Vadie V. Morgan
BASTROP, La. - Vadie V. Morgan, 80, of 12484 Crossett Road, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1998, at the home of her son in Chambersburg, Pa.
Born Nov. 24, 1917, in Buckner, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Lee and Nora McKinney Cooper.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Morgan, in 1989.
She retired in 1969 as a supervisor for Spiegel Food Production in Salinas, Calif. More recently, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry L. Morgan of Chambersburg and Don R. Morgan of Gambrills, Md.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, March 3, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Bastrop.
The viewing in Chambersburg will be private.

Victor D. Sneckenberger
MARION, Ind. - Victor David Sneckenberger, 86, of 912 W. 9th St., died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1998, at Marion General Hospital Extended Care, Marion.
Born Aug. 9, 1911, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late John and Mary Herbert Sneckenberger.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances May Condran Sneckenberger, in 1993. They were married in 1940.
He retired in 1973 as co-owner of Marine Electronics, Hagerstown.
He is survived by three daughters, Vicki Mae Furjanic of Harrisburg, Pa., Victory Knipe and Sharon Dunmire, both of West Virginia; one son, Curtis Sneckenberger of South Carolina; one sister, Violet Sneckenberger of Hagerstown; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Coble-Reber Funeral Home, 208 N. Union St., Middletown, Pa. Burial will be in Oberlin Gardens, Oberlin, Pa.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 7 p.m. at Needham-Storey North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion; and Saturday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Bruce V. Kepler
FREDERICK, Md. - Bruce V. Kepler, 82, of Frederick, died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 1998, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born March 15, 1915, in Middletown, Md., he was the son of the late Bruce S. and Erma Dean Kepler.
He served with the U.S. Army.
He retired from the Maryland Department of Agriculture.
He was a member of Centennial United Methodist Church, Frederick.
He was a member of Masons' Columbia Lodge 58; Lodge of Perfection; and VFW, all of Frederick. He also was a member of Holly Hills Country Club.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Rebecca Flook Kepler; one son, Vincent F. Kepler of Falling Waters, W.Va.; one brother, Dale D. Kepler of Middletown; two grandchildren, Erin Rebecca Kepler and Mathew Vincent Kepler, both of Sarasota, Fla.; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Kefauver, in 1997.
Memorial services will be Monday, March 2, at 2 p.m. at Centennial United Methodist Church, 8 W. Second St., Frederick. The Rev. George Earle will officiate. Private burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Middletown.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, where Masonic services will be held at 7:30 p.m.

Leah V. Lewis
Leah Virginia Lewis, 69, of 11902 Phyllane Drive, Hagerstown, died Thursday, Feb. 26, 1998, at Washington County Hospital.
Born July 21, 1928, in Garfield, Md., she was the daughter of the late Richard E. and Bina S. Lewis Harne.
She was the owner and broker of Lea Land Real Estate of Hagerstown.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
She was a member of Business and Professional Women.
She was a former member of the Board of Directors of Ravenwood Lutheran Village.
She is survived by her husband, Robert B. Lewis Sr.; one daughter, Robin D. Himes of Hagerstown; three sons, Robert B. Lewis Jr., Larry C. Lewis and Steven R. Lewis, all of Hagerstown; one sister, Betty Willard of Smithsburg; and six grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown. The Rev. Raymond H. Shriver will officiate. Burial will be in Garfield Methodist Church Cemetery, Garfield.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Linda L. McNeal
Linda Lou McNeal, 45, of 544 Washington Ave., Hagerstown, died Thursday, Feb. 26, 1998, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Aug. 10, 1952, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Richard "Dick" and Katheryn P. "Billie" Miller McNeal of Hagerstown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry "Mouse" Trite, in 1992.
She was a 1970 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and a 1972 graduate of Hagerstown Junior College.
She was a former employee of Electromet Corp.
She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
She is survived by two sisters, Bonnie K. Miller and Julie A. Reeder, both of Hagerstown; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown. The Rev. David B. Kaplan will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.

Henry Keefer Sr.
SYLVA, N.C. - Henry Keefer Sr., 70, of 1867 Fisher Creek Road, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 1998, at his home.
He was the son of the late George A. and Mary Goldie Mellott Keefer.
He retired from Industrial Maintenance Overflow Corp., Fletcher, N.C., as a pipe fitter and welder.
He was a member of East Sylva Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Gazelle Morgan Keefer; three daughters, Betty Hall of Rockingham, N.C., Cathy Farmer and Kay Monteith, both of Sylva; two sons, Gene Keefer of Balsam, N.C., and Henry Keefer Jr. of Sylva; five sisters, Edna Funk, Esther Shipley and Marie Stoner, all of Pennsylvania, Nellie Wishard of Waynesville, N.C., and Mary Jane Keebaugh of Florida; two brothers, Frank Keefer and Hayes Keefer, both of Pennsylvania; 17 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at East Sylva Baptist Church. The Rev. Charles Dean and the Rev. Tommy Fisher will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens.

Mark H. Campbell Jr.
BRUNSWICK, Md. - Mark Hebrew Campbell Jr., 78, of 509 A Street, died Thursday, Feb. 26, 1998, at Frederick Health Care Center, Frederick, Md.
Born March 18, 1919, in Riverton, Ky., he was the son of the late Mark Hebrew and Minnie Sophia Conway Campbell Sr.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Louise Grams Campbell, in 1986.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army. He received the EAME Theater Ribbon with six bronze stars; American Defense Service Medal; Good Conduct Ribbon; and Soldier's Medal.
A retired brakeman, he had 35 years of service with B&O Railroad at Brunswick.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church.
He was a member of Brunswick Lions Club; Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1136; Steadman-Keenan Post 96 of American Legion; Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1582; and B & O Veterans Association, all of Brunswick.
He is survived by three sons, Douglas Campbell of Brunswick, Richard Campbell of Smithsburg and Michael Campbell of Jefferson, Md.; two sisters, Minnie Kleiser of Lexington, Ky., and Naomi Spangler of Columbus, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by 10 sisters and brothers.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at John T. Williams Funeral Home, 100 Petersville Road, Brunswick. The Rev. Robert McCullough will officiate. Burial will be in Park Heights Cemetery, Brunswick.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, which will be open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
