Diane M. H. Morris
SCOTLAND, Pa. - Diane Marie Homer Morris, 48, of 1096 Garver Lane, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 1997, at her home.
Born June 17, 1949, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Olive M. Miller Homer of Greencastle, Pa., and the late Robert E. Homer.
She was a 1967 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School. She also attended Huntington College, Huntington, Ind.; Messiah College, Grantham, Pa.; and Hagerstown Junior College.
She was first employed as a part time on-the-air personality at WKSL Radio from 1966 to 1996. She also worked in the resource management department with the Department of the Navy in Mechanicsburg, Pa., from 1987 to 1997. She was part owner and operator of Foothills Recording Studio of New Franklin, Pa., from 1989 to 1994. She was instrumental in organizing and producing the "Summer Gospel Music Concert Series" held at Jerome R. King Play-ground, Greencastle in 1996-1997.
She was a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Chambersburg, Pa.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by three sisters, Barbara L. Hopfer of Alexandria, Va., Elaine B. Bittner of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Cynthia K. Cowan of Greencastle; two brothers, Gene L. Homer of Barberton, Ohio, and Tony R. Homer of Greencastle; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 99 Miller Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Warren C. Heintzelman will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
There will be no public viewing. The family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Walter M. Seilhamer
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Walter M. "Bub" Seilhamer, 88, of Penn Hall, and formerly of Colorado Street, Marion, Pa., died Thursday, Oct. 9, 1997, at Menno-Haven.
Born Jan. 25, 1909, in Grindstone Hill, Pa., he was the son of the late Jacob and Emma McCleary Seilhamer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Coover Seilhamer, in 1989.
He worked in road construction in his early life; later he managed Altenwald Feed Elevator for more than 50 years, retiring in 1981.
He was a member of Solomon's United Church of Christ.
He is survived by one grandaughter, Holly Hughes of Bethlehem, Pa.; one grandson, Jeffrey Baker of Moon Township, Pa.; two great-grandaughters, two nieces; and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, 297 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg. The Rev. Peter W. Emig will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the funeral home.

Christopher D. Jackson Jr.
RANSON, W.Va. - Christopher Duane Jackson Jr., infant son of Christopher Duane Jackson Sr. and Kristy D. Hinton of Ranson, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 1997, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Ranson.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Kahil Saekwon Jackson, at home; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Hinton of Charles Town, W.Va.; paternal grandparents, Devale Underwood of Florida and Paul McDowell of Gerrardstown, W.Va.; and great-grandparents, Helen Taylor of Charles Town and Louis Jackson of Kearneysville, W.Va..
Graveside services will be today at 2 p.m. at Pleasant View Memory Gardens, Martinsburg, W.Va. The Rev. Kathy Harris will officiate.
Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg.
Delores M. Mosby
INWOOD, W.Va. - Delores Marlene Mosby, 67, of Inwood, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 1997, at City Hospital, Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born March 30, 1930, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Lewis William and Roxie Wade Mosby.
She retired from Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Martinsburg, after 40 years of service.
She was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by one daughter, Kay F. Lewis of Elmsford, N.Y.; two sisters, Iris V. Dennis of Boston and Frances M. Russ of Martinsburg; two brothers, Lewis M. Mosby of Washington, D.C., and Herbert E. Mosby of Hagerstown; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, Wendell E. Mosby; two sisters, Nina M. Fox and Carolyn E. Smalls; and three brothers, Wendell E. Mosby, George G. Mosby and Charles A. Mosby.
Services will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Rev. Alfred E. Statesman will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m.
The family will meet Monday at 1:30 p.m. at her home in Darksville, W.Va.
William C. Wilson
BRUNSWICK, Md. - William C. Wilson, 69, of 30 E. D St., who died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 1997, was the son of the late Clem L. and Bessie L. Griffith Wilson.
He also is survived by a brother, Delano Wilson of Keedysville.
Edward C. Nalley
BOONSBORO - Edward Charles "Ed" Nalley, 76, of 15 Schoolhouse Court, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 1997, at Western Maryland Center in Hagerstown.
Born July 10, 1921, in Brunswick, Md., he was the son of the late Jacob F. and Norma Knadler Nalley.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen J. "Peggy" Nalley, in 1996.
He had been employed at North American Housing, Point of Rocks, Md., and retired from Smith Development Corp. in Washington, DC.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during World War II and the Korean War. He saw action during the Battle of the Bulge and in the Philippines. He received the Purple Heart.
He was a member of Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ in Boonsboro.
He had been a member of Civilian Conservation Corps before World War II. He was a member of Clopper-Michael Post 10 American Legion in Boonsboro and was president of Schoolhouse Court Residents' Association.
He is survived by three daughters, Nancy Itnyre, Emma Jean Robertson and Connie Delosier, all of Boonsboro; four sons, James Nalley Sr. of Hagerstown, Eddie Nalley of Newport News, Va., Ronnie Reeves and Dennis Nalley, both of Boonsboro; one sister, Ethel Peyton of Randallstown, Md.; 14 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ernest Nalley, Howard Nalley and Arnold Nalley.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. The Rev. Kenneth Harrington and the Rev. James Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Sharpsburg.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ida E. Hendricks
SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - Ida Elizabeth Hendricks, 56, of Shepherdstown, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 1997, at City Hospital, Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born Aug. 13, 1941, in Roanoke, Va., she was the daughter of the late Samuel Jarboe and Nannie Virginia Needy Hodges. William and Mary Needy VanMeter raised her in Shepherdstown.
She was a 1959 graduate of Shepherdstown High School and a 1963 graduate of Shepherd College with a double major in mathematics and music.
She retired from Shepherd College in 1994, having taught in the mathematics department and the College Learning Center. Earlier, she taught at Jefferson High School and Harpers Ferry High School.
She was a member of Christ Reformed Church, UCC, Shepherdstown.
She was a member of Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority; American Association of University Women; and national and West Virginia associations of developmental education. Mr. and Mrs. Hendricks were named as Alumni of the Year for 1997 at Shepherdstown High School.
She served as the organist at Shepherdstown Presbyterian Church since 1959.
She is survived by her husband, of 34 years, William Hampton "Bill" Hendricks; her stepmother, Irene Hodges of Morehead City, N.C.; one son, William Hodges Hendricks of Shepherdstown; one sister, Mary Needy Hodges of Bedington, W.Va.; one half-sister, Cathy Gainey of Morehead City, N.C.; one brother, Samuel Joseph Hodges of Free Union, Va.; one half-brother, John Hodges of Morehead City; one aunt; and two uncles.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Shepherdstown Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Randall Tremba and the Rev. Bronson Staley will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Shepherdstown.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town, W.Va.

