Dorothy Lucille Trigg, 84, of Reisterstown, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004, at Chapel Hill Nursing Home, Randallstown.

There will be no visitation or service. Interment will be private.

Arrangements are by Eline Funeral Home, Reisterstown.

R. Blaine Wilson, 50, of Owings Mills

Robert Blaine Wilson, 50, of Owings Mills, died Monday, Sept. 13, 2004, at his home, from undetermined causes.

Born Sept. 19, 1953, in Gettysburg, Pa., he was the son of James F. Wilson of Mount Airy and the late Doris Brown Wilson.

He was a graduate of Franklin High School in Reisterstown and served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He was a mechanic for Baltimore Concrete Products.

Surviving, in addition to his father, are brothers John Wilson of Hanover, Pa., and Tim Wilson of Phoenix; and sister Karen Ann Glacken of Westminster.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m

Mary A. Charbonneau, 52, of Finksburg

Mary A. Charbonneau, 52, of Finksburg, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004, at her home.

Born March 1, 1952, she was the wife of Wilfred Charbonneau.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are sons Thomas and Shawn.

A private celebration of life service will be held.

Zane D. Clayton, 23, of Mount Airy

Zane Derek Clayton, 23, of Mount Airy, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004, in Walkersville.

Born Nov. 27, 1980, at Sibley Hospital in Washington, D.C., he was the son of Zane Shephard and Dorothy Marie Lewis Clayton of Mount Airy.

He was an employee of the Frederick County Fire and Rescue Services and a lieutenant with the Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Department, where he was a firefighter and paramedic. He was employed in the Cardiac Department at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, Rockville.

He was a 1998 graduate of South Carroll High School and a member of the National Honor Society. He received a degree in Emergency Health Services from the University of Maryland Baltimore Campus.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are sister Carly Clayton of Mount Airy; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Hyattstown United Methodist Church, 26121 Frederick Road, Hyattstown, with the Rev. Joe Duke of Carroll Community Church officiating. Interment will be in Hyattstown Methodist cemetery.

A memorial service will be held by the Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Department at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Olin L. Molesworth Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus.

Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Department, Attn: Jim Linton, 702 N. Main St., Mount Airy, MD 21771.

Albert L. Murphy, 76, of Frederick

Albert Leroy Murphy, 76, of Frederick, died Monday, Sept. 13, 2004, at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore.

Born April 1, 1928, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Albert Leroy and Leona Schemm Murphy. He was the husband of Gail Parks Murphy.

He had been a salesman in the tobacco and candy industry. He had lived in the Eldersburg area for many years.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are son Scott A. Murphy of Eldersburg; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Glenda Parks of Frederick, May and John Anderson of New Freedom, Pa., and June and Ed Wienefeld of Timonium; and nieces and nephews Steve, Jeffrey, Kathy, Wendy, June and Marc.

A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville. Interment will be private.

Friends may call from 6 p.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.

Arthur D. Starner Jr., 84, of Westminster

Arthur Dayhoff Starner Jr., 84, of Westminster, died Monday morning, Sept. 13, 2004, at Lookabout Manor Assisted Living in Westminster.

Born Aug. 4, 1920, in Westminster, he was the son of the late Arthur D. Sr. and Bessie Mary Lawrence Starner. He was the husband of Virginia Naomi Starner, who died Nov. 20, 1988.

Before retiring, he worked at Congoleum Corp. in Finksburg for 40 years and was also a farmer. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church. His hobbies included working on Oliver tractors and tinkering with motors.

Surviving are daughter and son-in-law Linda L. and Walter Little of Westminster; sons and daughters-in-law Robert L. and Diana Starner of Finksburg, Arthur E. Starner and Janice Lockard, both of Westminster; grandchildren Annette, Barbara, Carol, Brian, Bobbi Jo, Earl, Dawn, Denise and David; and great-grandchildren Sarah, Abby, Paige, Paris, Ashley, Allison, Robby, Hailey, Ryan, Austin and Heather.

He was predeceased by sons Earl W. Starner and Arthur L. Lockard; and brothers Calvin and Richard L. Starner.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Fletcher Funeral Home, 254 E. Main St., Westminster, with the Rev. Bill Meushaw officiating. Interment will be in Krider's cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Carroll Hospice, 95 Carroll St., Westminster, MD 21157.

Edith M. Windsor, 77, of Westminster

Edith Marie Windsor, 77, of Westminster, formerly of Clinton, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004, at her daughter's home in Westminster.

Born May 29, 1927, in Jacksonville, Fla., she was the daughter of the late George and Hattie Finch.

Surviving are daughter and son-in-law Karen and Ed Townshend; sons and daughters-in-law Bobby and Jean Windsor, Ronnie and Patty Windsor and Ray Windsor; sisters and brother-in-law Virginia Fields Bradley and Betty and Bob Mosley; brother Jack Finch; daughter-in-law Donna Windsor; sister-in-law Barbara Finch; brother-in-law Pace Rose; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by son Billy Windsor; sister Mary Rose; brother George Finch; and sister-in-law Pat Finch.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Independent Baptist Church, 9255 Piscataway Road, Clinton.

Memorial donations may be made to Carroll Hospice Inc., 95 Carroll St., Westminster, MD 21157.

