Orioles Fan. She also worked at Snuffy’s Rawhide. She was the mother of Steven Lee Pipes of Westminster. She was the sister of Joyce Alberta Miller of Woodbine and Don Mitchell Pickett of Woodbine, and Mifflin Arthur Pickett of Westminster. Friends may call at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Wockenfuss, Paul H.
Paul Henry Wockenfuss, Jr. 60 of Westminster, MD Died Unexpectly Friday September 16, 2011 at his home in Westminster. He was the spouse of Annetta Irene (Kochel) Wockenfuss. Mr. Wockenfuss was born November 23, 1950 in Annapolis, MD the son of the late Paul Henry and late Marion Josephine (Holub) Wockenfuss, Sr. He served for numerous years in the US Navy and reserves and was retired from the Social Security Administration as a Maintenance Technician. He loved to Tap and Ballroom dance, tinkering with his old truck and Helping others. Surviving in addition to his wife are Children: Jason Paul Wockenfuss of Baltimore and Brittany Beyers of Baltimore, Sister: Mary Ellen Peters of Dundalk his Cat J.J. and numerous, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Services will take place Friday September 23, 2011 10 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. James Junior Garver 80 of Mt. Airy, MD, died Sunday, September 20, 2011 at his home. He was the spouse of over 50 years to Grace E. (Brandenburg) Garver. He was born March 31, 1931 in Carroll County MD the son of the late Newell Hamilton and Saville G. (Reaver) Garver. He was a Retired Carpenter for Pulte Homes. Surviving in addition to his wife are Daughter: Deborah R. Miller of New Windsor, Grandchildren: Jessica and husband Benny Sigler, Crystal and husband Joseph Vizcaino and Rodney L. Connelly, Jr. Great-Grandchildren: James Joseph Connelly, Joseph Nicholas Vizcaino, Grace Elizabeth Sigler, Predeceased by brother the late Charles E. Garver and Sister the late Hilda Marie Hooper. Robert Bennett Kimble, Sr. 93 of Woodbine, MD formerly of Nottingham, PA, died Sunday September 18, 2011 at the Dove House in Westminster, MD. He was the spouse of the late Mary Jane (Bard) Kimble. Mr. Kimble was born March 3, 1918 in Nottingham, PA the son of the late Hope Jenkins and the late W. Roy Kimble. He was a self-employed concrete contractor, a member of the Crisfield American Legion, a Veteran of US Marine Corps, Loved Children, Woodworking, fishing and gardening. Surviving are Daughter : Barbara Rhodes of Woodbine, Daughter and Son-in-law Alice and Harry Witmer of Oxford, PA Son and Daughter-in-law Robert and Marilyn Kimble, Jr. of Hampstead, NC. Daughter Mary Lou Patterson of Olathe, Kansas, Daughter Beverly Kimble of La Center, Washington, Daughter and Son-in-law Deborah and Bill Standiford of Port Deposit, MD Son and Daughter-in-law Jeff and Shelly Kimble of Sykesville, Sister Alice Mullen of IL, Sister-in-law Doris Rhoades of Oxford, PA and Niece Kellie Rhoades of Elkton, MD 13 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren. Predeceased by 6 Siblings. Memorial Services will take place on Saturday September 24, 2011 12 PM at Nottingham Presbyterian Church 497 Christine Rd. Clare E. Bohnenstiel (nee Collins) age 91, of Silver Spring, died Monday September 19, 2011 at Citizens Nursing Home in Frederick, MD. She was born February 2, 1920 in Bellare, Ohio the daughter of Thomas Collins and the late Kate Early Collins. She was a Telephone Operator for AT & T. She was the wife of the late Casper Whitmer Bohnenstiel. She was the mother of Trish Gilliece and husband Mark of Mt. Airy. She was the grandmother of Mark Gilliece, Jr. and Katie Gilliece. Salvatore Joseph Cameron, 73, of Eldersburg, died Tuesday September 20, 2011 at R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma. He was the spouse of Linda (Groomes) Cameron. Mr. Cameron was born December 5, 1937 in Hazelton, PA, the son of the late Joseph and Rita (Bartol) Cameron. He was a Mason for Drecchio Construction and later worked for the State of MD at Clifton T. Perkins Hospital. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. Enjoyed Bonsai Plants and coin collecting. Predeceased by sister Louise Cameron. Surviving in addition to his wife are Sister Mary Ann Drecchio of Perry Hall, Sister Rita Talley of Kingsville, MD and Several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at Baltimore National cemetery, 5501 Frederick Ave. Baltimore MD 21228 on Friday September 23, 2011 11:15 AM. The Family will receive friends on Thursday September 22, 2011 2 to 8 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd.
