Louise B. Pavlik
FREDERICK, Md. - Louise B. Pavlik, 76, of 614 Apple Ave., Frederick, Md., died Tuesday, July 1, 1997, at her home.
Born Jan. 18, 1921, in Greensboro, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Eberee and Kate Hardin Broadnaxe.
She is survived by her husband, Frank P. Pavlik; two daughters, Debbie McLaughlin of Myersville, Md., and Monica Balmaz of Altamonte Springs, Fla.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation. Memorial services will be at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Helen E. Moyer
WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Helen E. Herr Moyer, 94, of 13724 Ridge Road, Waynesboro, Pa., and formerly of 117 Garfield St., Waynesboro, died Tuesday, July 1, 1997, at home.
Born Dec. 10, 1902, in Lancaster County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late J. Aldus and Mary Bowman Herr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A. Herr Moyer, whom she married Nov. 16, 1929.
She was a 1920 graduate of West Lampeter Vocational School of Lancaster County. She was a 1923 graduate of Miss Illman's Kindergarten Training School, Philadelphia.
Prior to her marriage, she taught kindergarten for six years.
She was of the Protestant faith.
She was a member of Waynesboro Hospital Auxiliary; National AARP; and Antietam Humane Society. She was a volunteer for Waynesboro Hospital and Waynesboro Easter Seals Society.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary Ann Payne of Waynesboro, Helen Benchoff of Hagerstown and Marguerite Byrnes of Falls Church, Va.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one niece.
She was preceded in death by a sister, M. Hilda Herr; and one granddaughter.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
There will be no public viewing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Antietam Humane Society, 8513 Lyons Road, Waynesboro, Pa. 17268; or to Lutheran Social Services, 2700 Luther Drive, Chambersburg, Pa. 17201.
Arrangements are by Cumberland Valley Crematory, Waynesboro.
John E. Shirey
CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - John Earl Shirey, 35, of Charles Town, W.Va., died Saturday, June 28, 1997, in Charles Town.
Born May 1, 1962, in Bedford, Pa., he was the son of the late Earl William and Margaret McDonald Shirey.
He was employed as a concrete finisher by RHC Contractor.
He is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Shirey of Kearneysville, W.Va.; one son, Jonathan Shirey of Kearneysville; one sister, Jacqueline Prather of Gerrardstown, W.Va.; and one brother, James Dewey Shirey of Ranson, W.Va.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Allen William Shirey.
Memorial services will be Thursday at 6 p.m. at Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home, 114 N. Mildred St., Ranson. The Rev. James Chambly Jr. will officiate. Burial will be private.
Victor L. Albright
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Victor Lynn Albright, 86, of Martinsburg, died Wednesday, July 2, 1997, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Martinsburg.
Born Aug. 28, 1910, he was a son of the late Lonza Dow and Sallie Jane Harper Albright.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Miller Albright.
A U.S. Army veteran, he served during World War II.
He is survived by a sister, Wanda Snyder of Martinsburg; one brother, Lonza Dow Albright Sr. of Martinsburg; and one half-brother, William Albright of Martinsburg.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, Glenville Albright, Alfred Albright, Bruce Albright, Guy Albright and Robert Albright.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. The Rev. William C. Crowe will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Martinsburg.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Marylena M. Craun
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Marylena M. Craun, 68, of Martinsburg, died Tuesday, July 1, 1997, at City Hospital, Martinsburg.
Born Oct. 22, 1928, in Alexandria, Va., she was the daughter of the late Willard and Lena Thorpe Merchant.
She was a retired registered nurse.
She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
She is survived by one son, Dennis Raney Jr. of Martinsburg; three sisters, Dorothy D. Martino, Lillian Dunn and Bessie Sutherland, all of Alexandria; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held today at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. The Rev. Paul Thompson will officiate. Burial will be private.

CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Margaret Ellen Belle Weisenburg, 62, of Charles Town, died Tuesday, July 1, 1997, at her home.
Born Sept. 26, 1934, in Leetown, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Sarah E. Morningstar Weisenburg.
She was a home care provider
She was a member of Church of the Brethren.
She is survived by one sister, Sara L. Viands of Charles Town; and two brothers, Vernon A. Weisenburg of Bloxom, Va., and Robert M. Weisenburg of Middletown, W.Va.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy E. Weisenburg; and two brothers, Thomas J. Weisenburg Jr. and Harry H. Weisenburg Sr.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home, 114 N. Mildred St., Ranson, W.Va. The Rev. Wyman E. Hall will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens, Martinsburg.

