Katherine Pamela Sadler (nee Hornick), age 86, of Kingsville, MD, died Thursday October 14, 2004 at Maryland General Hospital, Baltimore, MD.
She was born July 5, 1918 in Roland Park, Maryland the daughter of the late Morris T. Hornick and the late Vola Hornick (nee Robust).
She was a retired real estate broker for K.P. Sadler Realtor. She was a member of Fork U.M. Church.
Survived by Sister-in-laws: Mary Hornick and Connie Hornick and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday October 19, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) with the Pastor Robert Carter of Fork U.M. Church officiating.
Interment will be in Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, MD.

Katie Dell Hammond, 72 of Thurmont, MD, died Monday October 25, 2004 at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Mt. Airy, MD. She was born February 16, 1932 in Unionville, MD the daughter of the late George C. And Helen Irene Devilbiss Hammond.
She worked for the Telephone Company for over 42 years.
Surviving are Son: Warren Burger of Woodbine, Daughter: Terry Lynn Andrews of Frederick Grandchildren: Felicia Kolb of Frederick. Trisha Dalton of Frederick, Emily Jo Cave of Walkersville and Carrie Elizabeth Burger of Fort Collins Colorado. Also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will take place Friday October 29, 2004 at 10 AM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A.
Interment will be in Linganore United Methodist Church cemetery, Unionville, MD
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 am until time of Service
Leo William Moxley

Leo "Bill" Moxley died Sunday September 28, 2003 at Westminster Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was the spouse Brooxxie Bell Layton Moxley.
Mr. Moxley was born on April 19, 1919 in Randallstown, MD the son of the late James and late Virginia Moxley.
He was employed by Johns Hopkins University, Applied Physics Lab as a carpenter.
Member of American Legion Gold Star Post 191 Mount Airy, A Veteran of the United States Navy he also enjoyed Gardening and Woodworking.
Surviving besides his current wife are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday October 2, 2003 11:00 AM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME 1212 W. OLD LIBERTY RD. WINFIELD, MD
Interment will be in Morgan Chapel cemetery, Woodbine, MD
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday October 1, 2003 from 7 to 9PM with a American Legion Memorial Service at 7:30 PM

Linda A. Bennett Lewis, 90, died Saturday, June 19, 2004 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
She was spouse of the late Eugene Francis Lewis whom passed away in 1983.
Mrs. Lewis was born August 30, 1913 in Howard County, MD the daughter of the late Charles Edward and late Mary Elizabeth Magers Bennett. Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker and took great pride in her vegetable garden, Canning and Making Clothing. She was a member of the Ladies Aid Society and A Life Member of Mt. View U.M. Church in Purdum, MD
Surviving are Daughter and Son-in-law Doris M. and George Woodfield of Mt. Airy, Brother Leroy Bennett, 4 Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by 3 Sisters: Edna Reedy, Florrie Gilbert and Addie Porter, 1 Brother: Russell Bennett and one Daughter Norma Lee Watkins.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, June 23, 2004 11:00 AM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A. with the Rev. Wallace Lusk and the Rev. Dennis Yocum officiating.
Interment will be in Poplar Springs U.M. cemetery, Poplar Springs, MD

Died on Tuesday February 17, 2004 at her home in Mt. Airy after a long illness.
She was the spouse of Dr. Randolph Johnston, MD.
She was born October 31, 1945 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of Hazel Webb Murphy of Charles Town, WV and the late Woolford Murphy.
Mrs. Johnston was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Mt. Airy, MD with a vocational life as a passionate educator of children with special needs, a loving mother, generous friend and neighbor, fun grandmother and much loved companion.
Surviving her besides her husband and mother are 5 Children, 7 Grandchildren.
Her Life and death will be celebrated on Sunday February 22, 2004 3 PM at St. James Episcopal Church, 202 North Main St. Mt. Airy, MD 21771. With Rev. Portia Hirshchman officiating.

Lucille Bolton Montgillion, age 79, of Sykesville, died Saturday June 26, 2004 at her home.
She was born January 17, 1925 in Olney, MD, the daughter of the late Theodore Bolton and Miriam Bolton (nee Howes).
She was a secretary for the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture for 31 years.
She was the mother of Robert B. Montgillion.
She was the sister of the late William and James Bolton and Dorothy Rabbit.
She will be remembered by the Hett family whom she resided with the past 25 years.
Graveside Service and Interment will be held Thursday July 1, 2004 at 10:30 AM at Laytonsville Methodist cemetery, Laytonsville, MD, with the Rev. O.F. “Bud” Kibbe, Methodist clergy officiating.

Marion R. Subock, age 71, of Mt. Airy, MD, died Friday December 12, 2003 at his home.
He was born January 24, 1932 in Baltimore, MD the son of the late Harry E. Subock and the late Bessie Krickbaum Subock.
He was the husband of Alyne L. Ludwig Subock.
He was a steamfitter plumber for the Local Union #486 in Baltimore. He was a veteran in the Army during the Korean War.
Father of Laura L. Lucas and Husband Robert of Richmond, VA, Russell W. Subock and wife Pamela of Sykesville, Ellen R. Bailey and husband Scott of Severn, Darla M. Taylor and husband Gary of Mt. Airy and the late Brenda Subock.
Also survived by 3 sisters, 3 brothers, and 4 grandchildren.

Marjorie A. Kenzie of Mt. Airy, MD, formerly of Jackson MI, died Wednesday, December 24, 2003 at the home of her daughter Lu Ann Beavers.
She was the wife of the late Bernard F. Kenzie who passed away in 1990.
She was a retired payroll supervisor with the Southern Michigan State Prison. She enjoyed knitting and hand work.
In addition to her daughter she is survived by 2 sons: David A. and Wife Mary Kenzie of McCormick, SC and Jack L. and Wife Mary Ann Kenzie of Grass Lake MI. Grandchildren: Susan, Lisa, Jason, Daniel, Michael, Monica, Theresa, Kathy, Kim, Maggie and Jenny. Also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in Death by son: Larry G. Kenzie.
A Memorial Dinner will be held on Sunday December 28 2003 from 2 PM to 5 PM at the home of Lu Ann Beavers.

Maurice E. Beall, Sr., age 82, of Frederick, died Tuesday September 16, 2003 at his home.
He was born July 20, 1921 in Woodbine, MD., the son of the late Clennie S. Beall and the late Elsie Green Beall.
He was the husband of the late Sylvia S. Beall (nee Magers) who died March 21, 2002.
He was a railroad car man for B & O Railroad. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Woodbine. He was a Life Member of Mt. Airy American Legion Gold Star Post #191 and Four Counties VFW Post #10076 in Mt. Airy, MD; He was a Corporal in the 2519TH Army Air Forces Base unit, 1st. troop carrier squadron.
Surviving are daughters and son-in-laws Sylvia S. and Ronald Dobson of Jacksonville, Florida, Gloria and Dean Cherrix of Taylorsville, MD, and son and daughter-in-law Maurice E. Beall, Jr. and Diane of Chesterfield, VA.
Dear brother of Arthur G. Beall of Sykesville and the late Stephen A. Beall and late Katie Mae Fiddler.
Loving grandfather of Ron, Jr., Shawn, Kevin, Daniel and Clinton Dobson, Gloria Jean Burriss, David and Stacy Faidley, Kelly Crumbacker, Michael, Jeffrey and Emily Beall.
Also survived by 16 great grandchildren