Arrangements are by Lee Funeral Home Inc., Clinton.

Emory W. 'Woody' Burk, 87, of Gettysburg, Pa.

Emory W. "Woody" Burk, 87, of Gettysburg, Pa., died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004, at the Gettysburg Lutheran Retirement Village.

Born May 30, 1917, in Fowblesburg, he was the husband of Mary E. Walter Burk.

He was a carpenter and superintendent for the construction firm Samuel A. Kroll Inc.

He served in World War II with the U.S. Army in Europe and Africa. Along with his honorable discharge, he was a recipient of the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star.

He was a life member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Arcadia, the Boring Volunteer Fire Department and Disabled American Veterans, Old Glory 22.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children Carol Brooks of Plano, Texas, the Rev. John K. Burk of Perry Hall and Joyce Brown of Sisters, Ore.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 15801 Trenton Road, Upperco. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the church.

E. Eugene Frock, 74, of Westminster

E. Eugene "Gene" Frock, 74, of Westminster, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2004 at the Carroll Hospital Center.

Born Nov. 25, 1929, in Westminster, he was the son of the late Elmer E. and Ethel Eckard Frock.

He was a 1946 graduate of Westminster High School. An avid trumpet player, he started his own jazz band at the age of 14. Later in his career, he formed the Gene Frock Orchestra, and played with the Duke Ellington Band, the Glenn Miller Band, the Pete Fountain Orchestra, the Bill Dayton Band and other well known musicians.

After his father's retirement, he took over the family business and operated Frock's Sunnybrook Farm, a swimming and banquet facility that hosted many banquets and dances throughout the years. He later expanded to a full scale catering facility until his retirement in 1999.

He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Door to Virtue Lodge 46 AF & AM, the Western Maryland Shrine Club and Boumi Temple, the Scottish Rite, the Carroll Commandry and Knights Templar, was a life member and past president of the Westminster Lions Club, the Westminster Elks Lodge 2277, the Westminster Moose Lodge 1381, the Molleville Farm Post VFW 467, a member of the VFW Men's Auxiliary, a charter member of the Westminster Eagles 4378 and the Knights of Pythians and a life member of the Carroll County Farm Museum. He was a former member of the Westminster Municipal Band. He enjoyed traveling and playing in blackjack tournaments in Las Vegas.

Surviving are daughter and son-in-law James and Bonnie Frock Lusby of Finksburg; sons Kevin E. Frock of Westminster, Lynn E. Frock of Mesquite, Texas; sister Erma F. Groft of Westminster; grandchildren Steven Lusby and Michael, Zachary, Katelyn and Jacob Frock; and nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster with the Rev. Frederick Eckhardt officiating. Interment will be in Kriders Church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home, at which time the Westminster Lions Club will conduct a memorial service at 8:30 p.m. and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, at which time the Door to Virtue Lodge will conduct a masonic service at 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Westminster Lions Club, P.O. Box 246, Westminster, MD 21158.

Beverly A. Hill, 66, of Westminster

Beverly Ann Hill, 66, of Westminster, died Friday, Sept. 10, 2004, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Towson, due to a lengthy illness.

Born Aug. 17, 1938, in Baltimore City, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Earl and Ruth Ann Rodert. She was the former wife of Charles Hill.

She was a homemaker and helper with the Arc Association of Westminster. She enjoyed flowers, plants, gardening and sewing.

Surviving, in addition to her former husband, are children Jeanie of Westminster, Rodney of Silver Run, Karen of Taneytown, Sharon of Westminster and Kevin of North Carolina; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters Phyllis Arnold, Patsy Tuma and Margret Grimm; and brother Earl Rodert.

She was predeceased by sisters Audrey Tontz, Evelyn Kamman and Norma Ray Rodert; brother Charles Rodert; and grandchild Jordan Micciche.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Parkwood cemetery, 3310 Taylor Ave., Baltimore.

Ronald J. Thomas, 37, of Hampstead

Ronald "Ronnie" Junior Thomas, 37, of Hampstead, died Monday, Sept. 13, 2004, at his home.

Born Oct. 16, 1966, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Rufus Gyrel Thomas and Eleanor May Schuman of Middle River. He was the husband of Kari Elizabeth Criswell Thomas.

He was a superintendent and carpenter at Homewood General Contractors. He was a member of Harley Owners Group, Time Release Car Club and Christ Lutheran Church, Upperco.

Surviving, in addition to his mother and wife, are son Dalton W. Erichsen Thomas of Hampstead; sister Debra A. Noel of Glen Burnie; brother David A. Cullum of Middle River, Patrick T. Bley of Jarrettsville; stepsister Marie Schuman of Middle River; stepbrother William Schuman Jr. of Middle River; and several nephews and nieces.

He was predeceased by brother Gerald L. Thomas.

A funeral service will be held at noon Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church, 16530 Trenton Church Road, Upperco, with the Rev. Michael Adams officiating. Interment will be in Christ Lutheran cemetery, Upperco.

Friends may call from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 16530 Trenton Church Road, Upperco, MD 21155.

Arrangements are by the Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main St., Hampstead.

Kenneth A. Freeman Sr., 76, of Sykesville, died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004, at his home.
