Linda D. Wolf
FREDERICK, Md. - Linda Darlene Wolf, 51, of 5803 Hobblebush Court, died Thursday, July 9, 1998, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born Nov. 28, 1946, in Santa Maria, Calif., she was the daughter of the late Barr W. Wolf and Helen V. Butts Wood.
She was a 1964 graduate of Middletown High School.
She was formerly employed at Montevue Home as a nurse, for 20 years.
She was a member of Cornerstone Fellowship of Frederick.
She is survived by a brother, Donald A. Wood of Dillon, Colo.; an aunt, Hilda Summers of Walkersville, Md.; an uncle, Lloyd L. Beard of Hagerstown; and special friend, Paula Hait.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Hartzler Funeral Home, Woodsboro, Md. The Rev. Paul Black will officiate. Burial will be in Wolfsville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mazie G. Whetzel
KNOXVILLE, Md. - Mazie G. Whetzel, 77, formerly of Knoxville, died Thursday, July 9, 1998, at Frederick Health Care Center, Frederick, Md.
Born Jan. 19, 1921, in Hardy County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Jacob C. and Hanna Strawderman Albright.
She is survived by two daughters, Thelma V. Cutsail of Frederick and Deborah A. Mills of Knoxville; five sons, Basil B. Whetzel Jr. of Rocky Ridge, Md., Harvey B. Whetzel of Jefferson, Md., James S. Whetzel of Frederick, Rodney R. Whetzel and Michael A. Whetzel, both of Knoxville; one sister, Bonnie Sours of Seattle; three brothers, Ernest Albright of Frederick, Dayton Albright of Jefferson and Emil Albright of Boyce, Va.; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, two brothers, three step-brothers and a grandson, James B. Whetzel.
Memorial services will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Jefferson Community Center. The Rev. Carroll Doggett Jr. will officiate. Private burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
The family requests the omission of flowers.
Memorial donations may be made to the hospice unit of one's choice.
Donald L. Henson
MYERSVILLE, Md. - Donald Leroy Henson, 83, of Myersville, died Thursday, July 9, 1998, at his home.
Born Aug. 27, 1914, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Roy and Ethel Mae Fridinger Henson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Winona Bonney Henson, in 1990.
He was a retired employee of Fairchild Aircraft in Hagerstown. Since then, he had been associated with Dona Huffer School of Dance, where he was known to the students as "Granddaddy".
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Boonsboro.
He is survived by one daughter, Dona L. Huffer of Middletown, Md.; two brothers, Howard Henson and George Henson, both of Hagerstown; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Mae Frushour; a grandson, Scott Frushour; and a brother, Bud Henson.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. Bryan Bailey, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery, Wolfsville, Md.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Friends also may call Saturday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Dale W. Kegarise
Dale Wilmont Kegarise, 48, of 20 Snyder Ave., Hagerstown, died Thursday, July 9, 1998, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Nov. 9, 1949, in Anne Arundel County, Md., he was the son of the late Harold Tyson and Hazel Aldene Gibson Kegarise.
He was employed with Craig Paving for 10 years, retiring in 1988.
He is survived by a sister, Doris A. Chapman of Jacksonville, Fla.; five brothers, Robert E. Kegarise, Stanley Earl Kegarise, Fred Kegarise and Kenneth Kegarise, all of Hagerstown and Sam Kegarise of Marlowe, W.Va.; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Charlotte Mellott; and two brothers, Charles Kegarise and Richard Kegarise.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Louis L. Emerick will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
William D. Westervelt Jr.
HAMPSTEAD, Md. - William DeRyee Westervelt Jr., 64, of Hampstead, died Thursday, July 9, 1998, at his home.
Born Aug. 31, 1933, in Springfield, Mass., he was the son of the late William D. and Avis E. Connery Westervelt.
He was a machine operator for Ward Machinery.
He served with the U.S. Navy.
He was president of Ships and Bottles Association of America.
He is survived by his wife, Martha "Betty" Drenning Westervelt; two daughters, Beth Palmer of Brodbecks, Pa., and Donna Petry of Woodbridge, Va.; three sons, William Westervelt III of Hagerstown, Kenneth Westervelt of Timonium, Md., and Bruce Westervelt of Westminster, Md.; a sister, Barbara Davis of Lutherville, Md.; a brother, John Westervelt of Whitepost, Va.; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, Md. 30 and Charmil Drive, Manchester, Md. The Rev. David Leblanc of Baltimore County Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Freeland, Md.
Friends may call Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Leonard B. Palmer Sr.
Leonard Bruce Palmer Sr., 72, of 233 Summit Ave., Hagerstown, died Thursday, July 9, 1998, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Aug. 27, 1925, in Martinsburg, W.Va., he was the son of the late Leonard Wilson and Minnie Pearl Green Palmer.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Palmer; and his second wife, Jane White Palmer.
He was a veteran of the Merchant Marines.
He retired from Mack Truck.
He was a Protestant.
He is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Stains of Florida; a son, Ronald Palmer of Hagerstown; two sisters, Bettie Erickson and Winifred J. Kubert, both of Hagerstown; and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Leonard B. Palmer Jr.; a brother, Charles K. Palmer; and a grandson, Leonard Palmer.
There will be no services or viewing.
Arrangements are by Minnich Funeral Home, Hagerstown.
Hilda G. Riebsame
ST. CLYDE, N.Y. - Hilda G. Riebsame, 85, a resident of Wayne County Nursing Home, and formerly of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died Thursday, July 9, 1998.
Born in Morgan County, W.Va., on Sept. 29, 1912, she was the daughter of the late William and Aida Peck Kelley.
Her first husband, Calvin Bohrer, died in 1963.
She worked at Hallagan Furniture in Newark, N.Y., as a sewing room seamstress, and retired from Newark Developmental Center in 1968.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Lloyd Riebsame of Lyons, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Greenway Cemetery in Berkeley Springs. The Rev. Edwin Floyd will officiate.

Patricia A. Null
BOONSBORO - Patricia Anne Null, 56, of 20045 Mill Point Road, died Friday, July 10, 1998, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Dec. 11, 1941, in Sharpsburg, she was the daughter of the late Jacob E. Sr. and Minnie M. Kidwiler Bender.
She was formerly employed in the radiology department of Washington County Hospital, Washington County Board of Education in Hagerstown, Shifler's Nationwide Insurance Agency in Boonsboro, and recently retired from Summers and Hanes Erie Insurance Agency in Boonsboro.
She was a member of Victory Baptist Church near Boonsboro, where she was assistant treasurer, choir member, helped with the nursery and was an assistant pianist.
She is survived by her husband, Robert N. Null, whom she married March 12, 1960; two sons, Ryan K. Null and Gregory W. Null, both of Boonsboro; one sister, Katherine M. Ramacciotti of Williamsport; three brothers, Jacob E. Bender Jr. of Sharpsburg, Jerry L. Bender of Williamsport, and Thomas R. Bender of Forest Hill, Md.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a half-sister, Betty Jane DeLauney.
Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Victory Baptist Church, 8014 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. The Rev. Edward J. Wade will officiate. Burial will be in Boonsboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
