Reginald L. King
Reginald Lamont King, 35, of 109-18 Bayberry Court, Hagerstown, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 1998, at Frederick (Md.) Memorial Hospital.
Born April 2, 1963, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Agnes Broadus of Hagerstown and James Phillip Wallace of New York.
He attended South Hagerstown High School.
He was a self-employed drywall hanger.
He attended Campher Memorial Church.
He enjoyed sports, restoring automobiles and doing home repairs.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Kirk Mitchell King of Hagerstown; a sister, Nedra L. King Keyes of Hagerstown; two brothers, Pierie Long of Norris, Pa., and Troy Long of Berwyn, Pa.; aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Charles W. Broadus.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Campher Memorial Church, Hagerstown. The Rev. Derick Kee will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
Viewing will be Monday one hour prior to services at the church.
Arrangements are by Watson Funeral Home, Hagerstown.
Charles C. Kline
BOONSBORO - Charles Calvin Kline, 87, of 7720 Sharpsburg Pike, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 1998, at Colton Villa Nursing Center.
Born March 23, 1911, in Gettysburg, Pa., he was the son of the late William and Susan Naile Kline.
He was a farmer on Wilbur Moser Farm and previously was employed by Hoffman Mill.
He was a member of Battlefield Bible Church.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mabel Irene Valentine Kline; three daughters, Ruth Ann Kaetzel of Boonsboro, Susan C. Walizer of Loganton, Pa., and Loretta M. Kline of Hagerstown; a son, Raymond E. Kline of Hagerstown; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Valentine; and a brother, Roy Kline.
Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Battlefield Bible Church, 7708 Sharpsburg Pike, Fairplay. The Rev. Henry A. Lutz will officiate. Burial will be in Beaver Creek Cemetery, Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro; and Tuesday one hour prior to services at the church. Friends may call on Monday after 9 a.m.

Julius W. Hendrickson
STEPHENS CITY, Va. - Julius Warren Hendrickson, 70, of Stephens City and formerly of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died Saturday, Aug. 29, 1998, in Berkeley Springs.
Born March 27, 1928, in Morgan County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Herman H. and Clara B. Lopp Hendrickson.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sarah Virginia Shade Hendrickson, in 1992.
He was employed by Cooper Abex of Winchester, Va., in strip finish production, for 27 years. He also was a farmer.
He was a veteran of World War II. He received the Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. He served with the U.S. Navy for nine years.
He was a member of Moose Lodge 1483 and United Auto Workers Local Union 149 of Winchester.
He is survived by his wife, Diana Baer Hickerson Hendrickson; four stepdaughters, Brenda Muniz of Brentwood, Tenn., Linda Dean of Stephens City, Judy Hickerson of Nashville, Tenn., and Earnesteen Farris of Berkeley Springs; two stepsons, Kenneth Hickerson of Front Royal, Va., and Jeffrey Hickerson of Stephens City; a brother, Paul Hendrickson of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; a niece and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Lee Kerns.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home, 106 S. Mercer St., Berkeley Springs. The Rev. William C. Swope will officiate. Burial will be in Shade Family Cemetery, Berkeley Springs, with graveside military services conducted by Tri-State Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Jashea M. N. Jacques
Jashea Marie Nicollette Jacques, infant daughter of Jean Marie Jacques of 13510 Paradise Drive, Hagerstown, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 1998, at Washington County Hospital.
She was born Aug. 27, 1998, in Hagerstown.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sisters, Jasemine Lee and Jennifer Lee, both at home; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Jean Ann Jacques of Hagerstown; aunts; uncles; and cousins.
Services will be today at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.

Dortha H. Smith
HANCOCK - Dortha Helen Smith, 84, of Hancock, and formerly of St. Charles County, Mo., died Sunday, Aug. 30, 1998, at St. Joseph Health Center, St. Charles, Mo.
Born Oct. 26, 1913, in Hancock, she was the daughter of the late Wright Baxter and Rosa Belle Brady Seavolt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin M. Smith.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Rosaline Y. Couser of St. Charles; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ethel Ammenheuser and Louise Chisholm; and two brothers, Edison Grant Seavolt and Wade Tedroe Seavolt.
Services will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Catalpa Methodist Church, Hancock. Burial will be in Tonoloway Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Needmore, Pa.
Visitation will be at Baue Funeral Home, 620 Jefferson St., St. Charles, today from 7 to 9 p.m.; and at Grove Funeral Home, Hancock, on Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Patrick J. Soroko
Memorial services for Patrick James Soroko, 41, of Hagerstown, who died Friday, Aug. 28, 1998, will be Thursday, Sept. 10, at 11 a.m. at Maple Tree Campground, 20716 Townsend Road, Gapland. Phyllis Soroko will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Carol A. Campbell
ALTOONA, Fla. - Carol Ann Campbell, 52, of 20725 South Road, died Monday, Aug. 31, 1998, at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida, Gainesville, Fla.
She was born in Hagerstown.
She was a cashier at Wal-Mart, Mount Dora, Fla.
She was a life member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 8087, Eustis, Fla. She was past president of Military Order of the Cootie's Auxiliary Scratching 36.
She is survived by her husband, Malcolm Campbell; one son, Daniel E. Campbell of Altoona; one sister, Beverly E. Townsend of Charlotte, N.C.; and two brothers, Robert E. Harne of Warner Robins, Ga., and Calvin T. Harne Jr. of Altoona.
Memorial services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at VFW Post 8087, Highway 19A, Eustis.

George D. Watts Jr.
George Dewey Watts Jr., 70, of 11403 Stonecroft Court, Hagerstown, died Monday, Aug. 31, 1998, at Washington County Hospital.
Born June 1, 1928, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late George D. Watts Sr. and Elizabeth M. Sprecher Watts.
He retired from Serv-U-Vending.
He was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church.
He is survived by three daughters, Deborah Ann Watts of Fairfax, Va., Diane J. Ballentine and Cheryl W. Kendig, both of Hagerstown; three sisters, Louise Stotelmyer, Elsie Sweigert and Martha Byers, all of Hagerstown; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Lucille Miles.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 802 Summit Ave., Hagerstown. The Rev. Dennis L. Upton will officiate.
There will be no viewing.

Ella D. Hart
Ella Davis Hart, 84, of 321 Henry Ave., Hagerstown, died Saturday, Aug. 29, 1998, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Dec. 11, 1913, in Leetown, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Carrie Williams.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Hart.
She attended school in Leetown.
She was a self-employed caterer.
She was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Hagerstown and was active in church functions.
She also was a member of Goodwill Club.
She is survived by one daughter, Ardene Smith of Hagerstown; a niece whom she raised, Clara Bell Wills; a nephew, Robert Harris, and two additional children, Mollie Green and Teresa Russ, all of Hagerstown; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by five sisters, Catherine Shaw, Ethel Harris, Gladys Ross, Anna Bell Dorsey and Eva Russ; and three brothers, Eugene Harris, Raymond Daniel Williams and Harry Harris.
Services will be Thursday at noon at Zion Baptist Church, Hagerstown. The Rev. Haru Carter will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
A viewing will be held at the church Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m.
