Theresa F. Strohminger (nee Salchunas), age 93, of Mt. Airy, Maryland, died Thursday March 25, 2004 at Continuum Care at Sykesville.
She was born August 23, 1910 in Baltimore, Maryland the daughter of the late William Salchunas and the late Theresa Salchunas (nee Duback).
She was an Executive Assistant for Hutzlers Brothers Department Store in Baltimore for 16 years and then a homemaker.
She was the Wife of Melvin Strohminger.
She was the mother of Robert F. Strohminger of Mt. Airy and M. Sears and wife Nancy Morel Strohminger of Baltimore.
Dear sister of Edna Siebert of Catonsville and Mildred Marriner of Hagerstown.
Grandmother of Nina S., and Margot F. both of Baltimore and Mitchell S. Strohminger of New York City.
Predeceased by Siblings George and Anton Salchunas, Margaret Brook and Elizabeth Taylor.
Memorial Service Saturday April 3, 2004 at 2:30 P.M. at Burrier-Queen Funeral Directors, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) with the Rev. O.F. “Bud” Kibbe officiating.
Private Interment

He was born December 25, 1921 in Woodbine, MD the son of the late LeRoy Harrison and the late Edna Harrison (nee Leatherwood).
He was a farmer. He was an avid Hunter and Loved fishing and playing cards.
He was the husband of Marguerite M. Harrison (nee Franklin)-living.
He was the father of Shirley Y. Dubbert and her husband William F. of Woodbine.
Dear brother of Beatrice Knill of Woodbine and the late Gladys Snow.
Uncle of Doris L. Condon of Woodbine.
Loving Grandfather of Sterling William Dubbert of Annapolis and David A. Dubbert of Woodbine.
Great grandfather of Sterling William Dubbert, Jr. of Annapolis.
Funeral Service will be held Monday March 29, 2004 at 12:00 Noon at Burrier-Queen Funeral Directors, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) with the Rev. Lisa Sparks of Lisbon U.M. Church in Lisbon officiating
Interment will be in Morgan Chapel U.M. Church cemetery in Woodbine, MD.

Silvio E. Gallo, age 72, of Randallstown, died Wednesday March 31, 2004, at his home.
He was the son of the late Peter Gallo and the late Thressa Gallo (nee Volpe).
He was born March 30, 1932 in Brockway, PA.
His education was Chartered Life Underwriter from American College of Life Underwriters in 1967.
He was an Agent, Life Ins. Sales & Service and securities investment for Peoples Life Ins., Lincoln National and mainly from Mass Mutual Life Ins. Co., since August 1967. He was a member and a Eucharistic Minister at Holy Family R.C. Church in Randallstown. He was a CPL in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Baltimore Life Underwriters; Association of Chartered Life Underwriters.
He was the husband of Teresa Gallo (nee Verderaime), married
May 13, 1961 at St. Ambrose Church, Baltimore, MD.
He was the father of Maria G. Agiato and husband Joseph of Garden City, NY, Anthony P. Gallo and wife Wendy of Cockeysville, MD, Gina G. Dembeck and husband R. Terrence of Perry Hall, MD, and Carla G. Hagan and husband John of New Hope, PA.
He was brother of Angelina Bost, Vincent Gallo, Anthony A. Gallo, Lena Wilburn, Violet Mohr, Samuel Gallo, and Florence Hammerbacker.
He was grandfather of Christopher, Andrew, Elizabeth, Emily, Michael, Natalie, Kayla and Nicholas.
Funeral Liturgy (MASS) will be Saturday April 3, 2004 at 9:00 A.M. at Holy Family R.C. Church, 9533 Liberty Road, Randallstown, with Fr. Walter McGovern of Holy Family R.C. Church in Randallstown officiating.
Interment will be Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD.

Died Saturday February 28, 2004 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
He was the spouse of Betty Ann Phebus Smith.
He was born May 13, 1929 in Frederick, MD the son of the late Amos Abner and Late Katie Pauline Sappington Smith.
Mr. smith worked as a farmer for part of his life and later worked for Baltimore Gas and Electric and then retired from AT & T. He was an avid Hunter and Fisherman. He enjoyed playing Bingo and Watching Days of Our Lives and Watching Western Movies. He also enjoyed Blue grass and Country Music.
Surviving in Addition to his wife are Daughter and Son-in-law: Kathy and Tony Boreni of Taneytown, Son and Daughter-in-law Craig and Vicky Smith of Taneytown, Daughter and Son-in-law Cindy Smith and Ken Bourdon of Taneytown. Sister Pauline Lenhart of Mt. Pleasant, Brother Amos W. Smith of Frederick and Brother: Richard Cole Smith of Walkersville. Grandchildren Crystal, Jessica, Ricky, Keith and Travis. Great-Grandchildren: Kriston, Jordan, Amir and Natalie

Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday March 3, 2004 at 11:30 Am with Rev. William Phebus Officiating at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home, 1212 West Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784.
Interment will be in Poplar Spring cemetery, Poplar Springs, MD.
The Family will receive friends at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home on Monday 7 to 9 PM and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7-9 PM

He was born January 29, 1928 in Woodlawn, MD the son of the late Philip E. Martin and the late Viola Martin (nee Kauffus).
He was the Owner of Martin Excavating Contractor Company. He was an avid foxhunter; Airplane Enthusiasm, a former pilot and he enjoyed his grandkids.
He was the husband of Theresa A. Martin (nee Dyson) of Sykesville.
He was the father of Bud Martin of New Windsor, Joe Martin of Winfield, Barbara Carr of Winfield, Pamela Martin of Portsmouth, VA and the late Rick Martin.
He was the brother of Dora Lee Dawson of Fl., Jean Johnson of Fl., Ellen Black of Westminster and the late Lawrence Martin.
Loving grandfather of Joey, Elizabeth, Rachel and Nicholas.

Noel Benjamin Simpson, age 82, of Mt. Airy, died Sunday March 21, 2004 at Oakland Manor Nursing Home in Eldersburg, MD.
He was born November 2, 1921 in West Virginia and was the son of the late Charles Simpson and the late Xava Simpson (nee Nunn).
He was the husband of the late Mollie R. Simpson (nee Wagoner), who preceded him in death on Jan. 18, 1986.
He is survived by one sister Pauline Webb and husband Walter of Milford, Delaware.
Two Stepdaughters Jacqueline B. Aldrich and husband Robert of Clemson, S.C. and Edna M. Miller and husband George of Martinsburg, WV.
Also step grandchildren Dr. Larry Bowman of Seneca, S.C., Gary Miller and Stephen Miller of Middle Way, WV, Jackie A. Lawson of Leesburg, VA and Evelyn Ciarrocck of West Grove, PA.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He resided in Baltimore & Baltimore County before moving to Mt. Airy, MD where he was a farmer for many years. He was a crane operator for Arundel Crane and retired to farming. He was a veteran of World War II and was wounded in Europe.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 25, 2004 at 11:00 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Directors, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield, MD (Beside South Carroll High School).
Interment will be in Meadowridge Memorial Park.

He was a Sales Manager for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. He was a Life Member of VFW#7234 Ocean View, DE. And a member of the American Legion #166 in Ocean City, MD. He was a Life Member of the Sharon Lodge #182 A.F. & A.M. He was a member of St. Matthew’s U.M. Church By the Sea in Fenwick Island. He served in the Army Air Force during WWII.
He was the husband of Mary L. Loats (nee Nippard).
He was the father of Deborah L. Brune of Willards, MD, Stepfather of M. Colleen King, Susan D. Middleton and Paul L. Drnec.
