Kathryn E. Feltner

CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Kathryn Emily "Katty" Feltner, 85, of Charles Town, died Friday, July 31, 1998, at her son's home in Ranson, W.Va.

Born Feb. 5, 1913, in Lovettsville, Va., she was the daughter of the late Howard Garland and Annie Elizabeth Reek Smallwood.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth N. Feltner, in 1968.

She retired after 40 years as secretary for Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 948, Charles Town.

She was a Baptist.

She was a charter member of Women of the Moose Chapter 1028, Charles Town, with 50 years of service; and a member of Academy of Friendship in the Moose.

She is survived by a son, Gary G. Mose of Ranson; a sister, Helen Falls of Charles Town; a brother, Lewis Smallwood of Ranson; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, May Dillow; and two brothers, Howard Smallwood and Willard Smallwood.

Graveside services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town. Dr. Wyman Hall will officiate.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 2015 Boyd Orchard Court, Martinsburg, W.Va. 25401.

Sarah J. McCammon

Sarah Jane McCammon, 54, of 12930 The Terrace, Hagerstown, who died Wednesday, July 29, 1998, was preceded in death by her parents, Charles S. and Martha E. Meyers Stanton, and a brother, Charles S. Stanton Jr. She was a member of the National Education Association.

Theo R. Bragunier

CLEAR SPRING - Theo R. Bragunier, 80, of 14743 Blairsvalley Road, died Saturday, August 1, 1998, at Avalon Manor Nursing Center, Hagerstown.

Born April 25, 1918, in Clear Spring, he was the son of the late Frank and Martha Corwell Bragunier.

He was retired from Pinkerton Security System of Hagerstown.

He was a member of Blairsvalley First Church of God of Clear Spring.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Geraldine M. Gift Bragunier of Clear Spring; two daughters, Joann L. Starliper of Clear Spring and Diann L. Bricker of Mercersburg, Pa.; one son, George A. Bragunier of Clear Spring; two sisters, Marcelle Miles of Chattanooga, Tenn. and Lola French of Clear Spring; one brother, Clarence Bragunier of Clear Spring; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Laura Clark and Sarah Stiles.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Donald E. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 13607 National Pike, Clear Spring. The Rev. Norris Sword and the Rev. Robert Timmons will officiate. Burial will be in Blairsvalley Cemetery, Clear Spring.

The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Clear Spring Ambulance Club, P.O. Box 61, Clear Spring, Md. 21722.

Audre L. Kline

Audre Lorraine Kline, 79, of 136 North Avenue, Hagerstown, died Friday, July 31, 1998, at Colton Villa Nursing Center.

Born Jan. 23, 1919, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Cornelious S. and Thelma B. Stumbaugh Andrews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Scott M. Kline, in 1972.

She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Judith L. Zumpano of La Vale, Md.; one son, David C. Riner of Gilbertsville, Pa.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Catherine Stehl; and one brother, Ulmont Andrews.

Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Ann V. Atkins will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The funeral home will be open Monday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. for the convenience of friends.

Audre L. Kline

Audre Lorraine Kline, 79, of 136 North Avenue, Hagerstown, died Friday, July 31, 1998, at Colton Villa Nursing Center.

Born Jan. 23, 1919, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Cornelious S. and Thelma B. Stumbaugh Andrews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Scott M. Kline, in 1972.

Shirley A. Wiles

Shirley Ann Wiles, 63, of 213 Summer St., Hagerstown, died Sunday, Aug. 2, 1998, at her home.

Born May 15, 1935, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Omar Russell and Viola Mable Troup Carbaugh.

Her husband, Charles Eugene Smokey Wiles Sr., died in 1994.

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Vickie Eichelberger of Big Pool, Jacqueline Bradds and Pamela Wiles, both of Hagerstown; two sons, Charles E. Wiles Jr. of Hagerstown, and Robert Wiles of Big Pool; one sister, Carol Rockwell of Virginia; three brothers, James Carbaugh, David Carbaugh and Robert Carbaugh, all of Hagerstown; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Nancy Lee Wiles; and one brother, Richard Carbaugh.

Services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Eddie Blackmon will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

There will be no viewing.

Shirley A. Crumlich

BOONSBORO - Shirley Ann Crumlich, 58, of 21623 Mount Lena Road, died Saturday, Aug. 1, 1998, at Washington County Hospital.

Born Dec. 1, 1939, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Rachel Chilcote Lefever.

Her husband, George C. Crumlich, died in 1981.

She was most recently employed by Red Horse Steak House.

She was a member of United Brethren Church in Mount Lena.

She is survived by one daughter, Kimberly A. Williams of Boonsboro; one son, Keith C. Crumlich of Hagerstown; two sisters, Dorothy Souders of Hagerstown, and Nancy Hearnlaye of Spencer, Mass.; three brothers, Charles Lefever of Phoenix, Ariz., Harry Lefever of Petersburg, Va., and Robert Lefever of Falling Waters, W.Va.; a special friend, William H. Souders Sr. of Boonsboro; and one granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by one son, Douglas Lefever; and two sisters, Catherine Stottlemyer and Frances Cosens.

Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. The Rev. James F. Meuller will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery in San Mar.

There will be no viewing; however the family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1037 Haven Road, Hagerstown, Md. 21742.

Shirley A. Crumlich

BOONSBORO - Shirley Ann Crumlich, 58, of 21623 Mount Lena Road, who died Saturday, Aug. 1, 1998, was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Lefever; and two sisters, Catherine Stottlemyer and Frances Cosens.

Joseph E. Jones

WICHITA, Kan. - Joseph E. Jones, 83, of Wichita, died Monday, Aug. 3, 1998.

Born in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Nimrod Jones and Anna Hause.

He was a retired aircraft supervisor.

He is survived by his wife, Emma Jones; one daughter, Gwendolyn Nash of Wichita; one sister, Catherine Lobach of West Virginia; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at Resthaven Chapel, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita.

Harold G. Pryor

Harold G. Pryor, 85, of Jefferson Boulevard, Hagerstown, died Monday, Aug. 3, 1998, at Colton Villa Nursing Home.

Born April 5, 1913, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late James Walter and Olive Idella Wolfe Pryor.

He was a 1931 graduate of Hagerstown High School.

He was employed as a consumer credit officer at First National Bank of Maryland, retiring in 1973.

A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

He also was a member of Friendship Lodge 84, A.F.&A.M.; Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Hagerstown Forest 95; and American Legion, Morris Frock Post 42.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Theresa E. Pryor; one daughter, Jean L. Minor of Hagerstown; and one granddaughter, Julie Minor of Hagerstown.

Services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. David M. Buchenroth will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, where a memorial service will be conducted by Friendship Lodge 84 at 7 p.m.