Franklin G. Stewart
KEARNEYSVILLE, W.Va. - Franklin Gardner Stewart, 74, of Kearneysville, formerly of Bakerton, W.Va., died Tuesday, July 1, 1997, at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.
Born Sept. 23, 1922, in Dargan, he was the son of the late George Robert and Ethel Lee Bennett Stewart.
He was a retired driller with Standard Lime & Stone Co., Millville, W.Va.
A U.S. Navy veteran, he served during World War II in the SeaBees.
He was a member of Bakerton Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Custer Stewart of Shepherdstown, W.Va.; two sons, Gardner Lee Stewart of Bakerton and Timothy Allen Stewart Sr. of Kearneysville; two sisters, Alta May Whittington of Shepherdstown and Anna Elizabeth Collis of Gerrardstown, W.Va.; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, David F. Stewart; and one brother, Robert L. Stewart.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Samples Manor Church of God, Samples Manor, Md. The Rev. Charles Gower and the Rev. William Long will officiate. Burial will be in Samples Manor Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Eackles-Spencer Funeral Home, Harpers Ferry, W.Va.

FROSTPROOF, Fla. - Graydon Neville Milne-Jones, 87, of Frostproof, Fla., formerly of Hancock, died Tuesday, June 24, 1997, in Frostproof.
He was born March 22, 1910, in Barbados, West Indies.
He was employed as a maintenance worker by Hinsdale Hospital, Hinsdale, Fla. He was retired.
He was a member of Williamsport Seventh-day Adventist Church, Williamsport.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie G. Milne-Jones of Frostproof; three daughters, Beverly Decker of Frostproof, Elizabeth Atwood of Hancock and Sally Burnett of Falling Waters, W.Va.; one son, David Milne-Jones; one sister, Kathleen Hudson of Irons, Mich.; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Grace Wadsworth.
Memorial services will be Saturday, July 26, at 3 p.m. at Williamsport Seventh-day Adventist Church, 16421 Lappins Road, Williamsport.
Shanique M. Staley
Shanique Marie Staley, one month, died Tuesday, July 1, 1997, at Washington County Hospital.
Born May 13, 1997, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Doris Staley of 951-B Main Ave., Hagerstown.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sisters, Dominique Winston and Jenique Staley, both of Hagerstown; two brothers, Jody Caison and Dimitric Winston, both of Hagerstown; a maternal grandmother, Helen Massie of Hagerstown; two aunts; and three cousins.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. James C. Brinkley will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Mary M. Clabaugh
ORANGE, Va. - Mary M. "Mitsy" Clabaugh, 67, of Orange, Va., died Wednesday, July 2, 1997, at her home.
Born Aug. 18, 1929, in Charles Town, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Garland H. Moore Sr. and Curtis Correll Moore.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of South Plains Presbyterian Church, Keswick, Va.
She was active in civic organizations.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, M. Bruce Clabaugh; one daughter, Ann C. Vogt of Alexandria, Va.; one son, Stephen B. Clabaugh of Holly, Mich.; two sisters, Ann M. Smith of Charles Town and Betsy M. Moore of Philadelphia; one brother, Garland H. Moore Jr.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Merritt Bruce Clabaugh Jr., and one brother, William M. Moore.
Graveside services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town. The Rev. Denny Burnette will officiate. Burial will be in Edge Hill Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
Memorial services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at South Plains Presbyterian Church, Keswick.
Alex M. Hough
CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Alex Marshall Hough, 70, of Charles Town, died Tuesday, July 1, 1997, at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.
Born Jan. 31, 1927, in Jefferson County, W.Va., he was the son of the late George and May Shreck Hough.
He retired in 1990 from Badger-Powhatan Co., Ranson, W.Va.
He was of the Catholic faith.
He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 948, Charles Town.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Lucy L. Breeden Hough; thee sons, Donald Marshall Hough of Martinsburg, W.Va., William Gardner Hough of Charles Town, and Michael Wayne Hough of Virginia Beach, Va.; one stepdaughter, Mary K. Thompson of Kearneysville, W.Va.; two stepsons, Monte Wayne Thompson and Michael Scott Thompson, both of Charles Town; two brothers, Charles E. Hough and Calvin C. Hough, both of Charles Town; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Nellie J. Sipe, Edna Schooley and Catherine Seal; and four brothers, Raymond Hough, Howard Hough, Lester Hough and Paul Hough.
Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town. The Rev. Wyman Hall will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens, Martinsburg, W.Va.
Friends will be received at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