Sandra F. Kline
GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Sandra Fay Kline, 40, of 13568 Grant Shook Road, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 1997, at her home.
Born Sept. 26, 1957, in Waynesboro, Pa., she was the daughter of Beverly Fields Welch of Hagerstown and the late Claude Martin Harbaugh.
She was an instructional aide in special education at Marshall Street School and Paramount School with Washington County Board of Education.
She was a member of Macedonia United Brethren Church and was a Sunday school teacher.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Michael H. Kline; stepfather, Jack B. Welch; two sons, David M. Kline of Shady Grove, Pa., and Daniel S. Kline, at home; one sister, Cynthia K. Harbaugh of Hagerstown; four stepsisters, Jacquelyn S. Phillips of Mercersburg, Pa., Brenda L. Weber of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., Cynthia L. Harbaugh and Linda L. Welch, both of Hagerstown; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Gayle L. Ruble Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg, Pa.

Wilbur J. Grant
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Wilbur J. Grant, 68, of Martinsburg, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 1997, at City Hospital, Martinsburg.
Born May 20, 1929, in Buffalo, N.Y., he was the son of the late Charles and Bertha Oelschlaeger Grant.
He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1973, after serving for 23 years. He then worked for Bendix Field Engineering at Goddard Space Flight Center.
He was an active member of South Berkeley Baptist Church.
He was a lifetime member of DAV and a member of VFW in Inwood, W.Va.
He is survived by his wife, Dora Goodwill Grant; two daughters, Diana M. Grant of Cincinnati, and Tina L. Higgins of Laurel, Md.; two sons, Kurt A. Grant of Olney, Md., and the Rev. Kevin E. Grant of Winchester, Va.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at South Berkeley Baptist Church, U.S. 11 and Hardy Drive, Inwood. The Rev. Don Chandler will officiate. Burial will be in Gerrardstown Presbyterian Cemetery
with military services by VFW Post 896 and American Legion Post 14.

Casey R. Crowell
Casey R. Crowell, two months old, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 1997 at Washington County Hospital.
Born Aug. 17, 1997, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Alex T. and Jackie M. Crawford Crowell.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by one sister, Ashley Crowell; three brothers, Travis Crowell, Terrance Crowell and Alex Crowell; maternal grandmother, Gale Crawford of Frederick, Md.; and paternal grandparents, Thelma Dorsey and Wilbert Crowell of Frederick.
The family will meet Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown and proceed to Rose Hill Cemetery
for a graveside service at 10 a.m. The Rev. Anthony Carr will officiate.
James D. Kane
WILLIAMSPORT - James D. Kane, 75, of 40 W. Potomac St., died Thursday, Oct. 9, 1997, at Williamsport Nursing Home, Williamsport.
Born Nov. 11, 1921, in Shelburne, Vt., he was the son of the late Alexander J. and Josephine L. Hanrahan Kane.
He was preceded in death by his wife, June Suratt Kane, in 1985.
He received his bachelor's degree from Columbia University.
He retired as director of physical plant at Jacksonville University, Jacksonville, Fla.
He was a veteran of World War II and served with the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater.
He is survived by two sons, James D. Kane Jr. of Dunedin, Fla., and Brian A. Kane of Williamsport; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Oaklawn Cemetery, Jacksonville.
Visitation will be at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown, today from 6 to 7 p.m.
