Donald E. Brown
Donald E. Brown, 50, of 1417 Kensington Drive, Hagerstown, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 1997, at Washington County Hospital.
Born July 21, 1947, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Charles Henry and Mary Edna Domer Brown.
He was employed by M.P. Moller Inc.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He is survived by one daughter, Trina L. Shultz of Chambersburg, Pa.; one sister, Peggy R. Smith of Falling Waters, W.Va.; one grandson; nieces and nephews; and a friend, Lester E. "Skip" Horner of Hagerstown.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles E. Garlock, George W. Garlock and Robert L. Garlock.
Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Boonsboro Cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
Arrangements are by Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 E. Antietam St., Hagerstown.
Ethan A. Middlekauff
Ethan A. "Dene" Middlekauff, 82, of 20 Richmond St., Hagerstown, died Friday, Jan. 2, 1998, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Oct. 21, 1915, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Franklin Earl and Ruth Estelle Reynolds Middlekauff.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn A. Crawford Middlekauff.
He was employed by Pangborn Corp. for 30 years, retiring in 1980.
He was a member of Christ's Lutheran Church.
He was a member of Hagerstown Lodge 378 BPO Elks; Alsatia Club; First Hose Fire Co.; Pangborn Quarter Century Club; and Senior Citizens Bowling League.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth C. Middlekauff; two daughters, Donna L. Hornbecker of Hagerstown and Brenda J. Smith of Greencastle, Pa.; two sons, Scott A. Middlekauff of Hollidaysburg, Pa. and John W. Gladhill of Sykesville, Md.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be Sunday at 7 p.m. at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 E. Antietam St., Hagerstown. The Rev. Raymond H. Shriver will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday following the service at the funeral home.

Myrtle L. Martin
Myrtle Lucille Martin, 75, of 17435 Gay St., Hagerstown, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 1998, at Washington County Hospital.
Born June 12, 1922, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Raymond "Bill" and Frances Eleanor Turner Jacobs.
She was a 1940 graduate of Williamsport High School; and a graduate of Hagerstown Business College.
She was a member of Virginia Avenue Baptist Church.
She was a member of Ladies of the Elks 378 Women's Bowling League.
She is survived by her husband, of 56 years, Glenn Frederick Martin Sr., four daughters, Glenda Lou Mason of Pasco, Wash., and Joyce Ann Tarner, Frances Elizabeth Nigh and Lucille Diane Wade, all of Hagerstown; one son, Michael Dennis Martin of Hagerstown; two sisters, Frances Corrinne Ardinger of Fairplay, Md., and Cheryl Marie Swope of Williamsport; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Glenn Frederick Martin Jr.
Services will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Richard A. Gross will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Lawrence L. Stottlemyer
Lawrence L. "Larry" Stottlemyer, 72, of Brinker Drive, Hagerstown, and formerly of Baltimore, Ferndale, Md., and Glen Burnie, Md., who died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 1997, also was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Nuckels Lum.
Elsie R. Price
Elsie Rubeck Price, 97, formerly of 250 Pangborn Blvd., Hagerstown, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 1998, at Homewood Nursing Home, Williamsport.
Born March 15, 1900, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret Shaefer Rubeck.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Bernard Price, in 1979.
She was a member of Salem Reformed Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Lorraine Fiery of Clear Spring; one son, Richard Price of Hagerstown; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Swartz; and two brothers, John Rubeck and Edwin Rubeck.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. C. Richard Masters will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Lawrence L. "Larry" Stottlemyer, 72, of Brinker Drive, Hagerstown, and formerly of Baltimore, Ferndale, Md., and Glen Burnie, Md., who died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 1997, was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Lum.
Myrtle L. Martin
Myrtle Lucille Martin, 75, of 17435 Gay St., Hagerstown, who died Thursday, Jan. 1, 1998, also is survived by one brother, William Preston Jacobs of Hagerstown. She also was a member of Ladies of the Elks 378; and previously a member of Elks Women's Bowling League.
Mildred G. Huggin
BOONSBORO - Mildred Geraldine Huggin, 88, of Reeder's Memorial Home, died Sunday, Jan. 4, 1998, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Sept. 20, 1909, in Beaver Creek, she was the daughter of the late John R. and Anna Mabel Maus Froehlich.
Her husband, James C. Huggin, died in 1978.
She was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church since 1942. She also was a member of Women Society for Christian Service.
She is survived by one daughter, Phyllis H. Nunamaker of Boonsboro; one son, Gerald C. Huggin of Dumfries, Va.; one sister, Hazel Mavity of Boonsboro; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert M. Froehlich.
Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Richard W. Simpson and the Rev. Marcus Earp will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home 30 minutes prior to the service on Tuesday.
Bonnie H. Revell
Bonnie Howard Revell, 87, of Hagerstown, and formerly of Pectonville, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 1998, at Washington County Hospital.
Born March 26, 1910, near Hilliard, Fla., he was the son of the late James H. and Eliza Francis Revell.
He retired from Fairchild Aircraft in 1975 after 34 years of service. He was previously employed by Western Maryland Railway for five years.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He is survived by one daughter, Glenda M. Pugh of Hagerstown; one son, Ronald D. Revell of Martinsburg, W.Va.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sonja B. Revell; one son, William E. Revell; three sisters, Wilma Robinson, Eva DeVane and Mildred Goss; and four brothers, Walter Revell, Francis Revell, Donald Revell and Carlton Revell.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Robert E. Revell will officiate. Burial will be in Parkhead Church Cemetery in Big Pool.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Patricia A. Reid
FUNKSTOWN - Patricia Ann "Pat" Reid, 65, of 19 W. Maple St., died Sunday, Jan. 4, 1998, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Aug. 4, 1932, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence G. and Rebekah Grove Reid.
She was a 1950 graduate of Hagerstown High School and attended Columbia Business College.
She retired in 1988 after 18 1/2 years from the state of Maryland, Department of Economic and Employment Development. She was previously employed by Washington County Commissioners; Trial Magistrate, the Hon. James F. Strine; Fairchild Republic; and Eyerly's.
She was a member of Christ's Reformed Church.
She was active in Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for 32 years. She served as the first woman president of Young Democrats of Washington County. She served as national committee woman for State Young Democrats from 1961 to 1963. She was awarded Outstanding Young Democrat of the Year for 1970 for the state of Maryland.
She was a member of Dixon Troxell Unit 211 American Legion Auxiliary in Funkstown, serving as president of the unit from 1982 to 1983. At the time of her death, she was serving her third term as chaplain for Dixon Troxell American Legion Unit 211.
She also was a member of AARP.
She is survived by one stepsister, Nola Dischert of Miami; one stepbrother, Richard K. Wagner of Hagerstown; five nieces; and seven nephews.
She was preceded in death by one stepbrother, Max E. Wagner; her stepfather, Benjamin M. Wagner; and a very close friend, Harold M. Fagan.
Services will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Donald Moul will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
