He was born September 15, 1910 in Baltimore, MD the son of the late Charles S. Hartman and the late Charlotte S. Hartman (nee Scoggins).
He was the husband of the late Josephine M. Hartman (nee Ruffin).
He was a Retired Agent for the Railway Express.
He was the father of Lois M. Winship of Towson and Charlotte Foster of Sykesville.
Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 14, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Burrier-Queen Funeral Directors, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School)
Interment will be in Loudon Park cemetery, Baltimore, MD

James B. Winther, age 72, of Ocala, Fl., died Saturday April 10, 2004 at Legacy House in Ocala Florida.
He was born November 16, 1931 in Germany, the son of the late Ocke L. Winther and the late Erna I. Schmidt Winther.
He was retired as an Electronics Engineer for the Library of Congress.
He was in the Air Force between 1948-1955 as a Staff Sgt.
He was the husband of Beverly Winther (nee Curry).
He was father of Carolyn Merek of Gaithersburg, MD, Susan Johnson of Waldorf, MD, Scott Winther of Slidell, Louisiana, Leigh Shook of Mt. Airy, MD, David Shook of Summerville, SC, Kathy Double of Mt. Airy and Michelle Mangum of Germantown, MD.
Also survived by 13 grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday April 15, 2004 at 12:30 P.M. at Burrier-Queen Funeral Directors, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) with the Rev. O.F. “Bud” Kibbe, Methodist clergy officiating.
Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick, MD.

He was born September 23, 1933 in Baltimore, MD, the son of the late John V. Fitzgerald and Anna Marie Slaughter Fitzgerald.
He was the husband of the late Anna Jeanette Hoover Fitzgerald.
He was a machinist (maintenance mechanic) for Maryland Dry Dock. An Officer of the Credit Union and a member of the Union.
He was the father of Wanda Shade of Woodbine, Darlene Truslow of VA and John Michael Fitzgerald of Baltimore
Dear brother of Paul Fitzgerald of New Windsor, Mary Hayes of Baltimore, and Mae Whitley of South Carolina.
Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday December 27, 2003 at 10:00 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Directors, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) with the Rev. Wallace “Bud” Lusk officiating.
Interment will be in Cedar Hill cemetery, Brooklyn, MD

Jeanne Patrice Dubel Byrd, age 49, of Baltimore County, died Monday August 9, 2004 at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD.
She was born September 28, 1954 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of Dr. Robert Y. Dubel and Helen M. Dubel (nee Miles).
She was a homemaker. She graduated from Western Maryland College.
She was the mother of Kirsten Roza Byrd.
She was the sister of James M. and Kenneth Y. Dubel and Rebecca D. Snodderly.
A gathering of friends and relatives will be held Friday August 13, 2004 between 1:30-3:00 PM, a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM at Milford Mill U.M. Church, 915 Milford Mill Road, Pikesville, MD with the Pastor Joan Carter-Rimbach of Milford Mill U.M. Church in Pikesville officiating.

Joel S. Chewning (nee Storie), age 81, of New Windsor, formerly of Woodlawn died Sunday August 1, 2004 surrounded by her loving family at Westminster Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Westminster.
She was born May 26, 1923 in Dayton, TN.
She was a Legal Secretary since graduating from High School. She was employed by Venable, Batcher, and Howard prior to her retirement in 1988.
She was the wife of Hershel F. Chewning of New Windsor-living, married
in November 1942.
She was the mother of Stephen E. Chewning and his wife Donna of New Windsor.
Loving grandmother of two granddaughters Kristine Poorman and Keri Aponte and survived also by two great grandsons Will and Tyler.
Graveside Service and Inurnment will be on Tuesday August 3, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at Woodlawn cemetery in Woodlawn, MD, officiating by Fr. John Wilbur of St. Paul Episcopal Church in Lisbon

He was the spouse of Natalie Virginia Hawkins Dickerson. He was born March 10, 1916 in Goodview, VA the son of the late John Paul and Helen McFiggan Dickerson.
Mr. Dickerson was a scheduler for CSX railways.
Also Survived by daughter: Emily Solomon of Woodbine.
Grand daughter: Sarah Bassett and her husband Nathaniel of Woodbine.
Great-Grandsons: Alex, Scott and Steve Bassett.

Jose Martin Sanchez Gonzalez, 37 of New Market and Mexico City, Mexico, died suddenly Friday October 22, 2004 due to injuries suffered in an automobile accident. He was the spouse of Maria Eugenia de la Cruz Retana. He was born July 2, 1967 in Mexico City Mexico the son of Rafael Sanchez Serrano and Alicia Gonzalez Velazquez.
He was employed at Ben Lewis Pluming of Laurel as a Plumber and also at the Olive Leaf Café in Mt. Airy as a dishwasher.
He is also survived by Daughters: Gabriela Melissa Sanchez de la Cruz and Liliana Beatriz Sanchez de la Cruz both of Mexico. Brothers: Arturo Sanchez of New Market and Rafael Sanchez of Mexico, Nephew: Fernando Sanchez and Sister: Diana Sanchez Gonzales.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday October 26, 2004 at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, P.A., 1212 West Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784. at 11:00 AM
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 AM until time of Service.
The Family will also be having funeral services and interment in Mexico at a later date.

Jules R. Panneton, of Mt. Airy, died Wednesday June 23, 2004 at Our Family Assisted Living, Mt. Airy, MD.
He was the spouse of Esther Annette Panneton (nee Grandmont) of Mt. Airy to whom he was married
for 64 years. He was born December 14, 1916 in Manchester, NH the son of the late Ovila Panneton and the late Clara Panneton (nee Ross).
Mr. Panneton was a retired analyst from NSA Department of Defense. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a Member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Mt. Airy, MD and St. Luke’s Catholic Church, Ocean City, MD where he was an usher and lay leader.
Surviving in addition to his wife are Sons Robert J. Panneton of Houston, Texas, Paul E. Panneton of Sykesville and Daughter Annette Fleishell of Sykesville. Also survived by sisters Beatrice Gelinas, Eva Berube, and Rita Werderman, 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday June 26, 2004 10 Am at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, “OLD CHURCH”1200 St. Michael’s Road Mt. Airy, MD 21771.
Interment will be in Parklawn cemetery, Rockville, MD
The Family will receive friends at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A. on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM where a Prayer service will be held on at 7:30 PM.

Mrs. Rhodes worked in Retail Clothing Sales.
She was a volunteer at Carroll County General Hospital and Enjoyed Gardening,
